Resolved Question: Need help!! Planning honeymoon, but where to go? Give me your feedback and experiences please!!!?
Ok. Getting hitched, and me and my guy always go for the vacations that end up leaving you tired when you come home... backpacking in italy or gem mining or ust alot of planning involved in trips. So we figured we were going to do a beach nearish us. We are in Pittsburgh Pa... we were thinking like Aruba or St Lucia or st Martin or any of the beaches near florida or around that area. I have googled All inclusive vacations, but they seem very pricey... Are the worth it?? Does anyone have any experience anywhere that they can share? Or should we do our own thing or rent a villa. We like the idea of not having to worry about anything, but if you go that route which all inclusive do you choose? Is there a little island gem that we are missing!? Need help please!!!!! Give me any feedback you have on your own experiences or things you may have heard including-- which islands are awesome... where to stay... what to do... where to eat... all that jazz!!! Hit me up cause we are in need!!!!! THANKS! moreResolved Question: question about vacation to Aruba?

I am 23 weeks pregnant and live in Canada. Sometime in January I plan to fly to Aruba with my husband for an all inclusive vacation. We have chosen Aruba as it is supposed to be a safe caribbean island. My boyfriend and I are looking to get away in September and would like to go to the Caribbean (not Mexico). I have been looking into several destinations but can't really decide where the best place is. I have looked at Punta Cana, Jamaica, Aruba and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Many of these places looked great but when I read reviews there were a lot of negative aspects to each of these places- so here is my criteria for this vacation: All-Inclusive Good Food Beautiful Beach with clear water Fun activities for 20 somethings Modern rooms and amenities Pool "tourist friendly" area Budget Friendly- can afford up to $1500 total for 4 nights Can anyone recommend a place to stay that would fit most of this criteria moreResolved Question: All inclusive resorts?
My boyfriend and I are looking to go on vacation to an all inclusive resort for couples, we are going in august and want to book the flight and package together. My boyfriend and I want to go on an all inclusive in the beginning of October. We are trying to decide but there are so many places! We are pretty much ruling out Mexico due to the swine flu and other stuff going on there now. We just want to relax and have a romantic get away. I'm going on vacation on Wednesday and I haven't decided where I'm staying yet. I've read a lot of bad reviews of the Oasis, but it's mostly people complaining about people partying. That wouldn't be a problem, since I'm 20 and I plan on mostly just partying when I'm there, so which hotel would be better for that? I've heard that Oasis is the best party spot, but I don't want to go there if it's going to be really low quality. How does Riu Caribe compare in terms of party atmosphere? Are there other places I should consider? Is all inclusive worthwhile? Also my other option is to go to Aruba. moreResolved Question: Looking for a Caribbean destination for the first week of Nov?

Beginning planning vaca for 2010. Will me me, hub, daughter will be 15 then and maybe a cousin same age. Want to go on school break either around Thanksgiving, Christmas or spring, and somewhere WARM. What's important: clean place, prefer all-inclusive, nice sandy beaches, not that rocky shore like you see in parts of Mexico, water activities, small ticket shopping-souvenirs etc, not thru the roof expensive, family oriented place, not a wild banshee spring break place. What's not important: nightlife, spa services, room service, historical ruins, rum distilleries, hardcore hiking etc. Hub won't cruise--daughter and I just returned from our first cruise and loved it but now we need to plan a family vacation. I hear Hawaii is too expensive, Bahamas are for the rich also. Jamaica was nice for a day, wouldn't want to stay there longer. Liked Cozumel except for the rocky shore. Aruba is super windy. Don't know much about FL except for Orlando and Daytona. Suggestions? Thanks!Costa Rica man you sound like my brother! He's always trying to talk me into CR too. He goes and does all kinds of crazy hardcore outdoor stuff so I figured it was all swimming with gators and drinking beer and smoking weed there. No? There are nice beaches and family atmosphere?? moreResolved Question: Who has gone to the Caribbean on Vacation?

