Open Question: Why do hot Black girls like me get hotter White guys than White girls and Asian girls?

Anyone who disagrees is one of the ugly White guys who can't get a Black girl. My last few boyfriends were super hot, and said White girls were boring and superficial to them. The first one's name was Holden and he was tall, looked like a jock with blonde hair and blue eyes like a Viking God. He looked like Chad Michael Murray. I met him at the mall and he was just the sexiest guy ever! >Then the second was Brandon and he was blonde and lived in a big house on the beach. He broke up with his White girlfriend for me and we dated for a while, but I got bored with him quick because he was a chauvanist and had a boring personality. >>Then there was Thomas, who was a musician and he was HOT. He looked like a mix of the singer from Nickelback but hotter. We both liked the same things, but he went away to college after we were together for a year. >>>Then there was Mike, who looked Spanish. He had long brown hair and perfectly tan skin and a smile with perfect White teeth. I met him in Northern California and he was a party boy, but said I was too nice of a girl to pass up so we dated. He works on the boardwalk out there and is so d a m n hot. He said he liked Black girls better because we have better bodies and are nicer to him. We dated for a long time until I moved. This always happens. I can get any guy I want. The Asian girls get the ugly computer nerds, and the White girls get the boring guys.& this is a feat because there are FEW Hot White guys out there, trust me. more

Open Question: Why do libs say that there is global warming when it has been freezing this week?

I step outside my house and you would swear it's autumn already ---it's windy, it rained two days ago and it's been overcast for nearly a week, hardly a sign of global warming! Look at states like Montana and North Dakota in December ----no evidence of global warming ---it snows all the time. Why do liberals keep up this charade and not admit that global warming is a fraud? How can they keep this up when every year we see snow and sleet in the Northern United States? I have yet to see a beach and palm trees open up on the US/Canada border. If liberals are honest, how come Alaska doesn't look like Palm Springs? more

Resolved Question: What is the perfect career for me based on my personality?

