Resolved Question: every thing to know bout Nick Jonas(P.S,Not a question, just for fans who want to know every thing bout him)?

Nicholas Jerry "Nick" Jonas (born September 16, 1992) is an American singer-songwriter, musician and actor best known as one of the Jonas Brothers, a pop-rock band he formed with his brothers Joe and Kevin. The Jonas Brothers originally started as an attempted solo singing career for Nick, but the record producer liked the sound when his brothers sang backup for him. He currently stars in the Disney Channel original series JONAS as Nick Lucas, alongside his brothers. Currently he has formed the band Nick Jonas & The Administration, which released its first album in 2010. Nick Jonas was born in Dallas, Texas,[1] the son of Denise, a former sign language teacher and singer, and Paul Kevin Jonas Sr., a songwriter, musician, and former ordained minister at an Assemblies of God church.[2][3][4] He was raised in Wyckoff, New Jersey and home schooled by his mother. Nick is of Cherokee, Irish (from his maternal grandfather), Italian, and German descent.[5][6] He was diagnosed with Type I diabetes at the age of 13 and wears an OmniPod insulin pump to help him manage his condition.[7] He has developed the Change for the Children Foundation. Partnering with five different charities, their goal is to raise money and awareness for diabetes.[8] He also developed a public service announcement with the Washington Nationals to support diabetes care at Children's National Medical Center in Washington, D.C.[9] Since August 6, 2008, Bayer Diabetes Care has partnered with Jonas as a diabetes ambassador to promote the idea for young people to manage their diabetes.[10] Jonas testified in the U.S. Senate to promote more research funding for the condition.[11] Miley Cyrus has stated that she dated Jonas from June 2006 to December 2007. Cyrus claimed they were "in love" and began dating soon after they first met.[12][13] Acting Broadway and Theatre Jonas's career started when he was discovered at the age of 6 in a barber shop while his mother was getting her hair cut and was referred to a professional show business manager.[14][15][16] At the age of 7, he began performing on Broadway.[17][18] He had acted in several plays, including A Christmas Carol (in 2000 as Tiny Tim and Scrooge at eight), Annie Get Your Gun (in 2001 as Little Jake), Beauty and the Beast (in 2002 as Chip), and Les Misérables (in 2003 as Gavroche).[18][19][20][21] After Les Misérables closed, he performed in The Sound of Music (as Kurt) at the Paper Mill Playhouse.[22] Singing Solo artist In 2002 while performing in Beauty and the Beast, Nick had written a song with his father called "Joy to the World (A Christmas Prayer)." With background vocals from the Beauty and the Beast cast, Nick performed the song on the 2002 annual Broadway "Equity Fights AIDS" album, Broadway's Greatest Gifts: Carols for a Cure, Vol. 4.[28][29] In November 2003, INO Records received a demo copy of "Joy To The World (A Christmas Prayer)."[30] The label released the song to Christian radio, where it quickly became popular on Record & Radio's Christian Adult Contemporary Chart.[29] While Nick was working on his solo project, Joe followed in his footsteps to Broadway, appearing in Baz Lurhmann's production of La Boheme. By September 2004, an executive at Columbia Records found out about Nick's song.[28][29] Nick was soon jointly signed to INO Records and Columbia Records and released the single "Dear God".[31][32] A second single, "Joy to the World (A Christmas Prayer)" (a new solo recording), was released on November 16.[33] It was supposed to be followed by a December release of a self-titled solo album Nicholas Jonas, but the album was pushed back.[34] It did, however, get a limited release.[35] Nick, along with Kevin and Joe, had written several other songs for the album.[28] In early 2005, Columbia Records' new president, Steve Greenberg, listened to Nick's record. While Greenberg did not like the album, he did like Nick's voice.[36] Nick Jonas is currently working on a side project from the Jonas Brothers called "Nick Jonas and the Administration". Their debut album Who I Am was released February 2, 2010. The band members consist of Tommy Barbarella on keyboard, Michael Bland on drums, John Fields on bass, and David Ryan Harris on guitar.[37] Although David Ryan Harris recorded guitar in the studio for Who I Am he was unable to go on tour with the rest of band and was ultimately replaced by Sonny Thompson. In January 2010 Jonas embarked on the Who I Am Tour with the Administration. This was Jonas' first tour without his brothers. The tour consisted of 22 dates that began on January 2, 2010 in Dallas, Texas and concluded on January 30, 2010 in Berkeley, California. Resolved Question: What to you think about artists standing up against Arizona's unconstitutional law SB1070?

