Open Question: Should a guy take care of himself? Rate me.?
Hey, I'm 14 and well, I like to take care of myself so I can look good, not over the top but I don't want to look like I live in the streets or something, I wash my face a lot so I can have nice skin, wash my hair every 1-2 days (I also like to spike it for a bit more style sometimes), my clothes are just solid colored shirts (large), slim jeans (not skinny, ew) and vans. I do my eyebrows just a little bit to give it a nice clean look but still emphasizing the thickness, since I have very light eyebrows so when I do em it actually makes it look thicker in a way, less is more :) Also I lemon my hair (I have really dark brown hair, almost black but its brown in the light) so it can sort of have a bit of brownish streaks, so its shiney a lot ;D Even from reading this, I AM NOT GAY, I'm a little bit metro but I don't go over the top and I have short hair too. My friends though are the complete opposite :/ and despite all this I can't seem to find any friends or a girlfriend either, people keep calling me ugly and making fun of me even my friends! I can't find any new friends because my school's distribution of popularity is very uneven :) either you are or you are not, and since everyone knows me already (and not in a good way) they already know now to be my friends, and the friends I have now are sort of jealous of me because I work out a bit, I'm slim, my skin is nice, my hair is nice, and my general looks are nice (that's because I take care of myself), I would probably rate myself an 8, and I'm pretty harsh sometimes on my looks too :/ they don't have ANY traits anybody would like, at all, they're stubby and chubby, have dirty hair and skin, and look like general douches (not the guido kind). All they do is make fun of me saying that guys shouldn't wash their hair, shouldn't have clean skin, and I'm like 5'8 at 14 and they keep on making puberty comments on me (that's actually really funny because I look like a normal 14 year old boy lol, they don't). I don't know really know what to do lol :/ I mean if you compare them to me, you would laugh your *** off at them simply because of the DRASTIC difference between us, in almost everything from respecting others, being nice, respecting yourself and all that, they have none of that, they're pretty much ugly on the inside and out. Honestly, I always felt bad thinking these things because they aren't nice things but seriously? I go to school with a slight cream on so that I can wash it off at the end of the day, it wasn't even visible, all I did was put it on and literally all I do is wash it off and then my skin gets cleared or something, and it removes redness and discolorations too, so they kept bitching saying why am I wearing make up (???) on and on and when I tried to tell them its skin cream they said guys shouldnt be wearing skin cream and have smooth skin (they have horrible acne) and then kept on beeyatching on about why I am wearing make up again so I was just like eh screw it, ignorant a-holes. So yeah :/ do you believe guys should keep themselves clean, even the ways I do? We are polar opposites, not even our personalities match, I'm just waiting for 8th grade to finish so I can go to high school and sort of restart my social life because it's been nothing but hell these past few years. Sorry if I seemed a bit cocky, just kinda pissed. I live in Los Angeles, the a-hole capital of the world. Here is a picture of me :( but it's bad, rate me please: https://mail.google.com/mail/?ui=2&ik=8634f398c4&view=att&th=1272d25dd84ade53&attid=0.1&disp=inline&zw Ok well, just answer if it's ok for me to continue being who I am, or if there is anything wrong with it just let me know :) and my picture too, I want to get rated from someone who I don't know so it's not biased, rate me harshly, don't be too generous. :DIgnore the essay unless you really want to read it lol, here is a new link http://img707.imageshack.us/img707/4685/photoad.jpg and just rate 1-10, rate how you would rate the hottest guy or girl at your school/workplace ect, and say yes or no should I continue with my ways. moreResolved Question: Do they allow tripods at the long beach aquarium?

Weeklong sweep of street gangs nets 65 arrests By Debbi Baker Friday, June 26, 2009 at 1:50 p.m. SAN DIEGO — Dozens of violent gang members, including several criminal aliens, were arrested this week in a countywide sweep targeting street gangs largely made up of foreign-born members, authorities announced Friday. The weeklong law enforcement effort, dubbed “Operation Community Shield,” resulted in 65 arrests in San Marcos, Vista, Escondido, Poway and San Diego, Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials said. Agents took into custody street gang members and associates belonging to 19 local street gangs and one member of a Los Angeles gang. Several of those arrested had previous convictions on weapons and domestic violence charges, some will be prosecuted on new charges including drug offenses and violations of gang injunctions, and several others will face criminal prosecution on federal felony charges, including re-entry after deportation, officials said. http://www.signonsandiego.com/news/2009/jun/26/bn26arrests135011/?metro&zIndex=123199 moreVoting Question: LAX to Downtown LA and Downtown LA to San Pedro transportation question?
Hi, I've booked a hotel in the downtown Los Angeles and would like to know what's the best way to commute from the LAX Airport to the downtown hotel besides taking the cab or the Flyaway bus to union station? Also, after my Los Angeles land trip, I'll be joining the cruise tour and the embarkation pier is located in San Pedro - World Cruise centre. I would like to know how to commute from the Downtown Hotel to San Pedro? Are there any public transit or metro line that runs on this route? Thanks! Thanks travelmaster for answering my question. I'll be staying at the Millennium Biltmore Hotel in downtown. As I'll be going with my mom and she cannot carry heavy luggage, that's why I want to know the best and inexpensive route to commute from LAX to the hotel. I heard from some forum that there's shuttle offering in LAX where they'll take you to the hotel and it's share ride. Is that expensive? Or else, maybe I can take the flyaway bus to the union station and take the cab? Would want to know which method is more economical. ---------------------------------------------- As for the San Pedro, the 445 direct express sounds good, is luggage allow on the bus? And around how long is the commute time? Thanks very much!!Thanks so much! I think I'll take the METRO EXPRESS LINE 445 to San Pedro , as I realized that the walking distance from the hotel to the closest bus stop (Flower & 7th St) is around 10 mins. walking time. However, I have doubts as to which stop I should take off in San Pedro which is closest to the World Cruise Center (Berth 93, San Pedro, CA 90731) and is it within walking distance? Thank you! moreResolved Question: What will American cities look like in 20 years?

