Air India failed to confirm Tamil Nadu’s Hindu religious and charitable endowments minister K R Periyakaruppan’s ticket even though he was issued a wait list ticket on the Chennai-Madurai flight on August 3. Dedicated to Walkure Aria TEOA Chapter 1 – Prélude Germany is the home of historical giants: Beethoven, Einstein, Fahrenheit, Gauss and even Hitler. Its capital, the metropolis of Berlin, lies smack in the center of Europe. With a population of over 3.4 million, Berlin is Germany’s largest city. Our odyssey begins in a quiet little neighbourhood around the Brandenburg Gate. It was the third day of March and there was a serene silence in the morning air. Dawn kindled a blanket of fire over the spherical horizon. Twilight is the time between dawn and sunrise. It is the time when the goldfinch rises with the Sun, to sing its morning song in the clear air. As it sang, a girl’s voice accompanied it, generating harmony. Her name was Aria. Singing was the first skill she learned, even before her first words. However, it has been 16 years and still, it was her only skill. Her parents were a very rich and busy couple and had sent her to a boarding school. “Goodbye” was the last word she heard from them. They decided to send her on a trip around the world to learn disciplines other than music. They had given her an abundant amount of money for the journey. As sunrise illuminated the nearby pond, Aria stood and sang. The train would be arriving soon. Chapter 2 – Waltz Dusk drew its curtains as the locomotive came to rest at the station in Vienna. In an outflow of passengers, Aria stepped off the train with her travel bag. She struggled her way to the waiting area, which was jam-packed with fellow travellers. She had no idea what to do or where to go and as she remained undecided, anxiety began to gnaw away at her serenity. Nearby, a young man waited with a bouquet in his hands. He was well-dressed, as if he were going to a ball. Then he received an electronic message on his cell phone. He read it. He paused for a moment. “Oh God! Oh man! Oh God! Oh man! …” He threw his phone towards the ground with all his might, and then he crushed it with his foot. After he had calmed down, he made his way to the exit. However, just as he was about to leave, he noticed Aria amongst the crowd. “Excuse me, young lady, pardon me, but may I ask if you are waiting for someone?” Aria blushed: she had never spoken to a man apart from her father. She had been attending an all-girls school for the past ten years and she had no siblings. “No,” she replied shyly. “What is your name?” he asked. “Aria,” she responded. “My name is Johann and I am pleased to meet you. Aria, would you like to accompany me to the ball?” he proposed, offering her his bouquet. “Why … yes, please take me there,” she accepted after a moment of silence. *** They arrived at the Hofburg Palace in a horse-drawn carriage. The ball less crowded than the train station – most likely because it was past 3 AM. Vienna has over 300 public balls each year, with some balls having attendance up to 5000. Balls in Vienna start at 8 or 9 PM and last until 5 AM. At larger balls, food is available at a buffet that is open all night long. The young man handed in his tickets and the young couple arrived at the ball scene. The room was brilliantly lit by a beautiful chandelier attached to the ceiling. A winding staircase on both sides of the room led up to the balcony, where a small orchestra was playing the Blue Danube by Johann Strauss II. Men in tuxedos and women in gowns drank, ate, and chatted around the perimeter of the room. Those in the middle of the dance floor were waltzing to the music. “Aria, may I have this dance?” Aria extended her hand, which her partner took. Then they began dancing the Vienna Waltz. Aria had never danced before, but she had a keen sense of music and was able to learn the waltz with great ease. She loved it – perhaps as much as she loved music. When the ball ended, Johann escorted Aria to a hotel. Before leaving, he asked her if she would like to tour the city with him the following day. Aria, who started to develop a liking towards the young man, accepted without hesitating. “Good night, Aria.” He kissed her on the cheek and left by taxi. Aria slowly slid her hand over her cheek. It was the first time she had been kissed.I am working on this every day. moreVoting Question: How can I improve the first 2 chapters of my novel?