The rapper Chuck D flooded the internet with people wanting to download his new track, which by the way is my favorite so far. What do you think? Chuck D Pens New Anti-Arizona Immigration Law Anthem Arizona's new Immigration Law has caused a major stir amongst the American people. Several hip-hop artists have expressed their frustrations about it, but Public Enemy frontman Chuck D has stepped up and recorded a new track called 'Tear Down That Wall' to voice his personal dismay for the law that he believes enforces racial profiling. Ironically, 'Tear Down That Wall' comes almost 20 years later following the release of Public Enemy's 'By the Time I Get to Arizona,' a song the group released in 1991 addressing Arizona officials for failing to recognize the federal holiday honoring civil rights activist Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Chuck D recently spoke to Billboard.com about why he chose to release the new track. "Yeah because the governor is a Hitler. Things do change from time to time but it goes right back into just proving that it wants to be something else. 'Tear Down That Wall' is something that has its own life. It's not that you're doing anything to be opportunistic. I talked about the wall not only just dividing the U.S. and Mexico but the states of California, New Mexico and Texas. But Arizona, it's like, come on. Now they're going to enforce a law that talks about basically racial profiling." 'Tear Down That Wall' will be on Chuck D's upcoming solo CD and is available for download at Slamjamz.com. http://www.theboombox.com/2010/06/22/chuck-d-pens-new-anti-arizona-immigration-law-anthem/ more

Resolved Question: Musical Competition Song Selection?

My friend and I will be attending the Texas State Thespian Convention this November and plan to compete in the Duet Musical competition. Basically, we need a duet song from a musical (NOT anything popular; i.e.-Wicked, Hairspray, Chicago, Cats, Phantom of the Opera, anything Disney) that would be good for a baritone/bass and an alto to sing together. We were thinking something along the lines of Anything You Can Do from "Annie Get Your Gun", Easy Street from "Annie", or Tear Jerk from "I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change". Any help would be MUCH appreciated! more

Resolved Question: How do Muslims explain what happened to Don Piper (more details inside)?

On January 18, 1989, Donald Piper was driving on a bridge on his return home from a Bible conference. Before he cleared the bridge a tractor-trailer driven by an inmate from the Texas Department of Corrections crossed into his lane and collided with his small Ford Escort head on. Paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene. Piper remembers being immediately transported to heaven, where he was reunited with loved ones. He did not, however, meet Jesus Christ there, because he was on the outside of the gates. While there, he says he saw people who had died that were believers. In addition, he asserts that he heard people singing songs that are not known on earth but were in perfect harmony with each other. He could not think bad thoughts nor sad things. The gates of Heaven, he says, have a glossy look, like mother-of-pearl. Within an hour after the accident another Baptist minister, Dick Onerecker, arrived on the scene. Onerecker states he was prompted by God to pray for Piper and did, even getting permission from the authorities to sit in the back of the vehicle with Don's body. After praying for a long time, Onerecker began to sing the hymn "What a Friend We Have in Jesus" and was startled when Piper suddenly began to sing along. Piper began a long, grueling recovery, which he attributes to both modern medicine and a miraculous act of God. He based a ministry upon his near death experience and 90 Minutes in Heaven. more

Yore humble servant Texas Joe Strom Huckabee Junior here wail I am conflicted. Resolved Question: Are there any musicians in South-East Oklahoma looking to form/join a band?

