Open Question: How long should we stay in Costa Rica for our honeymoon and what should we expect to spend?
We're planning on going in early November or early December. 3rd question-which month would be better? November is cheaper and better for us but maybe too rainy... I want to see Monteverde, hike through the cloud forrest and over the hanging bridges, zip line, see Arenal, relax in the hot springs, play a round of golf, ride horses on the beach and see both a black sand and a pink sand beach. Ambitious huh? I was hoping we could do all this for $3500 over 7-10 days. I've talked to 2 travel agents than seem to think our budget might be tight but then I hear about people visiting for a week for $1000... So how long do you think we should plan on for a relaxed trip and will $3500 cover it? Also are the beaches better on the Pacific or Caribbean side? Well to start this off im sorry that this is sooo long but please read it... Last night i had my best friend, his gf, and my other best friend who is a girl over to spend the night. It was a normal day, we went to the beach yada yada yada, The twist to the normal day was it was like a begining of summer celebration for us 4. Which include some Vodka. I have a gf currently and she is in costa rica but i planned on breaking up with her soon because things aint working out. My gf is best friends with the 3 people i have spending the night. Back to the vodka part... we went to the park and started to play the "i never game" but every time a person has done something they would take a shot of vodka... we played the game for awhile till my best friend and his gf was like okay we are done so me and my other best friend still played the game but in a distance. Me and her always had this chemistry, we went on a date a summer ago and we almost kissed but i chickend out and she told me she regrets that i dint kiss her and i said the same and from that point on we became best friends over a course of a year rather than date... so back to the drinking game.. she kept on saying "i never..." things that would make me drink for sure, so it was like she was trying to get me real drunk. I was like okay so i have a gf so im guna try and play it smart. Later in the game she starts putting her hands through my pantlegs of my shorts and just like messageing my leg kinda thing while we were playing the game... I tryed to ignore it even though i wanted to act on it as in kissing her but i thought hey i have a gf even though i really want to break up with her... So then she gets close and puts her head on my shoulder then slowly works her way up to my neck and starts to give me a hickey.. so then on im like ughh this is soo nice and then i just started to kiss her back and it escalated from there and when we got back to my house me and her had sex for 2hrs with my other 2 friends distant in the other room but yet they heard like everything. So yeah me and my best friend had sex even though earlier that month she told me that she doesnt want to leed me on cuz she just wants to be friends and she considers me her brother and what not but yet we had sex. In the morning it was still alittle touchy feely till she realized what she done which was she just had sex with her best friends boyfriend and basically me and her was like bro and sis... my other friends that spent the night knew what happend and confronted her and told her that she better tell my gf what happend that night or they will, so she cried and yada yada and i felt real bad and now i dont know what to think. I know now that im going to break up with my gf but i still have feelings for my best friend that i just had sex with. I know she has feelings for me too but i dont know if this was a one time thing or whatever. she goes on to act like nothing happend yet she really doesnt respond to me when i try to talk to her. Should i try n talk to her? should i leave her alone for now? Does she have feelings for me and if so how do i make it work? She isnt a slut and this was only her 2nd time having sex... I want to make it work but i dont know how is pretty much what im saying. Thanks for the help and reading all of this. Much appreciated. moreVoting Question: Needs advice really really bad =(?

My boyfriend and I are flying to Costa Rica this month. We are staying for 10 days and want to stay on the Pacific side. We both love to have fun, are adventurous, surf, enjoy just enough night life, want to see the beaches and the mountains. What city/town/area would you recommend staying in considering all those things. I don't want to stay in towns that are too Americanized or commercialized but we don't want to be completely alone either. Happy median? moreResolved Question: In Costa Rice we're looking for cute & reasonable inns near lots of activity and also near the beach?
We are headed to Costa Rica in December for our 2 week Honeymoon. I am thinking we may do a "package tour" for our first week with Sunquest. The remaining week we'd like to travel around a bit doing some adventure activities and then the last few nights relaxing on the beach at an all-inclusive. We're wanting to go when it's green but not too wet but not too hot. Any knowledge helps. moreResolved Question: I need help with my english work please?!?!!?
Read the following passage either aloud or to yourself, looking for the following five mistakes: 1-fragement, 1-comma splice, 1- missing capital letter, 1- missing apostrophe, and 1- verb mistake: When I was nineteen, I lived in Costa rica for a few months. This beautiful country is filled with fruits and flowers growing everywhere. The country is also blessed with rain forests, mountains, and inactive volcanoes. One of my favorite memories are of a time I stayed overnights on the beach with some friends. At about midnights, we decided to stand waist-deep in the warm ocean water. A gentle rain began to fall, we could see lightning flashing in the clouds miles away. Suddenly, we all gasped in amazement. Lines of flickering green light were dancing across the tops of the waves. As they rolled toward us. We learned later that the light was caused by tiny glowing animals which live on the oceans surface. That night was a magical time for us. I appreciate all of your help and thank you very much in advance! moreResolved Question: Planning a trip to Costa Rica and I'm trying to find a a great town close to the rain forrest AND?

