Los Angeles Convention Center Questions asked

Resolved Question: How can the US give 20 million illegals amnesty & the dream act when this country is going broke?

In Arizona, a cash-pinched legislature put the Capitol building up for sale, proposing to lease it back for state use. In the small Colorado town of Colorado Springs, officials shut off half the street lamps and one-third of the traffic lights, told residents who wanted short grass in public parks to bring their own lawnmowers, and auctioned off a police helicopter on eBay. Around the country, libraries have been shuttered, after-school programmes have been curtailed, mental health services have been decimated. In Los Angeles, the nation's second largest metropolis, the Democratic mayor, Antonio Villaraigosa, addressed a full session of the city council on 9 February to detail just how grim the city's finances had become. Miguel Santana, the city administrative officer (the CAO is the mayor and council's chief financial adviser) had recently informed the mayor's office that LA was facing a $200m shortfall through the end of this financial year and another half billion dollar-plus shortfall in the years to come if it didn't radically, and rapidly, restructure its budget. Santana didn't mince words. His nearly 300-page report (pdf) opened with this stark warning: The job losses are adding to LA's already great economic pain – the city has a more than 11% unemployment rate; even with progressives occupying key positions in the city's political leadership, the evisceration of core public services will, over the years to come, impact the quality of life of most Angelenos; and the privatisation of venues such as the zoo and the convention centre will harm the city's long-term ability to raise sufficient revenue to meet its growing needs. http://www.guardian.co.uk/commentisfree/cifamerica/2010/feb/25/financial-crisis-useconomy more

Resolved Question: What's the best and cheapest way to go to the Los Angeles Convention Center from Bakersfield for Anime Expo?

at first, there was no problem at all!!! i was planning on car pooling with a friend and with her friends but then her friends had some issues with the whole hotel thing, there would of been 3 or 4 girls and me, a guy, i know guys would be thinking that i'm a lucky son of a gun!!! i thought the same thing too!!! gi gi gi lol but i guess they just don't feel comfortable with it even though i wouldn't really do anything to them!!! but anyways, i need some suggestions on how to get to anime expo in LA from Bakersfield, sure i could drive but i have a 1997 Chevy Astro Van, and to drive that thing that far for just person doesn't feel worth it or at least it's going to be really expensive for me, so i guess my question is does anybody know if the amtrak train or a greyhound bus stop somewhere close to the los angeles convention center??? also, at first i didn't really mind if i did drive over there but then i thought about the whole hotel thing and i'm going to have to get my own room which will cost me more now because at first we were just gonna split it all together and would of been like $100 for all 4 days but now i'm going to be alone so it's gonna cost me a lot more!!! so any help would be really appreciated!!! thanks more

Resolved Question: What's the term for people who completely apathetic about bad situations that happen to them?

Hey guys, I'm not exactly apathetic. I can feel happiness and joy to the fullest extent, and to an extent, anger and sadness. (but anger and sadness are at the most minimal level...) Yeah, I've suffered enough resentment and depression in the past to be upset over any trivial bad things anymore. For example, I lost my phone at the Los Angeles convention center. At first I fretted and then like 26 seconds later, I didn't care anymore.... Apathy~ Today, I received a parking ticket from one of my school's parking officers because I forgot to display my permit in my car. $45 fine... I felt nothing... zero.. nada.. zilch emotions in regards to this happening. However, I can be overjoyed and become really, really happy to the fullest. My hyperness could go way off the meter. It's just negative emotions that I can't seem to have.... So, what's the correct terminology (or just appropriate term) for people who are apathetic merely about bad things? Please give me an answer. >.< Random Fact: I'm usually an optimistic person. more

Resolved Question: Is There Cheap Hotels Near The Los Angeles Convention Center?

I am trying to get a room for my cousin and I for Anime Expo 2009, which is July 2 - July 5. I wanted to know if there were any cheap hotels or motels near the Los Angeles Convention Center. Resolved Question: How can Governor Kathleen Selibus be going to be a HHS?

