Open Question: WHAT MIGHT THIS DREAM MEAN?
Hi I was just wondering if this dream has a meaning. 4 Days ago I had a dream that I was aboard this really huge! White ship that had many windows and I was the only one on it and and the were 2 people pulling the ship towards the sand, because it seemed as if we were arriving in this beautiful tropical beach. So when we arrived I then go off the ship and I was in a bikini after that I started walking towards the other side of the beach. That is when I met this guy that (I actually have never known in real life) and next thing I know I was making love to him and we were kissing and touching each other it felt real and it did feel good and then I woke up. This is the first time I have had a dream like this. I do not have a boyfriend and I’m still a virgin and I would like to stay one until marriage. But what might this dream mean? Might it have a meaning I just cannot figure it out? Thank you!! moreResolved Question: MIGHT THIS DREAM HAVE A MEANING TO IT?

I am wanting to move to Chile. Where are the most beautiful cities? I like skiing, beautiful mountains, glaciers, tropical beaches, waterfalls, lakes, hot springs. Where should I move to to find some of these things? moreVoting Question: What is the best Caribbean destination?
We have been to Jamaica and Puerto Rico. We loved the very tropical feel and beautiful beach and water in Jamaica, but weren't so crazy about the feeling of being stuck on the resort due to the very under-developed nature of the island. In Puerto Rico, we weren't so crazy about the beach, with cooler dark water and big waves. But we loved the fact that we could travel around. What would be a good caribbean (or Mexican) destination with the best of both worlds... turquoise, calm, warm waters and also a little more to do off the resort? All-inclusives are a bonus too! moreResolved Question: Why is the U.S. so expensive?
Okay, don't get me wrong I am an American but unlike most Americans I have traveled the world and have had a huge awakening.Remember the world is a book and those who don't travel only read one page.I see these people on TV talking about the U.S. being #1 one and if you ask most Americans they will say it outright without a doubt that America is #1.It's Like asking the question is almost foolish. My question is,do Americans think that in schools around the world are teaching their students to believe that America is the best country? If you think so you are not thinking correctly.Just like my friends from Australia,Norway,Sweden,UK,Canada etc....have said to me"Don't you think that we are all taught that our countries are the best in the world?'I have lived in Thailand for 6 years and it is far from perfect but in other ways it's close to paradise.I came home last year to California and could not believe how expensive everything is and I want to know why.In Thailand I can stay in a beautiful hotel on the most beautiful tropical beaches in the world and pay between 10 to 25 dollars a night.A Coke cost about 25 cents here, cigarettes about a dollar and expensive food is 8 or 9 dollars, cheap food can be under a buck for a complete meal.My rent for a fully furnished nice house w/exotic fruit trees, fish pond, built in bbq in a beautiful subdivision w/ private security, restaurants even a French one,Olympic swimming pool, shops, tennis courts,B.B. courts all for $115.00 a month. When I was in LA a Coke was 2 bucks and my hotel was 150 a night.I go to the store and buy a few things and $25.00 was gone.In Thailand I can eat for days and days on $25.00.When I walked and drove around America the only thing I could feel was anger and animosity towards the U.S. government for letting the American people get ripped off so bad.If you've never left the country then all is normal for you but when you see how cheap the world really can be and how in many ways European countries(even though expensive) have far batter systems(to a degree) than America has it makes you see America in a new light and it makes you angry. moreResolved Question: If America is the best country then why is everything so stinking expensive?

I'm looking for a place for myself and a few of my friends to go on vacation and i'm not sure where the best place to go would be. We'd like to go somewhere warm and tropical like Hawaii, Mexico, Caribbean, Costa Rica, or some type of island. We aren't opposed to a cruise, but we need wherever we go to be relatively affordable or have accommodations that are, because we are college students on a budget but we can splurge a bit. Any recommendations for somewhere that would be fun, have beautiful beaches, and not be too pricey?? moreResolved Question: Isla Verde, Puerto Rico or Miami Beach What place is better for tropical caliber beaches ,strong sun?

