Im recently talking to this guy and we have been in the process of getting to know one another. He recently went on vacation to italy for a month and said he hoped i have a great summer and he mananged to keep in contact with me while he was there. He has asked me lots of questions such as whats my major? my hobbies? how many classes im taking this summer? etc. We met a few times at church and he wanted to hang out during this summer but i been busy with summer school and work that it was not possible. He recently moved to texas for med school. I asked how his new home is? he said its a little empty it could use a women's touch. So i said well dont worry you will make friends soon. So he said that wasnt the anwser he was hoping for.I also suggested making friends in church since he hardly knows anyone there. He replied by saying im sure things will work out but if they dont can we still chat..what did he mean? Oh and the other day he texted me saying hey how are you? so i was like good you? EDGARTOWN, Mass. (AP) - It's Sunday and President Barack Obama is on vacation, so that means it's time for another round of golf on Martha's Vineyard. His motorcade got an early start for the Vineyard Golf Club for his second visit there during his summer break. Before the "Hate Bush" crowd begins whining about "Bush took more", they are well reminded that Bush's visits to Crawford were WORKING vacations.... more like TELECOMMUTING than vacations... Crawford was a fully functioning Western White House, with communications and staff equivalent to the WH in DC... He hosted foreign dignitaries there as well... Visitors to the ranch have included: •Russian President Vladimir Putin, November 2001 •British Prime Minister Tony Blair, April 2002 •Saudi King Abdullah, April 2002, April 2005 •Saudi Prince Bandar bin Sultan, August 2002 •Chinese President Jiāng Zémín, October 2002 •Spanish Prime Minister José María Aznar, February 2003 •Australian Prime Minister John Howard, May 2003 •Japanese Prime Minister Koizumi Jun'ichirō, May 2003 •Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi, July 2003 •Mexican President Vicente Fox, March 2004, March 2005 •Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak, April 2004 •Spanish King Juan Carlos and Queen Sofía, November 2004 •Canadian Prime Minister Paul Martin, March 2005 •Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon, April 2005 •Colombian President Álvaro Uribe, August 2005 •German Chancellor Angela Merkel, November 2007 •Danish Prime Minister Anders Fogh Rasmussen, February 2008 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prairie_Chapel_Ranch http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Western_White_House http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/6/6c/George_W_Bush_and_Vladimir_Putin_by_Limestone_fireplace_at_Texas_White_House_in_Crawford_Texas.jpg The only "royalty" barry has seen on his vacations is Michelle Antoinette, fresh off her Spanish adventure.libs' best answer is a third grade "BUT HE DID IT TOO!!!" Following Michelle Obama's Spanish vacation renting all 60 rooms at a Luxury Spanish Villa with her youngest daughter & 40 of Michelle's closest friends and before the whole family 10 day get away to Martha Vineyard in Massachusetts the advisers to Obama got him to squeeze in a 2 day weekend getaway in Panama City, Florida on the Gulf of Mexico just to counter the ELITIST IMAGE there many, many vacations to most luxurious spots the taxpayers money can get them to on Air Force 1 & 2. I guess they needed a 2 day weekend getaway to help them rest up from all that luxurious vacationing they have been doing this summer. In the past 18 months the Obama has taken 8 vacations - HOW MANY HAVE YOU TAKEN? ARE THE OBAMAS SLUMMING IT DOWN ON THE GULF OF MEXICO ON A TWO DAY WEEKEND GETAWAY? Oh, and those who want to attack Bush to try and defend the elitist vacationing of the Obama's - Bush in 8 years took 77 trips home to his ranch in Crawford - and stayed in his 1,300 sq ft home and cut brush. Oh and the house was fully wired and connected to allow him to do everything he could do at the White House. The second place he spent most of his "vacation" time was at Camp David mostly on weekends and again Camp David the presidential getaway is wired up like the White House allowing him to do everything he needed to from there. Congress left on vacation Aug 2001 and when George W. Bush decided to spend most of August at his ranch in Texas instead of the White House the Press had a conniption criticizing Bush. So far no such thing from the press even in light of the recession, gulf spill and Michelle's Spanish luxury get away w/ 40 best friends. http://theblacksphere.net/obamas-true-black-royalty/ moreVoting Question: Why won't he ask me out? I need a guy's opinion, please?