Oversoul was a modern rock group from McAlester, Oklahoma with over five years in the making. The fan base and crowds continued to grow with every venue played. The band consisted of four musicians from the southeastern part of the state. Oversoul had over three albums worth of original material and continued to write daily. The songs inspired as others relate to the struggles and successes of everyday life. Through long hours of dedication to the craft Oversoul had the privilege to open up for great bands such as Hinder, Smile Empty Soul, The Exies, The Texas Hippie Coalition, Faster Pussycat, Bullet Boys, Bang Tango, and others. Oversoul played many local, area, and state venues such as The House of Blues-Dallas, Cain's Ballroom in Tulsa, The Diamond Ballroom in OKC, Oklahoma State Fair, Bricktown Ballroom in OKC, Hard Rock Cafe in Houston, TX. and many many more. Oversoul was on the rise, our music was promising, and shows always ensured a great time. I have been a part of well established & well known rock band, Oversoul. This has been an amazing part of my life. We had many great opportunities & did many great things. Along with great accomplishments, come many bumps in the road. You just have to decide how many bumps in the road to endure until it is time to take an alternate route. I have found that fork in the road and have been able to choose what I think will be the best direction to take. This new road is taking me to bigger and better things. Being the founder, sole writer, guitarist/bg vocalist of Oversoul has given me a great foundation for a new band, in which I will be the front man. I hope this new creation will bring a new breath to all that Oversoul was. I have two members that are sticking with me. If any one is is interested, please contact me at oversoul_guitar@yahoo.com, www.myspace.com/clarkconner, www.clarkconner.com, or call me at (918)470-8386. We are ready to get the show on the road. We have a great time, and we love doing this, but we are very serious about it...So serious inquiries only please. Thank You, Clark Conner more

Okay, this how you do this. Think back to a specific time or era of your life, and think of what your mood was back then. Can you describe it by songs? Resolved Question: Do you agree with this Immigration policies have led nation to essentially 'import a poverty class?

This is in response to The Californian's March 24 editorial, "Immigration reform that helps growers, consumers, economy." I have no argument with the view that there could be intelligent immigration reform that could help growers, consumers and the economy. However, I have yet to see anything that comes close from Congress that could accomplish that worthy goal. When it comes to immigration statistics, the numbers can be, and are, bent to support any position advocated. On this subject, Rep. Lamar Smith of Texas, one of the most influential and powerful congressmen on Capitol Hill, stated, "We've been duped." Let me toss out a statistic that I can only back up from personal experience and the best determination of hundreds of my colleagues in various roles with the former Immigration and Naturalization Service: Eighty-five percent of those granted amnesty under the last legislation meant for special agricultural workers did not qualify for that benefit; many had simply purchased a farm letter. The bona fide applications for asylum are privately considered even less in numbers. In other words, as communicated to me by a humble Armenian immigrant years ago, "We imported a poverty class." The "amnesty" bill was largely written by an INS regional bureaucrat who never met a payroll in his life, nor competed with foreign nationals for your business. Much of today's legislation is written and promoted for private gain by immigration attorneys who stand to make millions from a new amnesty. The old amnesty legislation was sold to Congress and the American people with the emphasis that the federal government would get tough on employers hiring illegal aliens; isn't that the song they are singing today? Illegal immigration a hot topic at the time, but if you were to go to the extensive index of then-President Reagan's diary, you would not be able to find one entry or comment on immigration whatsoever. At that time, the attorney general of the United States, while touring the Los Angeles federal building, leaned over and asked a supervisory detention officer, "Who do you work for, son?" "I work for INS," he answered. The attorney general whispered, "Is that one of mine?" The INS commissioner at that time famously addressed New Yorkers in a speech: "The first thing I'm going to do is take care of the nasty Puerto Rican immigration problem!" Puerto Ricans are U.S. citizens. Eighty-eight thousand U.S. Department of Homeland Security workers and 200,000 DHS contractors simply cannot clean up the mess created from the last amnesty and now, at a time when our social services are strained to the breaking point, the prisons are releasing violent felons early, the job market is tanking, and The Californian's "view" is that the time couldn't be better for another amnesty? Allow me to make the assertion that it is arrogant and jingoistic to assume that all immigrants are here for a "better life" or fled their native countries. Many I talked to can't wait to go home once they earn enough money. If money is the underlying reason for the immigration, isn't it a little shallow of us to assume that money alone is the answer to a better life? If it is about the money, then let's make it fair for all. Let's clear the backlog of immigrants, hundreds of thousands of them who have been waiting for over 10 years to move legally from places all over the world to join up with family, obtain the job that will make their life better and embrace our laws, language and citizenship. Gregory Meinhardt of Bakersfield is a former immigration inspector at LAX; an immigration enforcement agent based in Los Angeles; senior special agent for immigration and customs enforcement at Port of Long Beach; and national program manager at ICE's Office of Investigations, policy unit. His opinions do not reflect U.S. government viewpoints, policy, directives or legal positions. Another View is a critical response to a Californian editorial, column or news story. http://www.bakersfield.com/opinion/community/x2143248567/Immigration-policies-have-led-nation-to-essentially-import-a-poverty-class more