Would love to avoid children (sorry!) and not interested in a big party. Really just looking for a tropical paradise to escape, swim in beautiful calm water against a lush green background, possibly kayak and enjoy an adult beverage or two without completely excluding my non drinking boyfriend. Please advise and thanks so much in advance. Desperately seeking guidance!! moreResolved Question: I have no motivation?
It seems like I have no motivation to do anything. I feel like nothing in life really matters. I have no interest in doing anything because, for some reason, I feel like I should be doing something else- something that matters. The fact that life is uncertain has really thrown me off. For example, I want to go to college to learn how to design games. But I would need to get $40,000 in loans. What if I can't get a job by the time I'm out of college? What if the world has gone to shit and everything I learned was for nothing? And I don't know if game development is what I really want to get into anyways. I've thought about numerous different career options like web design and writing... but I don't like doing one thing for too long... because I feel like I should be doing something else. It's very stressful. I really want to move to a tropical island and have a simple life with an entry level job- probably at a resort. I don't want to be stressed out anymore. At least if I had some simple job in some beautiful place like Hawaii, I wouldn't have to think about any of this anymore. I've always loved the beach... I think that's where I feel I need to be. I would feel very spoiled, something that I obviously don't feel very often anymore. What do you think I should do? moreResolved Question: Where is a better honeymoon destination... Bora Bora or Kauai?
They both seem like beautiful, fabulous choices but as much as we love good scenery, relaxing, and induldging, we want to explore a bit. But not just explore the land, explore the culture. I know many couples are ready to put on their mud boots and hike 10 miles but I can't picture us doing that now, let alone on our honeymoon but maybe a 1 mile hike! We're getting married in December but we want a tropical honeymoon. We want to avoid the vacation chains such as sandals or beaches. We enjoy rustic charm but prefer luxury ammenties(including AC)! I'm intrigued by the over the water bungalows in Bora Bora but I don't know if it's worth the extra money over a typical bungalow and I haven't seen anything like that in kauai. Most everything I've found there is either hotels or independently owned cottages. I love authentic shops, all things hand-made and quaint and he enjoys all things usual and elaborate and we both love good food, music, dancing and ofcourse pampering! Please help... We're so confused because everything always looks amazing online! If any of you know of particular sights to visit, places to stay or even another similar option, PLEASE let us know! Thanks! moreResolved Question: Hawaiian vacation: Kauai vs. Maui?
Hi, my family is planning to go to Hawaii in August, and we are trying to decide which island to visit. We're basically debating between Kauai and Maui (but if you think another island is better for us, let me know :D) In general, I know that Kauai is more peaceful, less commercialized (but not at an uncomfortable level), more tropical/scenic/lush... whereas Maui is also very nice and scenic but more crowded. This is the first time we'll be going to Hawaii. It'll just be me and my parents; I'll be 16. Top priorities: Really nice beaches (preferably not crowded) Beautiful scenery (maybe with some nice easy hikes) Real "Hawaiian" feel Do not care for: Shopping Big resorts Surfing Nightlife It'd be nice if we could go to a Luau and see something cultural, but that isn't a must. We just want to have some good family fun and see some really nice scenery :) Thanks :) moreResolved Question: Where is a beach that has crystal clear blue water? Like this king of water(link below)?