Okay, well I’ve liked my teacher since the tenth grade, three years ago. He knows this. We’ve flirted a lot, but have never crossed the line. I wrote him poems and love stories, which he liked. And he gave me a chocolate bar once and took up for mw when other students called me hurtful names. This summer, after I graduated, we hung out a bit, and I lost my virginity to him. We’ve only had sex three times. The problem is, when I ask him how much he likes me, he avoids answering. He says that he’s not emotional, and he hates talking about things like that. I asked him when I talk about other guys does he get jealous, and he said that he just doesn’t get jealous. Yet he kept asking about my boyfriend when I had one. Also, he can be really sweet. Like he gave me his jacket to wear in school when I was cold, sticks, up for, me, bought me that gift (which says a lot because he is super cheap) when he went on vacation, and held my hand. When I confront him about his sweet actions and how I like them, he says something like “don’t get used to it” or denies it and says I’m looking too far into it. But when I told him that I missed him when he went to Texas, he said that I was “so sweet.” And he called me really sweet once more since then. However, he still hasn’t asked me to be his girlfriend yet. He supposedly is dating an easy chick right now. The thing is, he bought be a gift when he went on vacation and held my hand when we rode in the car, and bought me lunch. And he’s editing my book for me, which is really important to me. This weekend, we are going to go to the library and work on my novel for a bit. Does he like me for real? Why won’t he ask me out yet? I’m eighteen and he’s thirty-two. Can you please explain to me what is up with him? Thanks so much! I really liked when he gave me his jacket when I was cold and even rubbed my arm to warm me up; but--like I stated earlier--when I verbally point out the sweet stuff he does, he denies it, or says "Is that what you think?" I need advice. moreVoting Question: Guys, do your actions speak louder than your words?

have a child support order in Texas and I am living in Nevada due to the Military, I was never married to the mother to my two oldest children whom has only let me fly my children out for the summer one year and I paid for the whole trip. When I went back home for vacation this past month she was refusing to let me see the kids because she said her new husband is "jealous". After they got into a huge arguement and he ran off she let me visit with the children outside of her apartment for about an hour until her husband came home. I told her that i wanted my children for christmas this year ( I have even years for christmas and she has odd) and she got very upset after I told her that I would pay to fly them out and she should pay to fly them back home to her, she said she wasn't going to do that because she never told me to bail out, join the military and leave Texas so i was going to have to pay for the full trip if i wanted to see the kids. I also have a child support order in Montana with another child and we have it set up that I pay for the travel to me and her mother is responsible for the travel back, is there any law in Texas specifying how the travel expenses are to be paid or who is responsible?? moreResolved Question: Queen Michelle “Marie Antoinette” Obama takes her eighth lavish summer break at the taxpayer’s expense.?
Michelle Obama’s lavish break in Spain with 40 friends, could cost U.S. taxpayers a staggering $79,363.93 a day for a five day total of $396,819.66 +, not including meals. Dinners cost about $63.86 per person or a whopping bill topping $2 554.40 for all 40 friends. That’s $12 772 or more for five days of dinners alone. We (the people) will also be paying the bill for the First Lady's 68-strong security detail, and her personal staff. The per diems for the secret service team runs at around $274.60 each, which amounts to nearly $95,790 for the length of the summer break. The unknown number of Queen Michelle “Marie Antoinette” Obama's personal staff and attendants, may cost considerably more per day, and must also be taken into account. The C-32A (757) designated as Air Force 2 used to fly the First Lady to Spain operates at a Department of Defense reimbursement rate of $11,351 per hour. 6.5 hour flight to Spain would run $73,781.50 - Or $ 14,7563.00 for the round trip. Eight vacations in eighteen months, that is a vacation about every two months. Don’t you think these boorish, insensitive acts smack of hypocrisy and show a definite disconnect between the country and our first black royalty? When has a president and family taken so many vacations at taxpayer's expense? Bush vacationed, but not during financial freefall and most of his vacations were working vacations at his home in Texas. Many if not most Presidents with homes did in fact spend much time at their homes Theodore Roosevelt in New York, Franklin D. Roosevelt also New York and Georgia, Harry S. Truman in Missouri, Dwight D. Eisenhower home in Abilene, Kansas just to name a few. Maybe they want to cash in while they can, realizing it will all be over in 2012 and. I applied to UTSA (University of texas at san antonio) for the spring semester. Does this mean I have to go to school THROUGHOUT the summer or do I still get to go on summer break like everybody else? moreVoting Question: Should I Go or Not???