Voting Question: Failure to control speed ticket, after a motorcycle vs car accident. Texas?

Had been riding my motorcycle following an Accord, went around a curve and he flipped on his left blinker, crossed the double-yellow lines then his front 2 wheels left the road, he make an abrupt sharp right turn BACK into the lane now making his car perpendicular with my bike. I t-boned him. Got taken to the hospital after they were done I had a state trooper in my ER room waiting to give me a failure to control speed ticket. I understand it isnt for speeding BUT with the situation as it is listed, is this case worth fighting it and trying to get it dismissed and making the other parties insurance pay for the damage to both vehicles. I feel like I was not at fault and he left the roadway then came back into MY lane of travel cutting me off. Please answer my questions because I still have to go talk with my insurance company to give my sworn statement. I have at no point admitted guilt and continue to sing the same song of him cutting ME off. Let me knowI am military so no charges for my ambulance ride, no charges for the medical anything. No witnesses, ALTHOUGH one popped up after I was in the emergency room when the state trooper told me so. I can assure you that nobody witnessed anything because if they had and didnt show within the first 15 minutes of no passers-by then they are heartless and not credible. I was too busy being in shock to get up, thinking I was going to die. No long term injuries, I just want to prove this ticket wrong and go after him for the insurance because he in my opinion was at fault."Front tires left the road" meaning they left the road and were in his private driveway more

Resolved Question: Does a Psychology Degree + General Secondary Teaching Degree = Secondary Psychology Teacher?

This might seem like a dumb question.. Sorry. I'm curious. o_O Okay, so I want to be a high school psychology teacher when I get out of high school. I am a Senior currently. I've been looking, and the colleges that offer the seconday (high school) psychology education major are entirely too expensive. I was wondering if I could get my psychology major, then get a general teaching degree, so I could put it all together and be a secondary psychology teacher? I live in Lake Charles, Louisiana, so if you could point out some colleges that offer the secondary psychology teaching major I could look into, that would be amazing. I just don't want anything that's more than one state over. Texas is fine, regarding colleges/universities. I'm very artsy. I love music; I'm learning guitar, write my own songs. I love art. I love creativity. I love studying the brain. I love reading. Not so much math. Detail-oriented. I want to make a difference in someone's life. I tend to care a lot about people who I don't even know. Quite picky. Any suggested majors for me? College stresses me out! >:O Oh, and what's the difference between a college and a university?? o_O more

Resolved Question: Puzzle help PLEASE!! I can't get it!!!?

