I was driving down a road going the speed limit, when I came upon a pack of cars going slower then the limit. I came up behind a car, and then I changed lanes using my turn signal to the left lane and tried to pass and when I saw that I could not, I switched back to the right lane again using my turn signal and then began to decelerate. Well, right when I was decelerating a cop pulls up behind me and pulls me over. He says I was driving aggressively, cutting in and out of traffic and following too close, so he writes me a ticket for following too closely. I was probably following too closely, but it wasn't any closer then a car length, and the only reason I was is because they were going slower then I expected and I was trying to pass. I don't tailgate and don't like it when people do it to me, so I don't do it, which is why I was decelerating when I saw I could not pass. Anyway I'm not trying to beat the ticket, because I know I probably can't. I also know I was probably too close. But I want to know if there is any way I can get it reduced or something, so I don't have to deal with my insurance. I have been driving for 6 years, and I have never had an accident. I had 1 minor speeding ticket 4 years ago and took a safe driving class for it. I also had a stop sign violation about 9 months ago that I payed. I live in Virginia beach. I am a doctor & leaving for Turkey as a Single Traveller..... Need a real unwinding trip... Never been to Turkey before... Have 10-12 days and would like to visit atleast 3 beach resorts... charming beaches, good bars, belly dancing (have heard a lot of this) night life, fun, girls (yeah... docs too have a heart.... topless will have additional points)... Dont mind even if place is crowded with either Brits, Germans or Russians (Love Them All).... Where should i go..... My picks are Antalya, Marmaris, Bodrum, Kusadasi etc... But any other suggestion is welcomed... If you Suggest Marmaris the please explain which part of Marmaris (oludeniz, icmeler, fethiye, marmaris) and why that part??? Resolved Question: I never seen a ghost. I tried going to the supposedly haunted places at the afternoon, but didn't see one. Why?

Sadly, I have never seen a ghost in my life. I lives in Fort Walton Beach, and I been to the temple mound, where they said it was supposedly haunted, and I drove on Hughes Street where it supposed to be a ghost on the side of the road of a 7 years old girl who was shuffling her feet or sleepwalking as read on GhostofAmerica online. You can do a research for that and see that in Google. I went to both places in the afternoon or early evening and never found anything there. Why is I'm not seeing anything what people and eyes witnesses as on television did? I'm sad because I never seen one and I don't know if I would ever see one. Since, I have taken a new interest in poems, and improved on my philosophy from last year. As you said, “How dose he know”, of your perspective. Which gave me more motivation of direction I want to go in me life. In turn, I will need to consider this quote if I’m going opening my theories to society’s perception. The summer of 2010 was one of my busiest summers I ever had, due to the constant subjective actives from my dad. In turn took me places on a California beach from sunrise to sunset with out any sun protection such as Sunscreen SPF30. The thought of the chance of getting any type of cancer from me being exposed to the sun, or the threat that it was shark season didn’t stop me from having fun as a teen. Due to the ability that I have to control most of my fear. The most priceless and valuable monument was building 5x5 perimeter sand castle with my dad. Then as I watch the ocean waves help my little bother Conner destroy the 3 hour work of art. I was reminded that there was an end to this fun summer and I need to get prepared mentally for my junior year of high school. The witnessing “soon to be famous” Golf Club inventor make it to the top as he developed it from start to finish, from raw material to marketing. Presenting it to the market place to “change the game of golf as we know it” form the beginners to the big guys. My summer ended with my father at the D-backs game. Voting Question: My horse won't walk on sand.?

