Please help me find some cheap lodging between 150-200 a week with tax. I would prefer an extended stay hotel or motel. It doesn't even matter if the place is crappy and in the ghetto, if Austin even has a ghetto! If you can help me I would like to thank you in advance! Thanks!

I am going to be going on vacation to see some friends and I won't be able to stay with them. I will be gone for about 1-2 months and I am trying to keep the cost low, under 600 a month perferably.
I am thinking about either really cheap mote, weekly discount motel, monthly discount motel and or extended stay. Or possibly a month to month apartment place.
My friends are in woodland so I am looking into anything in between there roughly 30-40mins away.

We have visited several mobile home parks and they all say that they do not rent trailers; however, they all all offer to sell us one. We have family that are visiting for an extended period and figured we would come out cheaper renting a mobile home than for them to stay in a hotel/motel. Hi there. I've come across a couple of similar questions, but with differing answers. Basically, my Mum 2 younger brothers and I will be moving to California shortly. I don't know how long we will be there, maybe a month or two, or maybe more.
Hence I was thinking we'd live in an extended-stay motel or something, then if we still live there, move to an apartment or condo.
However, I have about the high costs of living, and was hoping that someone could tell me where would be a good city/area to go to, somewhere not too expensive, is safe and has access to facilities (ie, not in the middle of nowhere)
If the area is good for tech jobs, all the better.

I am moving to Las Vegas on June 22, and need to find a safe, clean, and relatively cheap extended stay (with kitchen or kitchenette) to stay in until I find a permenant apartment.
I am staying at various big hotels on the strip for two months (gotta love comps), but after that I need to find an extended stay motel. I don't want to sign a lease until I am sure I want to stay there.
Many people have told me to stay away from the motels by the stip due to crime and drugs.
Any suggestions? Some names I have read about are Sportsman Manor, Town and Country Manor, and Budget Suites.