Well overall this summer i havent really done much. Aside from going on a class trip with my school for two weeks, I've basically been at home doing nothing except for college apps and stuff. The little friends i have haven't been able to hang the entire summer because of the vacations or camps that their on. Yesterday my second cousin from texas came to visit his parents because one of them was having surgery. When my parents went to go visit him last night and talking about us (me and my brothers and sisters), they were telling him how I haven't really gone out much ever since i came back from the trip. When they got home they told me that he invited me to spend the weekend with him in NYC (Coney island, a Yankee game, statue of liberty, etc). I'm not really sure if I want to go considering hes not really my age (i'm 17 and hes in his 30's), and I feel that we wont have much in common. Also, I don't want it to seem like hes just inviting me out of pity because of what my parents told him. I'm really confused on whether or not I should go. What do you think?? moreVoting Question: Should I go, or not?

i have been on vacation in florida for a month and every other day i would go to the market that this guy works at. (hes around my age or at least looks it. so abour 16 to 18) im 16. and anyways i think hes real cute but i never wanted to strike conversation with him becuase i knew if i made a friend here that it wouldnt matter becuase i would go to my home back in texas after this vacatino month in florida ended. anyways even if i was less shy and stuff its still hard to talk to him becuase..well how to you talk to a guy who works the cash register all day. its a small family owned market and so tomorrow is my VERY LAST day here until next year (i come to this same place every year and stay in this same area of florida with my family) so anyways i was going to go buy something then while he is ringing up my item i bought just lift my hand and leave a little piece of paper with my cell number on it then take my (whatever i bought) and walk out the door of the market for the very last time. until next summer. which he might not work there in a year anyways. does this sound like an awful idea or a good one. like i dont wanna go back home and just wonder what itd be like if i had done this but at the same time its so bold of me to do. like im a shy girl. **and we have talked once but i doubt he remembers. it wasl ike a week and a half ago and i asked him if it always rained so hard in florida. it didnt last long and sometimes i notice he looks at me alot. or at least when i went in there with my mom one time i was like "hey did you see that guy in there?" and she replyed with "what the one that worked there and kept staring at you?" i felt kinda good cause i didnt realize he was staring. djfhldsj im so nervous tomorrow is my LAST DAY. um and if a guy is answering this tell me if this would be weird or freaky. and no im not ugly..i think im average or whatever so heres my picture. ould you blow me off if i left my number folded up on your register http://s705.photobucket.com/albums/ww53/buggaboo2yoo/?action=view¤t=180822.jpg&newest=1oh yeah and there are alot of pretty girls that i personally think are prettyier than me that go in there and he looks at them too... moreResolved Question: my x has never paid child support. When i tried to talk to him and ask for help he threatened to sue?
