Open Question: What can I do about my parents?

To begin with I don't want people thinking that I am a spoiled brat. First, I am 18(almost 19) and just graduated high school. I do not have a job and my parents pay for my car, insurance, and most things I need. I do buy some things I need or want. The problem is my parents treat me like I am a little kid. They don't let me do anything that I want to do. My boyfriend of 6 years lives 45 minutes away from me and he is a firefighter. where he works is closer to my house than his so he stays at my house a lot so he doesn't have to get up and be on the road early in the mornings. we do not sleep in the same room at my house. my parents do not ever let me stay at his house, even though his mom is there, unless there is a reason like having to get up really early to go somewhere. My boyfriend is always having to drive to my house to get me when we do things at his house because they will not let me drive there a lot,even though I dont ever drive anywhere. Even though i dont have a job i do my share in the house. i clean the whole house good atleast once a week and straighten up after them every single day and cook atleast twice a week when my grandma doesnt(she lives next door) and neither one of them does any housework. i was gone 4 days with a friend to the beach with her family and i came home and none of the dishes had been done. my boyfriend has offered me numerous times to move in with him and his mom(who i get along with better than my own mom and she gets along with me more than her own daughter). he said he would pay for everything i need and he is capable of doing so. the problem with that is that i am already signed up for school and the school is 1hr30min from his house. we have talked about getting married but idk how soon it will be. i dont know if i should stick it out this semister and move in with him next semister and go to a better school that is 30 min from his house.i just dont want to ruin the relationship with my family even though i never see my dad because he works more than 80 hours a week and my mom is lazy and goes to work and comes straight home and gets on the couch and doesnt do anything with the excuse she works to pay for thing i want. Help! I dont know what to do more

Title says it all folks. I have a black macbook from 2007 and it's finally getting slow on me. Programs crashing when I try and get them to "serve their purpose". The beach ball that signifies loading sticks around MUCH longer than it used to when I first started using this mac. Even startup time has gotten an extra 20 or 30 seconds added on now. what are some free cleanup programs for Mac OS X (tiger)? be sure to include what they do please!! Open Question: Best honeymoon spot for a young couple?

Me and my fiance are getting married next July and we have not came up with where we want to go on our honeymoon. We deffinatly want warm weather and a beach, something tropical. I want somewhere that has a nice clean beach with white sand and clear water, but also somewhere with a lot to do and a lot of night life because we are both very young (19 & 21). We both have passports so out of the country is not a problem. more

Open Question: my boyfriend has such good skin but i dont :(?

my boyfriend has no acne and he has pretty skin but i dont :( i hardly ever wear makeup i mostly wear just eye makeup and leave my skin alone. but if i were to go on a date or go to somewhere that i need to look nice then ill do my whole face and wash it off and the next day i get bumps. my skin was doing really good when i went to the beach and my skin looked really good because of the salt water but after i got home it was just downhill from there. i get most of my acne on my cheekbone area and jaw. i wash my face morning and night. i there something that im doing wrong, do i just need to get new makeup and clean my brushes more. is there home remedies that i can do at home to lighten the scars and clear my skin?? thank you(: more