I just bought an 11 year old grey OTTB (calm as can be). He came from California and now is at a barn in Va, which happens to be on the water (well, a considerable ways away from it). His previous owner used him as a trail horse and there are a pics of him walking on a sandy beach. But the other day, I took him to the beach down the road and he REFUSED to walk on the sand. We had another calm, experienced horse infront of us. He still refused. I had to dismount and lead him on there. Even then he was anxious. He also flat out REFUSES to walk in the water. The most I got him to do was put his front left in so the waves gently touched his hoof. He needs to get into the water to work on muscle build up. When he was in high school, he tortured and killed a neighbor's dog because it would not stop barking. In 1972, he lived in Minnesota with his adoptive parents. When his father's dog scratched his pickup truck with its claws, he shot both his mother and his father to death. Then he grabbed the dog, tied it to a tree, tortured it and shot it, and left it hanging there. He showed no remorse for these murders, and told a friend that killing people was not that exciting, or just not that big of a deal to him. He was convicted and spent eleven years in prison for the murders of his parents. When he was arrested for the murders, he told the police officer "I will remember you when we meet again." Hittle had also threatened the lives of police officers on at least two other occasions. He was convicted of his parent's murders in 1973 and sentenced to thirty years in prison. He was not exactly a model prisoner. He was charged with possession of a deadly weapon, possession of contraband and drug paraphernalia (three times), disobeying a direct order (twice), interfering with a shakedown, possession of marijuana, interfering with a correctional officer, disorderly conduct, inciting other inmates to riot, destruction of property, arson, use of intoxicants, and assault. Incredibly, despite all of this, he was paroled in 1984 after serving only eleven years. Hittle abused his first wife terribly. On one occasion, he was drunk and she refused to give him his car keys, so he pointed a loaded shotgun at her, then struck her one-year old daughter in the face. He liked to abuse the little girl as well. Once he gave her a doll, then one day took it away from her and tied it over her playpen in a hangman's noose. He also taunted his wife with the fact that he was committing adultery. When she became upset, he beat her and choked her almost to death after bringing in the little girl to watch the abuse. His second wife fared no better. He routinely beat her, and when she was nine months pregnant, deliberately kicked her hard in the stomach. During their wedding shower, he struck her when she didn't clean up a mess she had made. He also struck her baby daughter across the face and refused to support them — he would rather spend his income on alcohol. On November 15, 1989, Hittle was speeding, and Garland police officer Gerald Walker stopped him. When Walker stepped up to Hittle's pickup truck, Hittle shot him in the chest with a shotgun at point-blank range. Hittle then drove to the home of Mary Goss, his drug dealer. With nothing to lose now, Hittle kicked in the door and murdered everyone in the house — Goss, Richard Cook Jr., Raymond Gregg, and even Goss's 4-year-old daughter, Christy Condon. He had to reload in order to murder the terrified little girl. He did not know that Officer Walker had radioed in his license plate number, and when police gave chase, he ran his truck off the road and wrecked it, then began shooting at the police until he ran out of ammunition. A jury convicted Hittle of capital murder in the killing of Officer Walker. He was not tried for the other four murders. Dallas Assistant District Attorney Toby Shook said that Hittle was "Obviously a very violent, vicious human being," and another prosecutor, Andy Beach, added "A poster boy for the death penalty. He is the classic sociopath." The State of Texas executed Daniel Joe Hittle by lethal injection on December 6, 2000. Hiya, so I've been really into literature for as long as I remember. I consider myself to be mediocre at writing; nowhere near the best. If you could, please just tell me what you think of this little excerpt from the story I'm writing. Thanks :D There happens to reside a world inside each of our minds, it can be a truly beautiful place. One filled with trees that seem to pass the clouds, and rays of light that dance across the sea of grass that tries so hard to reach the sandy beaches. Yet, just as it can be beautiful, it can be a truly horrible place. This world feeds off of our dreams; our hopes; our fears. If we are overtaken by one, the world will reflect it. We can find solitude here and just as easily, we can find loneliness. "This is my world." The words gently released themselves from the boy's lips. He stared at the broken ground, as if he was looking for a way to fix what had happened. "If I am the only one in this world, does that make me the god of it?" He stood atop a hill that overlooked the fragile world only he could see. It was wrought with destruction, much like the life he tried so hard to forget. A collapsed city spanned the edges of his view. There was not a single building that stood proudly above the shattered streets. The ground around the boy was cracked, and void of anything alive. Street lights misshapen, and fallen, lie on the ground atop a disheveled road. A dim light shone from the rather sad sky, revealing even more of this broken existence. i'll try to make this very brief, I had been in my apt for a few weeks just kinda depressed you could say, more bored than depressed....so i live in these apts in holland michigan and the maintence guy here who has always been so nice, said "hey when I get out of work would you want to go for a quick beer?" I thought about it for a moment and thought ok? I haven't been out and he works here, how harmless could he be.... well he picked me up and started driving away from the little bar right up the street from the apts....he said no your to good for that...and oh every and i mean every 3-5 minutes he kept repeating "omg your so beautiful" "good your so beautiful" well guys for further information, once is enough more than that we feel very uncomfortable. I thought maybe he was just nervous. I had no feeling for him at all except as maybe a friend..... well he said we were driving to the beach "grand haven" which is only about 25 minutes from my apt, and he made a stop at a gas station he came out with a 12 