To people who never been or live in the state of Kansas, I want you to know who Kathleen Selibus is. I live in right inside Kansas. She has been on money of mismangement during her both terms and never really fix the health care in generally despite of the happy note Media says about her.Governor Kathleen Selibus threw $145 million in a few months of her first term and even more $ later on, penalized some private corporations and private insurances, and private medical clinic for not working out with the universal health care plan. Many of them fought against her. But the health care never been really fixed and or work into the basic core of solutions, only did expanded the cancer treatments, and children health programs for the low income families. As you know already she is a big supporter of late term abortion without offers the counseling. Other things you ought to know, Governor Kathleen Selibus has tried to turn Down town K.C into Los Angeles or Chicago- widen freeways,4 huge convention center which some of freeways is already been processed in and she tried to fight to allow to put $400 million being a part of the developers group of sport complex fields for soccer between Antioch and 69 in South Overland Park in 2006. We already have one, why need have 2 of them?. The Overland park residents in that area- people went out protested at the hearing, and then voted against it. The bill failed. Governor Kathleen Sebelius signed a bill in 2003 allowing illegal aliens to pay in-state tuition at state land-grant colleges (such as KU, K-State, Wichita State, Pittsburg State, and perhaps Fort Hays State)! This is a slap in the face of every legal immigrant and citizen. This law is in direct violation of USC Title 8. Kris Kobach, who ran against Dennis Moore for the 3rd Congressional District seat, is part of the legal team to bring down this highly unconstitutional law. She also allowed the courts to "dictate" budgeting. The KS(Kansas) Supreme Court ruled in 2006 that public schools were unconstitutional just because they could not get budgeted for funds! As you wondered why she got to be governor twice I believe she bought the election in a way. She is a very wealthy and from a long line of politican family- Her father was a governor of Ohio.I am apalled by most of the choices Obama has made thus far. The outrageous spending bill that he calls stimulus, his desire to DIRECTLY oversee the census, his broken promise of no earmarks are just a few examples of his socialist agenda. 2010 and 2012 can't come fast enough! Now, How can you stand the choices of people Obama, he choose for to be part of his adminstration? like Nancy Ann DeParle, who is going to be nominate of commissioner of Human and Health service, just another part of old Clinton Adminstration, who going to work with Governor Kathleen Selibus, two health czars?! Do you notice all of them have in one common - Spending! more

Resolved Question: Do you think these are funny?

A young man goes into the Job Center in Downtown Los Angeles, and sees a card advertising for a Gynecologist's Assistant. Interested, he goes to learn more; 'Can you give me some more details?' he asks the clerk. The clerk pulls up the file and says, 'The job entails getting the ladies ready for the gynecologist. You have to help them out of their underwear, lay them down and carefully wash their private regions, then apply shaving foam and gently shave off the hair, then rub in soothing oils so that they're ready for the gynecologist's examination. There's an annual salary of $65,000, but you're going to have to go to Albuquerque New Mexico . That's about 620 miles from here.' 'Good grief, is that where the job is?' 'No sir --- that's where the end of the line is right now.' A man is getting into the shower just as his wife is finishing up her shower, when the doorbell rings. The wife quickly wraps herself in a towel and runs downstairs. When she opens the door, there stands Bob, the next-door neighbor. Before she says a word, Bob says, 'I'll give you $800 to drop that towel.' After thinking for a moment, the woman drops her towel and stands naked in front of Bob, after a few seconds, Bob hands her $800 and leaves. The woman wraps back up in the towel and goes back upstairs. When she gets to the bathroom, her husband asks, 'Who was that?' 'It was Bob the next door neighbor,' she replies. 'Great,' the husband says, 'did he say anything about the $800 he owes me?' Moral of the story: If you share critical information pertaining to credit and risk with your shareholders in time, you may be in a position to prevent avoidable exposure. A man boarded an aircraft at London Heathrow Airport 's Terminal 5 for New York , and taking his seat as he settled in, he noticed a very beautiful woman boarding the plane. He realised she was heading straight toward his seat and bingo - she took the seat right beside him. 'Hello', he blurted out, 'Business trip or vacation?' She turned, smiled enchantingly and said, 'Business. I'm going to the annual nymphomaniac convention in the United States .' He swallowed hard. Here was the most gorgeous woman he had ever seen sitting next to him, and she was going to a meeting for nymphomaniacs! Struggling to maintain his composure, he calmly asked, 'What's your business role at this convention?' 'Lecturer,' she responded. 'I use my experience to debunk some of the popular myths about sexuality.' 'Really', he smiled, 'what myths are those?' 'Well,' she explained, 'one popular myth is that African-American men are the most well endowed when, in fact, it's the Native American Indian who is most likely to possess that trait. Another popular myth is that French men are the best lovers, when actually it is the men of Greek descent. We have also found that the best potential lovers in all categories are the Irish.' Suddenly the woman became uncomfortable and blushed. 'I'm sorry,' she said 'I really shouldn't be discussing this with you, I don't even know your name!' 'Tonto,' the man said. 'Tonto Papadopoulos, but my friends call me Paddy.' more