My x husband and i divorced 6 years ago, we had 2 children together. He got into drugs and became violent so i had to leave. We agreed on child support for the 2 girls at 25% of his net income and he would pay for their health insurance. I have 100% physical custody. He has never once paid child support; and he backed out about half of his weekends when we lived in California. he did add the girls to his insurance last year and he paid for a season of soccer. I have since remarried (3 years ago) and had a son. We had to move out of California because of the crashing economy and increasingly high rent. My x signed a visitation modification and only wanted the girls for 4 weeks in the summer. He never calls them, didnt send them christmas presents, didnt even call my oldest daughter on her birthday. He does pay for them to fly from Texas to California every year. My husband now is an amazing man. He loves my girls like his own children. We have paid for everything. We have never had a vacation,or even a weekend together. We have never even been able to afford a family vacation. Our finances have been hard especially on my husband because he went from a single man to an instant Dad to two girls over night, and we had a son about a year later. This year i had enough. He drove out to get the girls for the summer, He drove up in a new car and apparently he got married (they walked in with huge rings) and never told the girls. He supports his wife who doesn't work and her parents are moving in with them and they are all buying a 5 bedroom house in California together. I guess im playing the "its not fair card", I just want him to help out with the kids. With his income of 55K a year according to every child support calculator i have tried it states that even with the travel expenses every year that he would owe about $800 a month. He told me that he could afford $450 and he wants extra time with the kids and i have to wave all back child support and if i dont do what he asks, he will sue me for full custody and make me pay child support. What do i do? We dont have money for a lawyer and im not willing to give him extra time when he has never paid a single child support payment. I have told him in the past he can fly out and see the girls any time he wants or he can fly them out for any school break. I want them to have a good relationship with him. I pay for their own phone so he can call them anytime he wants (he calls maybe once every 2-3 months....he hardly even returns their calls when they try and reach out to them. Why does he only now ant extra time when i ask him to help with the kids? My girls are very happy and involved with the community. They play sports, have tons of friends and are doing excellent in school. They dont even enjoy spending time with him. Its not even a safe environment. He sells drugs (i cant prove it, but he has told me many times that he grows and sells weed...actually he tried to sell me some the last time he drove out he had a softball sized amount in the back of his truck....i tried to call the cops but for some reason CHP and the local police dont talk; and i dont want my girls to be there when he gets arrested). Should i just let him pay $450 a month? I dont want him to be destitute, i dont want him to be screwed financially...but i do want help with the kids expenses.sorry long story..needed to vent after getting off the phone with my x moreResolved Question: How to make friends as the new girl in town?
My family moved to a new town in Texas, all the way from New Jersey. Even though I've been here since March I still feel like the new girl. I'm 16 btw. So far its summer vacation and I've only hung out with a girl from school once. The rest of my summer I've pretty much spent at home on the computer, at volleyball practice, or visiting relatives. I don't want my entire summer to be a waste.. how do I make friends with people? Should I always be the one inviting them for things? One of my regrets for the summer is I tried inviting a group of people to a concert and I said my mom could pay for it so they should give me the money, and she would only buy tickets once she got the money from everyone. But they gave me the money too late and the show sold out. I hope they still aren't mad for me for that.. but it wasn't my fault cause I kept reminding them about it. Next time everyone's gonna have to buy their own tickets themselves. But I dont know if because of that those girls don't want to hang out with me anymore, cause they really did want to go to the concert but I gave them over a week to give the money and they gave me the night before the show. I dont know what to do now.. I cant just keep inviting them for concerts and thats the only time I see them. But those people I invited were nice and I hung out with them during school.. you think they are still holding the concert thing against me? And.. I guess Im pretty socially inept.. I was pretty bad with this sort of thing in my old town too. I live in a big neighborhood and I know a couple girls from school who live here. Should I just ring their doorbell and be like "hey, wanna hang out?" but what do we do.. just walk around the neighborhood? Its sad but in my life I have little "friend experience" like that.. I don't know why cause I think Im a cool person I guess but people didn't really invite me for things so I didnt have the confidence to invite them either.. I feel like I dont know what to do. I cant invite people to my house cause there's nothing to do but watch tv or go on the computer.. we still need to buy a lot of stuff for our new house cause its bigger than my old one. So should I just randomly invite people I think are nice to movies and the mall and etc? Ive never even been to the mall with friends before. Do you just walk around and just look at clothes? Sorry if this sounds pathetic.. ugh. Im a very social person so I dont even know how Im in this situation. Im going to be on the school's volleyball team too and over the summer we have practices but I feel awkward around them because they all know each other cause its a small school, and I just moved from a big school so Im not really used to that. Like they have their conversations and I dont want to intrude, also cause I don't really know what they're talking about. And then I hope they don't think Im shy cause I dont talk alot cause of it. Their parents are really nice and in my old school the volleyball parents were just to themselves.. I guess its just the Southern hospitality thing? But it makes me awkward that the parents are so nice and welcoming like that. Ugh what can I do to make friends in this place? How do I set up hanging out with people? Like do I just text them and say "hey wanna hang out?" then what next? I want this summer to actually be fun cause most summers I've just been in my house but NOT THIS ONE. I still have a little more than a month. Help me please!! moreResolved Question: Why does my acne completely disappear when I'm on vacation?
