Open Question: WILL TIME APART MAKE SOMEONE MISS YOU AND REALIZE THEY LOVE YOU?

Hell all, I’ve been with my wife since she was 15 and I was 19. We waited on my part 5 years to get married and have been up until now, she's 32 and I'm 35. To make a long story short, about 3 months ago she came to me and said she had fallen out love me. Like the million other posts online, I was completely shocked. She had many valid reasons and not only blamed me but herself as well for lack of communicating and mostly for me not listening to her. Initially she wanted a divorce but I convinced her that I had changed and asked her for a second chance which she granted (Jan. 1/2010). This New Year’s (2010) we went out for dinner and she said she’d put the past behind us and we’d start fresh but with no guarantees. She noted a lot of changes in me and was shocked at my turn around; she said I had become the man she always wanted. In the next following few weeks she would cry a lot and tell me that she felt guilty for not loving me the way she did before this happened. We tried counseling but she said that it didn’t help change the fact that she felt nothing for me when we kiss and had no interest in sex and it hurt her that she couldn’t give me what I was giving her. Prior to us trying things out, she had asked me for space and time to miss me. I said I would give her time but came running home in 3 days and complained about my living circumstances. She got really angry with me for coming home and not giving her space, insisting that I never listen to her (as in the past years of our marriage), always under her skin and needy and selfish and only thoughtful of my feelings. She insisted in a divorce but again I pleaded and cried and after the few days – we came to Jan. 1/2010. Shortly after we took a vacation with the kids to Cancun, Mexico, she said it was the best vacation ever in her entire life, but she was shocked at my “amazing” behavior which seemed out of character. After about 6 weeks which brings us to today she said that I listen to her, love her the way she needs to be loved, touch her differently am easy-going, strong willed, fun etc. etc. but “I’m to late” and she’s no longer in love with me and continues to cry out of guilt. Flowers, going out, friends over, presents, surprises, Valentines, amazing bday – all awesome, all out of character (???) but great. I could feel that the kisses are forced, she still has no romantic interest so I offered her the divorce and to set her free. She cried and said she wasn’t ready to let go of our marriage and family (2 boys aged 10 and 5). She asked me for time away to miss me and see if she wants me back (in bed and as a husband) and asked me how much time she could have. I told her to take as much time as she needs (promised not to txt, msn, phone calls, facebook etc.), left her the house, cars, everything and moved out and am paying all the bills. I told her to go find out what she wants out of life and what’s it is like to live without me. I told her live they way she wants and do what she desires and I’ll take her back no matter she does or happens. Question – has anyone spilt from a spouse who claimed they were no longer in love with them and eventfully the partner “out of love” came back because they missed the person they left or is the wishful thinking? My friend and I are both 18 and will be graduating in mid-May. We want to take a vacation for a couple weeks in the end of May but aren't sure yet where to go. I am going to Cancun in about 5 weeks. I want to get dark (I tan easily) but I am not very tan right now. Should I tan a few weeks beforehand at a tanning salon? Resolved Question: Have a Timeshare, Need advice on Mexico's Cheapest Vacation Spots.?

I have a timeshare and the time has come for a new vacation. I am thinking about somewhere cheap as far as out of pocket expenses goes, such as: restaurants, liquor/drinks, nightlife, etc; since this would be all that I would be paying for. My timeshare allows me to travel internationally for about $200 for a 7day stay; which by the way could be split up among 8 people, which is my max occupancy for my double unit. Anyway. I was thinking about Mexico because the USD could get you a lot over there however, I was doing some research and found many people complaining about being ripped off when it came to nightlife and drinks. I read reviews about places charging prices equivalent to if we were in the USA; like $7.50 USD for a beer, even in NJ, I wouldn't pay that much for a beer. Has anyone gone through this? Is this certain places or towns, or everywhere? I think the whole point people want to go to Mexico and similar destinations, besides the beaches and water activities (which I am not into) is because you get more for your money. If that's the case I would rather travel domestically, which is also cheaper for the week. If you have been to Mexico and would like to share some insight on the cost and location (town) you stayed in I would appreciate it. Also please comment if you have been to Acapulco and Puerto Vallarta. I plan on traveling in March 2010. I am not interested in Cancun, water activities, neither am I looking for a calm, relaxing vacation. I just want experience the Mexican culture and nightlife, as well as party it up. Also, I do have all inclusive options, for about 800-900 per person, however I was thinking maybe that was too high and could actually end up spending less than that without the all inclusive? Last year, my boyfriend and I went to Playa del Carmen, Mexico and loved it. This year, we are looking to go back to the Carribean in mid-February but are not sure where to go. Help! I need to find the perfect destination in Mexico, but I am looking for something specific! I went to the Pacific side last year and I want to go to the Gulf side this time where I can see some ancient ruins. I want a place that is AUTHENTIC... not dangerous like Tijuana, but a place where it is more quiet and there are not a bunch of tourists (ie cancun, couzmel, etc). Any SERIOUS suggestions would be much appreciated. Resolved Question: HELP! I've got 2 free plane tickets and want to plan a vacation, tropical and inexpensive, where would you go?

