Rosario Dawson and Fergie: It's just criminal that she's making money to be on TV and she walks around thinking she's hot sh*t. EWW 2. Lucy Liu: Tila Tequila isn't that hot, but as an Asian girl, I have to say Tila looks wayyyy better than Lucy Liu and her slant eyes. Even Maggie Q is hotter. 3. Voting Question: How much public support is needed to force the President to pardon someone?

There was this 7 year old guy once who didn't have any food, hunger forced him to sneak into other people's houses to find food and that turned him to a criminal career. Now 12 years later he faces about 80 charges in 5 states + Bahamas and all that started when he didn't have enough food. The smartest thing to do would probably be to release him from prison and give him food stamps. All the crimes he committed, whatever their penal value, were either because he needed food or because he needed to escape the authorities. If he had food and didn't need to run he wouldn't commit any more crimes, so the best thing to do would be to pardon him. hi! just curious if anyone has any honeymoon ideas to share? where to go and things like that? we are getting married in la jolla california, we're from arizona, so I almost feel silly leaving a state that many people go to for their honeymoon but I just don't know what to do!! I am planning a trip to Bahamas with my wife to celebrate our first anniversary in Nov 2010. I would want to hear user's opinion about the mode of traveling to Bahamas. Also please suggest any ideas or experiences as we have a short 4 night trip. We are not good swimmers to scuba diving is out of option but we have done snorkeling in key west with life jackets. Resolved Question: 5th Avenue Vacations, Too Good To Be True Scam? Or Legit Vaca Opportunity for someone between jobs?

I got a call this morning telling me I won a trip from a drawing I entered. It's a 5 day 4 night stay at a hotel in the bahamas with all inclusive cruises to and from the island. They require you pay taxes and booking fees which equals to 89.99. Per person. Once you are there they basically only cover the hotel cost. You pay food, drink, activities. Which is really fine cause the cost of transportation and hotel alone add up quickly. Now what I want to know is how legit is this? I have read several reviews but most of them are from people in my same situation. Have the phone call, not paid the money and not yet taken the trip. Is there ANYONE that can tell me anything about this before I decide to dish out $90 and wait for information? (ps. there is also no physical address on their website) I have until August 25th to claim the trip. So please, help. Thank you! more

Resolved Question: Priceline.com and the Bahamas.....?

How realistic are the prices on priceline.com? Because I'm trying to plan a trip to the Atlantis resort in the Bahamas in the off season sometime. I looked on orbitz and travelocity and the cheapest flight/hotel deal I found on those was over $2,000 total for 2 people for 6 nights. Then I went on priceline.com and found a flight/hotel deal for the Reef Atlantis (which is a very expensive hotel usually) for only about $1500 total for 6 nights and 2 people. It sounds too good to be true to me, but then again, I don't know. If you have any experience with priceline.com, does this sound right? more

Resolved Question: How is my first chapter?