In the following, I want to tell you about myself. “You should become an architect,” a curvaceously hot chick said to me after examining my portfolio of buildings and other artworks. Sometime before the hot chick scenario, a dude, who was the greatest athlete (according to his awards and wins) of the school, mentioned to my peers, “He (I) will be on the cover of Forbes magazine.” “...The student of the year award goes to,” one of the teacher announced, “John Bytheway (my pseudonym).” Out of all the great things that happened to me, I also had plenty of failures and flaws. For instances, I did not graduate high school with an Honor Diploma. My weighted GPA was below 4.0. Lastly, I am a low self-esteem kid who has an unhealthy social life. To conclude, I want the perfect career that fits my personality. I want to become a millionaire. Ever since I was young, I wanted to drive a nice car(s) and live in a big house (mansions). When a Lamborghini, Ferrari, or Mercedes drove by, I always stared and imagined what it would be like to drive such cars. I used to lived adjacent to a law firm. Everyday, I saw BMWs, Porches, and Mercedes. I told my mother that I wanted to be like those lawyers. While walking from the bus stop to my house one day, I looked up at a glamorously superficial condominium. I desired to live there. It looked so expensive and materialistic. When I was a kid, I always took challenges such as swimming naked in deep rivers, exploring terra incognita (according to the general population), and climbing tall trees. I want more of those. I want to jump out of an airplane and accelerate towards the Earth; I want to feel the terminal velocity (Of course, I also want to pull the parachute before I land.); I want to tie a rope to my feet and jump off a cliff; I want to summit the tallest mountain. There is nothing like jumping out of your comfort zone and stop thinking and worrying about the hectic life. It is so much fun to let go of your thoughts. My feet had been stepped only on three countries. Living in the United States for seven-and-a-half year is irksome. I want to step outside of this soil and visit all of the seven continents. I want to see the northern (or southern) light; I want to summit the Pyramid of Giza; I want to visit the palace of Taj Mahal; I want to ride a motorcycle along the trail of the Great Wall; I want to make out with a French prostitute on the Eiffel tower; I want to dance on the beaches of Mexico with beautiful women; I want to boat along the river of Amazon and explore the jungle; I want to travel the world. During the beginning of my sophomore year at high school, me and my family was evicted out of our apartment. That experience changed the course of my life. My mother had to call her friend, who lived near by, and we had to live with her. We (me, my mother, and my elder brother) shared the living room, while the host family shared the single bedroom. They took us under their wings. They were really nice people. They cooked everyday and always asked us to eat with them. (The husband used to be a Buddhist monk.) Before my sophomore year, I always performed bad in school. All of my report cards were a bowl of C's, D's, and F's. I did occasionally get an A or two, and I was really happy. One day, on the first quarter of my sophomore year, the report came out. My science teacher stared at my report card and said, “Wow.” He then handed it to me. I was the only one in class whom received straight A's. From then one, I get a couple more of all A's report cards. The straight A's report cards introduced me to one thing that I truly love. That true love of mine is neither women nor money, although they are possible candidates for my future love life. My true, may be even the unconditional, love is (drum roll) Education. I truly love Education. The period that I lived with the divine family, I learned that education is the thing that will make me successful (financially and everything else), happy, and a good person of the society. The Goddess, Education, gave me wings and taught me how to fly (Please don't use the quotation without citing.). This love of mine, steered me into pursuing a Bachelor's degree. I never thought in my life that I would be going to college. Yet I will be attending a university this upcoming fall. When I go to college, I want to study architecture, business, or engineering. I want to study architecture, because I deem that I am good at the subject. When people cannot go to sleep, some of them counts sheep; some of them counts numbers. Unlike them, I visualize shapes and imagine ways to put them together in order to create a harmony of beauty and function. People have told me that I should be an architect. Sometimes, I just want to work in a bank or be a CEO. Some of the reasons are: money (greed), power, and leadership. Like I said, I want to be a millionaire. I guess I can say that money and power are relatedI also want to lead. I feel that responsibility and the power to lead without abusing shape an ordinary man into extraordinary. The subject of money led me into investing. I have a dream that I am a tycoon in a field of investment, whether it's stock, real estate, foreign currency, or alternatives. I just feel like I want to rule the stock market. There are some people I like; there are some I don't like; but I get along with them well. However, I feel that I should break off from the society sometime and work independently as an entrepreneur (just for developing ideas), inventor, or scientist. I feel like getting away and live on a deserted place. I always thought that greed is my biggest sin, and lust is my second biggest. Turns out, lust might be my biggest sin. A few months ago when I attended in high school, I looked at many beautiful women and wanting to have intercourse with all of them. I do not prefer which one. Black, white, yellow, fat, skinny, whatever, as long as theyare attractive to me, I want them all. The furthest thing I got from a girl was a friendly cuddle (ugh). Although I may be an idealist (not much of a realist) and a total pervert (may be a creep), I do want to get married and have a few children. There are some girls in my mind that I truly like, but I never get a chance to really know them. I never have the materials to take them out on a nice date. I think that might have to do with me wanting to become a millionaire. May be it isn't greed after all that makes me want to be rich, but the desire to meet new people; may be it just me wanting to find the love greater than Education. I admit that I am a superficial and greedy pervert, but that is not for you to judge. I am asking for your help in order to determine what are some careers for me based on my personality, failures, successes, and skills. more

Resolved Question: Do Pakistanis and Blacks get along in London?

Just asking if they get along. I saw on CNN news how the gangs in London are. And i notice that majority of the gangs are Asians and Blacks. I think when they were referring to Asians they meant Indians and Pakistanis. So i just want to know if this gang get along. I know that in L.A Latino gangs often fight against African Americans. And in some areas Samoans and African Americans fight. In Long Beach California lots of Asians gangs of Cambodian descent fought against a Latino gang called "East Side Longo". And i didn't know until now but some Mexican gang don't get along with Armenians in Hollywood. In jail Whites and Mexicans fought against BLacks and Northern Californian Mexican Americans. So how is it in London. Are they gangs or racially divided gangs. more

Voting Question: Photoshoot ideas for male subject?

Okay my first photoshoot is coming up & I am shooting a man so I don't have many ideas. Women & girls are much easier for me to come up with ideas for since I'm a woman. What are some good poses for men or types of locations? A bit of a background, I am shooting a man, mid to late twenties & he's a rapper. We are located in northern Japan, it is a rural area but there are some taller buildings off the military base we are at, a couple of beaches, and shrines. I would like to find a brick wall somewhere because I'd like to use that as a background in some but I haven't really seen one around here. Any suggestions are appreciated.I don't like to use flash, the only flash I have is built in. I don't have any lighting equipment but I do enjoy using natural light & a lot of these will be taken outside. As for equipment I will post a list of cameras & lenses I have below. About the grafitti, yeah I would love to find a wall with that around here but I will have to ask him if he knows of one because I've never seen anything like that around here. As for my experience, I have been shooting for 4 years, with DSLRs for 2+ years. For shots of people mine are mostly candids or self portraits & I've been told that my self portraits are good so I know I would do great shooting other people & I'm ready for that now.Cameras: Pentax K100D Nikon D3000 Lenses: Pentax-DA 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 Sigma zoom 100-300mm f/4.5-6.7 AF-S DX Nikkor 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VR AF-S DX Zoom-Nikkor 55-200mm f4-5.6G ED& also I'm going to be buying a new lens soon. Resolved Question: what is your opinion on this?