Resolved Question: If Bush spent us in to poverty, then can you please explain how?

spending almost another trillion on items such as this is any different? The few, and the key word few jobs that these will create will only last for a very very short term. Then its back to unemployment. The only difference is that we are a trillion more in debt to the Chinese. If you hated bushes spending, they why in the world would you want anyone to spend this much more? Just look what they are spending it on. And yes, this is as of today. President-elect Obama's transition team is promising that its $700 billion, or $850 billion, or $1 trillion, or whatever it now is "stimulus" won't include pork-barrel spending. They must not have talked to the nation's mayors, who recently responded to Mr. Obama's request to compile their priority list of "shovel-ready" projects. By all accounts, the $73 billion wish list may be the largest collection of parochial spending projects in American history. Strolling through the 800 pages, we found such beauties as: $1 million to upgrade the Los Angeles County Convention Center elevated "catwalk" for cameras and lighting; $350,000 for an Albuquerque, N.M., fitness center; $94 million for a parking garage at the Orange Bowl in Miami; $4.5 million for Gretna, Florida, to bottle water with recyclable bottles; a $35 million music hall of fame in Florissant, Missouri, and $3.1 million for a swimming pool in Tulsa. Oh, and desperate Santa Barbara, Calif., respectfully requests $80,000 for a tennis facility; Savannah, Georgia, would like to build a children's museum; Ventura, Calif., wants $6 million to renovate the beach at Surfers Point, and Durham, N.C., home of the Durham Bulls, wants to construct the first Minor League Baseball Hall of Fame. Dayton, Ohio, wants $1.5 million to reduce prostitution with education programs, and Ponce, Puerto Rico wants $5.7 million to improve its cruise ship terminal (which will create all of 60 jobs). We could go on. No doubt some of these proposals would enhance urban life, but then why can't the cities build them with their own money? Perhaps because the projects don't really measure up against more urgent local priorities. But when the federal taxpayer does the financing, everything suddenly becomes affordable. If Durham wants a tourist destination, how about hitting up Kevin Costner, Susan Sarandon and Tim Robbins, who did so well by the film "Bull Durham"? The other truth about most of these projects is that they don't come close to representing an economic "stimulus." They may put a few people to work for a while, albeit while taking money out of the private economy to pay for them. But the test for a useful public project should be whether it contributes to a net increase in productivity after accounting for that lost private investment. more

Resolved Question: Has any great nation ever fallen without first being destroyed from within?

Then people wonder what abortions overseas has to do with the so called 'stimulus package' As well as millions for Nasa to study Global Warming billions for Amtrak, which has never seen a profit billions for health care for children of non citizens while the children of our own citizens do without. $1 million to upgrade the Los Angeles County Convention Center elevated "catwalk" for cameras and lighting; $350,000 for an Albuquerque, N.M., fitness center; $94 million for a parking garage at the Orange Bowl in Miami; $4.5 million for Gretna, Florida, to bottle water with recyclable bottles; a $35 million music hall of fame in Florissant, Missouri, and $3.1 million for a swimming pool in Tulsa. Resolved Question: Please hear my story... and give advice?