Okay so I live in Texas and every summer I go to Colorado for two weeks. I have mild to severe acne, but when I go on vacation a few days later my acne has vanished. A few days after I arrive back in Texas my acne is back with vengeance. I'm wondering if it's because of my stress or just the climate. When I am in Colorado I do go swimming (chlorine) and I also go to a natural sulfur spring. I know that sometimes that can help skin. I just really want to figure out what causes my acne to come back. moreResolved Question: I'll be a senior this upcoming school year (2010-2011). I graduate in 2011.?
I have finished my junior year and I am enjoying what is left of my summer vacation. A couple of months ago (April 30) I moved out of state from Oklahoma to Texas. I have lived in Oklahoma most of my life (I think since I was 3 or 4). I did not get to say goodbye to anyone except one of my best friends who came over that last night. I had really good and close friends back in Broken Arrow, but now I live in Waxahachie, Texas. I know God wants me here for a reason.:) I only have recently made about 1-2 'friends' here. I feel like I am going to miss out on a whole bunch of stuff my senior year since I will not be graduating with the people that I have gone to school and have known since elementary school and middle school. :/ I am really homesick. I kind of don't plan on walking (graduating) with this new class here in Waxahachie, but I don't know. I miss everybody back in oklahoma, soooo bad. Any advice? Any tips? moreResolved Question: Is my girlfriend in doubt?
My gf and I have been going out for about 2.5 years. We have had ups and downs in our relationship (like all relationship). At around May time frame, we were really good. At the end of May I got an internship with a company that was close to 2000 miles away for the summer. I was so excited for this internship as it has been a dream of mine to work for this company. She said she wanted to go, and I was fine either way of her staying here in Texas or coming with me. So we drove the whole trip and arrived at our destination. We had to leave the dogs back at home with her parents (we didn't want them to suffer without a yard). The apartment was little and quite bare but we knew it was just going to be til August. I viewed this experience as a huge vacation from college for both of us. Well lately things have gotten bad. About 1 month from when we got here she has been very distant from me (emotionally). She says that she doesn't like it up here in this state and that she wants to go home. She complains about seeing me everyday. We haven't been intimate for at least 2 months. Every time we do get intimate she starts having anxiety attacks and says she can't do it (which I don't want to force her to do anything at all)...so we just go to sleep. She said she was going to get a job up here to help me pay for the rent, but it seems like she hasn't been applying at all. She does have a jewlery shop online so that helps with the rent. Recently she's been contemplating and saying that she's not sure about us and that she just needs to go home to think things over. She wants to be a teacher when she's finished with college but she only wants to teach back home...not up here. I'm thinking it's the environment that we're in and how it is different from back home. Personally, I really don't care about location but she does. She has been going to counseling to help out her thoughts but she has really been in doubt about the future, her career and us. I was planning on getting a plane ticket for her to go back home for a couple of weeks in the next couple of days, is this a good idea? What can I do to help her? What if I get a full time with this company.... I don't want her to be forced to live up here with me....should I find another office location? What could we both do? I really don't want us to end.... moreResolved Question: please help, decisions are hard for me?