The Clarks were looking forward to Thanksgiving, when their 6 songs, and their son's wives and children, were coming to their Utah home for a holiday celebration organized by their son Ron. Everyone was due to arrive the day before Thanksgiving. Each couple had one, two, or three children. From the following clues, can you match the songs with their wives, determine how many children each couple had, deduce their time of arrival, and figure out where each family lived? 1. One couple crossed no state or national borders in getting to the homecoming 2. The couples arrived the day before Thanksgiving at 8 am, 10 am, noon, 2 pm, 3 pm, and 5 pm. 3. The couples from Germany and Japan have the same number of children. 4. George has only one child, a boy; Eileen has only two girls; and Carol has only one girl. 5. The son from Texas arrived at 10 am. 6. Pat, who hails from Wyoming, has three children and did not arrive either first or last. 7. Frank flew in from Germany and arrived after noon, two hours after his brother from Japan. 8. Bert and Bob don't have the same number of children. The son from Texas has one less child that the son from Wyoming. The son from Arizona has one more child than Frank. 9.Wendy arrived after Jill, who arrived after Linda. But Linda arrived before Eileen, who arrived before noon. 10. Keith drove all night and arrived before 10 am with his three hungry children. 11. Bert packed his wife and two children into the car that morning and arrived three hours after Frank. Any help would be awesome THANK YOU!!!Thanks so much!!! more

Resolved Question: PLOT AND STORY SAMPLE rate 10 points?

N A man plays his guitar in a dusty diner, could be Mexico, Texas or anywhere in the Deep South of the dear old USA. Rock spews forth from a jukebox at the back, all Johnny Cash, Elvis Presley and all those other rockers no one remembers but is “Darn toot’n” all the same. He looks over, sees some guy roll in, all black leather, greased hair and no class but ignores them, he is a forgotten relic in his western, shirt, jeans and hat a walking oxymoron as it clashes with his Native American features, he doesn’t notice he just plays. He plays a song from long ago or from the distant future, a song of weddings and funerals, of the good lord shining down and Lucifer blowing his big “ol” cloud of smoke down below. It is a song of balance, of freedom, of fresh starts and new beginnings, it is peace’s song. * * * In a hospital down the way of New York a woman is giving birth, she pants as the baby continues it’s slow and painful journey into the world. Through the pain she hears a machine scream its tinny disapproval at the state of her vitals, all around are doctors reassuring, checking, assisting, but despite all their best efforts she still can feel herself slipping like a toddler lifting a too heavy load, no real grip just floating there ,waiting ,falling. As she falls she remembers the look on her fiancées face as she told him about the pregnancy “all lit up like a kid on Christmas morning” as her Daddy would say, she remembers picking colors, birthing classes and choosing names. She remembers her fiancée getting his conscription letter, him kitting up and marching off in a large parade. She can still recall the hours spent writing letters of love, hope and pride, of preparing packages of cookies, clothes and locks of hair, of replies sent on scraps of paper. A shiver overtakes her as the recalls the day when two men dark of dress and eye appear on her door step, well mannered and groomed with the look one can only get when they are about to impart terrible news. They entered the house like men waking on hallowed ground, fearful to touch, to stir as if his spirit still lingered within. The taste of the sweet tea she had prepared dances on her tongue as the news rushed back into her thoughts,”It was a surprise attack over a known combat zone... Every attempt was made to revive him... Serious head wounds... Died en route to hospital... If there is any thing we can do… We’re sorry for you loss ma’am. She remembers this and then nothing * * * more

She remembers this and then nothing * * * As the man continued to play he began to sing, the lyrics melding with the song. …Can’t remember if I cried when I read about his widowed bride, but something touched me deep inside. The day the music died. more

Resolved Question: 912 Tea Party March on Washington DC, on 9/12 2009?