I was in a great high school in los angeles. i loved life, i had lots of friends, a few extremely good, close friends, a promising future (looking forward to great colleges), learning things every day, laughing, and wanted to grow up to make movies. i dressed nicely, i was somewhat of a classier trendsetter, but i loved everyone and was in no way cocky. everyday was the most optimistic, happy and well-learned and laughed day of my life. me, my mom, and my sister moved to utah. they (we) are mormons, and so are the grandparents who have already been living here. they dont know that i dont want to be part of this church anymore, because if they did, my life would become hell. my grandparents are really big in the church. my ancestors were the first pioneers, they wrote many of the mormon songs, and my grandpa has dinner with the prophet sometimes. my life has slowed to a halt. i still get straight A's, but it's a lame education. i'm learning nothing, i'm not being stimulated, i'm depressed. i rarely have the opportunity to Truly laugh, most of my laughs these days are fake, no one here is as funny. im depressed, and i knew this would happen, right at the moment when my parents broke the news that we had to move to utah. (for cheaper rent, we're poor) I promised myself that if i ever became suicidal, i would tell my parents and beg them if i could go to LA and recover. lately, everything i envisioned is coming true. i'm starting to look at the nearby railroad for this solution. i'm not doing this because everything at the moment is bad. im depressed because this situation is going to set me up for a life i dont want. i dont want to go to a local utah school, stay a mormon, never get a really secular life, never be part of this world. i dont want to live this mormon life anymore, i want to be happy. my friends are appearing on cnn, going to conventions for journalism, and are at the center of everything i loved. they are at an excellent school which doesnt even compare to my current one. they have all the opportunities. they are all going to go to great schools, while my only cheap option seems to be BYU. I would rather kill myself than go to BYU. i wanted to go to UCLA or Cal, and then to a top 10 graduate school, but that's not going to happen anymore from this high school and this black hole of no opportunity for the things i love. the only thing this school is good at is sports.... i dont hate utah, its just not for me, ive met some really nice people, but still, its not the life i want to live. please help me. im a junior, and by senior year, ill be 18. im thinking of moving back as an 18 year old and spending senior year back there. it seems to be the only solution. i would go to ucla and maybe graduate school, study business, try a hand at the entertainment industry. i would love that!I LOVE YOU PEOPLE. i have already started looking at things differently. i'm going to look for scholarships, keep learning outside of school, see what fun things Utah has to offer, keep in touch with my old friends, and spend senior year back in LA as an 18 year old, and hopefully off to UCLA or Cal. i'll just endure and go with the flow for now. thanks you for changing my life one answer at a time more

Resolved Question: Edit my English work please!?

Well, my task was to take something from a magazine and put it into a newspaper article, so heres what I came up with. It's supposed to be the top 5 games at E3. Please read it over and give me any comments or suggestions on it. This year the E3 conference took place during July 15-17 at the Los Angeles Convention Center. E3 stands for Electronic Entertainment Exposition. It is an annual video game tradeshow for computer and video games. Many new upcoming games are announced here for the main gaming platforms. Since 2007 it has not been open to the general public, so we have the top 10 games of E3 to share with you today, and you can visit the official E3 website for more coverage. 5. Guitar Hero: World Tour took 5th place at E3. It will be released for the PC as well as the 3 current generation gaming consoles. This new game follows Rock Band with a full band experience. The creators added many new features compared to the previous game which was already a very good game. With this game, you can create your own songs and even share them with others online. The Guitar design has become even better along with a new drum kit. A nice new feature of this game is it’s online band battles. Although Rock Band 2 is similar, Guitar Hero: World Tour outperformed it with many more features. 4. The fourth place game at E3 is Resident Evil 5. This game will be released for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 only. It’s the fifth game in capcom’s survival horror series. This game features online co-op mode for those looking to play story mode with friends along with many improvements to the graphics system and game play. This game will be an amazing improvement for all of the Resident Evil fans 3. Fallout 3 took 3rd place at E3. It will be released for the PC, Playstation 3, and the Xbox 360. This game has been completely changed from the first two in the series making it a much better role playing game. The game engine for Fallout 3 has been greatly improved making the game play and graphics much better than the previous games. 2. The 2nd best game at E3 is Gears of Wars 2. It will be an Xbox 360 exclusive game, but it could be released for the PC later on after it comes out for the 360. This is the sequel to the best selling game for the Xbox 360 and it continues where the first game left off. Gears of War 2 has a whole new weapon set, new enemies, new vehicles, and many new game options. This is a highly anticipated game for the Xbox 360, just like the previous game. 1. The best game at E3 is Left 4 dead. It will be released for the Xbox 360 and PC only. It is a zombie survival horror with the best co-op features in any first-person shooter game. Resolved Question: IsThe military always looking for the vulnerable, easily led, young men and women to fight "Old man" wars?

