A couple of my friends and I want to go on a last minute vacation before we go back to school in 3 weeks. We've pretty much spent the last 2 months in our summer houses in the Hamptons and are really bored now. We're going to be seniors in high school so we want to go somewhere fun. Not into museums or anything boring. Somewhere with a low drinking age, good shopping, nightlife, and somewhere exotic. We were thinking Dubai/Abu Dhabi or Sharm El Sheikh, Egpyt but the drinking age is 21 for both so that's out of the question. So we're thinking Buenos Aires, Argentina now? Any recommendations? THIS IS A BIT LONG BUT GUYS, BEAR WITH ME. I HAVE TO GIVE AS MANY EXAMPLES AS POSSIBLE SO YOU CAN TELL ME. Hi I am 25 years old and work at an accounting firm. I have recently noticed that boss in our dept who is 45, may be flirting with me at work. I have been there for several months now. I know that dating anyone from work could get messy but I think I feel flattered by all of this behavior. The boss is an overall friendly person with people and mellow. However, in the beginning I thought it was just being nice to me like he is with most people there, but I am starting to think it may be flirting. For example, one day I wore a pretty white dress and he told me during lunch as he walked passed me "you look really great today." Then we spoke over the phone from my cubicle and I asked a question about paperwork and he said, "By the way you look really, really, nice today, and your hair is amazing." Also, I asked for some supplies to be sent to my cubicle, which may have usually taken a day at least to get, but he personally brought them over. He also told me "you look like a model," and gave a friendly invite to lunch when we were going to be in the same city last month for vacation. I ended up not going on vacation at all thought so that never happened. Other things are him saying that he feels like leaving the company because of the stress and commuting into the city and I said, "If you leave, so will I," in a friendly tone. I only said this bc the other bosses are arrogant and hard to deal with. He answered, "I will let you know where I will be so you can follow me." He has also promised me a promotion in a higher dept. for next winter and mentioned it again out of the blue yesterday with a smile. This morning he asked me if I was going to go to the companies "Beginning of Summer," bash at a catering hall. Why would he ask? One day I also called his office for a question about work and he said, "I am glad you called me. I had an annoying caller on line 1 and you saved me." Do you think the comment "follow me," and asking about the bash are flirting? I would be interested in getting to know the person but don't want to send out signals if this is just a "friendly" approach. This is why I asked if he seems to be flirting. I get confused about it. It is a delicate situation at work and I don't want to say something flirtatious and look bad. Today, everyone in the office was busy. However, there was eye contact made when I went to clock in. Then I was in a coworkers office to print something, he passed by from outside and from a few people in there his eye contact falls right onto mine-twice. The third time was in the hallway from like 30 feet down the hall, he was talking to someone and it's as if he noticed me from the corner of his eye and looked up in my direction. Does this also show interest? Today he made a comment when I went into his office to hand in some papers. I was wearing a cute red pencil dress and he looked at me checking out my outfit saying "You look....very Latin today." (My background is from Argentina and Spain). He did a quick up and down scan with his eyes. I don't know what to say. I also asked him how the annual bash was and he said "it was OK." I asked if I skipped out on a fantastic time, and he said "no, don't worry, I would have let you know." Yesterday, he called my cubicle to tell me that he was impressed with my french. he is French Canadian and I studied it for years, so I wrote an email about some clients all in french and he seemed to be impressed. He said, "I am very impressed with all of these qualities, you are some dream girl!" Then I had to work 5 floors up in another office and he took the stairs to come up and see if I was there. I am leaving for vacation in two days and he peeked in the office door and said, don't forget to pass by and say goodbye when you leave." Someone else was in the office and gave a weird look with a smirk-maybe I was being paranoid or maybe he picked up on something. I then called the boss when the other person left and asked, "did you need me for something?" he said "no, I just came by to see you and I took the stairs five flights too (not the elevator)." He also knows some guy likes me in the building and sort of follows me around, he said, "that's what happens when you're gorgeous." All this confuses me, really. I will be back at work in a couple of weeks. What vibes should I send out and how can I flirt back without making things uncomfortable. After all, it is a workplace. Because of days like today, this is why I don't know if he is interested. more