pack, my eyes about fell out of my head....i said what are you doing...he was just like "have one" yada yada which I replied "i don't drink and drive" he still kept on with all the un-easy compliments and his very over-bearing personality, and at this point i had no idea where we were since he of course took all back roads... he drank those beers all 12 with in 15 minutes i swear..... so we get to this place in grand haven called "tip a few" he then ordered more beer, by the picture" so yes I did have a few beers in those small glasses which they give you with those pictures...he drank 4 more then getting nervous i stopped drinking, and i was amazed i have never ever seen someone drink a beer in one gulp, the whole fricken glass.....i was worried but not so worried because he wasn't acting that drunk.... then we ordered dinner and i thought great this will sober him up......still going on with the compliments then besides "oh your so beautiful, oh elizabeth i'd love to just spend the night with you i don't even have to have sex with you i just want to smell you all nite.....i mean over and over....in fact i told him to shut up nicely over and over!!!! I told him he was making me really uncomfortable..... so we start driving home from grand haven (the beach) all 60 miles an hour and it's getting dusk out and the roads were windy and just really dangerous besides the fact that he's going into head on traffic and over to the shoulder, i screamed for him to pull over he wouldn't i said i have to pee...so he gets out on the shoulder and he starts peeing right on the shoulder, right in front of the truck..... so i get in the passenger seat lock the doors...i am trying like hell to pull the seat up, it fricken wouldn't go up, it is one of those old stick shifts and my fricken feet wouldn't reach the peddles, i'm only 5'3 gosh i was so pissed i was crying. i let him back in and he doesn't even acknowledge why i'm crying...i beg him lets just call someone...and he's like no where just a couple of minutes from holland so i got back in like a jerk, i didn't have anyone to call not anyone, my family all lives either in vegas or chicago i just have my 3 kids here...I kept saying to him Joe my kids will be devestated if i die in a drunk driving, they need me he's goes NO THEY DON'T you just think so.....just rude ass stuff like that.... so he stops at a gas station and goes in i'm asking the 2 people pumping gas if there going to holland one ignored me and one said no....if i would have known where i was i would have just ran....but i had no money or nothing for a cab. so we get into holland he's falling asleep and getting worse by now because i think the alcohol is finally all getting in his blood stream.... guess what? he fricken goes to his house, i know i'm in hell now....he get's out starts dancing in his garage like all wasted i was so mad i can't even tell you, i said JOE I HAVE TO GO NOW. he's like hang on man....i said if you don't take me home now i'm walking,,,,so about 30 minutes later he takes me home asking if he can spend the night i'm not saying anything at this point just thinking of good defense attorneys because i can't imagine one of us making it out alive.... so we get to my apt, his place of work mind you....and the freak says "aren't you going to ask me up for a night cap" "i thought i was spending the night" I said "are you f@#king NUTS and i slammed the door...... well two days later i left for texas whatever, and got back 2 weeks later and he has the gull to yell at me and thanks for slamming the door on him...i was in shock so i say well thank you for almost killing me on the way home, he's like shh shh ya know wityou guys are so very nice and even nicer for having read that novel of me ranting forever...and I didn't even notice I didn't have a question lol..I was just so mad...and started "mad typing" sorry.... and "jaws of fur" I so would have forgiven him, if he would have come up to me the next day or so and apolized and what not, I would have done so for sure.....but when he "female dog" lol at me first, saying "thank for not inviting me up and slamming my door" then I was just fipped out...it was like an episode of the "twilight zone" ya know? and then when I found out he did the same thing didn't take her to get some out but she has a girlfriend if ya know what I mean, but that didn't stop him even being sober to say disquisting things to her...and she worked for the apts so they were co-workers.....then 1 more girl came forward same thing, he use's these cheesy ass lines....and it's not even like he's a good looking guy where u could over come that stuff lol....i'm just so angry,SORRY LAST THING; I STOPPED BEING ON HERE FOR A WHILE, BECAUSE THERE WAS SO MANY RUDE PEOPLE, SO THANK YOU ALL FOR BEING NICE......oh i guess my question would be, what should i do if that ever happens again???? there, lol more

Just getting a little market research: All figure are based off annual income of a single person earner and all other taxes would be scrapped, with a few exceptions which will be continued later. Where a single person making a 150,000 a year would pay 50k a year in taxes at 33%. Once again there are no other taxes. No sales tax. But still a light property tax. Here is the contingent I was addressing in the beginning. foreign companies would have to pay a non-organic tax, as they are not organic business to the area. Say at a rate of 30% of gross income. States adopt the non-organic business tax too at 15% of gross. A measure to protect small business. Of course individuals and families would reserve the right to not pay there taxes also. Resolved Question: Have you ever taken your lease/share horse on holiday?

I've been sharing a Cob for 3 months now and we have never had a bad point, his owner admits we have an amazing bond and she doesn't want the share to ever fall downhill. So today I just thought of something. 45 minutes away by car is our 'holiday-home' which is further in the countryside, where I leased my last horse during the summer. Anyway there is a livery yard directly *across the road* from our house where I used to lease, and I would love to keep my Cob there for 5 days - a week and stabled (I know I would have to ask the owner, I know him, and have many friends there). I would be there ALL day, have to rent a trailer of course. I would ask my mum first. But the livery yard is in the centre of many hacking routes and the beach and I would LOVE to take him. But I'm concerned of asking too early, and I highly doubt she (like any owner) would take it too lightly! We are both insured. Your thoughts/experiences? more