US Military Recruits Children: "America's Army" Video Game Violates International Law "America's Army" is a video game developed in part by the US Army to lure potential recruits. (Photo: techtarget.com) In May of 2002, the United States Army invaded E3, the annual video game convention held in Los Angeles. At the city's Convention Center, young game enthusiasts mixed with camouflaged soldiers, Humvees and a small tank parked near the entrance. Thundering helicopter sound effects drew the curious to the Army's interactive display, where a giant video screen flashed the words "Empower yourself. Defend America ... You will be a soldier".Army was unveiling its latest recruitment tool, the "America's Army" video game, free to download online or pick up at a recruiting station, and now available for purchase on the Xbox, PlayStation, cell phones and Gameboy game consoles. Since its release, the "game" has gone on to attain enormous popularity with over 30,000 players everyday. Most of the gameplay takes place in cyberspace where virtual Mideast cities, hospitals and oil rigs serve as backdrops for players to obliterate each other. As a "first person shooter," the game allows players to "see what a soldier sees" in real combat situations - peek around corners, take fine aim, chose weapons that replicate those actually used by the US Army.... see the game is stlll on the market.... see the game is stlll on the market.hum I'm not at all a 'spoiled brat'...I'm in early twenties, college educated (one of the best colleges in the US) also educated abroad, have been to and lived in many foreign countries, am neither liberal nor conservative. Do not need a 'label' to validate myself or what I believe. ALL wars have been OLD MAN wars, where the young are sacrificed to protect political beliefs, be they honorable or otherwise. Can't stand the politics of the present administration.. Wish young people had the chance for a better and more inclusive educatiional experience, and forsee the need for a big change in government in order for this country to 'get back on track' as a world leader, rather than our now being considered no more than 'illegal invaders and occupiers' wanting only to convert othes to so-called democracy and freedom, while all the while killing in the name of peace. How profound!15? You wish. since you know so much about the military "adults"? okay you are an 'adult' - you are older person. Old enough to fight 'old man wars'. Thus, as an 'adult' you need to fight your own friggen wars silly-- OLD man wars.. stop using the young to underscore your own cowardice. more

Resolved Question: Who can I ask to find out how safe L.A. convention center is?

Who can I ask to find out how safe L.A. Convention center is? I will be attending a convention at 1201 S. Figueroa St, Los Angeles CA 90015 which is the Los Angeles Convention center. I haven't decided which hotel I will stay at, but I am concerned that the area within 1 mile of convention center is not safe enough to walk around in at night because its so close to downtown LA which is NOT safe at all. Who can I ask to find out? I want to ask a normal person, not an employee of a hotel or some company that can't tell me the truth if its bad news. Thank you more

Resolved Question: Obama's Pastor Circulates Hamas Manifesto, What do you all think about this?