I KNOW THIS IS LONG BUT PLEASE READ: Okay well my neighbors, a family with 4 kids, (ages 4, 12, 13 and 15) are some of my closest friends, who I've known since me and the 12 year old were in kindergarten together. Well ever since the oldest turned 15, their dad has been very "difficult to deal with". He's been doing things like not letting them come over to my pool because he thinks my parents are too busy to watch us. Even when i try to tell him that my parents are just sitting around the house and my mom might be doing some cleaning he says stuff like "Well how would you know, you don't do chores like my kids" and says he doesn't want to disturb my parents by calling and asking! And he always seems to blame everything on the oldest. Every time one of the younger kids gets in trouble he blames it on her and constantly calls her irresponsible, when she is the one of the most responsible people I know. He hardly ever let's her go out with her friends, like once she went to a neighborhood pool with her friend (who lived in the neighborhood with the pool) and when he picked her up he saw some guys in her grade roughhousing in the pool (dunking each other, wrestling etc.) he said "you're never going back there". So when her MOM lets her do things he get's furious and yells at her! He really depresses her because he doesn't seem to care at all about her achievements, like when she passed her driving permit test he started arguing with her about getting a job to pay for insurance instead of congratulating her. I've witnessed him upset her over and over again about stupid things. Like yesterday we were all sore because we went tubing the day before, and he wanted everyone to go to the beach. Well I didn't want to go and neither did the oldest (let's call her Grace) so I told him that she could come over to my house and swim while my sister and the rest of her sibling went to the beach. Well he said no because he assumed my parents were busy, and basically called me a liar when I said they weren't. So when my sister went home and got her bathing suit on Grace called me and said her mom said I could hang out over there, so I went over to their house with my sis. When I got there her dad said "Go home right now, Grace isn't having anyone over" and I said "I was just walking my sister over" and he called me a liar and got in his truck and left saying Grace was to behind on schoolwork and needed to work on her responsibility. She was extremely upset because this was sort of a "climax" to a bunch of bad events that day. She asked for advice and I told her that maybe if she left a note explaining all of her feelings and then "ran away" she might be able to get him to appreciate her more. When I say runaway i mean like go to the other side of the neighborhood and eat crackers for a couple of hours. Not like get on a bus to the next town. Just to kinda scare him into thinking she was gone because he treated her wrong. should I have said this? She says she's not sure if she will because she thinks he'd just get mad and make her feel like an idiot. Heart to heart conversations between them end up as arguments and screaming so she's completely out of ideas. Please help? And no, this is not me it is honestly my friend. She's not suicidal or anything, and her mom has tried to help her but her dad just gets angry. Open Question: Could i be pregnant or am i just freaking out?

I asked this question before but here is an update and i haven't taken a test, so i was wondering if you think i should: my boyfriend were together for over a year, and been having sex for a couple of months. it is august the 2nd today, and we had sex for the first time without a condom on the 16th of July. i'm freaking out, because i didn't know he didn't have a condom on until he was inside of me - he didn't tell me. here is the story: we are at the beach at midnight and then he fingered me and i gave him hand and head - he did pre-*** a little. apparently he cleaned his penis, went inside and then held his penis. the actual sex happened for around just 10 seconds.. then he pulled-out and he told me he is sure that he didn't ejaculate and he tells me to calm down because he's positive all is good. during sex he said: "don't forget i don't have the rubber on", and that's when we decided to stop. it's been almost three weeks after that, and i don't feel any symptoms at all and i think i'm just freaking out because i have freaked out before (i just have stomach aches when i think about it).. could i be pregnant or is it unlikely? should i be feeling something by now and try to relax since i'm an after-sex freaker? thank you. more

Open Question: Good beach in Southern California with marine life?

I live near Seal Beach, but there's too many stingrays there. I want to go to a beach where I can swim and actually maybe see some life? I'm looking for a beach that I can explore. I don't want to sit there and get a tan, and I'm not much of a surfer. I don't care what awesome shopping spots are nearby (i got answers earlier telling me where the best spots for these activities are) All I want is a clean beach where I can go with friends and go in the water, swim around and see marine life. I've heard of beaches with cool coves I can explore. That would be nice. Open Question: something bit me at the beach and i couldnt feel my foot?

i went about 5 feet in the water and i stepped on something and it caused excruciating pain! when i touched the area around it, even if i lightly put my finger on the skin, it stung so bad, it felt like i was getting stitches. when i looked at it, it was red and swollen, then the area around the cut was white. the pain shot up to my thighs and stayed for 10-20 min, then went away, but there was always pain in my foot. i couldnt move my foot for an hour, and i felt the pain for 3 hours and ive been limping this entire day! i can still feel the pain, should i go to the doctor tomorrow? ive cleaned it with hydrogen peroxide and applied benodryl and medical tape. it hurts when i bend my toes.. i got pinched by a crab on my back and my foot too, but it didnt feel like a crab did this.. i also saw a shark, but it was tiny, and im pretty sure id be missing a toe or foot if it was a sharkit loos like theres something black in there =\ more

I mean is it a nice, clean and safe city for a single female? Also, do you think it would be a good location for someone who would be working in downtown Los Angeles? I think Culver City seems like a good area because it's about 15 minutes to the beach and 15 minutes to Downtown Los Angeles. What are your opinions on Culver City? more

