Open Question: Strange Girl Situation?

Just like 80% of Yahoo Answers users, I have a frustrating and incomprehensible Girl Problem On my way into this relationship, I was solid: I acted positive, confident, intelligent towards this girl who's a big nerd. Unfortunately, things didn't go perfectly, although they went very well. She was always coming over to my apartment, and I wasn't even being a 'player', I just wasn't at all needy to visit her apartment, and the power in the relationship was clearly mine. Then, we both moved apart. I knew that distance doesn't work, so I decided to break up with her, but leave things on good terms. We went on a vacation, and she was insecure as hell the whole time, that I "would certainly find some girl in the next week". She did, however, get me to make a pact with her that we would tell the other if we did anything with someone else. (Please let me know if this is reasonable, because at the time I thought it was!) I began to search for women in my new temporary summer residence. I lined up a date with one, and called the girl to let her know. She went terribly upset, thinking she was with still 'with' me, and such. I didn't go on the date, and I scheduled another vacation with this girl. After this, I was ready to move on again, and called to break up with her. We were a country apart, and I know that relationships are based on face-to-face interaction, and spending time with a person. She was hysterical, and at some point I went to visit her in her new home. Now I'm visiting her a second time, and I will transition from the facts to the feelings, telling the same story from a more emotional perspective. Early on, I didn't think she would amount to much, and I have a pretty dismal attitude toward most women and most men. I believe in some awesome friends, and I think an amazing woman may be out there somewhere, but I've never been very satisfied with women in the past, and this girl didn't seem like she would be all that different. However, she was really intelligent and we got along more or less. Her issues were getting over a boy who cheated on her, and then a boy who she left, though she felt they were both in love. This recent ex moved on quickly to another woman, and she remains jealous to this day. I fit her "type" and excelled her past boys in looks. She claims to have been pressuring me for sex in the beginning, initiating things, and I remember just having sex with her, but it didn't last very long and I never regarded her as an equal because of the lack of long-lasting, intimate sex. She feels in hindsight that the relationship was very good at that point, but I remember feeling awfully lonely at night when she'd be snoring next to me, and I'm dreaming of noone specific, but a woman that would stay awake having sex and talking for hours. She was depressed, and I narcissistically pictured myself as her hero, bringing her back from spiting boys forever, which is somewhat how she viewed me then. However, I lost my job and traveled the whole year, and generally acted in a way that left her thinking of me as an unfocused child. There's some truth to that, as I'm young and really had/have no certainty in what I want from life yet, I'm seeking adventure. As the relationship wore on, she frequently smiles and says I'm "so cuuuute", but it's somehow in an unsexual manner. However, she also feels very jealous and doesn't want me moving on to another woman. I feel the same way toward her moving on with another man, although I'm not quite satisfied. I think we both could be not satisfied BECAUSE the other is not in love with us, and that's the only thing missing? Or maybe we lack 'chemistry'. Whatever it is, I can't fully explain it from the frame of 'player' mindsets like Askmen.com which I've read. I can say that in some way, I've lost her interest. I've failed to make her feel romantic and believe in me because I lack this singular, guiding purpose in life. And I also don't give her 'trinkets' because I don't think they will amp up her attraction for me. I feel as though both of us are trapped loving each other and feeling some sexual attraction, but not quite enough, and this failure to satisfy each other, combined with her trust issues from past relationships is poisoning the situation. Intellectually and in almost every other way, we really hit things off. Though we both don't consider marriage a good idea at our young age (haha, half our friends are married, but still, we're in our low-20s), she at one point felt she wanted to marry me. Can some girls out there explain the truth about what's going on in her head? All at once, she's being mutually exclusive to me, wanting to move on, and not wanting me to move on. And now, after me trying to move on, and not really getting traction in any one place or job, and seeing her become much more optimistic, resilient, fit and happy in her new home, I'm feeling toward her the same way she felt and feels about me. I just applied for "Blue from american express" that I plan to use when I travel to Europe this summer for 3 weeks. I was approved within 5 seconds for only $2000. I monitor my