Disney Vacations Summer Questions asked

Open Question: Family Vacation ideas?

We are planning our vacation (for the summer) and we need help. We are a family of 5 including 3 teens & Nothing too expensive. We don't mind the beach, or mountains...though one of the teens really want's to go to the beach. We are considering Disney World, and Washington DC, and maybe Cozumel. Any other ideas? If so, please include info about each spot, if you can. Thanks. If it helps, we're in Texas more

Open Question: affordable romantic beach vacation? Kiawah Island, SC?

this summer will be my husband and i's 1 year anniversary and we've been looking at vacation options to celebrate. we've looked into cruises and a trip to disney, but i was trying to find great beaches with nice hotels/cottages/villas to stay in that are affordable and beautiful places to visit. i would prefer a place on/near a beach that is partially secluded (at least not in the middle of a city). anyone ever been to Kiawah Island in SC? if so, what did you think? more

Open Question: Disney World at the end of May beginning of June?

Hi! My husband and I went to Disney world for the first time for our honeymoon (August 20th, 2007), and we had such a blast, that we went back the following summer (in August again for our one year anniversary) and last summer (in July). I know that July and August are extremely hot and busy, but I was wondering what it was like at the end of May, beginning of June? We are planning to go this year from May 31st-June 7th. Since we are going so early in June, we are hoping that most schools would not have let out for summer vacation at this time lol Has anyone ever been there during that time? What is the weather like? I know it is crowded (it always is) but is it overwhelming? Any helpful hints would be appreciated! Thanks!!!! more

Resolved Question: Does Disney World have Special Offers during Value Seasons?

I'm trying to figure out whether it would be cheaper to book a vacation during the summer value season or during the regular summer season combined with a special offer. I compared prices of a vacation with a special offer during the regular summer season and prices of a vacation during the summer value season without any special offer. The two final prices are roughly the same amount. If Disney World has a special offer during the summer value season, I can save significantly more than if I went during the last week of the regular summer season. Does Disney World normally have Special Offers during value seasons? Has anyone gone to Disney World in late August during the value season and did Disney have any Special Offers at that time? more

Resolved Question: How much would it cost to bring a family of 4 to Disney World?

My moms good friend has always been their for me and I want to do something nice for them. The mom was raped, but had a lovely child who is now 12 and she adopted another who is now 6. Her mother helps her take care of the kids and she lives with her mom. They are struggling to make it by and they need a vacation. I want to bring them to Disney World as a Christmas present. I want to give them a 5 night stay at Disney's Fort Wilderness Cabins and I want to give them tickets so they can go to all 4 theme parks for 4 days. We are Florida residents so we get a discount but I don't know how much. How much would it cost me to bring all 4 of them to Disney in Spring or Summer 2011? The age of the kids are 12 and 6. Thank You! .They are Florida Residents too, and Im only paying for the room and the tickets. more

Resolved Question: Should I go to Hawaii or go on vacation with my family?

First, my mom said we were going to go to Hawaii this summer and visit relatives. I was super excited, then all of a sudden today she goes "Oh no need, Let's just go to disney land or wherever else you want to go. So the new plan was to go to disney land. My mom asked my brother and sister what they would like to do and of course they said disney land. That's 2 againsts one (majority rules). Anyways, my dad and I just had a little talk. He told me that he could tell that I was dissapointed. He also said that he could send me to Hawaii on my own if I wanted to. Then he said, "Although, It would be really great if you joined us instead, but if it makes you happy, I can pay for your fair to Hawaii, you just have to tell your mom." I REALLY REALLY REALLY want to go to Hawaii it's just the fact I don't want to dissapoint my parents and think I love the family in Hawaii more than I love them. See, they don't really get along and I'm just in the middle. They manage to only get along when I ask them to. It's just I've been wanting to visit Hawaii for a really looooooooong time. I just don't want my parents to be mad. Help me what do you think? what would you do? more

Resolved Question: What song is this from Disney Channel?

