Open Question: Does taking photographs of children on a beach?

automatically make you a peodophile? I understand that children need to be kept on a very tight leash and wierdos and peods are out there but did this man need to be arrested? I used to work with children and did so for 18 years. I now can't help myself when I am out and if a child approaches me in a cafe or park or bus and talks to me, I talk back to them. Anybody who works with children will understand that genuine people are just not meaning any harm. I once had to ask a man in a museaum to stop photographing the 9 group of children I had in my charge from a holiday playscheme because I was not their parents, but his answer was that he thought they looked sweet with their matching baseball caps and badges, and rucksacks and just took a photo. I felt a bit bad because after all there was no harm done. I have many times seen children out enjoying themselves on holiday but I did not photograph them because of the way society sees things, but is there any harm in photos of children with swim wear on making sandcastles? Are we taking things our of perspective? The last school I worked for would not allow photographs to be taken on a school swimming tournament for the end of term because they children were in swim wear! Isn't it all getting a bit too much now? Can't anybody accept that showing an interest in children (as I do all the time by talkintg to them when I am out) doesn't mean that everybody is a peodophile? Obviously my first question was deemed a concern by the powers that be on this site for it never made it to the main board so hopefully it will now: Why are kids on here so much? I don't mind but find it astounding how frequently kids linger on here (as well as other areas of the net) so frequently during the day. I couldn't pay my kids enough to stay indoors all day to sit around on the computer. Why are parents allowing their children so much time on here? Is it just me or should be beautiful summer days be spent with the kids getting plenty of exercise having a good time outside? *By the way, most days we are at the beach or park or the backyard or football practice while I am on here taking a breather from my studies while my kids are enjoying themselves. How do I say: Hello Madame Marsolais! I had a good summer overall. I hope you did too! During the summer I went to San Fransisco for a few days... It is so big! There are so many different people and so many places to visit there and I especially loved the shops they had! I got to see the Golden Gate bridge in person as well too. Another thing I did over summer was go to the movies with my boyfriend. The last movie I watched with him was "The Other Guys". It was very funny. I also went to the Del Mar Fair and Orange County with him and my family. I smelled like animal poop but my favorite part was the petting zoo anyways. I loved the view from the top of the ferris wheel! It was BEAUTIFUL! My family and I also went to San Diego to visit several museums in Balboa Park and relax on the beach. We enjoy going to San Diego whenever we get a chance since this is where we are originally from. I also spent 4 days at Soka University for cheer camp. This was stressful at times but also very fun. There's this girl, we've been firends since we were like 10. Well now were both 14. Were both single. Her little brothers and my little brother hang out all the time and start stuff between us. Open Question: What races do you want to see on the 2011 IndyCar schedule?

It looks like 14 races are set for next year, 12 of them returning from 2010, the 12 being Long Beach, Sao Paulo, Indy, Texas, Edmonton, Barber, Mid Ohio, Infineon, St. Pete, Toronto, Kentucky, and Iowa. It looks like Homestead, Watkins Glen, and Kansas will not be returning, but Chicagoland looks like it will be back. Add in Baltimore and New Hampshire leaves room for about 3 or 4 more races for Randy Bernard's target number of 17 or 18 for 2011. What races would you put on the schedule? P.S. My idea trade out Mid Ohio for Cleveland, but still give the Honda America plant workers the benefits they have for Mid Ohio now (free tickets, parking, etc.), and bring everything to a better location with a better race. What do you think of that too? more

Open Question: Where can I find a military code of conduct that deals with enlisted soldiers actions while off duty in the US?

