Algarve Beaches Questions asked
Resolved Question: Camping in Algarve, Portugal?
Do you know any camping park really close to the beach in Algarve, Portugal? Thanks moreResolved Question: Where to go in the Algarve?
I'm planning a trip to the Algarve with my son at the beginning of September, we're 38 and 18 years of age. Things we are hoping for: A fairly peaceful area to stay. Within walking distance of beach, shops and restaurants nearby (We like to try fresh, healthy and local dishes) Commutable distance from Faro airport (no plans to hire car). Local places of interests, markets, Ports etc Somewhere that isn't packed with drunken tourists..but equally somewhere that isn't totally isolated and dead! I'd appreciate any suggestions, I have been looking at Alvor but having never visited Portugal do not have a clue! Taxi fares to destination would also be useful! Thank you moreResolved Question: Creative poses for pictures at the beach?
Well, i am going to Portugal next week (very very excited) and i love photography so i want some ideas of what i can take pictures of myself doing eg. swimming, sunbathing, listening to iPod etc. Any ideas and photos are welcome and much appreciated! This is where i'm staying- http://www.destination360.com/europe/portugal/images/s/albufeira.jpg <<That exact beach is the place i am referring to, it's Albufeira, Algarve, Portugal. If you know it then you'll know how amazing it is there :) Thank you! PS Please no dirty ideas, i'm only 15... (: moreResolved Question: Hotels in Albufeira, Algarve?
I am looking at booking a hotel for myself, my partner and our children age 15 and 11. We have two in mind, but are not sure which one to go for! They are Vilanova Resort, or Luna Alpinus Falesia. Do you know any of these hotels. We are looking at entertainment to keep the children entertained, but also near the beach and golf courses! Many thanks xx moreResolved Question: Where to go in southern Spain?
I am going to southern Portugal and Spain in September. We are going to Lisbon, the Algarve, then plan to go to Seville for a couple days, maybe down to Gibraltar, maybe Malaga, and up to Madrid where we fly home from. We will be in Spain for 5 days, and can't decide where to go. We are pretty set on Seville, but not sure yet about Gibraltar or Malaga. We considered Ronda, Costa del Sol, and a number of other places, but there is too much to choose from! Does anyone have any recommendations? If you were in the south of Spain for 5 days where would you go and what would you do? (We are open to beaches, cities, etc. Enjoy active travel too)Thanks for all of the great feedback! I'm looking into Granada more now...seems to be a consensus here that it's a must-see. We are travelling by train, bus, and bike the entire time and will not be renting a car so not as worried about traffic, but less flexible in the number of places we can travel to and unfortunately can't tour many of the backroads on our own (except by bike). Does anyone have any suggestions of where to stay in Seville, or Granada? Some cheap, clean, and in a good location is all I'm looking for. Character is a bonus! Thanks again! moreResolved Question: best place to stay on the algarve?

I wanna know what do you think when you go to Algarve and when you get there, instead of being in a 100% foreign country, with a different language and food, you get english pubs, burgers, lager, full of British people wearing the same football jerseys and instead of going to the beach you go to the pub and watch a pre-season annoying Man Utd vs Beijing Chyonyang or a exciting West Ham vsShanghaii Whatever Ling Ping I'm asking this, because i feel that you British surely would expect something different from Algarve. moreResolved Question: beach holidays in may?