OK here's a song from Disney Channel! can you guys can guess this easy one: there's 104 days of summer vacation, and school comes along just to end it, so the annual problem for our generation is finding a good way to spend it, like maybe... buildin' a rocket, or fighting a mummy, or climbing up the eiffel tower, discovering something that doesn't exist, or giving a monkey a shower, Surfing Tidal waves, creating nanobots, or locating frankenstein's brain (it's over here!), finding a dodo bird, painting a continent, or driving our sister insaine ( !), as you can see, There's a whole lot of stuff to do before school starts this fall, (Come On Perry!) So stick with us cause and are gonna do it all, So stick with us cause and are gonna do it all, (MOM! and are making a title sequence!) ANOTHER HINT: one of the kids has a triangle head and the other doesnt talk! BTW, fill in the blanks too! more

Resolved Question: Disney vacation recommendations?

I am planning a trip to Disney World in Florida for my family - me, wife & 2 kids, ages 4 & 5. We are pretty flexible with the days we would take, but hopefully some time before summer. We would like to get a flight + hotel + park(s) in the $2000-$2500 range, for a time range of 3-4 days up to a week. Should we book with the Disney site, Priceline, Hotwire, Travelocity, etc. - which one? Should we plan on getting a rental car, or are most things within walking distance or shuttled? What are some "don't miss" things to do/see for a young family? Any recommendations/suggestions from people who have been there would be greatly appreciated! more

Resolved Question: Advice for a vacation to Disney World Florida?

Me and my friend are planning a 10 day trip to Florida for this summer. We want to do the whole Disney/Universal thing. Anyway I have a few questions that I would rather have answered by real people, and not internet sites. 1) My friend and I are 20 and 19 years old, and I know legal drinking age is 21, but what is legal age to book a hotel room? We probably want to stay like 6 days on Disney property and the remaining 3 night somewhere in Orlando near Universal since we cant rent a car. 2) What are the cheapest times to fly to Orlando, and when do you reccommend to go? 3) Please if you have any other good travel tips, or ways to save money I would love to know. We are University students so we would like to save as much as we can. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!!!!!!! Most helpful advice will get the points. Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!! more

Resolved Question: long summer vacation to Orlando?

Hello there. My husband and I plan a long summer vacation every year for the month of July. Last year we went to Europe. This year we are planning on going to the Orlando area for our vacation. This will be our first trip to Orlando and Disney World. We’ve done our homework and know about the EMH Disney offers, so we will be staying in a Disney resort while in the Disney area (Polynesian), then we will switch to a hotel across the street of Downtown Disney (Hyatt Grand regency resort). Has anyone stayed in those resorts? How are they? We will be driving there, so we’ll have our car to do our activities while not in the parks. We’ve researched things to do on international drive, and picked out a bunch. Our kids ages are 8 and 11. My question is: could you take a look at our itinerary and tell me if you think its too busy? Should we extend our vacation a few days longer? What should we keep in and take out? What are your experiences? I want to get everything figured out so we can start booking our dining reservations (character dining, etc…) and do you have any Orlando tips you would like to share with me? what type of activites/ snacks should we pack for the car ride? any answers and advice would help greatly! June 29: drive all night (13 hours) June 30: Check into hotel around noon, Mall of Millenia, Pirates Dinner Adventure July 1: Downtown Disney (Disney Quest, shopping, Cirque Du Soleil) July 2: Blizzard Beach July 3: Magic Kingdom (9-11) July 4: Magic Kingdom (9-1) July 5: Animal Kingdom (9-10) July 6: Funspot action center, Skyventure: indoor skydiving, movie July 7: Hollywood Studios (9-11) July 8: Epcot (9-12) July 9: Typhoon Lagoon July 10: WonderWorks, Gatorland zoo, titanic- the experience July 11: Magic Kingdom (9-1) July 12: beach day- Cocoa Beach, oldtown July 13: Epcot (9-12) July 14: favorite Disney park July 15: check into new hotel, hang around hotel July 16: wet n wild July 17: Islands of Adventure July 18: Universal Studios July 19: Ripleys! Resolved Question: Where's a good place in the US to go for vacation?