First and foremost- I respect and admire all members of our military. I have two enlisted servicemen living below me. It is a 13 unit apartment complex (Small). They have been having parties on weekdays from approx. 11 p.m. to 5 a.m.. They are pumping bass and it rattles the items on our shelves, and smoke cigarettes in the courtyard and parking area- keeping everyone awake. I am easy going and live near the beach, so I am used to more than usual noise levels. Their parties have crossed the line into criminal disturbing the peace. Background: *I asked them to turn the bass down the first time I heard it.- They did. *They had another party a few weeks later, and I went down again to ask them to turn it down.- They did reluctantly. *They had a third party and I told them to turn down the music or I would call the police- about 3:30 a.m. on a Thursday. They continued playing music loudly, and said "Let him call the police." *The next morning I went down I told them I would call the police if they did it again. *It is about three weeks later now, and they are pumping the loud music again. (Although not all through the night- however still disturbing the peace) I do not want to call the police on servicemen who are celebrating, however I know (Or think I know) that servicemen are supposed to follow the laws in America and not shine a negative light on the armed forces. I am thinking of finding the policy that states that servicemen/women are to follow the laws of the land and respect citizens rights then bringing it to them with a final warning; "If it happens again I will complain to your CO." On another note: I do work with Congressmen, Senators, other elected officials, military, and media. It would be easy to get a complaint to the right people, however- I don't wish to escalate the situation. Any suggestions?How about the Uniform Code of Military Justice? Ok, back round Information: I'm 16, male, blond hair (much like my avatar), green eyes, i'm really skinny because I don't eat enough(I usually wear 1 shirt and 2 sweaters), i'm shy, don't like big groups of people, avoid people altogether, have lived in foster homes all my life, and have no friends because i'm gay. When I go to school I am always bullied by the "popular group" of kids. They are all older than me and all over power me. There is about 7 kids in this group. They target me because i'm gay and and a loner. They trip me, steal my stuff, spit on me, call me names, kick me, etc. I usually ate my lunch in the bathroom. I can remember some days sitting on the school toilets, silently crying. All I wanted was for these kids to leave me alone. I hate going to school, I don't have one god damn friend in the whole school. No one will even try to befriend me, it's like i'm a vial of poison and all I do is poison the school. My foster parents aren't no better. They are drunks, they call me moronic, and a waste of life, and only want me for the money they get every month. I have 3 sets of cloths which is one of the things that i am made fun of, for "wearing rags" So, I was getting really depressed. I started to self harm, I started underage smoking, I even started drinking. I usually spent my nights sleeping in a abandon parking lot near my foster house because I didn't want to go home to my foster parents drinking and constant abuse. But then a miracle happened. A member of the "popular group" added me on fb, started talking to me at after school, he was being my friend. He told me that he was gay- and I promised I wouldn't tell anyone. And the "popular kids" we leaving me alone! after a couple weeks of him befriend me, (and we were getting to know each other allot), he asked me if I would like to date, but keep it secret from the school. Of course I fell for the trap. I don't know why I did, but I have never had a friend before. I was just so happy that day. A month went by of dating, but keeping it secret from the school population, but we still hadn't kissed. But we watched movies, went out to eat, lots of stuff like that. I was so happy: I stooped my self harm, I stooped smoking, stooped drinking, my world was turned upside down. Some night when his parents we out, he let me stay the night at his house, so I wouldn't have to go to my foster home, Be I always slept on a different bed, and we never did anything sexual. We just watched movies and listened to the radio. Then after a month of dating, he sent me a text(with the phone he bought me for my birthday), and told me to meet him at the beach. He said he really missed me and just wanted to see my face. So I went to the beach (it was around 11:00pm, on a school night. Which I found odd), and when I got there, I saw all seven of the kids from the popular group, all grinning, laughing. I looked at the boy who I though loved me and said, "what is this" and then they all laugh, push me to the ground, kicked sand at me, took turns spitting in my eyes, while saying things like "hahaha, I can't believe you believe me, you homo, haha what a fag!!" Finally they let me stand up, they we all still laughing. Tears were running down my face and onto my shirt, I screamed through my tears "How could you do this do me" I tried to slap him, but they just pushed me down to the ground and kicked me, while laughing. It was all a joke, and they were all in on it. I don't know what to do anymore, the one person in my entire life who I ever thought wanted to be my friend, actually loved me, like me for me, but it was all a joke, a play, a cruel, mean, joke. I just don't want to live, I cut myself earlier for the first time sense this boy started befriending me, and I cut deep, it bled for 10 minutes and I made no attempt to stop it. He sent me a hate full message on face book, then blocked/deleted me. This all happened about 2 and a half months ago, I cried myself to sleep for weeks. I thought I loved him, I thought he loved ME. I want to kill myself, It's been 2 months and i'm still so so depressed. My foster parents don't care, I have no friends to talk to it about, i'm lost....Why do I deserve this....I need advice. For the first deal I probably wouldn't go to Sea World so that means each deal only has 2 parks each... Which deal has the better parks? I haven't been to any since I was little so I can't remember them at all... apart from Sea World and I have been to so many equivalents to them. Or is it worth it to splash out the extra money to go to all four parks? We only have 9 days and we want to go shopping and go to the beach as well (16 year olds) with limited money and only want to do the extra money if it is really, really worth it to do both more

My dumb parents make them stay outside from 10 am to 8 pm and then they put them in a hot garage in a cage with water, but no proper bedding. They have to sleep on wood that my dad calls a "bed" and the garage wasn't cleaned at all before we got them. They didn't even get rid of the tools, sharp knives, cleaning supplies, chemicals like bug killers, or anything. My mom's car takes up most of the room in there and she doesn't want to move her car outside instead of in the dog's garage. My mom hates dogs and my brother is just addicted to World of Warcraft so he really doesn't care about them so it's only me and my dad who actually take care of them. They haven't visited the vet in months and we never even take them for walks, take them to the dog park, take them to the beach, or anywhere. My mom says that they can have fun in the backyard. I know it's wrong and they're even just small labrador puppies but my parents don't want them inside of the house and they don't even give them a bed. I really do know it's wrong so I just need some help on convincing them to change a few things... more