I am currently going to school for a respiratory therapy degree. I will be leaving school with no debt and about 6 to 7 thousand dollars in cash. I will not be graduating till about June 2012. Hi i need to have this translated in past present perfect....using gewessen, gegangen.. etc..., Can Anyone Help?? >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Last vacation i went to Chinatown in Los Angeles with my Boyfriend. We went to Chinatown this past November. And stayed for one day. We traveled by train (Metro). We took a camera and money with us. We walked down all the streets and bought almond cookies and jewelry from the street vendors. We saw a 50 foot pagoda and a wishing well. Then we stopped and ate spicy mangos from another street vendor Overall, the trip was not too expensive. Later that night we had dinner at the CBS Restaurant. We had Dim Sum and Chicken and JellyFish with vegetables to eat and coke to Drink. It was surprisingly very delicious. When we tried to get back home on the train (metro) it was shut down due to maintenance. So we stayed at Union Station until we found a ride home. We arrived home around midnight. The trip was Very fun. We want to go again soon. But next time we plan to travel by car. Thanks moreResolved Question: Why do parisians think/assume we're Japanese (tourists)?
I've encountered the same thing every time I'm in Paris which perplexes me. I've had people on the street greet me in Japanese as I walk by or people approach me at metro wanting to learn Japanese, etc. I happen to know Japanese to know they spoke to me in Japanese. This happened quite frequently. First of all, I'm Asian American.. definitely Asian looking. Based on my observation, Paris is a very ethnically diverse city, appears to be even more diverse than Los Angeles where I live. I saw a lot of Asians in Paris who appeared to be locals who live/work there who speak fluent French. With that said, I still encountered people who thought/assumed I was Japanese. The interesting thing was... no one thought I was anything else but Japanese.. how about Chinese, Korean, Thai, etc...? Is this because most Asians who visit Paris happen to be Japanese? Or maybe it's the way I dressed? I'm very sure I dressed properly to blend in.. black winter coat, dark color outfit, black boots, etc. no brightcolors or fancy camera that every Japanese tourist seems to sport. :) Anyway, people generally were really friendly and I was not bothered by it but more curious about why. moreResolved Question: What would you say are the most commonly spoken foreign languages in Los angeles?

Now, I'm in California, so I tried the metro trip planner but the problem is I'm going through three counties to get there so it can't process the request. I'm not sure if there's a site that can help me here... Does anyone know of anything? Also, fyi, trying to get from Mojave CA to Los Angeles CA if anyone had direct insight. Seriously, I'm a stupid kid, I need some help. >> moreResolved Question: Can I take the (metro) gold line to ELA now?

Cause I can't find one source that says it was. Why do you repeat whatever you are told without looking it up for yourself??? "Atlanta benefited more than any other city in the history of the Olympics," said A.D. Frazier, the chief operating officer for the Atlanta Committee for the Olympic Games. "Afterward, we had no debt and we left behind a legacy of privately funded structures the city would not have seen otherwise." http://www.wgnradio.com/news/chi-olympics-atlanta-21-sep21,0,5578744.story http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/chi-olympics-atlanta-21-sep21,0,2542212.story "The games had a profound impact on the city of Atlanta and many in the metro area consider the Games to be instrumental in transforming Atlanta into the modernized city it has become. One instance is the mid-rise dormitories built for the Olympic Village, as one of these complexes became the first residential housing for Georgia State University, and has recently been transferred for use by the Georgia Institute of Technology. Another example is Centennial Olympic Stadium, which by design was later converted in the baseball-specific Turner Field for the Atlanta Braves after the Games concluded, as there was no long-term need for a track and field venue in the city. Centennial Olympic Park was also built for the events and is still in use. The Atlanta Olympics followed the model established by the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles. The cost to stage the Games was US$1.8 billion. Governmental funds were used for security, but not for the actual Games themselves.[1] To pay for the games, Atlanta relied on commercial sponsorship and ticket sales, resulting in a profit of $10 million.[2] It must also be stated that up to 500 million dollars of tax payer money was used on the physical infrastructure including streetscaping, road improvements, centennial park, expansion of airport, improvement in public transportation, and redevelopment of public housing projects.[3]" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1996_Summer_OlympicsJR...do you know how PROFIT is calculated??? They take the Revenue minus the COST. You don't subtract the COST again from the PROFIT. Basic stuff here...stop it now...you look ridiculous. moreResolved Question: ¿Because Carl's Jr. does not sponsor soccer in California?