Here is chapter one.. Is it good? I believe it is, but i would like some advice, and i know its probably boring right now, but it gets better, keep in mind this is only the first chapter. My alarm rang, and my hand fumbled around to hit the Snooze. Every five minutes. I finally gave up and shuffled out of bed and down the stairs. “Smells good mom!” I exclaimed. Yum. Eggs, bacon, sausage, toast, biscuits and gravy. My sister Maddie walked down with her pajamas on and her hair in a messy bun. She is 13 years old. Four years younger than me. “How are you feeling?” My mom asked. “Horrible.” Maddie replied, making a face. Her boyfriend, now ex-boyfriend, had just broken up with her the day before. It was their three month anniversary. "He's a jerk." I mumbled. My mom looked at me in a funny way, silently laughed , smiled at me, and I heard her whisper, “Ohh my, Karlie. Silly goose..” "I know he's a jerk, but I really thought I liked him... and he just broke my heart like nothing," she sobbed “Hun," I began, "you're 13, not eighteen. "I know, but still! On our anniversary? That's just cruel!" "Want me to talk to him?" I offered, helping myself to a biscuit and some bacon. "Please?" I called Maddie’s ex-boyfriend, Mark, after I finished eating. When I asked him why he broke up with Maddie on their anniversary, he only said that he never called him for a week, she was annoying, and apparently stupid. I explained to Mark, that the week she never called him, was because we went on a cruise to the Bahamas, and we didn’t have any signal. I finally hung up with him, 20 minutes later. I told Maddie what Mark had told me, and she said she wasn’t surprised he’d say that, because that’s what he told her when he broke up with her. I took Maddie to the beach to get her mind of things. I changed into my neon green bikini, and put on my white cover-up, followed by my white flip-flops. I grabbed the beach bag and a couple towels. I was waiting for Maddie and my mom walked out into the living room. “ I’m glad you’re trying to get her mind of things. I would but I have all this stuff to do. I have to pay the taxes, the house bills, and everything on top of that. I still have checks I need to deposit. But we’re a little short on money.” My mom said flopping her body into the coach. “It’s no problem, and mom. If you want me to find a job, I can. I could babysit, or dog sit…Or whatever I need to do. It’s not a big deal.” I told my mom. “ Well…I don’t want you to have to worry about money at your age right now. But some extra money would be nice…” “ See? I’ll bring home some extra money. But promise I get to keep at least half of it?” “ Of course. It’s your money you’re working for.” “ I could work at the park. They have been getting a lot of visitors…Plus when Ally worked there, she said they paid a good money for watching kids be safe and picking up the trash after closing time.” Maddie walked down said she was ready to go. Mom handed me the keys and Maddie and I left. As she got into the passenger seat, she asked me what mom and I were talking about. I simply answered nothing that important. We got to the beach and we quickly saw that it wasn’t crowded. There were maybe 2 or 3 couples, 3 people with kids, and maybe 4 people alone. I set down the beach bag and we set out our towels. Maddie went down to the ocean while I stayed and tanned for a while. About twenty minutes later, I went down to my sister. “ Do you want a boogie board?” I asked her. “ Yes, please. The dolphin one.” “ Okay. I’ll be back.” I went back to the car and grabbed the boogie boards and headed back to the beach, but suddenly something caught my eye. A special someone. more

I know this probably sounds stupid but i honestly had no idea! I've never learnt about Black culture/the African Slave Trade. Us Brits don't learn alot about it in School. My best friends boyfriend is of a Jamaican decent (his Dad is Jamaican his Mum is white English) but yesterday he said "Well technically i'm African cause thats where Jamaicans etc orginally came from..." I always thought Jamaican people were always from Jamaica, like Barbadians were always from Barbados, so that took me off guard. I do know some stuff about the African Slave Trade, but didn't know they took people to the Islands to start off the main Black Culture (I know something about the Arawak people coming from South America first). So basically all Black people originally came from Africa but were taken to places like Jamaica, Barbados, Haiti, Bahamas etc? So why do Jamaican's hate African's then? x more