I'm getting married next month on the beach in Costa Rica, and I have to send a picture of a bouquet that I like. My dress is light ivory color. My fiance will be wearing his Army dress blue uniform. A group of 6 people are looking for a wonderful coastal city in Costa Rica. A beach house would be perfect, around an area with a bunch of activities (jet ski's, kayaking, national parks (not more than 2 hours away, swim able waters), and the possibility to enjoy the night life (restaurants, shops, clubs). Not looking to stay in a metropolitan area, for why would you go to Costa Rica to stay in the city. Cheap cheap cheap. College students don't need extensive luxury, we just want to enjoy Costa Rica for it's natural beauty, activity, and explore the culture. Any and all suggestions would be appreciated. Whether it be what to see, where to stay, where to eat, local hidden gems, and monkeys! =p Thanks a lot ahead of time. moreResolved Question: Where is the 'secret' entrance to Playa Blanca in Costa Rica?
We are visiting Costa Rica later in the year and I read about the "best" beach to visit there, Playa Blanca. Is it a secluded beach in Costa Rica? A cabin on a mountain lake? An environmental journey helping others? Is it that tropical swimming hole that nobody knows about? What is your idea of Paradise? www.paradisehunter.com moreResolved Question: Experiences Studying Abroad in Costa Rica?
I am a very dedicated student, and am going to study abroad in Costa Rica in June. From what I've seen so far, returning students seem to treat it like an extra-long spring break. I've heard that the beaches are wonderful, and the nightlife is wild, but nothing about the real culture. I don't know- that doesn't sit well with me. I'm interested in the spanish language, as well as the lives and customs of the Costa Rican people, not the clubs or touristy spots. Since it seems like a lot of people study abroad in Costa Rica at one time or another, I was wondering what your time there was like, and what was the ratio of actual learning experiences to vacation/party type experiences? moreResolved Question: Can I get satellite internet for my laptop?

Thanks. moreResolved Question: Trip with good friends to Costa Rica, which city by the ocean is better, and for things to do?
Myself and a few friends, probably 10 girls in all, are deciding to go on vacation to Costa Rica. We've been looking at places all over the world, but majority vote was for Costa Rica. Now that we have a place determined, we're looking at safe, clean, low crime-rate cities next to the ocean (on either side). I've been looking at Samara, Tamarindo, and Puerto Jimenez, as the main 3 we should be considering. I'm all for the sandy beaches, picking shells on the beach, looking into the culture, visiting any attractions (good shopping, zip lines, ruins, waterfalls, parks, etc.). I was wondering what city you recommend, it's safety, etc., and why. The best time (we're looking at the summer of 2011, since we'll be having University vacation time). What attractions we could go see/do. And the best place to stay, hotel, or resort wise (we're budget conscious, the cheaper the better, but the safer and nicer the better too). moreResolved Question: Surf camps/surf lessons in Mexico? I'm a surf photographer looking for some work and surf. Any locations?
I'm looking for surf camp(s) with good tourism. As much as I love those hidden little camps in undeveloped areas, I need a town with tourism so I have more people and opportunities to photograph beginner - advanced surfers. Surf Camps and places that offer surf lessons are best. I've done Jaco and Tamarindo beaches in Costa Rica, but now it's time for Mexico. I tried Manzanillo, mexico last year and it was alright, but not enough tourists to sell to. Any suggestions? Thanks for your help! moreResolved Question: I'm going to Costa Rica for 10 days what should i do?

My wife and I have been to Aruba, Jamaica, Cancun, and Costa Rica. We are trying to decide between trying something new or going back to Aruba. We are currently looking into St. Martin mostly, but will consider alternate suggestions. The things we love about Aruba: Direct, nonstop flights from DC; it's relatively safe - you don't see guys walking around with machine guns patrolling the borders of your hotel/compound; Awesome restaurants and food; beautiful beaches and snorkeling; excellent bus system-cheap and easy so you don't need a rental car; plus casinos and nightlife. We are looking at St.Martin because they also have direct flights from DC, but we will consider other destinations too. Does anyone have an opinion on where we should go?Yes, we've been to the Mediterranean and would love to go back but airfare right now is a bit outrageous.