I'm 17 travelling with my sister who is 10. We are travelling with Air France to Sofia, Bulgaria through Paris. I have been travelling alone since I was 15. And 2 years in a row we had NO problems. When I was 15 we had to get unaccompanied minor assistance, however last year when i was 16 there was no problem travelling. This year Air France is being were rude and not letting us travel alone although our parents have declarations. They said I have to be 18 before we can travel together. So they are asking my parents to send my sister with an UM and for me to travel alone. Since we bought the tickets electronically .. there is no refunds. What are some tactics I can use to get along with Air France ? What can we do ? I mean I turn 18 in January which is not that far away, but they refuse to board us. I am looking to buy a round-trip plane ticket to India for late May to early July. I've been keeping an eye on prices and could potentially buy now, but I'm doing this with a friend. Her family (which is from India and travels there frequently) insists that it is cheaper to buy the tickets two months before departure instead of, say...now. The idea is that prices go up for a bit but then come back down. My general understanding of ticket prices is of course that they only go up, but could it be that they will go down? Her dad refuses to buy tickets so early, but I feel I should if they are going to keep going up. However it would be ideal to buy tickets together. So should I wait so long to purchase my ticket? Do prices for tickets to India go down at certain times before a departure? We would be flying Air India. moreResolved Question: Word Problems? Help Please.?
Q1. Sunset rents an SUV at $21.95 plus $0.23 per mile. Sunrise rents the same vehicle for $24.95 plus $0.19 per mile. For what mileage is the cost the same? [Hint: Using "m" for miles and "c" for cost, write one equation for each rental company. Then solve the system by one of the methods learned in Project 4.02.] Q2. Six pears and three apples cost $3.90. Two pears and five apples cost $3.30. How much does one pear cost? [Hint: You have two unknowns (variables), so you need two equations. Write one equation for each situation and solve the system of equations.] Q3. Two cars leave town going opposite directions. One car is traveling 55 mph, and the other is traveling 65 mph How long will it take before they are 180 miles apart? [Hint: The time for both cars is the same and can be represented by "t." The total distance is 180 miles. The distance = (rate)(time). If you add the (rate)(time) of the first vehicle to the (rate)(time) of the second vehicle, that will equal the total distance of 180 miles. Since you only have one unknown (t), you only need one equation.] Q4. A kayaker paddled 2 hours with a 6 mph current in a river. The return trip against the same current took 3 hours. Find the speed the kayaker would make in still water. [How to slove: The distance is the same both upstream and downstream and can be represented by "d." The rate is tricky. The trip downstream (with the current) is faster than the upstream trip (against the current). We don't know the speed the kayaker makes in still water, so we can represent that with "r." We do know that going with the current will add 6mph to this rate (r + 6), and going against the current will subtract 6mph from his rate (r - 6). Now we can write two equations (we have two unknowns). Using d = rt again, the equation upstream is: d = (r - 6)3. You write the equation for the equation downstream, and solve the system. Don't forget the units in your answer.] Q5. Your piggy bank has 25 coins in it; some are quarters and some are nickels. You have $3.45. How many nickels do you have? (I know you can figure this out by trial and error, but you must write the equations and solve.) [Hint: You have two unknowns: "q" for quarters and "n" for nickels. You need two equations. I searched for some educational trips too but none touches or is from my country.. I need help from ya all to lead me to the right direction moreResolved Question: Why is Air France so expensive?
I'm a North American currently living and France and doing relatively frequent travel through France, Europe, Mideast. Perhaps it's just a coincidence but every time I've looked at buying a ticket to anywhere - transatlantic flight, European flight, to the Mideast - Air France always seems to be substantially more expensive, and that's without counting low-cost flyers like EasyJet. For instance, I chose random dates for Lyon to Berlin, and an Air France flight transferring in Paris CDG is 25% more than a SwissAir flight flight transferring in Zurich. Sometimes the prices seem to be less crazy if you leave directly from Paris, but it's not a sure thing by any means. A flight from Paris to Amman is 740-or-so Euro on Royal Jordanian (which is quite a nice airline), but flying Air France costs 1400 Euro for the same direct flight with the same duration. A flight from Paris to New York costs with one transfer costs 50% more if I go with Air France instead of BA. Intra-France travel is so expensive it makes more sense to just buy a train ticket. What the heck is going on here? Is it all based on travel out of Paris, is Lyon an expensive hub, is this all just a coincidence on my part, or is there some actual reason to explain why Air France fares seem so out of whack? moreResolved Question: PLEASE VERIFY THIS INFO FOR ME. I WANT TO KNOW IF THIS IS FRAUD!!!!!!!!!!?