A friend of mine and I aren't talking anymore since we don't view things the same. Well the way I see it he won't talk to me. I emailed him with a response to a nasty email .. 'would you still have negative things to say had Mccain gotten in office, because it seems no matter what everyone can't all be satisfied at the same time. Changes have to be made for other reasons we may not all know. I am sure every option in Washington is being considered. Obama is just human not a saint that will answer and satisfy every human being. And no matter who had won America was already in debt and on its way more whom ever gotten in office. Changes have to be made because what we've been doing hasn't worked in a long time. He sends me this: A friend of mine went to this and I really wanted to go but couldn't he wrote me about the experience... "What was it like?" Well, Susan and I got up at 4:00AM and drove to the Airport for a 7:25AM flight to DC. Imagine our surprise as we met six people on the shuttle from a satellite parking lot to the airport that were on the same flight as us and for the same reason. Even more astonishment as we met many others at the gate also going for the march. About 90% of the flight was going to the march and 30 more were on standby. Most of them could not get a seat. We arrived at DCA about 8:45AM and made our way to Metro which is the rapid transit system in Washington. We could barely get on the train!! By the second stop of 7 to the Federal Triangle station no more people could board and we were packed in to the rafters. The people of Georgia were the first in line as we registered more participants than any other state. We arrived at 9:20 AM and found our state flag only five minutes before the march began. Georgia had already been pushed 1 1/2 blocks down Pennsylvania Avenue from Freedom Plaza. (Start of March) Florida and Texas were close behind us and all 50 states were represented. As we made our way down Pennsylvania Avenue the dominant chant was "can you hear us now?" A direct question to government representatives. We entered the west central lawn of the Capital which rapidly filled. The north and south side lawns filled just as quickly. We were up close to the front and were being pushed against the fence as the overcrowding began. Capital Police closed the gates and started directing people to the mall area from the reflecting pool about 200 yards from the capital to the Washington Monument about 1 mile away. It took three hours for all participants to march down Pennsylvania Avenue and FILL the mall area. The crowd estimate from ABC News was announced at 1.5 million people!! We spoke with Capital Police who stated it was the largest crowd they had ever seen and estimated the crowd on the lawn(s), mall and sidewalks still attempting to enter the mall at 3 million. 450 buses lined Madison Avenue past the Washington Monument. Hundreds of thousands were already in Washington with tens of thousands more trying to drive in on gridlocked interstates (This was on Saturday!!). Tens of thousands more (including myself) had flown in from all over the country. The METRO system was completely overwhelmed and tens of thousands walked for miles just to get to Freedom Plaza and participate. After the singing of the National Anthem the roar was so loud I felt the reverberation through my body!!! After listening to many great speakers and being entertained with great songs, Susan and I left at 2:30 PM to make our way back through the sea of humanity. Security Guards were stationed at the top of the escalator descending to the loading platform in "All Metro Stations" to prevent injury of people coming down the escalator to an overcrowded loading platform. We arrived at the gate for boarding at 4:52PM for a 5:00PM departure. Remember it is only 7 stops from the Federal Triangle to Regan International. If folks staying in Washington and locals had not pushed us to the front of the line we would not have made our flight!!! (Thanks to all of them) I have many great photos of this event and will send some later. The message has been delivered to Washington that the majority of folks in this country are not just fighting a bad bill, "We Are Fighting Socialism". Later Nathan * Now how do you respond to this so called friend? I am really frustrated with him. more

Voting Question: why does everyone hate on texas?

Okay, I'm Texas born and raised. Grew up around the austin area my whole life. Been to the west in El Paso, the East in Houston, the South in Padre and the North in Amarillo. Every part of it is great. The people are for the most part friendly, until u get into the ghetto parts of town. We have cheap nice houses, you could find a 2,000 square foot house for $130,000 which is more than i can say for any other state i've visited. We've got awesome and authentic mexican food, a great and proud heratige, over 200 western songs written about it, and more things to do than u can imagine. I have moved to Western Maryland about 3 months ago and miss my state sooooooo much. I'm sorry to say it's just not as great as the Great state of Texas. Please, enlighten me why the rest of the country is so jealous and continues to bad mouth us just for being proud of our state/nation. We all aren't ignorant hillbillys u know. Resolved Question: was the song when the levee breaks by a perfecle circle had any meaning to it?