Ok so im writing a story about a girl and her followers...its a clique story. I got so intrigued by the books by Lisi Harrison that i decided to write my own (for fun). Please don't say this is dumb, because witing is my passion, so if you say that, then it just makes me feel stupid. Ok, so descriptions: Alpha: Tiffany Waters Pin straight blonde hair with brown eyes. She is very tan and wears all designer clothes. She is tall, about 5 ft 9 but has gorgeous legs. She has kind of a temper sometimes, but it blows off becuase of shopping. That is her anger cure Beta: Bethany Richards Dirty blonde wavy beach curls. She has sand colored skin and two dimples on her cheeks with some small little light brown freckles. She is the only one brave enough to correct Tiffany, but often times, Bethany is right. Taylor does get annoyed at Bethany sometimes, but only because they know each other so well, and correct every mistake each other makes. Followers: Taylor Sullivan, Brooke Gershwin, and Elle Mastin Taylor Sullivan has short, clean cut (died) dark brown chocolate colored hair. Had glasses but wears contacts. She has fair skin and beautiful brown eyes. She recently gained a lot of weight and lost it all, so is currently very skinny but has a large bust. Brooke Gershwin has shoulder length blonde wavy hair. She is your typical dumb blonde. She is really funny becuase she's completely clueless. She has light blue eyes that are like the sea, and has a mischevious look to her. She's very pretty. Elle Mastin has golden colored hair. She is the only one Tiffany really feels is a threat to her alphaship. She used to be an alpha in a clique at her old school and so she has smart, fresh ideas when Tiffany's go old. Tiffany is worried Elle will try to start her own clique--which she does later in the book, but it doesnt go as planned--so she does everything possible to keep Elle below her alpha level. There is one girl on prove-ation. This means that the clique thinks that she would do good in the clique, but for a period--of proving herself worthy--she has tests of fashion, strength, and leadership. Prove-ation lasts six months for her, and if the clique feels like she proved herself enough, she will join the clique. If not, she goes away. Girl on proveation: Lyra Keller Lyra just moved from New Zealand, but are cute clothes and a cool accent enough to let her in the clique? She has really tan skin, because the hole in the ozone layer is right above New Zealand, so when she moved to the upper east side on NY, she tanned like crazy in america. She has died dark red hair and a gorgeous smile. She gets lots of cute guys becuase of her accent and her interesting choice of clothing. She chooses really hip clothes, and sometimes really unhip clothes, but makes them work either way. Here is tiffanys story: Tiffany was an alpha in a clique in seventh grade. They called themselves TNT because of their names: Tiffany, Natalia, and Taylor. Tiffany was the gorgeous alpha who was a leader to everyone and got all the boys. Natalia was the beta who was the smart one. She had her great ideas, and was a beautiful brunette who had a boyfriend back home where she used to live, in France. Taylor was the follower. She copied everything Natalia said and did, but she didn’t dare ever copy Tiffany. They were the coolest clique at their middle school, Terry Prep, but everything changed when Natalia moved away halfway through the year. Her father got a job back in France, and her and her whole family moved away, and TNT slowly lost touch. Taylor was left to fend for herself and put on a lot of weight, and became a nerd. Tiffany, longing for a clique again, befriended two semi-cool people (Bethany and Brooke). She did their makeup and told them all her hair tricks and bought them outfits and gave them tips on how to make their legs longer and things like that. Tiffany rose to the top, with her new beta, Bethany, and a less clingy follower than Taylor, Brooke. They called themselves ToB. The T stood for Tiffany and the B stood for Bethany and Brooke. The ‘o’ was just there to make it sound better. That was in eighth grade. Then a girl named Elle Mastin moved from Alabama in ninth grade. She was way cooler than Tiffany, so Tiffany befriended her and made Elle live by her rules so she wouldn’t ever outdo her again. She was afraid of Elle sometimes, but that only happened whenever Elle had her smart/funny/gorgeous moment, and outdid Tiffany once again. They called themselves the fab four. Taylor got so jealous of all the awesome girls in the cool clique and she lost all the weight. She read, like, 50 magazines to get all the new fashions and style tips. She was really pretty and had very large breasts, because she put so much fat on them and then lost all the rest of her body’s weight. They looked way larger now that she was skinny. Taylor begged Tiffany to let her back in, and after a couple months on “prove-ation” she finally proved herself worthy of being in Tiffany’s presence. Open Question: I took my camera to the beach and now there's sand in it?