Hello, Well i need abit of help! My son is 5 but quite well advanced for his age, anyway the thing is at school his friends mothers always tell him that he can play with their sons on the weekend and they always make plans to go to the park with us or to the beach, but when the weekend comes they always ring and say something like 'oh their kids farther has come to visit' or 'we have made other plans sorry'. My son is always disappointed so here is the problem, he comes up to me on the weekends and gets angry 'why dont you let my friends see me! He yells or 'their mothers promised me we could go somewhere this weekend so mummy its your falt we arnt going cos you will not go to their house. or something to that effect. Ive tryed explaining to my son the parents always back out on him and that there is nothing i can do but he just gets angry and says' mummy just ring the lady! We get in fights and he ends up saying ' i don't like you mummy cos you don't let me play with them. I just don't know how to handle it anymore, i get angry when my son treats me this way and end up saying ' well its your friends dumb mothers who cant keep a darn date! How do i handle this issue? Im sick of my son being angry at ME because of the fact other parents cant get it together. Resolved Question: Is this a good idea for my Sweet Sixteen Party?

My 16th Birthday is in a bit over 2 weeks, and i had a really awesome idea for a party! I already asked my mother if my party was expensive if it was a problem. She said it shouldn't be. I no longer live in Florida, (I live in the EU) but my mother said that i could fly with all of the friends i wanted to invite to florida for the party. I want to invite 6 of my very good friends from the EU, And 2 friends from the UK and 4 friends from New York and Chicago and probably 10 friends from Florida (I think that they all should get along well, since they all speak English fluently, along with German and French, which my friends from the US cannot understand). This is the full Plan: My 6 friends and I will fly from part of the EU ( I am not saying where) to the UK, to pick up my 2 friends from there, then the 9 of us will fly to New York, where my friend from Chicago will be at the Airport there in New York, where i will meet my 3 friends from New York, also. Then the 13 of us will fly to Miami, Florida, and there we will be met by a Limo, driving us directly to Universal Studios Orlando, where we will meet my Parents (relatives and Family Friends also), and We will all stay at the Hard Rock Hotel. My friends and I will be staying in the Graceland Suite, and my Parents and Relatives will stay in the King Suite, where there are 3 connection rooms. We will arrive around 6 PM, at the Hotel, Where we will get ready and go to a Birthday Dinner for me. The Next day we will go to The Universal Park. The Following day, We will go to the Islands of Adventure Park. Each day we will go to City Walk after the Park. The Following day we will go to Sea World, and Then the Next day Aquatica, (Aquatica is a sea world water park). (I don't know yet if we will do this or not but maybe. . . (the following)) We will the next ay go to Disney World, The day after Typhoon Lagoon, and the Last day Blizzard Beach. We will travel back to the EU the same way as we came accept for its backwards. I've been wanting to move out of Philadelphia for some time already, but don't really know where to go to. All I know is that I prefer a smaller city with an excellent school district, low crime rate, plenty of space for my kids to run around like local parks (playgrounds) and it wouldn't hurt if the beach was no more than a three hour drive. I will like to stay in the eastern part of the US, but I don't want to relocate to Florida. I also don't want to go further north because it gets too cold. Has anyone lived or is living in any place similar? I would like to know. Also, if possible I would like a place that's affordable and has big homes. (I have 6 boys and a baby girl).Once I have an idea of where we want to go, we'll start looking for work. The plan is, whichever finds work first (me or hubby), will head out first to establish a place of residence, etc. You are correct though. Voting Question: 2 part question for leopard geckos diet and handling?

I have two questions. First, the diet part. Now everyone considers leopard gecko's insectivorous, which I found to be not to accurate since they commonly eat pinky mice. That said, since they obviously don't stick to a strict insect diet, what about fruit and veggies? Now bearded dragons are lizards not geckos, but they share the same build, and I know you can feed them lettuce, fruit and such. I was wondering if that would be ok for leopard gecko's? Second question, handling leopard gecko's outdoors. I know a few people who own leopard geckos and bearded dragons and frequently bring them wherever they go. Beach, friends house, to the park, etc. Is there any risks associated with bringing them to places like that?In the wild Lizards have been known to eat other lizards, or anything they can fit inside there mouth, If I say I'm a carnivore and on occasions I eat an apple, guess what, I'm not a carnivore, it might seem safer to keep them on a strict insect diet, but that's not what I'm asking now is it more

We are heading to Galveston for the weekend and I was just wondering which beach is best for a family. We haven't been in years and last time we went we just parked on the sea wall and swam. But we didn't think about things like bathrooms and showers. We ended up having to walk forever to find a bathroom.