I´m an American girl that has been working in southern France since September. Around December I visited a cuison in Paris and through him I met a really great guy whose the same age as me and has alot of the same interests. He is also from the same town in Argentina where my family is from and moved to France 2 years ago. We were instantly attracted to each other and I ended up staying extra days visting my cuz to spend more time with him. The problem is that he has a gf, not just any gf, but one that came from Argentina 9 months ago to be with him in France. I know this is completly wrong and I shouldnt be interested in this guy, but its been really difficult not to be. He flirted excessivly with me in Paris and brushed her off constantly, she was always around when me and him were ¨hanging out¨ but he had no problem stroking my hair, holding my hand, kicking me under the table or saying romantic things to me when she wasnt looking. On nights that the two of them would visit my cuz, he would not want to go home and they would end up sleeping over just so he could see me more. In the mornings, she would want to go back to their apt and do stuff, but he would tell her no. At one point he suggested we all go to the park and she said she would go, but he acted like he didnt want to anymore (since i wasnt going). When i left Paris he texted me a few times and a few weeks later i went back to Paris to visit a college friend and we met up. It was the 1st time we were alone, all we did was talk about us and our relationship and how much he likes me. He asked me when I was ever going to kiss him, but I let him know as long as he has a gf we cant be together. He was cool with it and let me know he had an amzing time and never met anyone like me before. He told me he doubted hed be with his gf for that long and they were having bad times, he asked if I would ever pick up and move in with him. He texted me a few times and then stopped for a month. About 2 weeks ago he contacted me about coming to Paris to chill and party (since we´re both huge on that). I told him my freinds were outta town and I didnt have a place to stay and he said I would stay with him since his gf was going on vacation. I told him I cant stay with him and he got a a lil mad. I thought he would stop speaking to me but then he contacted me a few days later telling me to just come visit him for a day that way we could just hang out and I dont have to stay the night with him. i was not gona travel that long just to hang out for a few hours and said no. I thought hed be pissed again, but he still called me a week later to tell me to let him kno when I´´ll be in Paris to hang out. I basically decided to not talk to him anymore because its too much temptation and I can never be second to another woman. Now the problem is I got a job in Paris starting in Sept, so now I wont be 8 hours away from him and we could techinically meet up anytime. Even if i dont tell him im moving there after my summer in the USA, he´ll find out from my cuison and I´ll def see him at his house since their very close. Okay i have been dating this girl for 2 years. Let me start off by saying that. I am 18 she is 17. I live in Alaska so the law is fine. Her mother is from Argentina and her dad is the Commissioner of corrections so he is a very successful man. I love this girl with all my heart. We were each others firsts for everything. Sex included. Now, when we started dating i was working at a place called fred myers. I got busted for shoplifting deli food on lunch. They thought i got fired because after that i stopped working there. But i really got fired because after that day i had taken 2 weeks of vacation and my boss just said that i am taking to much time to spend with my GF. So they layed me off. So there is the first bad thing - a theif in their eyes. Next - My family isnt the richest. But we are not poor we are more of a little upperclass but not rich rich. I also come from a family where all problems can be solved if you confront them. Her family however is the exact opposite. her family HATES CONFRONTATION mainly because her dad is a political person and they just dont like that. Her family is pretty wealthy too. So the first homecoming we had some stuff went down and her mom got really mad and tried to split us apart. Saying i was no good and a piece of sh*t basicly. My girlfriend and me decided to take a 1 week break and i finally begged her parents for forgivness. But before we broke up i was so crushed because i knew it was going to happen that my dad called and confronted them saying that there drama starting is effecting our family now and he wants to know what is going on. Nothing wrong with that but her parents bacicly said after he hung up "the nerve of that c0cksucker" So a year went by and we started having sex. Well we wanted her to get on Birth controll that way we would limit the risk of having a kid. But her mom grew up as a Jhevias wittness (sorry for spelling) so her sex morals were very strict. No sex till marrage. But we were in love and we knew it was right so we hid it from her family. Well this last summer her mom found her pills and freaked. Banning me from seeing her and wanted us to split. everyday was a constant fight to stay