My family and I are looking for a place to go for summer vacation, but we're coming up short on ideas. We've thought about Washington, New York, Arizona/desert/Grand Canyon, and California. We still want other options though. I live in Florida and I've been to the beach a bunch and I've been to Disney a thousand times, so try and make your suggestions somewhere out of Florida. more

Resolved Question: Whats a great place to go for summer vacation?

It's about time to start planning our summer vacation for this year, and we're stumped at where to go.... Anyone have a favorite spot? We want something on the ocean this year.....thinking Charleston, Savannah, or Myrtle Beach. (something like that) Last year we did Disney, and the year before was Cape May, New Jersey. We have 2 small children, so it can't be anything that involves a lot of touring or walking. Thanks! more

Resolved Question: Things to do near Ft. Lauderdale, Florida?

I'm 16 and this summer we're gonna just stay with my aunt in Ft. Lauderdale who lives 10 minutes away from the beach. We've only been down there a handful of times when we were a bit younger due to our other choices in vacations. Since I will have my permit by then, my mom told me I could drive us up to to Disney's Blizzard Beach and Typoon Lagoon, and out to key west. AND since I'm a little older now I'd like to do more things rather then just hanging out at a beach for 12 days so, is there anything in or near Ft Lauderdale that is...fun? Thanks :) more

Resolved Question: Why is it cheaper to stay in a Walt Disney Resort in Summer than in the early Spring?

Resolved Question: How to make the most awesome Disney Vacation?

For my graduation present I've begged my parents to take me on my first legit Disney World vacation and I'm so excited! I went on a structured bus trip filled with old people when I was 8 and only got to spend one day in Disney (at the Magic Kingdom). Lame. I did have an awesome trip to Disney Land in summer '08, but I was with 17 other family members (with two 4 year olds) so my nuclear family and I spent a looooot of time just waiting around and it was annoying lol but we also spent days on other LA spots and stayed at an outside hotel so it wasn't a full on Disney trip. But now I'm finally getting it! I think we're trying to aim for June 12th/13th to the 19th? No true plans yet. But we are staying at one of the Disney resorts. It'll just be my parents, me (17) and my brother (22). So as much as I love them, no little tiny cousins to worry about! (even though both my brother and I are really 5 year olds at heart lol) Just one last big vacation with my dearest family in the most magical place ever before I head off to college. I can't wait :) So what can I do to amplify the awesomeness of this vacation and get the most out of it? more

Resolved Question: Looking for suggestions trying question again to fix what I said?

We have been married for 5 years. I have 2 kids from before we married (10, 7). My husband is the greatest man in the world and love him with all my heart. He treats my kids like they are his kids and has done so since the beginning. The kids real father was a abusive and gladly have not heard of seen him since before the youngest was born. Ok this happened almost 10 months ago. While at a cook out I was talking with some friends and made a few comments that probably shouldn't have. I could blame it on being a bit drunk but still in hind sight was not something should have ever said. The worst part was that my husband overheard my comments and thats what has really made our life a mess. The comment was about my husbands size and how I missed that part of some exboyfriends I had before particularly the father of my children. The fact that I had even sometimes fantasized about them while having sex with my husband. Now have to say, in his behave, that mentioned his great oral skills but that didn't seem to make things any better either. I know should have never made the comments in the first place but someone brought up conversation about size and fantasies and I just let my mouth get ahead of my brain. When my husband heard it he left the party immediately I ended up having to find a ride home that night. He also moved into the guest room for a couple weeks. One night, a couple weeks later,I came home to find our bed was gone and 2 singles were in our bedroom. Which is where we have been sleeping since. He in his bed and me in mine. I have tried everything can think of to make things better. When ever try to talk to him about it just ends in a big yelling match. He is still great to the kids and we talk about everything else as before but no intimacy. We still went on vacation to Disney this summer all of us and had a great time but nothing intimate even though we had seperate connecting room from kids. Also we still have date night twice a week and have good times out but no touching intimtacy of anykind. I have dressed sexy, tried clmibing in bed with him, etc and nothing seems to fix the problem. Have even asked him to go with me to counciling and he refuses. I love him the kids love him can not see myself without him but living with no intimacy or sex is driving me nuts. He has told me since I dont seem to do it for me then why bother. Also that if am that unhappy that I can just move out, he had the house before we married. What really hurts even more is that prior to that party we were talking about having a baby together and as can tell thats not going to happen. I love him so much and can tell he loves me and the kids but I have destroyed his ego and can not seem to fix it more

Resolved Question: A Baby Name Story 2......by request?