Effects of Spill Spread as Tar Balls Are Found By CAMPBELL ROBERTSON NEW ORLEANS — All along the Gulf Coast for the past two months, the threat of oil hitting shore has kept communities on edge. But the sight of oil on a Texas beach and at the passes leading into Lake Pontchartrain over the weekend has reinforced what many already suspected: nowhere along the coast may be left unstained by this huge spill. While the tar balls discovered in Texas appear to have been an anomaly, the tar balls in Lake Pontchartrain, a brackish body of water that is technically an estuary of the Gulf of Mexico, are another sign of the oil’s steady encroachment into inland Louisiana waters. Houses, marinas, restaurants and businesses line the lake, as does much of New Orleans. Local officials, including the mayor of New Orleans, had already taken measures like setting up barges to block the passes. Kevin Davis, the president of St. Tammany Parish, which lies along much of the north shore of the lake, has compared the wait for the oil to the “Jaws” music signaling a coming attack. Strong easterly winds, which are expected to continue, most likely pushed the tar balls in from the Mississippi Sound, bypassing the barges, said Anne Rheams, the executive director of the Lake Pontchartrain Basin Foundation. Once the small, heavily weathered tar balls came, crews went to work, gathering roughly 1,700 pounds of oily waste. But the fear has not dissipated. “When you look at the trajectories and you look at the wind patterns, we know that more of it will be moving in,” Ms. Rheams said. In Texas, the discovery of tar balls on beaches around Galveston was the first reports of oil on the state’s coast since the spill began. And with confirmation that the tar balls were from the BP spill, Texas joined every other Gulf Coast state in facing the spill’s impact. But at a news conference on Tuesday, Jerry Patterson, the Texas land commissioner, said the tar balls were only slightly weathered, suggesting that the oil had not drifted so far on its own. It is possible that the oil had leaked from a ship involved in the cleanup, he said, as some of the oil-water mix collected during the response operation is being taken to a processing company near Galveston. The Coast Guard is still conducting tests. For now, many people who live and work along the Texas coast say they are not in a panic, adding that tar balls wash up all the time. But that does not mean they think this will be the end of it. “I figure they’ve got their head buried in the sand if they don’t think we’re going to get it over here,” said Carol Dickerson, who works at Blue Water Bait Camp in Crystal Beach, Tex. “There’s just too much oil, and I know that we’re going to get it eventually.” The worries in New Orleans are more immediate. Since the spill began, the city has been in a difficult situation. It has become the headquarters for the area command and is frequently the backdrop for news reports. But the city has constantly had to give geography refreshers to hesitant tourists, reminding them that New Orleans has no beachfront and is a two-hour drive from the state’s southern coast, where most of the oil has washed up. Those messages are now more complicated. “The situation changes a little bit now that tar balls have hit the lake,” said Kelly Schulz, a vice president of the New Orleans Convention and Visitors Bureau. “We’re working on that as we speak.” The counterclockwise currents in Lake Pontchartrain suggest that if oil did enter in heavier concentrations, it would travel along the lake’s northern coast, which is heavily populated in some areas, before coming back around to New Orleans, Ms. Rheams said. Most of the lake, which is becoming a last refuge for the area’s hurting fishermen, remains open to fishing. But Greg Henry, who runs a charter boat company in New Orleans, said he was forced to put an end to his fishing trips in nearby Lake Borgne. He said he was going to have to stick to party cruises, at least as long as the water stayed clean. “I just don’t want to start doing tours of oil,” Mr. Henry said. “That’s not something I want to show people.” http://www.nytimes.com/2010/07/07/us/07s…yeahh i expect people to read this article and give their opinion. I can't know other people's opinion on this article of the effects of the BP oil spill? more

Henry said. “That’s not something I want to show people.” http://www.nytimes.com/2010/07/07/us/07spill.html more

Voting Question: Anyone feel like reading something I wrote?