He was EVIL. almost as bad, if not worse than Hitler. here are some of the things he did. (i did not write all this i got it from a website) but its all FACTS. I. One of his crew members found the land that is known as the Bahamas, a prize was to be given to the person who found it, so Columbus said he found it and received the prize. II. He traded with the natives unfairly and shipped them all to Spain to be slaves. III. He exaggerated the amount of gold he found, when really there was very little. IV. Under his order natives were killed, raped & tortured if they didn't find enough gold. V. He tried to convert the natives. VI. He is convinced that he "discovered" land that people were already living on. VII. He literally destroyed a whole population ant it's culture, religion and traditions. VIII. The earth was already proven to be round, by an Egyptian Greek scientist. IX. He was greedy and he only voyaged for three things: Gold, Glory, and God. X. In his search for gold he killed many people and almost wiped out an entire civilization by himself. He did this for many reasons. One of course was for personal gain and the other was for Spain. If he did not get gold for Queen Isabella and King Ferdinand they would not finance Columbus' trip. Columbus had to pay the Queen and King back and he would do anything to do that. This need to repay his debt can be found in Columbus' diaries as he raced from one Caribbean island to the next, stealing anything of value and killing or capturing Native Americans. XI. He forced them to find gold where there was none, and if they did not find any Columbus would kill them. Columbus also forced the natives to become slaves, most of the natives died on their way to Spain. Columbus and his men threw the native's corpses over the side of the boat and into the ocean. The natives that did not become slaves worked on plantations or mines where they too would die from the hard working conditions. The natives did nothing to deserve these harsh conditions; they greeted the Europeans to their land with open arms. I do not understand the current defamation going on of Christopher Columbus in the United States. On wikipedia he is accused of killing "millions himself". And in many articles he is accused of indirectly being responsible for nearly wiping out the Native American populationno, he was evil. i read parts of his journal, and he wrote at how easy the indians were to fool, and that they welcomed him nicely. more