You and your best friend were listening to your favorite radio station when you heard the announcer say be the 4th caller and you will win an all expense paid trip for two to Paris, France to see your favorite musician live in concert. YOU WON!!! You and your best friend didn't waist any time packing. Before you knew it you were in Paris at one of the most prestigious hotels in the city with a direct view of the Eiffel tower. You spent 4 glorious nights and five splendid days. While in Paris you and your friend met some handsome Parisian men who showed you around and showed you some other things too. Nine months later you give birth to a baby girl. What do you name her? Seven years later your little girl is in second grade. She travels to Paris in the summer to visit with her dad. You are now married and happy with your partner. Your partner cares for your daughter like his/her own child. While your daughter was visiting with her dad over summer break you conceived. The pregnancy was grueling and you craved celery, bananas, and meatballs together. On December 7th you deliver a healthy, bouncing, baby boy. He looks a lot like your partner what do you name him? Your family is complete you have a girl and a boy a wonderful partner. Your daughter is 11 your son is four. It's mid April and you decided to take a family vacation to Disney World. You all had fun seeing the sites. While there you and your partner conceived. This pregnancy was easy aside from the horrible morning sickness and heartburn from the spicy food you craved. On December 25th at 1:00am you gave birth to a baby girl who looks just like you. What do you name her? Your house is full of love now your oldest daughter is 16 and can speak fluent English and French, your son is 9 and likes playing hockey, and your youngest is 5 and is the most popular girl in kindergarten. You and your partner have your hands full with taking the kids to practice meets, friends houses, sleepover parties, birthday parties, dance recitals, school recitals, doctor appointments, dentist appointments, etc that you barley have any "one on one" time. For your anniversary your best friend decides to care for your children over night while you and your partner go out on the town and stay at a fancy hotel. You conceived. The doctor's worry because of your age that this pregnancy could become disastrous and there may be minor complications with the baby. You receive a terrifying phone call four months into the pregnancy from the doctor. The doctor states that he detected an irregular heartbeat and needs you to come in right away for observation. After being poked and prodded and several tests later the news is broken to you. Good thing you were already laying down. We have discovered that you are pregnant with triplets the doctor confirms as you and your partners mouths hit the floor. On December 28 you give birth to two boys and one girl. The oldest boy looks like your dad, the second boy looks like your partner's mom, and the girl is a perfect image of your mom. more

Resolved Question: How do we get the Government to implement Fundamentalist Values into the Government?

I am so darn sick of the way we are treated for speaking the truth. Plus, there is so much crap in society that simply needs to be cleansed, if they would just turn our government Theocratic, and based on purely Fundamentalist Christian values. First off, girls go off dressing with pants, and these provocative clothes from the american eagle and other brand name trash clothes. People get tattoos, we have all these non-fundamentalist churches that care more about feeding the lazy and decorating their churches to boost a bunch of stuck up architects ego. We have all this comedy crap like Family Guy, the Simpsons, 1.5 men, and other trash like that on television, yet no shows about punishment. We have women in the workforce, so families can own nice houses, and go on vacations to evil places like Disney world. Then, Harry Potter is the most popular book out there. People listen to rock music, which just speaks about breaking rules. Then, we always get crap for trying to get rid of this stuff. We are ridiculed, ignored, yelled at, ect. SO, heres how it should be -Ban all religions except for independent Fundamentalist Churches -Make tattoos, illegal -Stop teaching ideas of Evolution, psychology, astronomy, and other sciences that blatantly contradict the bible. -Make for a civil dress code, where girls have to wear dresses, and longsleeve shirts, whether winter or summer. Guys, long pants, shirt and tie, winter or summer -Ban alcohol. -Ban any rock bands, along with any other bands that oppose our ideals. -Any activities, such as missing worship services, dancing, playing games, spending time entertaining yourself instead of working, and showing any disrespect towards fundamentalism should be punishable by law -Ban divorce, (You make the decision, you live with it) -Shut down all malls, cinemas, ethnic restaurants, amusement parks, zoos and playgrounds, and anything else related to hospitality industries. more