Hi I have to blame our schools for not teaching us Americans about foreign country's cultures, religion, politics, wars, & it's history. I have to ask this question because I want answers from Caucasian-Americans. I work at a family restaurant as a server for 5 yrs now & I had 2 guest from my table who where from North Carolina ask me if I speak "Mexican", & I said I'm Hispanic & we speak Spanish. So then I have to explain & educate them that any country's who where conquer from Spain, are Spanish nations & that's why Hispanics or Latinos speak Spanish. Just like Brazilians speak Portuguese because Brazil was a Portuguese nation & was conquer. Now that I recall, I remember that this employee from Texas who was going to Spain for summer vacation, she ask me "Adam what language those Spain speaks? I said to her "Jessica, why is Spain is called Spain? Why England is called England? I do not mean to be rude but come on dude the people who lives in Spain speaks Spanish & the people who lives in the island called England they speak English". I even have to go to YouTube & many people around the world thinks that Americans are naive & ignorance. I have to give credit to President Obama that we Americans need to speak a 2nd language & study other cultures. Even if I don't like him, but I think he is right about this. What is your view & opinion? Take care!Konata Mystery, You miss understand & it is NOT my attention to insult NO one. Their is no reason to get upset. To City of the blind, Oh man, the people from Spain ARE NOT Hispanics or Latinos. If you ask a question to a Spaniard guy if he speaks Mexican, then he will think your naive & uneducated.P.S. I'm not British, but I speak English. I'm a Spaniard but, I speak Spanish. I'm not German but, I'm learning. I thanks to my parents for teaching me Spanish & little German. I get paid more then other employees because I could speak German & Spanish. moreResolved Question: How to lose weight Age 13?

Ive been to Mexico for vacation about 7 summers to visit my aunt, uncles, grandparents, cousins, family. Earlier this year we talked about taking a vacation to the Gulf with our three kids this summer. That was before the oil spill. When I first heard about it I sort of tossed those plans aside...but now I'm rethinking that. An article I read made me think about how we could support the people on the gulf who are most affected by this by going anyways...and spending our vacation dollars there. And I thought while we were there we might spend some of our time helping with the clean-up. So, I'm wanting some suggestions. If you make suggestions on ANY of these it would be appreciated. Keep in mind that we have three small boys (ages 2-7) and would be going down in July or August. 1. Are there kids friendly things we can do to help? (OK, the two year old will probably not be involved...but for the 5 and 7 year old). 2. Since we're not going for a few months, we'll have to check then to see how the beaches have been affected. So, what activities, apart from beach activities, would be fun to take part in? We'll probably be going somewhere in Texas, but haven't picked a place (Mustang Island was one idea we had before the spill). moreResolved Question: A Gulf Vacation - In Light Of Oil Spill?

I am going to fail algebra 1 and I want to take it online to get the credit, can I do this in Texas? I've heard my school district has a free online program you can recover credits on but I can't find any information on it online or on the isd's website. Why is that? People also say it is easier just to retake the class the next semester or in summer school. I was interested in online because I can do it on my own time and also because my family travels a lot, and this way I can take it with me wherever and I don't have to worry about being back home for school during vacation. I am very responsible and dedicated just bad at math. But I was wondering why people say it is easier just to go to summer school? Online seems like a much better option for me... moreResolved Question: Quiet vacation out West?
Next summer, I was thinking of loading up the car and heading out West, probably to Texas and Arizona. I'll be done with college, and I'll have roughly 3 months to go wherever I choose. But, I don't want to go out West to stay in 5 star hotels and eat out at fancy restaurants, I want the quiet, Old West experience without a bunch of actors. And I'd love to avoid lots of time on the bust Interstate and more time on scenic highways. I guess this will be my transition period, from college, to the real world, and I'd like for it to be something amazing. So, can anyone point me in the direction I'm looking for? I don't really want to have to contact any kind of travel agent, but I will if necessary. So, I would prefer: - scenic highways. I don't mind the extra time it will take. - quiet places to stay. I don't want some busy resort, more ranch style.Old West feel. - preferably in the Texas, Arizona area, but I'm open to suggestions. Thank you. moreResolved Question: Can anyone help me with translating spanish?
