Open Question: Surgeon Tech. Schooling. Conway/Myrtle beach area?

Me & my boyfriend recently moved down to Conway, South Carolina from NY. I am interested in taking the one year coarse i beleive in order to become a surgeon tech. I was wondering if any hospitals, schools or training centers offer this around the Conway/ Myrtle beach area. Ive been searching the internet to find out but I can't find anything. I figured somebody out there might know & be able to help me out. I eventually wanna finish my nursing but I have to wait a year to get financial aid due to the fact that im not a South Carolina resident yet. Now the town is a small sleepy little town where everyone knows everyone, but a charming small town. The town is near the ocean and has a board walk that stretches out into the water. Resolved Question: Drivers insurance question?

so i'm 15, with a permit, and my mom and dad are divorced. My mom doesn't have insurance that lets me drive so i can't drive with her. But i drive when i visit my dad every 2 weeks. He has the same insurance as her, but he says that since he doesn't live with me, I could drive his car with the same insurance as hers and not get in trouble if the police stop me. Is this true? I live in Myrtle beach, South Carolina by the way. And if its not true, what would happen if I get stopped by a police and i'm driving a car with my dad by me and i don't have the right car insurance for me to drive? if I didn't know he didn't have it would he get in trouble or him? I've lived in Ohio for 18 years of my life and my fiance and I are ready to start our lives elsewhere. We don't want to move too far away from family, so I say no more than 10 hrs max. We enjoy living in a urban area; close to restaurants, shopping, entertainment. We have to be in a safe environment! We want a state that is more on the liberal side because we are in a same sex relationship, we also like diversity (where everyone is accepted). We want a very clean state, something very modern and not old and boring. We have looked searched a few states, such as Virginia, South Carolina, North Carolina. **We would like to be near a beach, not too close (Drivable distance *2 hrs*) **A place with many job opportunities (we are aware of the recession at the moment) **Friendly people **City life (not too busy like NY) Please someone give me suggestions because it's crunch time and we are needing to move within one month. Basically once we find the perfect state for us, we'll only be visiting one time so we'll need it to catch our eyes and attention. Thanks so much guys!Also another thing that we need is warm weather to go swimming and fun things to be outside. I do not want it to get too hot and I hate humidity. Resolved Question: What kind of fossil is this? I found it on a beach.?

I found a fossil in South Carolina at Myrtle Beach in a river. I believe a medium sized yacht that had passed by soon before I found the fossil, had taken the fossil from the bottom to the surface of the river where it gathered with a bunch of rocks. When I first saw it I had believed it was a small snake curled up in a ball. When I got closer to examine it I realized it was a white shell with green allergy in between the ridges giving it a snake scale appearance. The shells shape looks a bit like a cross between a hermet crab and a oyster. Inside the shell is a beautiful brown and black mystery ball and around it is sparkly brown hard dirt that has turned into rock. What do you think this was? more

I was wondering if anyone knew of good places to stop on the way to North myrtle beach in south carolina. Ok, me and my best friend live in Green Bay, Wisconsin right now. Going to school. Granted its a very nice place to live, very safe here we just want to get out its boring, its more a family oriented town rather than a student area. Our goal is to be gone by next year. We need YOUR help with first off picking a state, once we have our state picked we'll ask to which areas to live in. We would prefer a place that is safe, stuff to do (beach, a clean bar atmosphere, etc.) Also most importantly affordable. We also wouldn't mind a more warm place, because lets face it Wisconsin winters are nothing to brag about. OK, so I'm going to South Carolina in 3 days. Most likely I will have my period. Yay. We will be going to the beach. Myrtle Beach, (and Charleston area) actually. There really aren't a lot of reported attacks, but there was a very recent case, like, a week ago at Myrtle. So, before, I was excited because if I happened to leak, nobody would see it. But, now I'm worried the sharks will. I will be wearing a tampon, but I'm still freaked out because after researching, there are about as many negative sides as there are positive. Okay, so I just moved down to South Florida (Palm Beach County) with my boyfriend from Connecticut and I absolutely hate it here. I grew up in New England and my boyfriend grew up down in Florida so he loves it here, but i'm looking for a comprise for both of us so we can both be happy when we start raising a family. So my question is which would be the better state to live in to raise a family? I already asked this but all the answers were given thumbs downs and... yeah. I'm on vacation with my family and a friend. We're sixteen and my mom lets us drink Mikes Hard Lemonade because... it's not really a big deal. We're not drinking it to get drunk or be cool, we're just drinking it because we're on vacation and it tastes good. We were walking on the beach for a night walk though and we each had a bottle and then these guys came up to us and they told us that this guy we passed was a cop. I assumed it was because we are clearly underage and clearly drinking something. We weren't being stupid though, we were just walking up and down the beach. I'm just curious, say there was a cop who came up to us while we were walking on the beach drinking Mikes Hard Lemonade, how much trouble could we get in? I know where I come from it wouldn't be a big deal but some states are weird about things so I'm not sure and I don't want to get in huge trouble over something so stupid. Just curious. Thanks! more

Tonight I went to the beach with my friend, just for a night walk to go hang out. We're only sixteen but we had Mikes Hard Lemonade. It wasn't a big deal, we weren't getting drunk we were just... drinking a bottle of mikes hard lemonade lol?? I don't know how else to say it. My mom let us so it wasn't a big deal. Then we passed this guy who was dressed pretty formally to be walking on the beach at night, but we walked passed him and I was like well what ever. Then these guys came up to us and were like "hey that guy back there was a cop", i guess because we are clearly underage and are clearly drinking an "alcoholic beverage" haha. We're in South Carolina, so I was just wondering like how big of a deal it is??