And the camera's lens won't open because the sand grains are stuck in it. It's a digital camera and it's new and I just got it and I was wondering if there were any places I could go to that would fix/repair it for me, or clean it for me or something? more

Open Question: If I build a camping resort, would other foreigners come to it?

I intend to build near the ocean with my fruit tree farm on one side of the road and rent tents to campers on the ocean side, near or on the beach. It has nearly white sand and is very nice. I am building a round swimming pool with a water slide on it and will provide U.S. meals and Philippine food as well. I will also have a convenience store, barber, driver/car, boat tours and several other features set up. If anyone can think of anything I missed, please let me know, as I want this as nice as possible. Oh, and it will be in Bohol, very quiet, clean and safe.What is a cabana? Fishing trips can be arranged and the showers/toilets are included in the septic plans. Maybe personal sized sailing craft would be nice for the more adventurous. more

me, my sister and mother were swiming in this clean ocean. suddenly mother is pulled under by shark.. For some reason me and sister are very calm (WOULD NEVER HAPPEN IN REAL!) i grab mum via the arms, my sister grabs m legs and we a human chain being pulled deeper to the bottom of the ocean. I soon realise i didnt inhale air to go under, i pull sister down to hold mum;s arms and i swim up to resurface. Resurfacing, sister has mum on beach and we realise she lost a leg. (the attack was very much like the documentary i was watching the night before) in the other dream im walking down a street, two dogs follow me . I turn and shoo them away the golden lab runs of obeying my order, A boarder collie (much like my friends dog) immideatly changes into my friend (owner of that dog) the transition was so fast i was still motioning for them to leave. So my friend shakes her head and follows me down the street. (sunny, autumn) more

Open Question: Why am I still gaining weight?

I had my baby almost eleven months ago and have been gaining weight ever since. I am not going on 15lbs more than what I was at my heaviest when I was pregnant. I have to admit it's been a rough year and my diet has not been the greatest but the last few months I have completely done an overhaul with my diet. I only eat home balanced home cooked meals mostly whole wheat grains and the meals are far from over sized. I have had maybe one glass of pop per week and have not had any snacks like chips, cookies, etc. I have not been working out like I have not actually taken an hour to myself to just run or lift weights but I have been 10x more active this last month then ever. I used to just sit at home and literally only go out to buy take out food every single meal. Now I go to the beach with the baby, constantly run after her, constantly cleaning scrubbing floors, vacuuming - something I wasn't doing before because I didn't have to and I also have been taking the stairs - 6 flights to be exact. Anyways, I have had my glucose levels checked, my thyroid checked, and my cortisol levels checked by the doctor. All came back within normal and she has no worries, but I am still left gaining weight. I'm getting extremely frustrated! I want to lose 20 pounds or so by May and I don't know how to do it. Does anyone have any good diets or have an explanation as to what is going on? more

What do you look for inyour search on choosing the one you want?If you have two coffee drinkers in your house, One that will drink any 'type, flavor, cold, hot, fresh, or not type of person, and the other person is more particular about the taste (bitter or not), flavor, freshness, etc. The first person wants to buy the least expensive pot/brand possible as they don't think it matters, the other wants to buy a better pot as they don't agree and thinks it does matter.What brand/make would you suggest to them? One that isn't the 'bottom of the barrel' and yet not the most expensive either. preferably the stainless carafe (easier to clean, etc). Is there a 'happy medium' for both of these people? Can you help them pick a coffee maker? They are in desperate need of one as the one they have is about to break. They have a Hamilton Beach Brew Station currently and wouldn't recommend it.Please help, give your suggestions, opinions, choice of yours to purchase, etc. ThanksThey have researched a lot! more

Resolved Question: problems shaving bikini area?

i shave my bikini area whenever i go to the beach, or get "comfortable" with my bf. thing is, i have to wait for my hair to grow for a bit, so i can shave it and it looks rather clean. however, the 3 days after i shave, the skin is irritated, i get a couple of ingrown hairs, and it's red and sharp. even that cream bikinizone doesn't really help. i want to wax with pre-made strips that i use for my underarms at times, but i'm afraid it'll hurt and get irritated even more. any tips? more

Open Question: Fading foot tattoo in 2 & 1/2 weeks?! PLEASE HELP?