HELLO, How are you? I have seen your resume(CV),you are welcome to my home here in the UK, but what i really need is someone who can take care of kids.Actually I need two nannies.Truly,I need a foreign Nanny either male or female .I knew that there are a lot of Nannies in UK here but is just that i need an Nanny from outside that is caring, loving, motherly care and well determined that can take good care of my kids for me .Hopefully you will be my kid's Nanny and do according to your words.I don't play with my kids at all because they are the apples of my eyes,i worked because of them and i can pay so much on them. My advice to you is that you should be involved in the expenses to reach here in United Kingdom and i shall be responsible for refund for every expenses made by you immediately you get here. Why I said so is that i have paid for 2 Nannies in the past months which they did not come to my home but went to somewhere else and that is why I vowed that any Nannies that i will employ, will be involved in the expenses, just for me to be sure that you will not do like the past Nannies and yo u are ready to work with my family here in UK because I don't want someone who don't care about kids because i cherish my kids alot.I will give you assistance in the expenses. The total cost of securing papers(UK VISA,WORK PERMIT,UK IDENTIFICATION NUMBER) is 2650 Pounds Sterling. So I will shoulder 2450 Pounds while you will shoulder 200 Pounds Sterling.Hope you are ok with this. I will be responsible for your air ticket. The reasons why I wanted you shouldering that amount is: :Due to the signed agreement I have with the British consulate office due to what the other nannies I shouldered every expenses for did to me by going to another direction....I thought the travel agency had deals with them.so I charged the matter to the British consulate office here in London but later discovered that the travel agency never had deals with them. At this point I was made to sign an agreement that any nanny I will employ as a foreigner will be involved in the expenses but will be refunded back his or her money immediately him or her arrives UK here in London. Hope you are ok with this. The British consulate office told me they will compensate me by approving visa and papers to any application of nanny in respect of my file to their office . So you have 100 % assurance of coming over to work for me in London. Don't worry about the United Kingdom,it's a nice place to stay and which I hope you will enjoy staying here with my family and you will have the access to internet In fact i have a personal PC at home for myself but my kids usually play games on their own PC, i will get you a computer to start using for your own use..All expenses made by you will be refunded immediately you get here. The travel agency will get visa for you and will be directly responsible for all the documentations, including Visa, Working permit, and the verifications of your identity in collaboration with the Home office. Because of the current terrorism in the United Kingdom, your documents will be properly verified by the home office. They will apply for visa on your behalf in the UK Home Office here in United Kingdom and when the visa is ready the UK Embassy in your country, will call on you,so that they can endorse the visa on your original passport.Just follow any instructions i give you because that will make things a reality. The duties I'm looking for are as follows: 1-Supervise breakfast with the children in the morning and get them off to school (Collect my 2KIDS of ages 4yrs(daughter/Tracy) and 5yrs(son/Mikel) old from school at 3.40pm.) 2-Some Housework/washing/ironing as required on a daily basis 3-Supervise homework, music practice and fun activities or take children to after school activities. 4-Prepare and cook an evening meal for everyone at about 6.30-6.45 Up to two evenings child minding per week. 5-Weekends and Bank holidays would be free that there will not be much duties to carry out. 6-Occasional weekend work would be offered by prior negotiation. I normally leave for work at 7.00am and get back at around 6.30pm although some flexibility is useful. I am offering a live in position with full board (we eat well in this house!) 1-Separate Toilet and Bathroom. 2-TV,different type of video machines. 3-Personal computer already Internet on. e.t.c for you and i will make sure everything goes on well with you and with my kids. Now my friend here is a qantas enginer..he is responsible for every use by date and wear and tear of every conciviable part of the plane... I put foward to him why does the aircraft industry, not just build a saftey capsule that can float and is self sufficent on pressured oxygen and can act like a bouncing ball as to not get lodged or break up on landing or atmospheric turbulance such as ,hurricanes and lighting and hail.. with a parachute device that can be deployed for a guided landing. I realize the main objective for airlines is to get as many bums on seats as cheap and safley ,as possible on any given day,and to derive asubsatntial profit for that practice 365 days a year.. BUT surley for those who say it would not be viable to build or sustain or be profitable as on going bussines concern..I SAY to them there material to build such saftey device is there , these days the exco skeleton of plane would be cheaper to produce as the main expense would be concentrated with in the capsule,,and other saftey feature would be passengers would fly seperatley from cargo and and passengers would only carry an over nite bag with them and obtain clothes via the sale of main ticket at the destination of any airport .and on return these close can be put foward on cargo planes.making it the priority for the capsules to be free of any clutter other than the human body and essential supplys ,such as fisrt aid and survival packs..My friend supprised me and he sai amzingly that was the first question i asked my self,as maintance engnieer,,,and he was answered. then many people would have no job... well I KNOW ONE THING jobs can be re- created...insurances can charge more on ur saftey rather than ur demise.we have the means of the super higway of comunication to advertise ..do bussines from a stroke of a finger and not depend others to get things done for us...no long is there a comuincation interfernce with the airwaves ..to endanger lives and the flying of the airplane in a saftey mode.. THE TRUTH is that the current shape and idea of flying is very very very old the whole concept has to be re desingned and re calabrated not as a sausge with jets or properlers.but as a self genrated disk or oval shaped derigiable...and another thing.... it seems the only education in piloting the skys is the art of the BENELI effect ..surley there must be other ways of piloting space and atmosheric presures..? so i would like to know what ur views on this is... are we going to ply suasgages for the next 50 years or procced to a new concept of air travel and its saftey for its passangers....? moreResolved Question: Are babies allowed in the exit rows of planes?