Resolved Question: Which Kingdom Hearts games are good, not including Chain of Memories and 358/2 Days?

I've played less than 1/4 of Chain of Memories, and almost halfway in 358/2 Days. I want to play as much of the series as I can, but I don't want to waste my money. Please tell me if its worth the 20-30 dollars to understand the story. I also want to know if the gameplay is decent (not too hard, not too easy) and if it would mess me up it if I*cough* *whisper* finished the last game before I even started the first... I've done a little research and I like them all so far. I need a second (third, forth, etc.) opinion. P.S. I like kid stuff, and I don't mind if the gore's there or not. I love Disney and cartoons, so is like a summer vacation times 3 to me. And no mean comments, please?... Thank you. more

Resolved Question: we don't know where to honeymoon in May?

My fiance and I are struggling with a location for our honeymoon. We are just very indecisive at the moment. We would like to keep it low budget. Not sure on a wedding registry it would be nice since we already live together and have almost any household item we could need. We are planning on registering at a few stores for somethings we could need or want. We have talked about it many times now, every time I search on the internet you seem to get the same locations. We live in Minnesota and camping is an option for some of our honeymoon. We are getting married May 15, 2010 and are looking to leave the following weekend as my vacation time is limited and take nine days to enjoy ourselves. We have come up with Wisconsin Dells (there is a car show called Automotion, May 22-23 that we would enjoy) and Door County (we were there briefly this summer). We are not sure about a cruise. We are not rides kind of people so places like Disney are out. We are pretty laid back. more

Resolved Question: Has anyone been to Disney World? If so, can you tell me?

Resolved Question: will I ever get back together with my ex boyfriend?

My ex and I have been going out for three years. We both were eachothers first relationship, and first love. We were very opposite. He is boring, calm, cautious, and conservative; on the other hand, I was wild, wacky, and weird. I didn’t mind that we were opposites but sometimes it irritated me. Overall he was a really nice and caring boy and that’s what mattered most. But over the years he changed greatly. He talked to more people made more friends and dressed different, more of what was in style. He became egotistic and very proud. He liked to brag a lot about his possessions and skills and cared too much about what people thought of him. He didn’t call me as much as he used to. When we went out places he never acted like he was my boyfriend because he would never display his affection towards me. He never paid for me for anything. Scott befriended a lot more girls now and, he started talking to people who I thought were bad influences. I was worried Scott was becoming a follower. I put the most effort into our relationship. Altough he did buy me nice gifts for my birthday and holidays. He did give me affection when he wanted to and he told me he loved me. He also did respect me and didnt want me for just sex. Senior year he told me he was going to go to a college upstate for business. It was three hours away and I was upset since I was staying home at a community college. He also told asked me if I ever thought about seeing other people because long distance relationships are difficult. I was so upset and asked him if he was planning on breaking up with me in college. He replied “no I just wanted to know what you were thinking… I was never planning on it…it’s just what if one of us finds someone while where apart”? After that I felt distant from him. I wondered if we really would last together in college. I mean we were both each other’s first relationship. We would never really know if we truly loved each other unless we dated other people. I realized that I actually felt the same way ever since Scott changed. I thought, “Not everyone’s perfect but I wasn’t a fan of his transformation.” To top things off, Scott ignored me on our senior trip to Disney. Our trip to Disney. He didn’t want to be with me the whole time we were down there. He only agreed to sit with me on the bus, other than that he was off with his friends and some where girls. This bothered me even more. The summer was fun until I completely messed things up. Scott was away on vacation, and I was invited to this party one of my coworkers were having. I was planning on going with my friend. We get there and one of his friends was flirting with me. I was surprised because I never thought any cute guy thought I was attractive besides my bf. He was very good-looking and I was flattered by all his compliments and sweet talk. Then we got drunk and I madeout with him and stuff. I felt so guilty the next day and planned on telling my bf about what happened before he found out from someone else. I told him what happened. He seemed okay with it. He didn’t seem upset and said,” well… I forgive you. This is the only real issue we’ve had in three years. I know you didn’t mean anything by it. I still love you”. I was awfully happy he didn’t hate me for what I did. However, a few days later He and I had another talk. He decided to break up with me. His excuse was “long distance relationships are hard and I think we should see other people. If were meant to be we’ll get back together. I’m also worried about worrying about you cheating on me again. I still love you but I think we need a break. I think we should still talk and be friends too”. Honestly, I think he was planning on dumping me before all this happened. Since the breakup we haven’t talked much and I realized how much I miss him. After a week of him being up at college, he has another girlfriend already who looks like me!? ... i know i hurt him. but i feel like we couldve gotten past this. Im so hurt now... and i feel sick.. Ugh and i feel like he put all the blame on me.. I think he wanted to be free and yet idk ... im so confused i want him back ... i just need 2 no if thers still hope that theres a possibilty that we might get back together. We were so close... is that whole " if its meant to be " thing is true.. ahhhh i need advice please more