I received a tattoo on my right foot on the right bottom side of it. The font is thin and small, but it is already fading/ flaking? It is my 1st tattoo so I don't know the difference. I used A&D ointment, always cleaned it, kept it moist, covered it. 2 weeks later I went to the beach but I applied lots of suntan lotion. Some parts are barely legible they are so faded, is this because it is still healing? PLEASE give me all the advice you can!! Resolved Question: White spots on baby RES?

I got my baby Red Eared Slider Zintra when I went to Myrtle Beach. She was in a ten gallon tank with no basking/heating light, very few things for them to surface on and there were at least thirty baby RES in the tank with her. I couldn't leave her there and I had been wanting one for quite a while. So had my friend. So I got two. The next day I was leaving and noticed that Zintra had little patches of white on her shell. But I thought nothing of it. My friends Turtle had no white spots. Its been a month since I've had Zintra, she has a heating/basking light, clean water with all the proper chemicals to help clean the water all that I got from Petsmart and was recommended. She also has a turtle "landing" for her to get out of the water and bask. I got her a filter also. I thought that the white spots would go away. But they haven't. I've applied VitaShell to her shell. Its supposed to condition and help dry, brittle or cracked shells. They are still there. I looked online and it said something about shell rot. Well her eyes aren't puffy, there is no pus. And it doesn't smell. But im worried about her. I don't want to just rush her to the vet if there is nothing wrong with her. So I thought I'd ask some experts or people who just know a bit more than I. But I so have another turtle, hes a baby too and is in the water with her. His shell was perfect when I bought him at the Reptile Expo from a breeder and its still nice now. So...what is you all's opinion? Another note: The lighting is at the correct temp as is the water. They both have been eating very well. more

Open Question: how to assure cleanliness of wooden tunnels?

i've had stretched ears for likely somewhere around 7 years now, and just decided to obtain wooden plugs for the first time. the place i purchased them was on a beach and wasn't particularly an area i'd get anything pierced at (although, i'm overly paranoid,) but the jewelry appeared clean enough. the guy who sold them to me claimed to soak them in warm water. when i questioned if it should be salt water, they agreed to that as well. i don't remember for how long, how often, or any of the details. is this legitimate advice and would this be the best way to keep them clean? any advice on wood body jewelry would be appreciated, as i'd like to take care of my ears as well as the jewelry as best as possible with health being the main concern. more