I'm writing a story about what I'm doing this summer in spanish for my spanish class and i wanted to know if this is translated correctly. We want to take a family vacation this summer but don't have a lot of $$. 2 kids under age 4 and we live in Dallas. Any vacation ideas for around $1,000? The Texas coast would probably be a given if it weren't for the oil spill. Thanks! moreResolved Question: Spending money... again?

I've been to WDW many times. This summer I will be with my parents (in their early 60's and in good health) and my kids (13 and 8 years old). The first time I took my son (he was about 2 1/2 years) it was the middle of July. I have great memories, and only remember the heat being a little much. (I'm from Texas, though, so it's not big deal.) We've planned a vacation for July 5-9, 2010, and I plan to take advantage of the extra magic hours as much as possible. I guess I'm just wondering if anyone has been to WDW in the middle of summer in the last few years and totally regretted it. moreResolved Question: Need your opinion, which is better for a vacation!? =)?
Ok, so my sisters and I are planning on taking a trip this summer. The three of us haven't spent much time together this year. So a little about us i don't know but maybe this will help you decide. * I'm 19, my big sister is 21, and my little sister is 18. * We like to dance A LOT. * We're hispanic. * We don't want a field trip sorta education trip, so like for example we don't want to go to San Antonio just because the Alamo's interesting... * We want to go somewhere really fun, somewhere where we can try new and exciting stuff, somewhere that will be an unforgettable experience. * Also we're planning to go in July, like leave on the 2nd (Friday), and be back on the 4th(Sunday) or the 5th (Monday)... Thanks for taking the time to answer we're stuck between two San Antonio and Corpus Chrisit, but any other place you think might be interesting in Texas go ahead and list it and put why!! THANKS SO MUCH!!! =)Also could yall explain why yall think we should go there, and what we could so we can compare both options...because just telling us one doesnt really help without an explanation, just a short sentence or somethin lol!! Every summer my boyfriend and his family take a trip to Michigan to visit their vacation house by the lake for 10 days. he asked me to come with them but i know my mother will have a problem with it. they will probably be driving and it takes two days to get there so they would be staying in hotel rooms. my mom will definately have a problem with that!! i could promise her that we wouldn't "do anything" but she probably wouldn't believe me. i haven't mensioned it to her yet because i wanted to see if there were ways to sway her to my side. i know this would be unheard of in the realm of teen dating but i really want to go!! it's either i go with him or i stay behind and wonder what it could have been like and miss him. so my question is pretty much, what techniques or things should i say and use to get her to say yes to this trip. (P.S. i live in Texas, so it's a long ways from Michigan!!) moreResolved Question: Family Outdoor Activity Vacation in Texas or Oklahoma?
Hi, We are looking for a summer vacation "camp" or "resort" that offers outdoor activities such as hiking, tennis, swimming, volley ball, etc. for our entire family (2 adults and 2 8-year old boys) in Texas or Oklahoma. I have checked out Dude Ranches ... but they are not quite what we want. Any suggestion will be appreciated. Thanks. moreResolved Question: Which beach in Galveston, Texas should I vacation at?
My husband and I are wanting to go to Galveston at some point this summer; I went there years ago and I remember that we went to one of the beaches that was just awful--dirty, trashy, kind of thing. Then I remember someone saying the other one was better. Only problem - can't remember which one is good and which is bad. Help? We're looking for a nice, clean beach with lots of sand, not rocks. We're not huge party people and we don't drink at all, so that's not our style. Can anyone tell me which beach to go to in Galveston then with that "criteria"? Thank you so much in advance! moreTop Summer Vacations In Texas Links
