Me and my partner have decided to get married in May 2010 when we are on holiday in Salou but I have no idea where to start looking to get things organised? We want a beach wedding and it will be an intimate ceremony with only me, my fiance and our daughter who will be 2 at the time. Any help would be greatly appreciated :) xxx more

Resolved Question: Best place to go in Greece in October?

Hi i have been to skiathos in greece when i was quite young. me and my partner are looking to go this october. Ideally we are looking for an area quite close but not in an busy town, nice beaches/views, quite quiet (not full of college students etc) but with good shops and connections to possibly explore other parts of the island. we recently went to tunisia and it was way too quiet keeping us busy for only 2 out of the 7 days and went we went to spain the area Salou was WAY too touristy!! Can anyone help :) more

i visited Prague about 8 years ago it was a great place went again two weeks ago and it is full of pissed up brits fighting on the streets and prostitutes for us brits to fuck , i have been to Thailand same story there , i went to a place in australia called coogee beach were all the brits get pissed same thing there salou in Spain Ibiza Goa , i hang my head in shame where ever we go in large numbers you find drink drugs sex and violence more

We don't want to go somewhere typical (common) where people drink 24-7 and there are loads of loud-mouthed British people who will swear lots and only eat full English breakfast and fish and chips. I am British btw! We want somewhere nice and relaxing, with nice beaches and culture, things to do, but with some night life. We want to share an apartment or get hotel rooms. Obviously we have a budget and want to just spend a few hundred pounds each. Basically...An alternative to Benidorm, Majorca, Salou etc Thanks! more

Resolved Question: looking for good hotels in Salou?

me and my boyfriend are planning to go to salou next june/july, i have been looking into various hotels and reading peoples reviews but i still havent found the one that i think is best. we would like to go half board but the hotel rooms dont have to be AMAZIING as such because we wont be spending our whole holiday in the room. we would like a hotel in the centre of salou and close by the beach, where you have a selection of good food (as i am quite a fussy eater!) and good entertainment. if anyone has any ideas of where we could stay or mabye list your own experiences good/bad that would help us very much. thank you xi will be 19yrs and my boyfriend will be 21 yrs at the time. we are looking for something not very expensive. more

Hi everyone, me and a few mates are going to Salou in spain at the beginning of june (8th -> 15th). Was woundering if anyone knew what bars and expecially what night clubs there are?? Would love to see some pics of what to expect and/or websites of the night clubs and bar. Want some good fun and some drunken times on this holiday so any suggestions welcome, (beach parties, foam parties, big night clubs etc).