together. She loved me so much but she knew that it would make her mom and family so happy if i would just leave the family alone. After the summer passed they started to welcome me into the house and they acted as if i was their daughters boyfriend again. christmas went by. new years. Everything. Untill this last week. So we have been talking about prom for a while. I myself am pulling a fifth year of highschool because i really just want to graduate. They think i am a failure and my girlfriend couldnt help but agree. I think i am too but i am not giving up! We went prom dress shopping wednesday. Everything was great! We had so much fun looking for dresses. Well i got to her house to drop her off and her mom asked if i could drive her into eagle river and drop her off at her school so when she got off work she could take her into anchorage for some more prom dress shopping. I said No problem! The next morning i picked up my gf and everyone was happy. We got to my gf's school and her mom called and asked me to promise i would be safe. i of course said i would. Well her mom called the school to let them know that i was picking her up and they said "You sure you want him picking her up? He is a pretty bad driver." Well that sent her mom over the edge - she texted me saying dont worry about it and she would pick her up - i thought nothing of it and said no problem glad i could help. Well that night my gf called and i could tell instantly that something was wrong. She started talking about how her mom thinks im unhealthy because i stay up late sometimes and i dont wake up at like 6am everyday and how im a little overweight which i can agree with i could lose some weight. But then she said that sentance. "I cant do this anymore Zack.." My heart sank. I asked what? She said us. I cant take living through hell with my parents. we need to call it quits. Well i was holding back tears and i starting begging her no no no i can change tell me what i have to do and she kept saying there is nothing i can do it is not fixable. Now i was thinking she found another guy but she is the most faithful girl i have ever met. These last couple of days have been hell for me and on friday i went and saw her after school and she was still gun ho about this break up. She kept saying "i just want my mom to be happy" I cant understand any of this because i am so in love with her and i dont see a problem with her dating another guy because this same thing happened with her sister except her mom actually walked in on them having sex. But her mom broke them apart too and her sister pretty much shunned every guy out of her life and is pretty much a nun now. I can see alex doing that but i dont want her to have to live a lie more

I tell you that in December I went on holiday to Sierras de Córdoba, was very nice.We visited many places and also visited my uncle, Guillermo. A few days ago came to visit Guillermo and Luca, and spent a few days at my house, they send many greetings and hope to see you soon. so my friend is writing a book of her life story she gave me the first chapter and here it is. ATTENTION WHORE- CHAPTER 1. Are you an attention whore? Well, saying that I understand you is an understatement. “My friend” went through that exact same experience. I’m going to elaborate as if I were she; once more this is my friend, NOT ME. Mkay? Great. So let’s begin on the first day of middle school. Miniscule, frightened, and so damn intimidated by these huge 7th graders and 8th graders. Right at this moment, my life would flip like a fucking coin. Yes this may sound a little trite, but you’ll get over it. I had no idea the shit I was going to go through in the following three years of my life. Okay fine, it’s not that big of a deal, but indeed the title of this story fit me perfectly though not until 7th grade. So as a sixth grader, I had no authority whatsoever. I was lucky to get a slight nod or a smile from the cruel elderly middle schoolers, rather than a nasty death-look. Oh, how much I loathed those stares. They made me feel like a fly on their squeaky clean windshield of life. So, throughout my entry to this parallel universe, I discovered these new exclusive cliques that seemed like one of those typical high school movies. Though they weren’t emphasized until later on. So I had a nice enough year. I met one of my best friends that year. Everyone respected her. She soon became one of “the girls.” Which includes my present best friends. I wasn’t “in” those days. So anyways, these girls that I mentioned were nice. Yes, they were like V.I.P, but I didn’t mind. I started hanging out with the more often and we became friends. Blah. Lets get to the juicy shit, shall we? So by the end of 6th grade, I developed pretty well. I got the dreaded period in 5th grade, which meant of course I had well formed body parts. In other words, my boobs were larger than any of my friends. This caused for me to get attention from the opposite sex, which I enjoyed. A lot. And this is where it starts. Summer was approaching. I made another new present best friend. This girl is a grade younger. Her titties were as large as mine. The male attention direction switched. Cause that’s how the cookie crumbles. Out