credit monthly with a credit service and my 3 credit scores are in the 707-730 ranges, annual Salary >50K, current debt is less than 5% of available, my reported length of credit experience is over 10 years. I don't really talk to anyone about this, because none of my close friends have divorced parents, and talking to my mom about it would make her feel guilty for moving so far away from my dad. If you want to read on, here's my story: I used to live in (i don't want to say the name of the state). My parents split up when I was 3, and my dad re-married and had my half-sister. My mom, brother and I lived in a new house for about 2.5 years, until my mom met someone at a party in another state. (a state 6 hours away on a plane ride) And they fell in love. So my mom and dad went to court and the court decided it would be okay for my mom to take me and my brother to this new place, and we would visit our dad on christmas break, summer vacation etc. 11 years have passed, and now I'm 16. Still living in the same place. The last time I saw my dad was in October for halloween and homecoming.The last time I saw my sister was THIS SUMMER. She is 8 now. Tonight I found out that I might not see him until June. I'm so incredibley sad. I can't just go 8 months without seeing my dad. That will be the longest time yet. PLEASE READ THIS EVEN IF IT MAY SEEM LONG ITS REALLY NOT IT WILL ONLY TAKE ABOUT ONE MINUTE OF YOUR TIME! Okay, so I am 14-years-young and I am 5 foot 7 1/2 inches and I weigh 170 pounds. I know I am so over weight, and I want to go on a diet. I've already read just about everything there is about not eating and how it could cause irreversable organ damage and/or death. So I'm asking if there is some sort of diet I could use that works for my body type, I want to lose 20 pounds or more over this up coming vacation so I can go back to school and people will be amazed. My vacation is 2 weeks long I don't exercise usually the most I'll probably do is go outside and play in the snow (this is probably the reason why I'm over weight) and i want something that would become routine, so i can have a smoking hot body for summer and not be so self conscious and have more confidence, obviously I don't have any because I'm on Yahoo! answers looking for help. P.s i often eat food cause i'm bored so if you could tell me something that could distract my hunger and boredom. I'm a 14 years old straight male teen who's never been in a relationship. I'm kind of shy, not really absolutely popular at school but I do have friends. Ok, I know teenage kids are little bundles of hormones and emotions, but I'm so tired of reading the same stuff on here: "Does he/she like me?" "I think he/she likes me, what should I do?" When I first started on Yahoo! Answers, I thought it was sort of cute, but now it just grates on me because I have to sift through all that stupid puppy love crap to get to anything that even remotely justifies a thoughtful, helpful answer. Let me just state this for all you goofy teens. In the vast majority of cases, any relationship you have while you are in school, especially before high school, isn't going to last for more than a few weeks, or beyond the end of summer vacation. It isn't as serious as you may feel it is in your little teenage heart. You have your whole life ahead of you and worrying about whether so-and-so likes you is childish (ok I know, you are children, but still). I was in severe pain over six years and they didn't keep up with the cleaning and now I'm needing to pay catch up. I did work for an hour everyday since we got back from vacation this summer but hubby would just complain what wasn't done rather than be happy with what I did so I stopped after he continued to complain. I would really like to get the living room clean but not sure how to do it all in one day. It's a LOT to do and telling me to get off the computer won't help if I'm not focused enough in getting it done or completing the job. But you can try to tell me to leave as it may help :-) I'm curious as to what other people do to get what they need done. What is your motivator or thing that drives you to accomplish things instead of being lazy and sitting around? I have a tendency to start on something and never finish it and I would really like to clean the living room so we can put up our tree. It's a big job for me to clean and if I set such high standards I barely get anything done but if I think about doing a smaller task it always ends up with an hour or more of cleaing and it will take a couple of days for me to get things straightenened out as we have loads of stuff that built up after the last time I emptied out a room. My biggest problem is that if I do spend a lot of time cleaning I won't have much motivation to do it the next day. I had no where to put the stuff and our garage is pretty packed too. I have some stuff I can give away since we won't be using it but since our garage is filled I'm not sure where I can store the stuff in the meantime. Thinking my vehicle. Any tips on staying on task and completing the job? I have a big family, hubby works long hours, and the kids are