Shawn Michaels has just signed a new contract with WWE recently for a few years and unless he is going to wrestle with another gimmick or become an announcer he will win against Undertaker in the Streak vs Career match. moreResolved Question: Which Grand Slam do you consider the hardest to win?
To me, it all depends on what the court surface is. I'm mostly a hardcourt player, less of a grass court players, and a terrible clay court player so Roland Garros would be the hardest Grand Slam for me to win. Also, I think the marathon matches are even tougher for people with less endurance because of the clay surface that slows the ball down considerably, therefore producing longer and more frequent rallies. moreVoting Question: How much should I sell this Wii stuff for?

I was thinking $250-300. What do you think? P.S. I'm selling this stuff because I really, really need the money and I'm about to go into the military, so I won't really be able to play with it anyway... moreResolved Question: What do you think of comments made by times magazine?
When Sachin Tendulkar travelled to Pakistan to face one of the finest bowling attacks ever assembled in cricket, Michael Schumacher was yet to race a F1 car, Lance Armstrong had never been to the Tour de France, Diego Maradona was still the captain of a world champion Argentina team, Pete Sampras had never won a Grand Slam. When Tendulkar embarked on a glorious career taming Imran and company, Roger Federer was a name unheard of; Lionel Messi was in his nappies, Usain Bolt was an unknown kid in the Jamaican backwaters. The Berlin Wall was still intact, USSR was one big, big country, Dr Manmohan Singh was yet to "open" the Nehruvian economy. It seems while Time was having his toll on every individual on the face of this planet, he excused one man. Time stands frozen in front of Sachin Tendulkar. We have had champions, we have had legends, but we have never had a Sachin Tendulkar and we never will. moreResolved Question: Corruption: Can you bottom this?
Banner day today for news stories that are a sign of the times. #1. Race is on for the Texas governor election. Republican in trouble because he refuses to answer questions about rising unemployment during his term. Asked about it on live radio, he said, "It's true, we've lost 270,000 jobs but the rate has slowed." But the commentator slams him by pointing out that there were actually 350,000 jobs lost on the private sector, while 80,000 NEW ones were created -- guess where? IN TEXAS GOVERNMENT!!! Not exactly what you'd call your basic anti-big-government scenario. Eerie was the sidelight about the 'Tea Party Independent' candidate who, according to the commentary, lost her points and position when she appeared on the Glenn Beck radio show and was asked about US Government complicity in the events of 9/11. She said, "There's a lot of evidence, but I think it is premature to say it is sure." Guess what. Her viewpoint was TOO MODERATE! Heresy! OFF WITH HER HEAD! Now, you'd think that double-barreled fiasco would for sure be the top hypocrite story of the day. But that would be ignoring Florida -- ALWAYS a mistake when duplicity is the subject. #2: It turns out that there's a Florida legal-eagle guy named Freeman who, after being named business "Man of the Year" in 2005 became, with recent events, the Golden Boy of choice to clean up finance; being appointed as Receiver by the courts when all the bankruptcies, foreclosures and defaults began to pile sky-high. He's the one who steps in to stop the bleeding, taking possession of what is left and liquidates it so that the poor folks who have been scammed and lost their homes or life savings or whatever it is get at least something back after the crooks like Bernie Madoff are caught, or corporations go under leaving nothing but office furniture and shredded paper behind. Well hang onto your hat. Sir Galahad Freeman was indicted today in Miami for like a bazillion counts of larceny, fraud, and grand theft. Turns out he was skimming all along , and took millions of dollars for himself. Actually stealing from the people who had already been stolen from! You have to admire the chutzpah, I guess. Call it "Equity Recycling". #3: Meanwhile, I heard yet another one of those chummy TV advertisements in the new vein from some investment company or other -- all about "We know how it is. We look after you like family in these tough times", and so on. But when the name-hook came at the end, I almost fell out of my chair. No, you'll never guess. AIG. It's the old riddle: Q: Why do people who live next to Niagara Falls have ears that stick out and a flat forehead? A: Because every morning they wake up and say, "What's that noise?" *hands push ears out*, and then "Oh! The FALLS!" *slaps forehead*. moreResolved Question: I'd like to watch Russia Canada quarters Vancouver 2010 live scores in a browser?

My husband and I have this debate. He goes to the gym in the mornings around 7am, I go around 9am, a little later. I wake up though around 6am on these days. I HAVE to eat something as soon as I wake up. Whether a banana, yogurt, or a small bowl of cereal. While I think it's not a good thing to go work out on a very full stomach, having not eaten anything for over 12 hours, I think trying to work out would surely make me dizzy, and not to mention after the gym come home and pig out from being really hungry. My husband says because I eat breakfast before going to the gym (mind you it's not a Denny's grand slam by any means, just something small and light) that I will not loose weight that way. moreResolved Question: POLL::::..........Do you think anyone will ever hit a "Home Run Cycle" in the MLB?