Resolved Question: Planning A Disney World Trip in Summer 2010?

I am trying to plan a trip to Disney World in Summer 2010. It will be for 10 people (2 Sr. Citizens, 2 Adults, 18yr, 16, 14, 10, 8, & 4 yr old). Would it be cheaper to rent a condo/villa close to Disney for a 10 day stay than a hotel? If so, would appreciate suggestions on which condo to stay at, was thinking of: Barefoot'n in the keys, Liki Tiki Village, Orbit One Vacation Villa, or Parkway International Resort. And does anyone know the driving times from these condos to Disney? more

Voting Question: I really need some help. Since I'm forced to be with him, I need to befriend him again?

Anyways, this question is about my ex-boyfriend. Before our relationship, we were really close best friends, and he was probably the best friend I've ever had. Anyways, the relationship was practically a fairytale in the beginning, and he and I were absolutely obsessed with each other, and not just in the physical way (for all the people who immediately are going to assume, he's a teenager, therefore it was all for sex.) He had liked me all school year, and despite me kindly denying him more than a few times, he was really persistent, and I finally found myself falling hard for him. He was a huge part of my life though, even before that, and we probably talked an average of more than two hours a day. We truly were best friends, and we could tell each other anything and everything. Yeah, it sounds like a Disney movie, and now that I re-read this, I realize that I sound like a love-sick idiot, but it's alright because he was one too when we were together. Also, I just wanted to add, that he wanted to wait for sex until we went to Europe together senior year (our parents said that if we were still together then, they would let us vacation with each other the summer after senior year.) He also initiated conversations about us naming our kids and planning our wedding. He really liked me, and I really liked him, and we really loved each other while it lasted. Also, he waited around for me to be his first kiss, although a lot of other girls threw themselves at him, and I was his first serious girlfriend. I also met his parents and he met mine. This was serious. Yeah, haha. Sorry about all that, I'm just making sure everyone knows it was more than physical, and it was serious. Anyways, the relationship ended after a lot of things in our lives were causing stress to the relationship, by hurting us individually; my other best friend moved, my parents were fighting, lots of things were happening, and I slipped back into clinical depression. His parents also caught us kissing in our underwear one time, and then they started pressuring him to break up with me, and shortly after his mom got diagnosed with cancer. We were just constantly making each other upset, so I broke up with him, we got back together, and then he finally broke up with me. Things ended badly. We both were huge assholes to each other, and my friends did some pretty petty things to him. Now he's managing my tennis team, so I have to spend ten hours a week with him at least, and I want to be his friend. How do I do that though? I'm noticeably quiet and awkward around him, and I've never had this problem before. I still like him, and I still have feelings for him; as soon as I told myself, hey I might finally be over it, I showed up to my tennis practice and was told I'd be seeing him five days a week until December. How do I get over him, and start being his friend? Fcuk, I've tried so hard. I've focused on friends and hobbies, but part of me is still missing, it seems, and even though I keep trying, I still dream about him. What do I do? It's been three months almost, and I was making progress until I had to see him again. more