in school all day so I'm on my own. I'd like to surprise them when they get home. Especially when people more than ever could use longer vacations to earn more money after they are done with their studies? Ok so I was on Yahoo and I saw the article obama curtails summer vacation... This caught my attention quickly. He wants to shorten our summer vacation to 3 or 4 weeks and add 3 hours to the school day!! There is no way im letting this happen to me! HE HAS KIDS, DONT THEY DISAGREE WITH HIM? I DO!! I'm in the 9th grade. Today I logged onto Yahoo and on the home page there was a story called "More School: Obama would Curtail Summer Vacation". Let me ask some of you guys out there. How fair is it to take away our free time? We need to have time to ourselves! It said things in the article like how he wanted to add on 3 hours to the schedule, cut back on Summer Break and go to school every other Saturday. How fair is this? I don't think wanting to compete with other countries on school levels is a good enough excuse to take away our free time. Its not fair on the teachers either, they have families that they have to tend to. I feel desperate and pathetic asking this on Yahoo Answers, and usually i don't need girl advice, but this one really has me stumped. Its a long story, so here goes... I am a freshman in college. When I was a freshman in high school i meet this girl that we will call Sarah, became pretty good friends with her, and eventually started to "really like" her. But the entire year, she was always interested in this other guy, and i never felt that she liked me in that way back. Sophmore year I get a gf that we will call Rachel, that i dated all the way up until about a month ago. While Rachel and I dated, Sarah and I still remained as friends. Junior year I hear from a few of Sarah's close friends that she has started to "like" me, but that she is afraid to show it because I have a gf. At the time, even though I still had some feelings for Sarah, I loved Rachel and maintained my relationship with her. (I'm over her now) Senior year, Sarah and i don't talk nearly as much as we used to because 1. We didn't have class together and 2. Rachel found out that Sarah "liked" me and knew that I "liked" her freshman year, and politely asked if I could try not to talk to her. So the other day, I'm walking around on my college campus, and someone taps me on the back. Its Sarah. (we didn't talk all summer and like i said, we talked very little senior year) We talked and caught up some with what little time we had. At the end of the conversation, she told me to text her some time if she wanted to go get something to eat. Now the confusing part is is that she has told me several times that she likes hanging out with guys more than girls. The one time I saw her during summer vacation was at the restaurant I work at and she came in with 3 other guys. So I don't know if she wants to go out to eat just as friends or if she's looking for something more. I mean when she comes in with 3 different guys they're just hanging out i assume, but if its just me and her??? Resolved Question: What are some Eyeliner Styles for Scene...?

I like to put eyeliner the scene way. And i like to make my eyes stand out. But my parents (mostly my dad) are ALWAYS complaining that i put on "too" much. I've been ignoring them for a long time. But they are starting to annoy the crap outta me, especially since i started to wear it less because of summer vacation. (school is starting at the beginning of next month) I don't care what other people think, but i just want my dad to stop complaining about my eyes. To me, i don't put on a whole lot compared to other people who like scene. But my dad just doesn't want to see me wear stuff like that....Dx Sorry i can't post a pic because i think it is the cause of me having trouble posting questions... If you search it up on google images i would put it more a little bit more thinner than the girls in the pic and i don't wing as much... My mom and i don't want to use liquid eyeliner...i find it easier to use pencil, if this helps your answers. I use Revlon Luxurious Color.... You can either explain some tips or how you put your eyeliner. Or post some pics with some styles that is similar to what i want to achieve. Every little thing helps. Voting Question: How to let a guy know that I like him?

Okay, so I went to my grandparents' house for my 2 month summer vacation. Unfortunately I had to join tuition over there. In my tuition, I saw this guy who was really hot. We started talking through a social networking site and then through yahoo. He also kind of dropped hints that he liked me, and even my best friend thought that he liked me. We talked face to face only once, when he got a dare to stare at me. Everytime he passes me, it looks like as if he is embarassed to look at me, even though before we started chatting he used to stare at me all the time. And he is the only guy I actually talked to in tuition, and all his friends teased him whenever I was around. I guess all this makes it really obvious that he likes me, and the weird part is that I like him back too.
