However, are parents are against cancun and want us to go to aruba. Is aruba more of a family spot? I just recently turned 20 and I really really really want to go on a vacation out of state but I don't have anyone to go with me. But I also want to go by myself anyway. So excluding what happened to the Aruba girl, should I make a trip by myself during my spring break or whenever I want to go?Yea I would tell my family everything im doing, but in general would it be ok, im not sure where i want to go but im leaning to somewhere in florida and im not sure when im going b/c i dont want to go on spring break with all the crazy pple but that time and summer our the only times i have to go, but that im not sure of b/c i work and i havnt been there not longer than 3 monthsMy mom is concerned about my safety. I want to travel cuz I have never really been anywhere before, so she made the point that I shouldnt go by myslef b/c 1. i havnt been there before, so if i ask someone something(like directions) they will take advantage of me, and 2. me being a 20 year old female, that I am an easy target? im going on a family vacation to aruba over spring break. we'll be there for 6 days and i have a feeling i'll get pretty tan. i would like to preserve my tan for as long as possible. anybody know any good ways to do it? i have my boyfriends prom in the middle of april; do you think i can make it last that long? (i have a white dress) im just looking for any good brands of aloe that preserve your tan REALLYY well, or any other methods to hold a nice tan. i dont plan on using fake tanner or visiting the tanning beds though more

Beginning planning vaca for 2010. Will me me, hub, daughter will be 15 then and maybe a cousin same age. Want to go on school break either around Thanksgiving, Christmas or spring, and somewhere WARM. What's important: clean place, prefer all-inclusive, nice sandy beaches, not that rocky shore like you see in parts of Mexico, water activities, small ticket shopping-souvenirs etc, not thru the roof expensive, family oriented place, not a wild banshee spring break place. What's not important: nightlife, spa services, room service, historical ruins, rum distilleries, hardcore hiking etc. Hub won't cruise--daughter and I just returned from our first cruise and loved it but now we need to plan a family vacation. I hear Hawaii is too expensive, Bahamas are for the rich also. Jamaica was nice for a day, wouldn't want to stay there longer. Liked Cozumel except for the rocky shore. Aruba is super windy. Don't know much about FL except for Orlando and Daytona. Suggestions? Thanks!Costa Rica man you sound like my brother! He's always trying to talk me into CR too. He goes and does all kinds of crazy hardcore outdoor stuff so I figured it was all swimming with gators and drinking beer and smoking weed there. No? There are nice beaches and family atmosphere?? more
