I'm posting this again ..did not get much responce hopefully more today :) I'm a single mom 4 with one teen daughter, now 17. We are very close, her dad is not in the picture at all. I'm dating a wonderfull guy almost 10years younger for the last two years all is very good. Last summer we went on vacation on a lake in British Columbia. One of the beaches (accessed by boat only) is a nude beach/camp ground. I didnt know we're going to a nude beach last year, but needless to say we were all sunbathing and swimming in our birthday suits, me my daughter and BF. It bothered me a in the beginning, her being nude around my BF, but not at all by the end of the trip. We just got back from another week long vacation at the same place with AWSOME weather! We all went again and my daughter brought her girl friend (With her mothers permission). We opted to stay right on the campsite and we all had a really good time. It was wild, exciting and definatly good for the tanlines! I really enjoy it and we're planning to back in three weeks I just want to know if anyone has had BAD family/relationship expereinces from going to a nude beach? Thanks more

I think this book is child-teen fiction. It's about these kids on summer vacation that explore a nearby marsh/swamp full of old, abandoned summer houses. They also meet an elderly couple (brother and sister) that still live there. In the end, they end up having lots of adventures, etc. I know this sounds weird but I really want to find this book. When life gives you lemons… make lemonade. That’s what my dad always tells me when I’m stuck in a crappy situation. But to be honest, I don’t think that advice will work this one out. It feels as if I’ve been given rotten lemons, with no juice left in them, and there is just no point in making lemonade anymore. Only hours ago, I was packing for my summer vacation to France. Yes, France! You know, that country in Europe with the fashion capital of the world, and some of the most beautiful architecture ever created? Well anyways, I was happily packing away, minding my own business, when my dad knocks on my door. I was surprised by this because, to be honest, my dad and I never talk. He’s always busy on his laptop in his office, or he’s at work. It’s always one or the other. “Come in.” I said, wondering what in the world was it that he wanted to tell me. As soon as I saw the expression on his face, I knew it couldn’t be good. My dad always has one look on his face - plain, and bored. But at that moment, it was devastated. I wondered what on earth could have happened for my father to have been so sad. Millions of thoughts ran through my mind as I thought of all the possibilities. Did the fancy hotel that we were staying at in Paris burn down? Did our flight get cancelled? Turns out it was neither of those. It was much, much worse. “We’re not going to France, Anna.” he said with the most stern look I had ever seen. “What? W-w-why?” I asked, sadness sweeping over me. “I got a call from my brother last night. She asked us to visit our homeland for the summer because my grandmother is very ill, this might be our last chance to see her. We‘re going to the Ukraine tomorrow.” My great aunt? Our homeland? Resolved Question: Can't eat or sleep, I am so stressed about this...?

At the beginning of the summer, I met this guy, Andrew. I was immediately attracted to him, and told my friend, Jenny. Right after I met Andrew, he went on a vacation and did not return until about a week and a half ago. Since I had just met Andrew, I did not have any contact with him while he was gone. When he returned, we completely hit it off, and were on what I believed was the part to a relationship. For the past week and a half, we have both been spending nearly all day with a great group of teens, including my friend Jenny. Yesterday, I had to leave early. Jenny, Andrew, and another guy friend of ours stayed (We were hanging out at a pool). I returned later that night to find that the three of them, plus one guy friend of ours that came later, had gone out to pick up pizza. I hung around at the pool for about twenty minutes until they returned, only to find that Jenny had been walking around with these guys in only her bikini and a t-shirt, and she then proceeded to flirt with Andrew, in front of me. She also thought she left her phone in his car, in which they had picked up the pizza. Therefore, Jenny and Andrew went back to his car to look for it. They spent about ten minutes looking for the phone alone together, while in the meantime I was with the two other guys who were joking about how Jenny and Andrew were probably kissing rather than finding said keys. Later that night, when we were alone, I asked Jenny about she and Andrew. She said that she didn't even think he liked her, and while she thought he was cute, she valued our friendship more than a relationship with Andrew. She also said that she would ask Andrew if there was any girl in the group that he liked. I thought this might be a bad idea, because what if he answered "Jenny," but she said that if she liked Andrew, she would not be asking him the question. Nonetheless, I am extremely stressed out about this situation. I've only been close with Jenny for the summer, and during this time she has been very flirtatious with many of our guy friends; I'm really not sure if I can trust her. Also, Jenny and Andrew will be participating in an event together today(it would take too long to explain what) and while Andrew's event is not until later, Jenny said early yesterday that she would wait to watch him. Can I really trust Jenny to not pursue Andrew? My stomach is in knots. Also, whatever may happen, school starts in an month, and we will all be going back to our respective schools, and presumably will not see each other until next summer. How many more days until school begins? Are you happy? I haven't gone outside all summer..But I did beat two video games I had been wanting to beat for some time now. I'm the teen of the family and I'm trying to see how we could take a trip to europe in the summer of 2011 and stay under 5,000 for 2-3 weeks. Is it possible? Although we would like to avoid it, we have spent 8,000 on vacation before so if we go a little over the earlier number then that should be okay. But 5,000 dollars is prefered. If you could give me some tips on how to do this and countries that would be easy to do this, that would be amazing. I've been applying everywhere to get a part-time job and i finally got an interview. I had the job until he asked about my vacation. [485.07x5m= $2425.53] That's only five months working student minimum wage for 5 months every weekend that's not including full-time during the summer but let's include that shall we? $9.60p/hx8hours --------------------- $76.80p/dx5days --------------------- $384.00p/wx4weeks ----------------------------- $1536.00 per month. 21.05% of salary [tax} = $323.33 so $1536.00-323.33=$1212.67 Summer vacation is 2 months so $1212.67x2 ----------------- $2425.34 so 2425.34+2425.53= $4850.87 That's enough for the baby and them both I could understand if you lived off babysitting. Voting Question: How a teen can lose 20-30 pounds in a little less than 6 weeks?

