My girlfriend and I are in our late 20s and looking to take a 7-10 day vacation in Mexico. We don't like "all-inclusives" (such as what you'd find in Cancun). We'd prefer somewhere that's adventurous, cheap and somewhat authentic. But, given the short amount of time for our trip, we also want somewhere that's easy to get to (near an international airport) and safe. Is Sayulita a good place for people in their 20s? We're looking for yoga, outdoor sports and relaxing (as opposed to drinking/clubbing/"spring break"). Or is Sayulita more of an older person place? Also, is it expensive? Me and my two friends (ages 21, 21 & 20) are planning a trip to Mexico this fall. I have a list of places in Mexico, but am unfamiliar with the area. We are going to be doing all inclusive 7 day stay. We plan on (the usual) Drinking, Swimming and relaxing (for a couple of hours:P ). I know what you're thinking spring break is a long way away but i have a timeshare and we have to book awhile in advance. I have a marriott vacation club timeshare that i can trade to any of the marriott locations. So right now I am on a 2 week vacation in Cancun. There's about 50 people here from my moms side of the family as well. Well, my aunt, uncle, 6 year old cousin and 3 year old cousin are staying in the same condo as my grandma. Every single day my grandparents end up babysitting the kids for some period of time. Sometimes my grandma offers to watch them when my aunt and uncle mention going into town or going to the bar, but I can tell it's just a courtesy gesture, I mean, who wants to spend 3 weeks in Mexico babysitting? I see my grandparents when were at the pool and all, but other than that I haven't done anything with them. Today my grandpa offered to take me into town so I could do a little shopping so I was reallyy excited about that. Well me and my grandpa went to play some volleyball in the pool, came back only to find my aunt and uncle left to go into town already so we couldn't go because he was babysitting again. So, if my grandma were to offer to babysit the kids, would it be selfish to take up on that offer since they are supposed to be on vacation too? They take the offer everyday. They did this last time we came here too.I can tell my grandpa doesn't like it. Everyone was going to karaoke night and he was going to have to stay and babysit so I was like, no that's not gonna happen and just babysat them myself. He seemed really glad he got to get out. more

Alright, so I live in the US. I'm going on vacation in Cancun, Mexico. My parents were telling me stories about how their friends have had things stolen from them in Mexico from hotel room maids. So my 25 year old girlfriend and I (I am 26) are planning on staying a week at the RIU Palace Las Americas all-inclusive resort in Cancun in August. It will not only be our first time in Cancun but it will also be our first time in Mexico. Now I've spoken to two different people that have been in Cancun before and both have told me that spending 3-5 days there is enough, otherwise it gets boring seeing the same ol' beaches. So my question is do you think 7 days in Cancun is too long or should we go down to perhaps a 5 day trip? I'm considering vacationing in Boracay during the holidays (last 2 weeks of December) and have the following questions - - What is the best way to get to Boracay from Taiwan? I've heard either fly to Manila and take a ferry to Boracay or fly directly to an airport closer to Boracay? - How is Boracay these days? My fiance and I are getting married August 28. We are looking to go on our honeymoon either a couple days after that, or we can depart later, up to two weeks after our wedding. We are looking to go on vacation for 6 or 7 days. We like to snorkel, dive, hike, swim, etc. Nightlife is fine, but what we really want are fun recreational things to do. Also a decent hotel, like the Westin, Hyatt, etc. I looked on Expedia, etc. and we can find some nice places in Cancun for less than $600/person including flight and stay at a Hyatt. This sounds good to me. But the flight is 11 hours long from Sacramento, California to Cancun. I would like a shorter flight if possible. So maybe somewhere closer to California, but still in Mexico. Does anybody have a recommendation on which city to go to, where to stay, and somewhere that doesn't take 10 or 11 hours to fly to from Northern California, and that is not too expensive. Okay i know this question had been posted thousands of times, but i need my own individual answers. Okay so i have had my period for a little over a year now. And its summer and all and I am going on vacation to Cancun Mexico next week- the week of my period :(. I have been trying to insert a tampon everytime i have my period, but no luck. I've tried everything- mirrors, different angles, different sizes and brands, dampened the tip of the tampon, applicators, but i swear there is a wall there. I am a virgin so of course there is no real cherry popped down there. Does this have something to do with it? When i insert a tampon will it pop and hurt/bleed? Also, how long can i keep it in for? Mexico is actually nicer than USA? I went on vacation to Mexico with my parents in November. We went to the Mayan Rivera near Cancun, and it wasn't poor and dirty like some people say. When my parents said we where going to Mexico, I was like OMG wtf are you crazy? But the hotel was actually really nice, and it was like 5 star, and it had fancy restaurants, and a huge pool and beautiful clean beach and tennis courts and stuff like that. And across the street from our resort hotel, there was big mansion neighborhoods with giant gates at the front with like guards and stuff. There was even like a little mall near us, and it had a Starbucks, McDonald's and lot's of designer stores. I don't get why everyone says Mexico is so bad? It's actually very nice, and the people seem rich not poor. more

You see the USSR ( i do not support them ) wanted to industrialize the middle east. So the USA gave arms and supported the Islamic extremest to fight the equality ideology. So opiums crops went up and since they have power they took over the opium business which his a problem today. Now after the USSR left civil war broke out ( of course with all those weapons laying around) You see NAFTA has hurt the agriculture greatly in Mexico, So everything is has become some what of government/ feudal land/ cooperate system. So the farmer loses alot of money and competition etc etc etc Government officials all over were established by Americans has dictatorship to stop Peasants from revolting in Latin American. yes this is a fact even the CIA says they did it to stop communism. If i may recall that the United Fruit Company ( backed by the Eisenhower administration ) in Guatemala Revolution [ 1953 ] they did the same thing in contrast. Farmers lost crops because of big cooperate competition. The UFC owned all railroads,all plantations, all ports. Sure it created jobs for pennies a day. So in human instincts the peasants farm workers said no more and revolted.. in other words Marxist/ Communism revolution for Public land ownership and against privatization. Some fled the country. thats why you see alot of criminals activity in L.A after 1960s because they fled to California or Mexico- ( Capital of exiles ). there is alot of data that contrast to this simple semi feudal slave labor.. even in Asia but i dont want to waste your time. i dont still understand why Americans criticize Illegals for all this non sense when there is alot OF INFORMATION BEHIND ITYes i know there is typosKarl Marx once said 150 years That national boundaries create civil war. Last week (which was the last week of my pack) I went on vacation to Cancun and because of the time change I ended up taking my pill at 1 am my time (not mexico time). I didn't realize this was the wrong time so I took it at the same time everyday for the whole week. I was a little worried, because I didn't technically take the pill late, I took it early so I wanted to know if this would be an issue? more

Ok so I want to start planning a vacation to Mexico with my boyfriend. We are 23 and 24, and would like to go somewhere that has nice beaches, maybe some nice ruins, and nice resorts. Good nightlife is nice, but not a must. Cancun, of course, came in mind first. But I thought maybe there are places that are not as pricey. And is it possible, staying in a beachy place, to make a day trip to Mexico City? That would be perfect. And also, how do I go with finding a good hotel/vacation package? We're from Florida. Her parents are very responsible and i know them very well as I am over at their house like 2 times a week.
