How realistic are the prices on priceline.com? Because I'm trying to plan a trip to the Atlantis resort in the Bahamas in the off season sometime. I looked on orbitz and travelocity and the cheapest flight/hotel deal I found on those was over $2,000 total for 2 people for 6 nights. Then I went on priceline.com and found a flight/hotel deal for the Reef Atlantis (which is a very expensive hotel usually) for only about $1500 total for 6 nights and 2 people. It sounds too good to be true to me, but then again, I don't know. If you have any experience with priceline.com, does this sound right? more

My family is going on a cruise in November and we will be spending some time docked in Freeport Bahamas, Nassau Bahamas, and Key West Florida. Amount of time spent in each place: *Nassau-7:00 am-6:00 pm *Freeport-8:00 am-4:00 pm *Key West-8:00 am-Midnight We are planning on going to the Atlantis water park in Nassau, but what should we do in that amount of time in Key West and Freeport? Hi! In a couple of weeks I am going to the Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas, and I am twelve years old. I was on the website and saw that there is a teen night club for ages 13-17. Before the night club, from 4-6 PM there is a kids club for ages 4-12. Now seriously, I'de much rather be in a night club with thirteen and fourteen year olds, rather than four year olds. Hypothetically... If you started out from Florida (Pompano Beach) and started heading to Paradise Island (Atlantis Marina), stopping in Freeport to refuel (will i need to (vessel information below)), how would you cross the Gulf stream so it doesn't knock you too much off course. I would like to stay well away from the 7 foot deep Bimini Shoal. The vessel is an Horizon 84' Elegance. Will i have to go through customs at Paradise Island or at Freeport? There is also a 9mm pistol in the ships safe (biometric lock). When should I leave so I arrive midday at Atlantis. This is a first time trip for me. more

Okay, I am going to cancun in 2 weeks and I want to make sure I DO NOT BURN AT ALL THERE. I was planning on bringing like sph 30 or maybe even something higher. I don't burn easily here in Jersey or when I am DTS (down the shore) but this is Mexico and all I want is a dark tan and no sunburn at all! Also, I went to Atlantis at Bahamas and I did end up burning on the 2nd to last day because I totally forgot to put sunscreen on, but I think that might have been the only reason. So please help me! P.S I will NOT use oil, to get that dark tan. That is a bad idea in Mexico! more

I got my bellybutton pierced two years ago. Now the piercing has migrated to the front and its about to rip the skin. I took the piercing out today and i plan on getting it re-pierced in two weeks. Is it okay that im going to atlantis in the Bahamas two weeks after i get it pierced again?I know everyone is going to say its too short of time to wait to get it re-pierced but the piercer said they could pierce it the day i take out the old piercing. since the first was was pierced too shallow, their going to pierce behind it. more

I'm traveling to Paradise Island & Nassau with 3 teenagers in the next two weeks and would like to know if anyone has suggestions for places to eat that won't break the bank. I've already heard that the restaurants at Atlantis are extremely expensive so I will avoid those. I have been going to Atlantis in the Bahamas with my family for several years. I have enjoyed the nightlife as a teenager in club rush. The issue is, I recently turned eighteen and am no longer allowed in club rush. My option is to go to Club Aura, which is much more expensive. I also worry that it will be filled with older (20-30) people, that I won't be able to approach and socialize with. I would like to go to Club Rush, but won't be allowed in. My question is what is my best bet to find 17-18-19 year old Americans around Atlantis. Where do they hang out? Is attempting to plead my case to get into Club Rush my best bet? Resolved Question: Severe Hypochondria. Stepped on Something Sharp. Help?

Please note that i suffer from hypochondria. I am on vacation in Atlantis, Bahamas and last night i was walking back to my hotel room. I was wearing loafers and all of a sudden i felt a sharp prick in the bottom of my foot. I looked around the floor as i was walking away and didnt see anything. When i got back to the room, however, there was a puncture mark on the bottom of my foot with a little blood on it. I squeezed it an a small amount came out. It felt and still feels rough on the top of the wound. I went back out into the hall and still did not see anything. My foot hurt in the general area of the wound for the rest of the night and early this morning. I have two questions: 1) What do you think could have caused this? 2) Should I be worried? more