So I have to do a project on ways to clean up the oil from the oil spill in the Gulf. I had an idea about how to clean it up with like powder stuff that you can sprinkle across the water and it absorbs it so you can then scrape it up and clean up the oil. SO after the third week I hit it pretty hard and thought I ripped the top. But two days later it felt fine again. Then in almost a week a bump grew on the top. I have seen several people about it and they all say different stuff. Most agree it isnt a keloid. I do the salt soaks and clean with dial. My husband joined the military, he went threw basic and I wrote to him almost everyday. Then tech school started and he met a female, long story short wen he finally came home from school He told me he wanted a divorce and wouldn't even give me a chance he said no to consoling and church and never really gave me a real reason for wanting to throw away 7 years for someone he only knew for 2 months. Well we were "broken up" for about 3 months, and in this time I sent him E-mails telling him how much I loved him, How much I miss him, etc. But he had this female sleep over at his dads house with him, they went everywhere together, they were constantly up each others butts. He was stationed in VA and moved all the way over there without me, He then tells me to come out and visit and then we both agree that the passed is the passed and we will both move on. So I get to VA , after an 8 hour flight ,when I get to the airport he doesn't even hug me, we go to the beach and I told him I was tired "because it was an overnight flight" and I could not sleep at all. It was all downhill from there, he says I'm bitching and I said, I didn't know me telling you how I felt was bitching, well anyways I was there for 2 weeks and in that time we fought almost everyday because he told me he was not talking to that female he met at tech school, but low and behold I find about 15 pictures of her saved on his phone and NO pictures of me on his phone. I went online and checked his AT&T bill and I noticed about 250 text messages in a week span, to a friend he no longer talks to, so I click on the name and of course this other females number is the one he hid under his old friends name. I found a letter in his car which he immediately pulled over wen we were driving to take it away from me before I could read it and threw it out the window. I was so mad! He claims he never cheated on me, and I constantly ask then why do you keep doing things that make you look so guilty?... Needless to say because of that fight he sent me home on the next flight and I told him we were done.... the next day I'm home and I get a long ass apology note from him and he sent flowers to my house, then he tells me he wants me to come back to VA so we can "really" work things out this time... I have a dream friend who was once I a "friend with benefits", named Ricky. He always seems to pop up whenever I call his name from boredom or to protect me from nightmares. Once he even got behind me and covered my eyes at a Family Reunion I was having in one of my dreams, and he got older! The first time I met Ricky was at the beach [ in a dream of course], I was on the boardwalk and their was a small amusement park near by. Ok, here's the problem well i take one shower in morning and @ night... but i believe either it dryed the heck out of my skin because it felt dry from soaps from being to clean i guess on my face well my sensitive areas on my face are like bright red all the time my nose and cheeks it's kinda sometimes gone but i pretty sure 98% that soap is been to drying and making it red irritated cuss i have senstive like rough skin... and it's like cracked and wrinklyish looking like... anyone that knows California, knows that there are beautiful areas to visit and live and know that there is a huge valley section of CA which outsiders don't realize that it is pretty much the armpit of CA. I grew up on this coastal city of CA and love the beach, I don't know life without the beach and when I visit area's like Bakersfield or Fresno, and the such extreme toxic difference of the heat and air quality and simply no beach around, all this above is relevant because it will have it's play in this question. 4 years ago is when I moved out and decided to live in this condo, the condo is literally 100 feet from the ocean crashing into the rocks and it was my dream to find this place. Most places anywhere in this city, town for a 2 bedroom condo, a good size two bedroom is going for 12-1800.00 a month. I got really lucky getting this place 4 years ago and my rent is 1400 a month is a good price and split between two, a bit cheaper for the roommate cause I have the master bedroom and my own bathroom. Her bedroom also has a sliding door to the balcony which is extreme ocean view and the bathroom which is down the hall way which also has a shower is hers, I don't keep anything of mine inside it, I told her she can do whatever she wishes with this bathroom. Her Dad wasn't very open with the idea of me being a guy but I am extremely clean and don't like clutter which she doesn't either, pretty much what I am saying is that she is a perfect hard to find roommate. Her dad met my parents and myself and checked out the whole place and over time we became friends, I am friends of her parents and we get along very well. This is a college town and she is going to college as am I and so we are just really good friends, we watch tv, movies together, she is like a sister to me and it has always been like this. Anyways I met this girl about 1 months ago now and when I told her I had a roommate she was oh how is he and, I was like no she, and she is a very good person and she just becomes extremely irrational about it. me and my roommate are night owls, we enjoy movies and share some hobbies and my gf is disrespectful and simply rude to her, screams whenever I bring up her name. I spend a lot of time with my gf. even though she has to get up early in the morning to work she stays up on purpose and just simply stares pretty much, doesn't pay attention to the movie and she never enjoys watching tv series and movies anyways so I do with my roommate. Same thing as a guy, I use to have a guy roommate and we would hang out, play games and stuff but he turned out to be a dead beat and started not to have money for rent. I just get extremely upset that she treats my roommate like this and