Resolved Question: Please, please help me. How can I get over everything, and start rebuilding my relationship with him?

Haha, sorry about posting this in Gender Studies, but I've just found that many of you are a lot more intelligent that some of the retards in Singles and Dating. Age isn't everything, you know. Also, he's open to being friends, we've talked on the phone about it, but I'm just terrible in person. I'm the issue. How do I fix myself? And how am I supposed to focus on tennis when there are like twenty other girls in skirts who are practically in love with him? It isn't fair. I'm definitely one of the prettier girls on the team, but it pains me to have to watch.Yes, Jack. I made all of this up for sympathy. Cause that makes so much sense. And I also want to add that I do focus on grades and my future, and I get straight As. I'm going to study business at USC, and then hopefully go on to get an MBA from Stanford. Just because I'm having some problems with an important relationship of mine, and just because I'm younger, doesn't mean you should assume things or be condescending when I honestly needed help. more

Voting Question: Nice cheap beach vacation for young couple?

My boyfriend of almost a year and I would like to skip our senior trip, and plan our own vacation for summer 2010. (The school wants $2,000 from each student to go to Disney World =/) We would love to go on a beach vacation, we just don't know where. We live in NY so it might be easier to suggest something on the east coast so we can drive, but its up to you. Thanks in advance =] more

Resolved Question: huge mistake? or right decision?

so, first off, my now ex bf and i met by complete fate. we both were at the same hotel, in disney world at the same exact time, same place, its crazy. we both discovered we were going to be attending the same college in the fall...INSANE. we exchanged numbers and im not gonna lie it was pretty exciting. he texted me and we started talking casually. I returned from vacation to find out he had a gf of over 2 years...:( i was totally bummed but figured id keep talking to him and keep a friendship...who knows;) so we started texting and talking online every day he was cute and i started to think about him quit a bit, i think the thrill was that he had a gf at the time. I never came on to him or anything but he started to intensly flirt with me. one thing led to another and when we got to school we both started to fall VERy hard for eachother. he was in a whirlwind of emotions cause was still deeply in love with his ex but was started to have intense feelings for me, and also knew things wouldnt work with his ex with the whole college situation. It was crazy frustrating for me cause this boy just couldnt make up his friggen mind...and I waited around patiently, and was there for him through everything, all the hard times he was going through at the time. he everntually left her for me after a month, but waited a while to ask me to be his gf just to show some respect towards his ex. I was happy to be with him obviously but i kept wondering if he just chose me out of convience. I became insecure but never showed it. he always did amazingly nice things for me, treated me well, protected me, told me i was the most amazing girl in the world, and hes madly in love with me, would do anything for me, you know how it goes. I knew how into me he was but i always felt inferrior to his ex especially since he would always mention her & continued to keep her pictures up on the wall 4 months into our relationship!!! we had amazing times together, times i will never forget but about 7 months into our relationship things started to change . we were both home for the summer and he was going back to visit his hometown were his ex was from ....( they didnt speak once through our entire relationship left off on bad terms) I started to feel a little worried that he was going to be so close to her but brushed it off, however i started getting very frustrated at things he would do and say and it would get blown out of proportion and thus turn into a major argument. he mentioned going to lunch with an old girl ( a friend) he grew up with who was in love with him for years but he claims he had nothing for...i told him i was insulted that he would plan that without considering my feelings...it turned into a major argument. i was constatly questioning and doubting him and started to feel very depressed in general. during the year we clung to eachother and i never made any friends my freshman year of college cause i did EVERYTHING with him, same for him. we were both extremley dependent on eachother to an unhealthy point. when we stopped seeing eachother for the summer i got very angry and different towards him....everything he did bothered me, and we literally fought for two months straight. one day he was supposed to come visit me and complained because it was ten mins out of the way from his work...i sarcastically said well then if its too much work why dont u just come tomorrow ( we hadnt seen eachother in a week) he goes maybe i will...i flipped out we started fighting and i just broke down something came over me and dumped him because i was so unhappy. my dad lost his job this summer so im not even going back to my university just commuting and taking classes....i will prob not see him again for a very very long time and we left off on terribly harsh terms...i told him about a hook up after the break up, and he even went hung out and made ammends with his ex a few days after we broke up!!!!:( i was devasted after the breakup and felt like made a huge mistake....i miss him so terribly now and im so sad....ill never get him back i know, but i just dont know if i should call him or just let time run its course? idk what to do i think about him more than i ever have now that hes gone..... more