By Aaron Klein JERUSALEM – Sen. Barack Obama's Chicago church reprinted a manifesto by Hamas that defended terrorism as legitimate resistance, refused to recognize the right of Israel to exist and compared the terror group's official charter – which calls for the murder of Jews – to America's Declaration of Independence. The Hamas piece was published on the "Pastor's Page" of the Trinity United Church of Christ newsletter reserved for Rev. Jeremiah Wright Jr., whose anti-American, anti-Israel remarks landed Obama in hot water, prompting the presidential candidate to deliver a major race speech earlier this week. Hamas, responsible for scores of shootings, suicide bombings and rocket launchings against civilian population centers, is listed as a terrorist group by the U.S. State Department. The revelation follows a recent WND article quoting Israeli security officials who expressed "concern" about Robert Malley, an adviser to Obama who has advocated negotiations with Hamas and providing international assistance to the terrorist group. In his July 22, 2007, church newsletter, Wright reprinted an article by Mousa Abu Marzook, identified in the publication as a "deputy of the political bureau of Hamas." A photo image of the piece was captured and posted today by the business blog BizzyBlog, which first brought attention to it. The Hamas article was first published by the Los Angeles Times, garnering the newspaper much criticism. According to senior Israeli security officials, Marzook, who resides in Syria alongside Hamas chieftain Khaled Meshaal, is considered the "brains" behind Hamas, designing much of the terror group's policies and ideology. Israel possesses what it says is a large volume of specific evidence that Marzook has been directly involved in calling for or planning scores of Hamas terrorist offensives, including deadly suicide bombings. He was also accused of attempting to set up a Hamas network in the U.S. Marzook's original piece was titled, "Hamas' stand" but was re-titled "A Fresh View of the Palestinian Struggle" by Obama's church newsletter. The newsletter also referred to Hamas as the "Islamic Resistance Movement," and added in its introduction that Marzook was addressing Hamas' goals for "all of Palestine." In the manifesto, Marzook refers to Hamas' "resistance" – the group's perpetuation of anti-Israel terrorism targeting civilians – as "legal resistance," which, he argues, is "explicitly supported by the Fourth Geneva Convention." The Convention, which refers to the rights of people living under occupation, does not support suicide bombings or rocket attacks against civilian population centers, the Committee for Accuracy in Middle East Reporting in America noted. Marzook refers to Hamas' official charter as "an essentially revolutionary document" and compares the violent creed to the Declaration of Independence, which, Marzook states, "simply did not countenance any such status for the 700,000 African slaves at that time." Hamas' charter calls for the murder of Jews. Among its platforms is a statement that the "[resurrection] will not take place until the Muslims fight the Jews and the Muslims kill them, and the rock and the tree will say: 'Oh Muslim, servant of Allah, there is a Jew behind me, kill him!'" In his piece, Marzook says Hamas only targets Israel and denies that Hamas' war is meant to be waged against the U.S., even though Hamas officials have threatened America, and Hamas' charter calls for Muslims to "pursue the cause of the Movement (Hamas), all over the globe." Trinity Church did not respond to a phone message requesting comment. Obama's campaign also did not reply to phone and e-mail requests today for comment. Obama aide wants talks with terrorists WND reported in January that Malley, an Obama foreign policy adviser, has penned numerous opinion articles, many of them co-written with a former adviser to the late Palestinian Authority President Yasser Arafat, petitioning for dialogue with Hamas and blasting Israel for policies he says harm the Palestinian cause. Malley also previously penned a well-circulated New York Review of Books piece largely blaming Israel for the collapse of the Israeli-Palestinian negotiations at Camp David in 2000 when Arafat turned down a Palestinian state in the West Bank, Gaza and eastern sections of Jerusalem and instead returned to the Middle East to launch an intifada, or terrorist campaign, against the Jewish state. Malley's contentions have been strongly refuted by key participants at Camp David, including President Clinton, then-Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak and primary U.S. envoy to the Middle East Dennis Ross, all of whom squarely blamed Arafat's refusal to make peace for the talks' failure. In February 2006, after Hamas won a majority of seats in the Palestinian parliament and amid a U.S. and Israeli attempt to isolate the Hamas-run Palestinian Authority, Malley wrote an op-ed for the Baltimore Sun advocating international aid to the terror group's newly formed government. "The Islamists (Hamas) ran on a campaign of effective government and promised to improve Palestinians' lives; they cannot do that if the international community turns its back," wrote Malley in a piece entitled, "Making the Best of Hamas' Victory." Malley contended the election of Hamas expressed Palestinian "anger at years of humiliation and loss of self-respect because of Israeli settlement expansion, Arafat's imprisonment, Israel's incursions, Western lecturing and, most recently and tellingly, the threat of an aid cutoff in the event of an Islamist success." Malley said the U.S. should not "discourage third-party unofficial contacts with [Hamas] in an attempt to moderate it." In an op-ed in the Washington Post in January coauthored by Arafat adviser Hussein Agha, Malley – using what could be perceived as anti-Israel language – urged Israel's negotiating partner, Abbas, to reunite with Hamas. "A renewed national compact and the return of Hamas to the political fold would upset Israel's strategy of perpetuating Palestinian geographic and political division," wrote Malley. He further petitioned Israel to hold talks with Hamas. "An arrangement between Israel and Hamas could advance both sides' interests," Malley wrote. In numerous other op-eds, Malley advocated a policy of engagement with Hamas. more

Now, I have a reservation at the Figueroa, but the thing is I'm finding a lot of bad reviews, which conflicts with the fact that they are always booked. I know it sounds like I'm lucky, but I'm wondering if it's worth the money? AND if anyone knows of any good hotels, 2-3 stars for about that price? Hopefully less???? thanksMEXZKAN- I would, if I wasn't going to LA with both my 11-year-old brother, plus my mom. lolHEY!!! It's not that hard to find a site!!! I need to find a HOTEL!!!! Resolved Question: Foreclosure Auction Beware....Don't believe the auctioneer!!?

I attended REDC foreclosure auction in Los Angeles last month and now I am deeply regret it. We have a problem verifying what the auctioneer said at the auction about the property that we bided and won, and what they told us later. They said that I have no proof of what the auctioneer said on that day and because of that it might cost us about $10K if we to walk out from the deal. So, I want to know how to find out if there is anyone that went to the auction on May 19 at Convention Center and tape record the auction? How can I find out if there is any reporter from any magazine or TV channel at tape recorded the auction on that day? I don't want to say this but don't believe the auctioneer although the auction company is well know and might be around for a long time. Always think that they are there to take your money and they are not your friends, you are on your own. They will not stand up for you and will not back up what they said. Be very careful. more