I want to go on a week-long trip to the Caribbean or Mexico with my longtime boyfriend, but I'm so overwhelmed with the different locations, I don't know how to choose. My ideal location would include: -A well-known or established hotel that's not so expensive (we don't need a really lavish resort) -Beautiful beaches that are easily accessible -Not so many crowds -Local shopping/ towns we can visit (we speak Spanish fluently so we'd like to be able to converse with locals) -I'd like to see cultural landmarks such as ancient ruins, museums, etc. -Tropical environment (jungles, flora) -Finally, convenient access to airports; cheap flights out of Houston, TX. We're on a budget, but its our first time flying together, and we want this trip to go as smooth as possible. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. im french so i need so smart english person to correct and imporve my myth! Once upon a time, Nichaedon and Hermatographe strolled upon the shore on the glorious island of Paradisio, enjoying their honey moon as a wonderful couple. They had just been pronounced husband and wife and things could not be better. As the sun was setting on the horizon, Nichaedon decided to attend a peaceful gathering, on the beautiful beach beside the sparkling aqua blue ocean. Hermatographe was pandiculating after the thrilling day they had just experienced, therefore she decided to lay down for a nap. Once arrived on site, Nichaedon observed the magnificent scene. Up above in the mountains he could see the peek of his house settled nicely on top of mount Canaitas, neighboured beside mount Olympus where Zeus lived. On the beach, laid around a group of wedding guests. Nichaedon was unfamiliar with most of the people there but used his charming personality to obtain new friends. There was one in particular named Kanatias who had shone upon him and away from the other amount of ladies who were attending the gathering. After introducing himself and getting to know her quite well, he grew very fond of her and you could of almost say that Hermatographe had never even crossed his mind. As the night progressed towards midnight, an incredibly special guest decided to make an appearance. Aphrodite who was the goddess of love flew around the sandy beach area where she noticed many joyful couples, one of them caught her eye. She noticed Nichaedon and Kanitias having a dispute about a unknown subject. Her instinct was that they were a couple having a disagreement and that she was in charge of fixing it. As the goddess of love it was her responsibility to keep the love and peace flowing throughout the world. She then released her powers and cast a spell that Nichaedon and Kanitias would fall madly in love for all eternity. As dawn approached the beach was now empty and everybody had returned to their dwelling on the island. When Hermatographe woke up, there was nobody by her side. Nichaedon had not returned from the gathering and now was pronounced missing. When she set out to find him, she quickly wandered around the island. She searched everywhere that he could of been such as: beaches, the tropical forests, the sea and much more. She was flabbergasted when out of nowhere there stood Nichaedon with another woman. She quickly ran to him and yelled: "where have you been all night and why have you not returned to me". Nichaedon responded "I have realized that you are not deserving enough to possess me and that you are not who I desire to be with". Still in shock as everything that was set up to be a perfect life with the man she truly wanted to be with was just destroyed with one vicious statement, Hermatographe turned away and sobbed uncontrollably back to her suite. As the day continued, Nichaedon and Kanitias spent the day together as Hermatographe pondered away in her suite trying to embrace what had just happened. She knew by then that Nichaedon had made up his mind and was not going to return to her any time soon. She thought how life would be miserable without him and that she would be better off dying. She therefore called upon Hades, the god of the underworld. Without even the time to blink Hades popped up in front of her with an eager look to know why he had been summoned by such a mortal. He first said: "What do you want and how dare you bother me?". She responded "I wish to die. My life is a never ending nightmare without my true love and I wish for you to spare my life to end the million tortures I will live". He then laughed and said "Life is something that only comes once in a mortal's lifetime. You must embrace every moment of it and find the positive side of every situation in order to deserve a happy after life. You are so young, there are not many things you have had the opportunity to discover and experience. I cannot allow you to die before your time is due". He then said goodbye and was about to walk away. She then yelled to him"Wait! I know the almighty king Zeus. If I tell him you are not obeying my desire he would punish you with unimaginable cruelty". She had just done a major lie as she knew where Zeus lived but had never encountered him before. He then said to her that if she could prove to him that she knew Zeus by tomorow she would grant her death wish. That night Hermatographe began her excrutiating long journey towards Mount Olympus. After several hours of traversing the steep slopes and battling the searing heat, she finally reached her destination. She was very nervous that Zeus would deny to help her and that her plan would fail. She had just committed a lie that could come back to haunt her but she knew it was her best chance at getting what she wanted. When she first presented her situation and her wishes to Zeus he wa moreResolved Question: Tropical holiday destinations?