It's not conventional but whatever. In fact, it's not much. If you care to read, I would appreciate it. You are free to say anything you like, be as brutal as you wish about your thoughts. Here it is: The watch clicked dully three times and then fell silent on his wrist. He hardly glanced at this distraction from his haste as he strode broadly along the beaches of the island he had regretfully found himself on. Popular tourist attractions dismayed him, frankly because he disliked crowds of people who came to see the overly pleasant, mostly fictional side of the world without bothering to change anything in the brutal remainder of the rest of it. And yet, he had coarsely been dragged on some sort of preposterous voyage, a preposterous voyage of time better spent doing just about anything else. A trip of pleasure to a human-filled island of false and temporary paradise overcast by the prospect of some cheery tourist gathering on the northern face of the resort that evening at midnight. It was not at all to his liking. Of course, it had been his own family that had forced him at gun point to use the cheap palm tree bespectacled ticket for bliss he had received in the mail one rainy afternoon a month before. He snorted righteously. Of course, if his family had known him at all, they might have suggested he take a vacationing trip to his local homeless shelter to help fund winter boarding or something useful instead. But, in the end, it had been the Bahamas with a plane full of awe-inspired city goers who had also won the contest and were lucky enough to spend a week doing absolutely nothing productive. more

Resolved Question: Moving to Northern California?

I am going to be moving to Northern California in about a year or so and was wondering what are the best areas to check out? I am looking for a small(ish) city (50,000-80,000 pop) with great weather all year, stuff to do..i.e. coffe shops, bookstore, local bands, and where the people are a little less conservative than in the Midwest (where I live now). I am not looking for an L.A. lifestyle....but a nice place with stuff to do and maybe semi close to the beach...I know housing prices are higher the closer you are to the beach. I will be renting an apartment. It will be just me by myself so a safe area would be great also! I know nowhere is safe anymore...but there are some cities that are more safe than others. I am currently in college and will be getting my MSW in California. I will eventually be a LCSW, so if anyone has any insight on the pay range of this field in some areas I would really appreciate it. Thanks for taking the time to read my question! :) more

Resolved Question: Looking for help with our Road Trip Honeymoon?!?

My fiance and I are getting married in April 2011, and we are planning to leave on our honeymoon the 2nd week in May. We are taking off for a couple weeks and going on a Road Trip! We live in South East Michigan and plan on driving into Northern California, driving South on the Pacific Coast Highway until L.A. From there we will spend a few days in Vegas and then Head back Home. We don't necessarily plan on stopping everywhere for a couple days...we mainly want to drive South on the PCH for the views...I hear they are incredible. I would like our main stays to be a couple days each on a couple beach cities and a couple days in Vegas. The rest we will just be stopping, sight seeing, etc. Does anyone have any suggestions for us??? Places we just HAVE to see, restaurants along the way we HAVE to try??? I really appreciate any input. Thanks ( : more

Resolved Question: Anyone from California!!!?

Hey - I'm from northern Canada... one of my dream vacations has always been to rent a convertible and drive the California coast line and party on the beaches - watch the sunset - do some surfing... What's a good time of year to do this? How long would it take to drive the length of California? What are good places to stop at along the way? more

Resolved Question: What to do in Seattle on a visit?

I was thinking of getting my mom and my sister to Seattle from northern California for a visit to Seattle sometime in July, likely around the 4th of July. me and my sister are both teenagers, under 18. I'm wondering what I and the other two can do during that time, and I believe there are fireworks around the Space Needle at that time, right? what are good things to do that aren't too costly? I'm interested in seeing downtown of the city and its' city life, doing a little hiking and just a tiny bit of sightseeing, visiting a museum or two, riding and a ferry, visiting a beach, and also visiting the Chinatown (which I guess is now called the International District and is more of several Asian ethnic groups). We may be there for about two days or so. The only large city I'm familiar with is San Fran, so I'm wondering how similar they are? more

Resolved Question: any suggestions on a northern Indiana vacation?

Hello, I'm wanting to take a short vacation and we're considering running up to northern Indiana. maybe the first day check out the Duesenberg and football museums in South Bend, then perhaps Notre Dame and the river walk, then the next day head over to the dunes national beach, then maybe on to Chicago. Is there anything I need to catch in that part of the state? is 1 day in South Bend enough? Is 1 day enough for the Dunes National lakeshore? How is the swimming there in July/August Are there any neat boat tours out on the water? Would Lake Erie be a better lake to visit? any other suggestions? thanks Steven more