with the old, in with the new. Jealousy raged inside me. My desire for male interest increased heavily. I had to do something! And so, my first kiss was bound to happen. Soon. And it did. After coming back from my lengthy vacation in Argentina, I was at my new equal-tit-sized friend’s house with a shitload of people. So this womanizer comes up to me. Short. Blonde. A year older. And this guy happened to be my close friend (and present enemy). A week before that, my other best friend told me she likes the same guy. Um… lets just say I’ve made out with this kid and infinite amount of times since then. Don’t be judgmental though. After what I’m about to tell you, you can be. My friend, (nameofguy) and I were walking around our condominium and we were headed over to our “spot” which is the bathroom of the Olympic pool. So the guy tells me we should race over there. I wasn’t born fucking yesterday. He obviously wanted to get ass, so I asked my friend if it was all right with her if we raced, and she said sure (which in chick world means hell no) but obviously I was clueless. So I run off with this dude that my best friend likes… and I felt rebellious. Kind of like a thrill. Though regret swallows me till this day. When we were out of her sight (I noted) he kisses me. Softly. He tries to go further, I pushed him off. I knew what he wanted. He knew I was easy. So when my friend got to us, we go over to our spot. The three of us sat on the cold marble floor. Her mom was calling her, she stepped out. As soon as she was out, he attacked me like a lion attacks his fucking dinner. I was a bit baffled as to what to do. After all, I had barely any experience. So I just followed him. Our tongues inside each other’s cheeks. I’m grossed out right now even thinking of it. The family has decided on fostering a teenager. My parents (aged 55 and 52) have been together for almost 20 years with no problems and have two daughters, ages 15 and 12. we are very financially stable and vacation every summer all over the states and occasionally out of the country. i think my mom is the most amazing mother ever, she gives to us, the family, and help people suffering in ukraine, russia, argentina, and poland at the same time. shes helped people suffering with cancer in our community also and all she wants out of life is to help people, give her children the best life possible, and earn a spot in heaven. we're very happy together, and i've always wanted an older brother. my parents are getting more okay with homosexuality because i'm very pro-gay, in the GSA at my school, and i came out to them as a bisexual and they took it okay too(i'm the 15 year old daughter). 40% of the homeless people in the US are gay teens, so we wanted to find a some organization or shelter that lets families foster trans-gender teens. does anyone know any place like this, if so can i get a phone number or even better, a website link? and any tips or things we should know before fostering? thank you all so much! more

I am an American and I really want to go to another country, (i have my eyes set on Argentina) this upcoming summer. I want to learn a language. I know I am only going to speak a language fluently if i immerse myself w/i an environment in which people only speak that language. I have taken French all my life, but I am extremely confident I can pick up Spanish, as i am a fast learner and i have complete determination and faith in myself. I am currently a senior in high school, so I will be 18 by the time i arrive in Buenos Aires and when my summer vacation is over i will have to go back to America to attend my University. (I want to leave sometime in June) i want to leave immediately after my high school graduation. I hope to only return to America to attend my university. Does anyone have any good suggestions or programs that can provide me with an opportunity that i have drawn out? I do not want to be part of a program that would confine me and set a strict schedule. I want to perhaps stay with a host family, explore Buenos Aires freely and the rest of Argentina. Rest assured i have every intention of treating my host family (if this should occur) with the utmost respect and abiding by their rules. I believe staying with a host family would greatly benefit me as i would have someone to converse with (in Spanish) I also would like to take a language class (if possible...I'm sure it is) but i am totally open to suggestion. I'm going to Argentina over summer vacation. I'm going with my mother who is unsupportive of my choice to be vegan. As some of you probabley know, Argentina is big on meat. Before I went vegan I was a vegetarian and my whole family over there understands what I can and cannot eat. Being vegan is a whole different story. They aren't going to understand and they'll most likely try to put diary or eggs in my meals. Keeping in mind I'm 14 and I will NOT accept answers like "Just stop being vegan for that short amount of time" can you please help me?!I am vegan and my mom doesn't support me but I don't let her control me. I have been vegan for a while now and I honestly don't care what my moms says. I cook my own dinners and I'm not being stuck up by saying I'm not gonna eat meat.