My dream was about me and this one girl, whom I like. I used to talk to her a lot last year and I even went to a school dance with her. I don't really talk to her that much anymore but recently, I've realized that I like her. I don't believe that she feels the same way about me, but never the less, I would still talk to her at school. Here is my dream. A couple of years later, after graduating from high school, a group of my friends and I, including her, went on a trip to a tropical island for vacation. The island was beautiful and stunning, much like Hawaii, but more exotic and lush. The dream spans across the course of two weeks on the island. She sees me as nothing more than a friend, and we would each go off to sight see with our own group of friends everyday. We would eat dinner together as a group at a local restaurant but that would be it. One day, I spotted her drinking on a bench at our resort. She's a Mormon, and doesn't drink alcohol, so I knew something was up. I went up to her and talked to her. We ended up drinking and talking all night. She had told me everything about her life (this I couldn't remember) and I had told her mine. We parted our ways afterward and went to our own hotel rooms. The days in the dream after this encounter is what's truly amazing. We ditched our own respective groups to hang out with each other. We would go to beaches, to the shopping malls, and eat at the local restaurants together. It all completely blew my mind. It was the best time of my life. After I woke up, I felt like everything around me was the dream and that my dream was reality. This seemed like something out of a dramatic novel, yet I have never written any books before. I felt like a powerful force had came to talk to me in my dream to tell me to never give up on anything anymore, including this girl. I was changed but I need to know more about my dream. Any help towards interpreting my dream would be greatly appreciated, thanks. moreResolved Question: Tropical Honeymoon Destinations...any suggestions!?
My husband and I are looking for honeymoon options (probably January 2011). We love tropical settings and are thinking Caribbean or Mexico. We certainly would consider all inclusive however neither of us have any experience with the concept? I'd assume there would be a lot of catches with 'all inclusive'??? Also we really want beautiful beach and a relaxed/pampered atmosphere. Safe. Not a lot of kids running around (we have 3 - need a break! lol). Maybe someplace a rental car wouldn't be needed or wanted even? Suggestions or even places to avoid? Thanks!!! moreVoting Question: URGENT: Please translate 12 sentences from English to French accurately (:?
Hi, I would be so grateful if any of you native French speakers out there could translate a couple sentences for me. Please don't use a translator and include these tense as much as possible: comme l'imparfait, le passé composé, le conditionnel Last year i went to Australia with my mother, father, and my older brother. I loved the beach and the hot climate there. During my stay, i learned how to surf, wake-board, and snorkel. In the Great Barrier Reef, the water was sparkling blue, the fishes were tropical, and the coral was exotic. It was the most beautiful view i have ever seen. We also went in a hot air balloon that looked like a koala (: I saw kangaroos jumping below me as we flew across the horizon. We landed in a field, near an animal farm. I fed milk to the lambs, held a koala, and petted a kangaroo. The best food to eat in Australia is of course, fish and chips! I ate that nearly every day while on vacation. Overall, Australia is a beautiful place that i recommend everyone to visit. Thanks so much to whoever can help. You will definitely receive best answer!Hi, I was wondering if that is accurate and if anyone could verify? This is a very important assignment. Thanks for the reply! moreResolved Question: Whats a tropical place in California?

There are no accents because I don't know how to type those. Apart from that how is my grammar and spelling. In English... Hello friends. Today I will speak of Guadeloupe. It is a fascinating country that is in the Caribbean Sea. Here you'll see beautiful mountains, sandy beaches and green forests. You can travel the islands by bus, taxi or boat. While traveling through this country one can see sugar cane crops. It is important not to leave the country without the rum museum where you can also see butterflies and other insects. As for me I would like to see the tropical fish. I recommend you go diving. You can swim in the sea or you can sunbathe on the plage. If you decide to go to the beach, put on some sunscreen and insect repellent because it will be sunny and there are many harmful insects. In Guadeloupe, they speak two languages: french and creole. Many people speak creole and french, but the official language is french. The lifestyle is very relaxed and fun. Every day, there is dancing and celebration. In my opinion, the atmosphere of Guadeloupe is very relaxed and fun. The rum is the national drink. Thank you for listening to my speech. moreResolved Question: Surprise 60th Birthday Vegas Vacation - YES OR NO?