It led me back to an interview with Erin Andrews a year and a half ago. “Tim, you just got out of rehab last week. How was it or not how was it, but how have you changed as a person and a football player?” she asked me while we sitting in my living room, on two white chairs facing each other. “I can’t tell you how I’ve changed as a football player just because I haven’t played football since that last game in December. That game was two months ago and over these past two months rehab has really changed me. I learned how to deal with stuff and you know stuff like that. It taught me that I don’t need alcohol like I thought I needed it. I don’t feel the need to drink anymore. I guess that’s how I’ve changed.” “So your saying before you needed to drink?” “I mean obviously I felt the need to drink. I mean I came to games and practices hung over all the time. I would drink until four or five in the morning and then had to be a practice at like nine. That’s not enough time to let the alcohol pass through your system.” “Do you know why you felt like you needed alcohol?” “I don’t know. Um, I,” I paused, “I guess I felt like it was what I supposed to do. You know you see athletes and celebrities going out every night and drinking. Stuff like that made me think it was what was expected of me. Anything else about me being an alcoholic?” I asked sarcastically with a smirk. Erin smiled, “One more question. Do you regret the drinking or see as a learning experience?” “Both. You know it was a learning experience because I now know that I don’t need to drink. But at the same time, I regret it a lot. I watched the play-offs in rehab and I so wanted to be out there. You’re working hard your season to get there, but then I get suspended for the remainder of the season. It sucked watching and knowing that I wasn’t allowed to be there.” “In a way are you sort of happy that the Jets didn’t go to the Super Bowl without you?” “This is gonna sound selfish but yeah a little. I’m the quarterback and you’re looked at like the leader, so if they made without me I think I would look at like I’m not a good leader and they don’t need me.” “Okay, moving on. I think they’re extremely interesting. Growing up I loved going to the aquarium at the zoo. That was like my second favorite place to go other than the football field. My friends always made fun of me and called me Fish Boy. If I weren’t a football player, I would love to work at the aquarium at the zoo. The zoo here actually let me “adopt” a shark. I mean I can’t take it home or anything but, I thought that was awesome. They actually let me swim in there from time to time. It’s still one of my favorite places to go. I have two huge fish tanks in this house. One’s saltwater and the other one’s freshwater. I have sharks; well they aren’t like ten-foot long sharks. They’re sharks with the same structure as a shark so that’s what they’re called. The league told me ‘Do what you want, but coming to practice and games hung-over isn’t allowed. If you do it again, you’ll be suspended again until the problem’s fixed.’ I knew the only way to fix it was to go to rehab. It pretty much told the world what jerk I was, that I went out drinking and went to strip clubs every night, and that was cheating on her all the time. I’m ashamed to say that was true, and I’ve never been sorrier for hurting anyone in my life. There was one line of the song that said ‘you’re gonna catch a cold from the ice inside your soul’ and I guess that hit me really hard. I know why but it did. That and the fact that I had known Gabi since we were babies; we were best friends growing up and in college and when we both made it big. I know you get what you pay for, but I have done a lot of research on the three major cruise lines in the United States (Carnival, Norwegean, and Royal Caribbean), and have found many different and lukewarm opinions on all of them. I am trying to take my wife on a cruise to the Bahamas, (or anywhere really) for 4-7 days in late august to early september of this year, and I need to know the best cruise that anyone could recommend for first time cruisers in their mid 20's. We want it to be romantic, but have fun activities as well. PLEASE HELP! I have looked online and have found a Royal Caribbean 4 night cruise to the Bahamas with a military discount (active duty Army) for $580 for 2 in an oceanview room on the "Majesty of the Seas". Which I know is a really REALLY great price, but i dont want to be slumming it in a poorly built or renovation needed ship where we are worried about bad service and food poisoning. I think id rather pay a couple hundred more and know we will have a great time. My Dream: The Rage was on (Its a local event where the seas rise and is very rough) I'm from the Bahamas. It was the most intense ever seen by all. Two days later - dream time and at nights only the skies would darken with clouds and there would be lightening storms - no thunder. just forked lightening. Once or twice a night they would produce only after hitting the earth sparkling clouds beautiful and full of colorful lights that would move toward the dark calm sea and mist out. After a few days - dream time - the Rage would come in he Day - on the east of the island only the west stayed calm - and at night the storms would come. I had to pick up my brother in another town. When i got to the location he was not there.It was late afternoon So i sat in a school house talking and soon the storms came. The Instructor invited all to his home to ride out the storms until dawn. His house was high on a hill overlooking a valley and close to the sea. My brother joined me there. I didnt eat i sat watching out a window and one of the Forked strikes hit the valley area nearby. People moved outside to the balcony to see it. It made one of the clouds and out of it came a Water dragon - no wings, sleek with a dark body. It was looking at the clouds, it saw us and came towards me i ran in the house and it flew towards the dark clouds where three others flew back and forth. One of the girls said that the dragon was her lover and he took human form to see her she was crying because she wanted to be with him... A man stepped out claiming he was her dragon. it was clear she had never seen him before. I woke up ... Seriously folks im from the Bahamas why am i dreaming about water dragons? Lately I've seen a lot of presumably young (10-16) year old girls posting things like "does this celebrity drink or do drugs?" often times showing pictures of them drinking (why'd they need to ask?). I find this disturbing. Not just as a recovering heroin addict, but as a human being. I didn't go out and start shooting dope because I listened to a Lou Reed record. At the same time, I know plenty of fans of his who've never touched drugs. Why do girls want to know whether or not Justin Bieber or Selena Gomez do drugs? Now the problem with both of these are that the expense cost is way too much for what the trip is actually worth. They overcharged because the school is doing the trips through a planning company. So we were thinking of going on our own grad trip worth the money. Maybe a cruise to the bahamas or something. Our budget would be around $2000.00. Preferably lower, but that is as high as we are willing to go. We are pretty adventurous people so going zip lining or something somewhere would be pretty fun. Got any ideas for us? more