Would like something middle of the road as we can't afford the absolute best, but don't want roaches crawling in our bed at night. Suggestions please moreResolved Question: Caribbean Vacation/Travel Suggestions for Young Couple? First Timers..?
We're a young couple interested in going to the Caribbean for the first time in July or August, for about a week or so. We're budget concious but are happy spoiling ourselves if the reward is worth the expense. We're not much into the party scene anymore (been there done that, trust me!) so we're looking for something more on the notion of romantic and relaxing with a twist of fun or perhaps extreme sports. I have free flight credits from JetBlue so we're interested in using those and going to somewhere JetBlue flies: Aruba, The Bahamas (Nassau), Dominican Republic (Santiago, Santo Domingo), or Puerto Rico (San Juan, Aguadilla, Ponce). We do drink and can rack up some outstanding bar tabs so an all-inclusive may be a good idea for us but we have no real experience with that either. Any suggestions on where to travel to (island/country)? Or even more specific as to actual hotel/resort? Thank you! moreResolved Question: Great all inclusive vacation?
I've been to Riviera Maya and the Dominican Republic. I need another area.. maybe Jamaica or Aruba or any other island? Any ideas? Something that is moderately priced. Thanks! We want fun in the sun an a budget. Florida is out..like it but have been there more time than I can remember! We did Aruba last year for out honeymoon and loved it! Help...newlyweds on a buget need help! moreResolved Question: Caribbean vacation?
I am looking for some recommendations on places to vacation in the Caribbean. I know there are a ton of islands to choose from but I would like some recommendations from people that have been there. I am looking for the following: 1. Nice beaches that aren't too crowded (will be going in June of this year) 2. A place that offers other activities besides hanging out at the beach. (i.e. hiking, biking, cultural activities) 3. Something that is geared more towards couples. I have looked at Aruba, St. Lucia and Barbados. Aruba seems a little too 'resort' oriented but the beaches look really nice along with the turquoise water. I am also pondering Belize and wonder if anyone has been there. If you have any hotel recommendations that would be appreciated too. I am thinking about All-Inclusive but have heard some bad things about that. I like the fact that the drinks are included but I don't like the fact that we would be limited to eating at specific places. Thanks! moreResolved Question: Any advice on Aruba?
I have a choice of Riviera Maya or Aruba for vacation. I've been to Riviera Maya a few times and love it. I've never been to Aruba. My questions are: 1. Has anyone been to both and how do they compare? 2. What is a good place to stay? (I prefer tropical ambiance but not a stuffy "tea party" lol) 3. Are there any all-inclusives in Aruba? 4. How is the snorkeling (and where is it?) 5. How is the water off the beaches (aqua? is there snorkeling off beaches?) 6. What is there to do besides the beach? Thanks for any help you can give! moreResolved Question: Which vacation, Punta Cana, Aruba or Puerto Rico?
My boyfriend and I are planning a nice Caribbean vacation. We have heard many good things about the above spots. Which one is the best, from your opinion? We are going March 23rd for a week. We want a fairly economical, but still nice, all-inclusive vacation. We want a nice pool, beach, and maybe fun activities outside of the resort. What travel agent should we go through? The best deals I could find so far were through TNTVacations.com. Any other suggestions? Any tips? Thanks!! moreResolved Question: Any suggestions for a late May vacation in the Caribbean or Pacific Mexico?
I vacation every year in the Carribbean. So far, I have visited The Grand Caymans, Aruba, Cancun, Cozumel, Roatan, Belize, Isle Mujares, and Bermuda as well as Cabo San Lucus and Acapulco. I like to snorkle, explore, gamble, etc. I'm also a big all inclusive person. I was thinking maybe Mazatlan, Ixtapa, Zihuatanejo.. but it all seems the same as Acapulco.. Anyone got any suggestions? St. Maarten? Atlantis? Thanks~!I have been on a few cruises, but it sucks to be single on a cruise unless it's a singles meet and greet. The stops are great, but being stuck on a ship for 24-48 hours at a time gets old.. moreTop All Inclusive Vacation Aruba Links