said she is like a sister to me, a very good friend and I can't have you ruin this for me and have her move out. Her dad pays the rent and because he loves the location he pays me half for the place with bills included so I get a check for 900 a month which I wouldn't get from anyone else, so everything works out good except for the fact that my gf thinks it is not normal and absolutely crazy. I spend a lot of time to make the place look very nice, so first impression is like WOW this is paradise setting when really, yes it takes some money but I make it look like it because of class. The living room has my home theater and very large coral reef aquarium. my gf, her family is from fresno and she goes to school out there but works at a good job here in the city I am at so she is only here for 3-4 days a week and it is always about my roommate this an that, I don't get why she doesn't enjoy her company, my roommate makes attempts to be very nice to her, but I think my gif is just jealous cause 1) she is rich - so my gf is just envy of her. 2) she is very attractive but doesn't come chill on the couch wearing a shirt and panties so I don't know what her problem is, gf problem. Wow, I didn't expect this to be so long. Sorry... He's friends with one of my friends, so I went to the beach with a group of people and he was there. He intrigued me because 1. Not gonna lie, he's drop dead gorgeous and 2. He was kinda quiet and mysterious. I mostly just talked to my friend, because I knew her the most and was a little shy. Then after the beach, everyone came to my house to hang out. When I asked him if he was coming, he seemed excited to. Then most people left around 11:30, but that boy and 2 other boys stayed until 1:30. We just talked. They said the quiet boy seemed all cute, but he was a "little devil." Whatever that means. Then they were all making fun of my innocence (I don't drink, smoke, I hardly ever swear, I intend on staying a virgin until at least after high school etc.) and he put his hand on my knee (not creepily or anything) and said "It's really cute." looking right into my eyes. Then later he randomly said "I love you" to me. He was joking and all, but it was random. Then the other guys teased him saying "That's a little intense for a first date." Ok, I know this isnt that good(cause i know it isnt) and i dont particulary like the name steve either.. but what do you think? feel free to say anything you want or correction you want to make i dont care, You know that saying that says before you die, you see your whole life flash before your eyes? Well, this saying wasn’t entirely true for me. Maybe because I’m not dead yet or maybe it’s a dream. No, if this was a dream I probably would have woken up by now… I must be dead or dying at least. Anyway, for me I didn’t see my whole life flash before my eyes, I saw well something—well I guess you can say different. It all started 2 years ago, when my parents moved our whole family to Montana for work. They said that the old great west would be good for us, but all I saw was a bunch of barns and run down ranches in the middle of nowhere. Plus I didn’t get reception on my phone, so I couldn’t text my miserable new life to my best friend-Alica. our first afternoon at our "home" was horrible, I haven’t rode a horse in years, but now that’s pretty much my only transportation since both my parents were working that summer, which means they got the car, and I was stuck with my grandma and grandpa on their ranch. But, they did have a nice trail to explore...that’s where I met Steve. He had green, hazel eyes and dirty blond hair. Everything about him was I guess you can say perfect, almost too perfect. He reminded me of what I left behind back in California; my home, my friends, my school, my whole life and my two best friends ...Jake and Alicia. They were my whole life and we did everything together. Jake even saved my life once and wish he was here to do it again. Anyway, on a Saturday evening while I was getting used to riding my horse on Oak Trail, my horse bucked me off because she was spooked by a snake. Causing me to injure my ankle. That's when I met Steve. Luckily, he was riding on the same trail and found me. He offered to take me home that night and I thought that he was a nice guy. Though, there was something about him that I wish I would have found out sooner. Steve attached my horse sugar to his saddle and carefully guided us back to my grandparent’s ranch. He was different than what I imagined a boy who lives out in the middle of nowhere would be, but he was perfectly normal, well...normal isn’t how I would explain him now, but then he seemed like a average kid living in Montana. Anyway he helped me clean up and feed the horses, it wasn’t till now that I realized I know pretty much nothing about him, and he never had to be anywhere. I guess that explains a lot now, but I was too busy admiring his great listening skills to notice. My grandma said his was the nephew to old mr.granger. She said that mr.granger is an odd man, he plays his piano all day till starting at 6:00 am and ending at exactly 6:00 pm he barely stops to eat. She warned me about Steve, and now I wish I would have listened. That night I had a dream. I was in a forest. This forest had dark green pine trees and a small the creek that ran right through it. It was nearly dusk and the sun was quickly disappearing. Everything seemed to move much more quickly than usual because soon enough it was completely dark. Surprisingly, I didn’t feel tired but, very energetic. Then floating right in front of me, I saw something so beautiful and so unreal I couldn’t help look at it. This beautiful creature was a butterfly. It had huge wings that were a pale pink with splashes of gold sprinkled on the rim of each wing. The butterfly also, had one yellow spot in the center of its right wing and the center of its left wing. I know it doesn’t sound like anything unique but, it was. Unlike most butterflies, this butterfly had a glowing light that surrounded it much like a nightlight. Somehow, it put me in some kind of trance while I was walking because; before I knew it I was on a beach. Though, it was still dark, the twinkling stars that reflected on to the water made the beach glow. As, I walked closer to the water I saw a girl, who seemed unconscious, lying next to the water. There was also, a boy sitting on his knees next to her, looking now.