As I hurriedly stuffed in more articles into my handbag, I took a quick glance at the clock hung over my bed where my luggage lay, some packed, and few yet to go. It was 8pm and the flight was scheduled for 12am.If all was to go right, I had to be at the airport 3hours prior to boarding (as per international airline rules) and here I was still stuck at home with a 1001 things running at the back of my mind , my mother constantly giving me tips, guidelines , a list of what to do and what not and across the hall, stood my dad, who gave a serious look at me, screaming silently about my undisciplined character and the unnecessary delayed being caused thereby. Fifteen minutes later, the luggage was loaded in the boot, and my family of four- my parents, and my younger brother , seated themselves in the car. It was a 45 minute drive to the airport, situated away from the main city. Initially, there was an unusual silence in the car, the English FM playing some light music and the RJ entertaining us to some jokes but soon enough it was mom, who enlightened the atmosphere back with her list of tips, guidelines etc. in midst of all the hush-a-hush dad dedicated all his concentration to driving but occasionally gave ears to mom’s lecture and passes on a smirk behind to me. We reached at the airport where I was joined by my best friend , a companion for the next few days who had arrived at the airport few minutes before us. I greeted her with a warm teddy bear hug to make up for the time I’d kept her waiting. All of us moved inside , which never seemed calm and composed even at this time of the day on a regular weekday. Passengers busy with the airport formalities, the officials storming from one side to another in case of passenger emergencies, and not to forget the well dressed, smart cabin crew that pass by us every time a flight departure is announced. No wonder, the Dubai International Airport, situated in the United Arab Emirates is ranked as one of the busiest airports on planet Earth. Both of us cleared all the airport travel procedures, got hold of our boarding passes issued by the handsome lean official at the Airline ticket counter. Moving towards are respective families , which had now engaged in a conversation in our absence, we passed on huge hugs to them , bid them goodbyes, not to escape the hideous tears from both our mothers, that created an air of nostalgia. A final wave, and we passed through our immigration procedures, final security check and zoomed into the duty free shop. We did an hour of window shopping and finally I picked up some Swiss chocolates, that were always my favourites, while my friend picked up a novel ‘The Last Lear’ . Terminal 3 awaited our presence to clear out few last min checks, and after which we were guided into the airport bus, to take us to our plane, that stood as majestic even in the dim hours of night , all set to greet its passengers . My friend stepped in first , followed by me and sat in our respective seats, that were adjacent to each other. Although , I was a great fan of window seats in airplanes, I happily allowed my friend to take it, maybe because I had loads of beautiful things that I was already imagining and thinking, that were way above the happiness I receive sitting next to the window . The plane was half empty imparting comfort of its own, creating a peaceful and calm ambience , which was quite an unusual scene on the contrary. We were greeted by refreshments by the air hostess and now, who was the sight of our eyes as both of us couldn’t distract ourselves off the lady’s beauty or rather make up. It still wonders me! Now Followed by the pilot’s welcome note , it now signaled us that we were to fly any moment from now. We performed a silent prayer to seek in God’s blessings and our loved one’s wishes before embarking this journey as in to remove or atleast subsidise that little fear embedded deep inside because of the recent air crashes, making one wonder about the safety about air travel. Deep above in the head , were a lot of doubts, and questions and deep within the heart I was excited about finally living my dream as a child, waiting to smell the air , touch the indigenous soil, soothen the eyes to see exotic nature, encounter cultures and traditions and a lot unseen, untold, eagerly waiting for its two little princesses to enter its royal territory and discover. It all seemed, paying homage to the beautiful land as humble devotees. Seatbelts-TIGHTENED , cell phones-SWITCHED OFF, windows-RISEN, engine-ROARING and wings-ALL SET TO FLY! Yes, me and my friend had boarded flight EK234 at 11pm on the first weekday of the month of July to embark a beautiful, exotic, exciting maiden journey to incredible INDIA, as travelers never before. moreResolved Question: How can I travel from Glasgow to Edinburgh?