to me i consider the song sad.. because.. a flood began when heavy rains pounded the central basin of the Mississippi in the summer of 1926. By September, the Mississippi's tributaries in Kansas and Iowa were swollen to capacity. On New Year's Day of 1927, the Cumberland River at Nashville topped levees at 56.2 feet (17 m). The Mississippi River broke out of its levee system in 145 places and flooded 27,000 square miles (70,000 km2). The area was inundated up to a depth of 30 feet (10 m). The flood caused over $400 million in damages and killed 246 people in seven states. The flood affected Arkansas, Illinois, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Tennessee, Texas, Oklahoma, and Kansas. Arkansas was hardest hit, with 14% of its territory covered by floodwaters. By May 1927, the Mississippi River below Memphis, Tennessee, reached a width of 60 miles (97 km)... do u guys conside the song by a perfect circle song was some wut touching? more

Resolved Question: Phuck it...yahoo answers VIII?

I won’t pretend to ignore the circumstantial evidence surrounding Michael Jackson. I have struggled with his actions for a very long time. Chris Rock said it best, “Another kid?” I must admit, that’s what I was thinking. Part of me tends to side with the rationalist. That he was a monster that preyed on small children. Part of me tends to side with the judicial system. That he was never convicted of any crime. As far as I know, Michael has never been charged with anything besides the two allegations that we know of. I know of attorney’s that have three DUI’s and still practicing law in the State of Texas. Go figure right? Right or wrong, Michael Jackson has contributed to our society. That I cannot deny. I cannot deny that 24 people acquitted him of any wrongdoing in two trials. And if you don’t have faith in that then the entire jurisprudence system of America should be questioned. "This is a court of law, young man, not a court of justice." Oliver Wendell Holmes, Jr. Jackson's Billie Jean was the first video by a black artist to air on MTV. Jackson received a Presidential Humanitarian Award from Ronald Reagan in 1984 for his support of charities helping people overcome alcohol and drug abuse. Thriller remains the biggest-selling album since records began. An extensive 1997 survey declared Jackson was the Most Famous Person in the World. Michael Jackson has contributed millions of dollars to charities. Yet, he is not without a darker side. Years of child abuse allegations will taint his legacy. Also, “In 2002, Jacko dangled his newborn son Prince from a four-story balcony in the Adlon Hotel in Berlin. One boy was interviewed as saying that Michael believed that if he had happy thoughts, fairies would give him the pixie dust needed to fly. Everyone knows that Jacko used to be black instead of white. He had many cosmetic operations to change his looks and skin color because he resented that he was starting to look like his father.” [RADDman, 06/2009] Michael Jackson deserves the unequivocal right to be mentioned amongst the great entertainer’s in the history of mankind. He has never been convicted of a crime. His wealth of music will live long past we are gone. I understand that some may think the worst of him. I can’t dismiss that his life has been surrounded with mystery and innuendo. However, his life as we know it is no more. What we are left with are the facts. The facts are he has never been convicted of any wrongdoing. The facts are he is the most famous person this world has ever seen. Martin Luther King broke down the legal barriers that minorities faced during that time. Michael Jackson broke down the social barriers that we all faced. Who didn’t wear a single glove back in the day? Michael Jackson literally made it acceptable to be seen in the company of a different race than you. Hate him or love him, you can’t deny that Michael Jackson was the leader of the social revolution. Human Nature is my favorite song. It brings back memories of days gone by. Michael Jackson’s music is colorless, genderless, and ageless. Again, I’m not here to defend or prosecute Michael’s legal issues. I have no idea if Michael did the things that he was accused of. I just know he went through two trials without being convicted of any wrongdoing. With that being said, the man deserves his due respect. His treasure trove of humanity will be with us until the end of time. Five hundred years from now we will be parsing Beethoven and Michael Jacksons music. more