I have my first trip to the Bahamas Booked for August and i'm confused on currency. Some people have told me to trade in American Currency for Bahamas Currency, that my dollar will go further that way. Others tell me just use your regular money that every where in the Bahamas accepts it. I am so confused because what if I want to shop, do they take credit cards? American Cash, or Bahamas Cash? Okay I was recently invited on a trip to the Bahamas with family-problem is that I don't have a passport. These family members are offering to pay all expenses if I can get a passport, and so I ordered my passport expedited with overnight mail services June 28, 2010. (This past Monday). I know it takes 2-3 weeks for expedited services, but the flight leaves July 11, 2010 (less than ten days away :(((( unfortunately ) I'm just wondering if I there's a "magic number" LOL that I could call to talk to the person personally working with my passport. We were planning on getting married in Nassau this winter. With the oil spill we are now trying to find another location. We are worried that we are going to get there and there will be oil all over the beach and we will not be able to dive and swim at all. We have been there the past few years and enjoy these activities as our Christmas presents to each other. We were considering Hawaii because of the variety of cheaper hotels, but nobody would be able to afford to fly that far in our families. We are on the eastern part of the U.S. and tickets to Hawaii are more than double what they are to Nassau. We really would like a destination wedding where people speak English at a resort that offers wedding packages. We liked the resort in the Bahamas because we had to do not planning at all. We plan on having a group of about 15-25 with us. We are unsure of the exact numbers, but we are running out of time to plan this. We do not want it to cost too much for our guests because nobody has a ton of money right now. Any suggestions for as far as locations go? We really had or hearts set on Nassau but do not want to just sit and watch oil and dead fish wash up on the shore all week. Help please!Please give me serious answers. Popular tourist attractions dismayed him, frankly because he disliked crowds of people who came to see the overly pleasant, mostly fictional side of the world without bothering to change anything in the brutal remainder of the rest of it. And yet, he had coarsely been dragged on some sort of preposterous voyage, a preposterous voyage of time better spent doing just about anything else. A trip of pleasure to a human-filled island of false and temporary paradise overcast by the prospect of some cheery tourist gathering on the northern face of the resort that evening at midnight. It was not at all to his liking. Of course, it had been his own family that had forced him at gun point to use the cheap palm tree bespectacled ticket for bliss he had received in the mail one rainy afternoon a month before. He snorted righteously. Of course, if his family had known him at all, they might have suggested he take a vacationing trip to his local homeless shelter to help fund winter boarding or something useful instead. Hi I'm 14 and im black but I'm not an African American im from Islander descent (Bahamas and Jamaica). Has a side dream (My other dream is to actually find a cure for HIV/AIDS to help africans although i need help finding out exactly what job does that)I always wanted to be a famous r&b singer and sing nice positive, uplifting songs and dance but dress appropriately and be a positive influence. But recently I started giving up on this dream because this year i keep hearing people say in order for you to ever be famous like Beyonce and Rihanna you need to have certain features like light skin, thinner nose, etc. Now I am dark skinned( like Gabrielle Union and Kelly Rowland), have a flat little button nose that isnt wide with a nose bridge that isn't very noticeable, full lips, kinky-curly hair, a baby face. People keep saying that I'm cute and pretty but now I have low self esteem because of it and I never had this problem until last year September. Now I'm disappointed because it seems like I don't have the same opportunities as people who have these features. So I ask this question because I was curious what others think about this. I weigh 121 pounds and my height is 5"3. My thighs are huge around the part where your "private part is". I have a tiny bit of fat in my lower stomach under my belly button. I play softball and field hockey and i usually have about 3 practices each week for the summer when i play in my league and every day when i play for my school. I still don't lose that body fat and i'm going to the Bahamas in a week and a half and i want to look good and a little skinner in my thighs and stomach around people. I hate going to the pool because my thighs are fat and it's embarrassing how they jiggle all the time when i walk and run. i got few reason why i am always negative every time i am trying new things. First off, i have an learning disability. It start off when i was a little girl. i didn't start talking until i was almost five years old. my mom and my dad didn't have time for me. they sent me to the bahamas when i was 2 years old to live with my mom relative which it was my grandma, aunts, and uncle. I was shelter so much that i didn't get the oppuntunity to be around other kids and get to understand human behavior. So, when i was 8 years old, when i would do any activity with my cousins that came from the bahamas every summer and when i would try to do an activity, they would say " you can't do it". Then when was in chorus as an elective in 6 th grade, kids would make of how i would move my lips to sing. My mom don't have patient with me of teaching thing to me. When i don't understand something, she would get frustrated. She doesn't spend much time with me and she feels that longer she provides for me, i would be fine. Being shelter from when i was a little girl affect how to be positive and have faith even though i go to church. I turn 20 today and it bothers me until this day.