I came up with this goal when summer vacation first started but before I knew it it's halfway over. I'm only 5'5 and I'm about 155 pounds give or take. I looked it up and that isn't a healthy weight for me. I don't want to be unhealthy or obnoxiously skinny, I just want to loose the chub chub and get some really cute clothes this year for once. It's my last first day of school and I want to turn heads. I have access to a gym so that isn't a problem. I hate diets, so I guess portion control is my option for that. I need some exercise tips, etc. Specifically, for my stomach and legs. Any cardio, strength training, anything really I'm open to I just need some suggestions so I don't get bored and lose interest. Any help is appreciated=)I heard that P90X is a great system but I just don't have the money for it. FYI: 155 pounds isn't like obese or anything but it is chunky to the person who said anorexia or bulimia...shut your face. more

i go on vacation every summer with my family of 30, and every year we seem to celebrate a birthday, anniversary, or anything else. So this year my aunts turning 40, and we have 2 weeks to come up with a song, and were not exactily sure what songs to use, the songs we use have to be well known and easy to sing to for the most part. 3 years ago my other aunt turned 40 and the song we did was... My fiance is on the way for his business trip to Europe and he wants me to join him after his business to spend sometime together. As recognizing such a work to be a single mother for a long time, he wanted to give me a vacation as a treat. He even offered to my son to come with me but he rather wants to stay for working to save some money this summer to buy his car and hang around with his friends. I sent my itinerary to my mother who has my young adult daughter for this summer in Japan. Both of them are very upset with this idea. They believe that something bad things would happen and said worried about him. Now I feel verfy guilty to leave him alone and tried to find the way but can't. They think how dare I could make such a plan to leave a teen alone for a week as a parent. What about meals, he may have a party at home, if something happened, what I am going to do....etc. I had discussed with my son many things and he promised me that he wouldn't have a party, in fact, he thinks it will be a too much trouble to have a party at our place. Secondly, he said I should go and enjoy my trip since I haven't had such a chance and he promised me that he will be very responsible. Now, my mother said that whenever she says "No" something bad thing would happen so I should cancel my trip or send my son to their place, (which he doesn't want to) or ask one of his friend's parents to look after him. Third option is still difficult since everybody is on vacation and my son is old to do his things and doesn't want that idea neither.... My trip is only 3 days away..do you have any good advice or share with me your experience please. (I have been living in North America for a long time..) I don't have any relatives here but I will ask my neighbor to monitor my house and girls downstairs who are my tenants and I will give them my contact for the emergency. I'm 19, my brother is 17, and our parents filed for divorce in November. My mom's been seeing a guy for about 2 months, who my brother and I have met but we aren't quite ready to have him fully in our lives. Well I'm 14. I have quite a few friends, but honestly, don't like many of them so it's hard to hang with them all the time. We all pretty much just have our issues, I feel like I don't have any normal, happy, fun friends. I don't know where to meet these kind of people either... I don't have any specific "hobby".