I have never been to Vegas, but my fiance and I want to give my parents a vacation for their 60th birthdays next month. It sounds like a fun place, but my parents are NOT into bars, partying, drinking, or shows that have a "sexy" connotation. We would opt for a cruise or tropical vaca, but they arent beach people either! Needless to say, we dont know what to do. Can anyone recommend things to do for this age group (60ish) in Vegas? Would they need to rent a car to get around? Is there anything else in the surrounding area to see, like sightseeing, mountains, etc? OR Can anyone suggest another location (non-beachy)?? We also looked at Sedona AZ/Grand Canyon...The scenery is beautiful but nothing much else to do except see the grand canyon. PLEASE HELP!! Time is running out and we'd like to book something for July or August. I need some opinions! THANKS SO MUCH!! moreResolved Question: Could someone please translate this into simple french.?
very simple vocabulary please. not like the complicated stuff online translators use. Cambodia is a country located in the northern hemisphere of the continent of Asia. It is one of the three only countries in Asia where french is spoken. The reason I chose Cambodia is because it is a very interesting place with lots of nice places to visit and a lot of delicious food to eat. Although Cambodia is located hundreds of kilometers from France it has still been influenced by it greatly. A lot of the population still speak french, although there is becoming less and less people who speak it. Cambodia was a colony of France from 1863 to 1953 and was part of the country of French indochina. Because of Cambodia’s french rule for almost 100 years, Cambodia is a place of mixed cultures and a place where east and west meet. A great place in Cambodia to visit is the beautiful temple of Angkor Wat. Built in the 12th century by King Suryavarman, the temple is very old and is one of the most famous places in Cambodia. Angkor Wat is built on an island in the middle of a jungle, and with its great history and scenery it is a fantastic place to visit. Another great place to visit is Ta Prohm. Ta Prohm is a Buddhist Temple located in the middle of Cambodia. Ta Prohm is so old that there is trees growing out of the buildings. Cambodia has many beautiful beaches, With the most beautiful being Kep-sur-Mer. Kep-sur-Mer has been a popular destination for the french for decades, but unfortunately many of the beautiful french villas and mansions were destroyed during the Khmer Rouge; a Cambodia war that lasted for 4 years. There are many activities you can do at Kep-sur-Mer, you can go surfing, parasailing, jet surfing and much more. Kep-sur-Mer has so much to offer and is definitely a great place to visit. Food in Cambodia is very unique and interesting. Being a mix of traditional food and french cuisine, food in Cambodia is very unique. Cambodian people eat a variety of different food such as, noodles, rice and tropical fruits. Unlike other parts of Asia, it is very popular to eat french food for breakfast, things like baguettes and pate is often eaten along side noodles and soups. A strange thing that is eaten in Cambodia is deep fried spiders, theses are are very popular among the people of cambodia and are considered a delicacy. The origin of eating spiders dates back to during the Khmer Rouge where many people had nothing to eat so they took to eating spiders. These spiders have now become a very popular and famous dish in Cambodia. Cambodian cuisine is unique and delicious and should be tried by everyone. Cambodia’s great history, beautiful destinations and of course delicious food have all helped make Cambodia a Fantastic place to visit. moreResolved Question: Where would the best honeymoon spot be?
My boyfriend and I have been discussing our future plans and last night he asked me where I would like our honeymoon to be. I love anywhere with a beach and a warm tropical climate, and so does he. The catch is that we really don't want to have to fly anywhere. We just would like to go to a really clean, nice, beautiful and romantic place to go that's secluded and tropical with excellent service but not over-the-top expensive. We just want to relax and have a wonderful start on our first trip together as man and wife so please give as much advice as possible:) moreResolved Question: Can someone read this part of my Story/Book I am writing and critic?