THIS IS A BIT LONG< READ ONLY IF YOU HAVE THE TIME TO HELP ME DECIDE: THANKS! First of all I don't want to sound like I am complaining here, just confused on where to go. I realize I am very lucky to have the tickets! The plane tickets are for anywhere in the U.S. plus Cancun, Bahamas, Jamaica, Puerto Rico and Aruba. Most of these places outside the U.S. would be too expensive though in terms of hotel and food for me right now for two people, so where else in the mainland U.S. could I visit that is somewhat near a nice beach, maybe some shells, and isn't too expensive for a hotel there and food? I only have about an extra 1,000 for a 3 day trip somewhere for the hotel and food and spending. All I want to do is spend some quality time with my husband and sit and watch the waves, drink a tropical drink at a tiki hut, swim in a huge pool and possibly take a boat out to a little island to find some shells. (Otherwise I also have free hotel rooms at any Harrah's hotel in the U.S. so I guess they have Harrah's in Las Vegas, Atlantic City, New Orleans, Phoenix, and other places more inland in the U.S. That would be very cheap then since I would then have free air and hotel, but none of those places is really that tropical!) I could also choose to fly to New Orleans or Miami and try a 4 day cruise. Upside of that: fairly cheap and could see Key West AND Mexico ! And lots of food all included in the price Downside: I've never been on a cruise , sometimes there are hidden costs to consider, tipping, extra excursion, etc. and I wouldn't get into the pool with tons of people, no privacy, and could seem like I'm stuck on a boat with a bunch of drunks since I heard the 4 days cruises are "party cruises". Again see I'm totally stuck on what to do and where to go with these tickets! Anyway if I don't do the Harrah's free hotel thing or the cruise then, I was thinking possibly Pensacola, Florida since it is supposed to be cheaper and they still offer the touristy things to do there, but not sure if that might be too boring. Do you have other ideas that could work? I wouldn't mind using the free tickets to California but then the hotel prices are just too high. And Virginia Beach is supposed to be nice but I'm not sure if it is expensive to visit and I know it won't be as tropical as Florida or Cancun of course since there will doubtfully be tiki huts and tropical drinks/ not sure though? Also lots and lots of people say go to Cancun but I worry about a few things: crime to and from the hotels, crime at the hotels, crime going to dinner in the cities and I'd hate to see children begging on the beach on my vacation or stray dogs starving to death running down the beaches. If you've gone there, is that what you've encountered ever? Some previous yahoo people said that was what it was like, not fun for a vacation then. Someone recommended a place calledCancun Palace (p.s. my research shows: Le Blanc in Cancun looks amazing if you have more money than me for the trip!), someone else said Myrtle Beach, others Key West? Has anyone been to Key West lately, do you have any quiet beaches or are they all packed with crazy tourists? If I can't come up with a trip that my husband would also like, then he said I should just use one of the tickets to fly to my niece's wedding in Minneapolis and wait for the other ticket for something else ....BORING use of the 2 tickets I say, and then I might never go on the somewhat more "romantic" and "relaxing" trip with my husband. I think I'd rather just pay for the wedding ticket for myself separately.Sooooo ...... if you could go anywhere, where would you fly for a fairly inexpensive vacation with my 2 free tickets? I'm totally stumped on what to do and where to go! I am 18, employed full time for the last year, out of college and want to take a vacation to Mexico, have a week to spend down there and this hotel seems to interest me, what is the minimum age to check in? Resolved Question: Would you go on A vacation to Mexico if you were pregnant? Around 4-5 months along?

My hubby and I were discussing a trip to either Cancun or Riviera Maya in the spring since we havn't gone anywhere with just the two of us for a couple years (we have a 21 month old son) We just found out that I am pregnant, but I still kind of want to go but I am worried about the food, water and bacteria you can get, what would you do? If we don't go we probably won't get to go on a vacation with just the two of us for another 1.5-2.5 yearsI appreciate everyone's opinions and thanks for not being rude about it. It's still very new and I am still in the process of taking a couple more tests just to be sure (I had a m/c in April) And I am definately going to talk to my doctor about it before we make a definate decision! more

Voting Question: Do you reccomend taking 1 year old for vaction to Mexico for 7 days?

We are going for vaction to Cancun Mexico, middle of december 2009 and we already ordered tickets with hotel for us and our 14 month old daughter. Now, we are still deciding if we should take her. For people who took their 1 year olds for vacation, can you tell me how hard it would be? It's a 3 and half hour flight (direct flight), we are staying for 7 days. How hard was it to adjust to the hotel room, ect. Please give me any tips you have. (Time difference is 1 hour, not too bad) If it's a good idea to take her, will she have fun or will it be too hard for her and for us... What you do reccomend taking for her? Thanks so much. more
