Everytime i see pictures of kids in aruba, they're flashing gang signs. i mean w.t.f. these people live in paradise...why are they trying to get "ghetto". people get killed in america every second behind crap like that. ain't "NO FUTURE" in it homie!!! more

Voting Question: Cannot view pictures/video on a disc? [PLEASE HELP!]?

I recently went scuba diving and the instructor took pictures/videos of the entire trip (at "Mi Dushi" in aruba, if you're wondering). At the end, they showed my group some of the pictures and then offered a copy of that disc for 30 bucks, which was delivered to your hotel room the next day. I bought it, since it was my first time scuba diving and all. Well, I just got home and I tried viewing the stuff on the CD but it didn't auto-start. When I try to go to the auto-start for the CD-ROM and press auto-play, nothing happens / comes up when I click on the CD-ROM icon. There's evidence that there's something burned ON the disc since it has a ring around the middle, but I can't view it on anything [DVD player, computer, xbox]! Am I doing something wrong or did I just get totally ripped off? ): Thanks! PS. I have Windows Vista. Is it possible that maybe the disc is not compatable with Vista or something? /: more

Resolved Question: I need help with my honeymoon!?

So, I want to go to Tahiti because of the clear, calm waters but there's no way we can afford it. So, I've made a list of other possibilities, Aruba, Bermuda, Barbados, Turks & Caicos, U.S. Virgin Islands, and the Bahamas. I just can't narrow it down even though I've looked at countless pictures and websites. I want to go to an island where the water is crystal clear and calm, and there is enough nightlife and day activities. If anyone has any personal experiences with any of the islands or any new ideas I would greatly appreciate it. I don't want to drop a few grand and be disappointed. It's hard to get a good idea from just looking at pics. No Jamaica, Mexico, or Hawaii!My honeymoon will be in November more

Resolved Question: why would my friend say she wants to get married?

One of my friends constantly talks about wanting to marry her boyfriend, whom she's been in a relationship with for about 2 years. Problem is that I have long suspected that she cheats on him. These suspicions were confirmed recently, after finding out about her being intimate with one of our groomsman from our wedding (she was a bridesmaid), as well as a night before that she was intimate with another guy who was there for the wedding. *We were all in Las Vegas for 4 days for my destination wedding on the 17th of this month.* After I got home from my honeymoon in Aruba, I spoke with her on the phone. I didn't bring the cheating info up with her, but she yapped on and on about how our wedding made her picture what her's will be like with her boyfriend. Apparently, he even moved in with her the day she got back from Las Vegas! I don't think it's my place to tell him what I know (as well as a lot of us know), but I just can't believe she talks about wanting him to propose to her!! We are all in our 30's, so it's not like we're teenagers, but she's taking the beauty of marriage and spitting all over it, I feel. What should I do? If you were me, would you say something to her...like let her know of her bad behavior? Would you let her boyfriend know what's going on? *Her bf didn't come to Las Vegas, because he had to work. She kept saying that b/c he wasn't going to be there that "what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas".EDIT: Sandy, I understand what you're saying. But...I know for a fact that they don't have any open relationship. When I was visiting her last Summer (she lives in a different state than me), she had one of her ex boyfriends over for drinks while I was there. He ended up staying the night with her. She said to me the next morning to not say anything to her current bf that he was even there. It put me in a really bad position, b/c then I had to see her kiss and hug her bf the next day, as if nothing had happened. more

My hair color is originally brown but I dyed my hair blond. I am starting to get sick of keeping up with dying my hair so I was going to let my hair grow out and be brown. But now I am going to Aruba in one month and I don't want to have bad looking pictures with half blond half brown hair. Should I dye my hair blond since it is mainly blond right now anyways?  more

And I can prove it with my experiment. I had the same profile on 3 dating websites and I described myself as a good person, caring honest, love kids, with a good job, masters degree, have a small car, and I was looking for my future wife out there and everything. I posted 4 pictures of me. I emailed 10 girls from each website.I wasn't getting any reply from them and the only ones that emailed me back were really really bad looking and kinda desperate. I got like only 3-4 replies in a month. Then I changed my profile description and I said that I was a professional photographer shooting models for the adult industry, was driving an SUV, had a luxurious house and were vacationing in Aruba, that I didn't like kids and overweight girls, that I wasn't looking for a relationship but just fun. My profile was sounding like a real a**hole but I left the exact same pictures on. I started to receive emails from 2-3 girls a day without even having to email them first. They were flirting with me. Some commented on my profile saying that it was very attractive and "manly". Now you would say: "No kidding sherlock your profile is more attractive plus now you are getting all those girls that just wanna play or a one night stand". See that's my point and here is where it becomes interesting. I went back and looked at all those girls profiles to see what were they saying they wanted form a guy. Guess what? They all, I mean ALL, said that they were looking for a long term relationship, they had kinds so they wanted somebody that loved kids, they all wanted a NICE GUY and they all wanted a family. What conclusion can you draw from this? The only one I could was that with girls its just a big blah blah...and no matter what you do or you are, they will always prefer Mr. Troublemaker to a nice guy. No matter what they say they want. I'm stopping believing what they say, and I should probably treat them like crap instead of being a gentleman. Thoughts? more

My neighbor, a girl my age, took a picture on her phone of a picture of me (yes, I know that's confusing) playing guitar in aruba without a shirt on. She then proceeded to send it on to a bunch of other people. I really don't mind because I like the picture, but maybe she did with a not-so-good picture, I'd imagine I would be pretty pis d off at her. I'm going to talk to her about it, but my real question is based on above, does she like me? By the way, she's very condecending (or however you spell it) and mean, she's not hot or anything, I would never want to go out with her.  more

please don't blame on me! this is my story. I went to the USA on the 27th of september i ented in Miami i was going to New York. They put a stamp on my passport on the green card (I-94W) but i saw they didnt put a date on it when i had to leave so i went back to the immigration officer and i asked him if this aint any problems he told me dont worry about it this form is for 3 months. So i went to my girlfriend i would have flight back to Aruba to my friends (Dutch lands) im a dutch citizen but than something happened close before that my uncle died so i had to make a nother flight to the netherlands. So i made photo copys of this forum not that i did it for this but i needed them for my visa application a J-1 Visa. And when i checkt the pictures it says 90days and i started counting and i count 3 times and it was dec 26th i had to leave. I figgerd this out when i was home and was reading this things for my visa application. So for the people who know am i in trouble? more

I have a dark complexion (mixed Colombian, Black & Tahitian) and dark coloring overall... similar skin color to Christina Milian... who always has a new color and always wear it soooo well! that you see in the Corona TV commercials? I've been to a few islands such as Aruba, St Maarten, Grand Cayman and even to Cancun but all the beaches I saw were so so, not picture perfect! Does a beach like that exist or is it only in movies and TV? more