I am trying to write my second story at the moment, this is the first time I am attempting to write from the me/I perspective and I wondered what people think about my writing style and if they would be inclined to read more or walk away? The story is about a young man who is a famous actor, his management has sent him to a deserted island where he is to spend a long week with a female fan. In this section he just arrived to the island. *************************************************** We approached the small almost perfectly round island and when I looked into the water it was crystal clear all the way down to the white sand at the seabed. I even saw a few tropical fish rush away. The island was covered in deep green tropical trees. In the middle of the trees I could just make out the top of a roof that must belong to the large beach house we were going to be staying in. Surrounding the trees as far as the eye could see nothing but powder white sand. The small boat docked on the long wooden platform which was about a hundred meters out from the island but because the seabed was so low here the boat couldn't close in any further. The small native looking man who had brought me here mumbled something in a language I didn't understand. I looked at his weathered creased face and he smiled kindly at me, then gestured for me to leave the boat. I jumped onto the dock and began to walk toward the island, I had no luggage to carry as I am told it had been delivered to the house for me already. I was about half way down the dock when something moving on the island caught my eye and snapped me out of my day dream. There on the sand stood the most gorgeous creature I have ever seen. Her dark hair is so long it just about touches her buttocks, it is silky, shiny and straight and then curls just a little near the bottom. Her olive skin is perfect and smooth, she is wearing a burned orange coloured bikini and a similar coloured sarong that doesn't hide her perfectly shaped long legs. Her feet were half covered by the soft powdery sand and her toes were painted in the same burned orange tone as her bikini. I feel a little self-conscious at this point and think maybe the washed out jeans and plain grey t-shirt were not the best idea, plus my hair was messy and untidy as always. “Well here goes”, I shrugged quietly to myself. I walked up to her and outstretched my hand to greet her, but she moved right on in and threw her arms around my neck. I noticed she was almost the same height as me. Her hair fluttered wildly in the breeze and it smelled amazing; a mixture of jasmine and elderflower. She pulled back and now stood right in-front of me smiling a dazzling smile with a row of blindingly white teeth behind her red lips. Wow, I had to steady myself a little as she let go of me so abruptly, I could see she was a little bit on the wild side. “Hey, I am Melanie”, she offered, still smiling at me. Her voice sounded as exotic as her skin looked. “I am Eric, but I am sure you know that already”, I grinned back. I continued to study her beautiful face, her oval shaped brown eyes were surrounded by a layer of thick, long black eyelashes, she had a perfectly shaped nose and the most lushest full lips I'd seen in some time. I wondered for a moment what those lips would taste like, when Melanie s voice called me back to reality. “Yeah I have heard about you but I only really know that you act and sing, I have only seen you in one movie”, she said. “I also thought you were American but your accent is British right?” ****************************************************************************************************************** Please be harsh I want the truth, thank you for reading.I made some changes but I can't post here, I would really value some more suggestions. I appreciate what has been said so far though, very helpful. Would you advise me more, email me please? moreResolved Question: could i have some help with some geography questions?

almost 10 years ago I went to myrtle beach strip and the most beautiful flower was planted there all along the strip. I stayed in the azalea hotel which was a dump and no the flowers were not azaleas! They were every color of the rainbow, most beautiful colored flowers i have ever seen. HUGE /large flowers (individual large flowers, just not a large bush of small flowers). The petals from what i remember were very large. these flowers almost looked tropical. For years I have wondered what they were and have never seen them since or before. However, from what I remember, there were lots of them planted along the strip.wow thanks, you both have been so helpful. Long story short, my fiance and I are getting married mid November. We are having a shoe string budget wedding lol, and a very simple one. Originally we had planned to hire a hall and have a garden wedding close by. Even going the least expensive route possible this was going to cost us a few hundred dollars plus money to decorate and get flowers, and this was just for the venue itself, not counting food, drinks, etc. Well my Aunt has a beautiful backyard with a Bali/Island theme. She is getting a gorgeous hand crafted Bali gazebo in a couple of months and their backyard has water walls, tropical plants, etc and is big enough to fit the small number of guests we're inviting. She has offered to have our wedding ceremony and reception at her home. Personally I think it will not only save us money and time, but it will be an absolutely gorgeous setting for a wedding, but my fiance is a bit unsure about having it at someone else's house. My Aunt and I are very close and she has taken the place of my Mum who passed away 3 years ago so to me it isn't weird at all. Plus we are having a tropical themed wedding where I will be wearing a nice beach-style dress with sandals, and my fiance is of Pacific Island background, so I think it all ties in nicely! What do you think to this idea? Any pros or cons? moreResolved Question: Hawaii or Mexico?? Where to travel to next?