Resolved Question: I've got yet another problem!!! Help!?

Alright so here's the story: My four friends and I want to start a show (like a tv show) but we don't have: sets computer software extras script writers an acting coach (one of my friends is an actress so I thought she could help) a director many actors (there is only us five) a camera crew and producers OR MONEY!!! we were thinking we could just get costumes and stuff from like good will or something. School is starting in 2 days so what I was thinking we could do is post signs wanting directors, extras, cameras, actors, and stuff like that, but I still can't think of what to do for the sets. My friends and I were thinking we could just use our houses and be on "summer vacation" so we wouldn't have to use the school, but would that be too boring? Also, we are all girls so would that be boring too? We were thinking of just doing this for fun but I kind of want to make it something a little bigger than "just for fun" but I don't know how to get someone to notice us like Disney, ABC Family, Nickelodeon or whatever (not necessarily them). We were making a friendship comedy type of thing so what would be good ideas for that? Any ideas you have for ALL of what I said would be greatly appreciated! Thank you sooo much for your help! :~) more

Resolved Question: What would you name these kids?

1. You are married to a man named Joshua and just moved into a 3 bedroom stone craftsman house in Colorado. You have a job as either an author or a singer, which one do you choose? 2. One day you begin feeling sick. You see a doctor and find out you are pregnant, with triplets! You can't believe it. It is one boy and two girls. If you chose author all first names have to be after famous writers or book characters, if you chose singer, all first names have to be of your favorite singers or have to do with music. All middle names should be the same amount of syllables. 3. You love your triplets, and you love motherhood. When they are 4 you all take a skiing trip to Aspen and have a great time. So great that when you come home you wind up pregnant. This time it is with a twin boy and girl! First names can be your favorite boy and girl names, one of the middle names must be Aspen, and one has to do with winter or snow (you can pick for either the boy or girl). 4. The triplets are now 6, twins are now 4, they all get along pretty well. During the summer you all take another vacation, do you go to Hawaii or to Disneyland in California? 5. Another great trip leads to another great night. You are pregnant again! This time it is just with one, you are relieved. You find out it is a girl. If you went to Hawaii give her a Hawaiian first name and any middle name, if you went to Disneyland give her a Disney Princess name, any middle name. 6. Five years later and six kids later you definitely feel you are done. Your career has also taken off. If you are an author what genre do you write? If you are a singer what type of music do you sing? You are very cramped in the house so you move. Do you move to a large beautiful Victorian house or a modern glass mansion? 7. It is a year later, you are all settled in. The triplets are about to graduate 6th grade, the twins are 10 years old, and your little girl is 6. You are thinking about another trip for just the two of you, until plans change. You are pregnant again! It was unplanned but you are happy. It is twin boys! If you chose the Victorian house give them old fashioned first and middle names, if you chose the modern house give them trendy, modern names and middle names. 8. (Optional) Your kids are all grown up now, what do they do for jobs, where do they live, and are there any grandkids? Thanks for playing!Mine: 1. Author 2.