Hi, what do you think about the next match of the Six nations France vs Wales? In France we know for sure we have the best team and we'll win the Grand Slam easily I think! Wales-France 5-40 Italy-Scotland 20-7 Irlande-angleterre 18-21 what do you british people think about these results? Allez les Bleus et Forza Azzurri!!! scotland or england last with the wooden spoon. moreResolved Question: RBS 6 Nations predictions after two rounds?
Everyone has played twice now, so would you stick with your original predictions or would you change them? Personally I predicted these choices before the tournament. Ireland France Wales Scotland England Italy Now I would say France (grand slam) Ireland Scotland or Wales Scotland or Wales England Italy I know england have won all their games so far but I have a feeling they'll lose the rest of their games to come. Scotland were pretty unlucky to lose to wales in what was an amazing game. I think Scotland will come back with a real determination to win every match. Wales haven't really looked amazing despite a fantastic effort to beat the Scots at home. If they could play more like they did in the last 10mins of that game for the rest of the tournament then they may well finish 3rd or 2nd. Ireland have surprised me so far, I thought they would play much better, but I think they'll still finish near the top. Italy look more creative and put quite a lot of pressure on Englands weak game in Rome. Yet I think the wooden spoon will theirs in the end. France look like their on the war path, I think the grand slam is theirs for the taking. So what are everyone else's thoughts? moreResolved Question: how come every biker friend that my mom brings home is a Raider fan?

in career grand slam titles? moreResolved Question: Do you think this would be a good move for The Undertaker?
To revert him back to the American Badass ?? I think it would be a good change. It would allow some people to move up in the ranks and take his place as he could move into a few midcard feuds which would then build up the person he is feuding with. He was the Hardcore Champion at a point whilst he was this gimmick and I think that was, argubly, when he was most exciting. Destroying people every week for the belt. But the WWE don't have the Hardcore any longer and they wouldnt allow such matches. However, they could make him win the Intercontinental championship. He has never won this before and this would also make him a Grand-Slam Champion, which he needs to complete it. And also bring ALOT of much needed prestige back to the belt with a long title run. I understand this will most likely not happen as he will probably retire soon or won't have much televison time. But I think it would work for him and I also think Smackdown! will be a little boring without his presence. Even if he were heel or not it would still be a much much much muuuhuuuch better show, no arguing, with The Undertaker there! moreResolved Question: Who will win the remaining grand slam events this season?

Okay, just to let you guys know,I'm not being a WWE mark.I saw a news article clip of Kurt Angle talking about why he went to TNA.Most of the stuff he mentioned was true about his injuries, not enough breaks, etc. But towards the end I read: "“I had fun in WWE at certain times, but I was never really happy.I don’t feel trapped (now) or held back like I did the first six years in my tenure with the other company. They held me back.” First of all, that is really unprofessional IMO.Second,I don't have anything against him going to TNA,but he could've atleast had some positive things to say.And how did WWE hold him back??? Held you back,Kurt? From what exactly? World championships? No,you did that multiple times. He was a 1 time World Heavyweight Championship, held the WWE Championship 4 times, held the WWE European Championship, the WWE Hardcore Championship, the WWE Intercontinental Championship,WWE Tag Team Championship w/ Chris Benoit all once in his career. Not to mention he's a Tenth Triple Crown Champion,a Fifth Grand Slam Championship, and he won King of the Ring 2000.He was also routinely booked in top feuds, could work equally well as a face or heel, and was never EVER buried on any card,at any time,at any point during his WWE career.Where the bitterness comes from is anybody’s guess. What are your thoughts about that? moreResolved Question: Nadal is the GROAT...?
I mean Federer is the GOAT right??The greatest of all time? And many have debated that Sampras and Rod Laver could be the the GOAT too...but from my perspective Federer is the GOAT because he has Nadal the GROAT...the Greatest Rival ofv All Time as a rival....Think about it, true Sampras and Laver unlike Federer have greater records against their rivals e.g Agassi 20-14 in favor of Sampras..Gonzales 35-21 in favor of Laver, Rosewall 66-75 in favor of Laver and Federer is what 8-13 against Nadal....?But the main point that im trying to convey is that both Sampras and Laver are great players but they did not really have a rival that could equally give them a challenging match up..but when it comes to Federer he has to deal with probably the Greatest Rival a tennis player could ever have. Why? First of all... You can see that Nadal has strengthened his game on different surfaces to be on the same level as Federer and Nadal is the only challenging obstacle that federer has to face to win a Slam....Disregarding the US open final last year.....you can see that Nadal is the most frequent player to meet or beat federer in the finals of a slam...How many players have this kind of rivalry at Slams???If you look at Sampras' draw in the finals of Slams ...Agassi was not always on the other side of the net and if he was there....Sampras did not really have to work that hard to beat Agassi(As I said Agassi is not a sufficient rival to Sampras) and this is the same with Laver and his rivals...http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pete_Sampras_career_statistics http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rod_Laver_career_statistics#Grand_Slam_finals http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roger_Federer_career_statistics You can argue that it could be that Sampras and Agassi have met in maybe quarterfinals or Semis but that can bring up another topic :How many pairs have been seeded as the No 1 and No 2 as long as Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer??? They've been seeded as the No1 and No 2 for past five years or so??This achievement has been achieved by how many players???One defining characteristic of the rivalry is that Federer and Nadal are the only pair of men to have ever finished five consecutive calendar years as the top two ranked players on the ATP Tour Let's also not forget the clay advantage in the head to head... * Clay courts: Nadal 9–2 * Hard courts: 3–3 * Grass courts: Federer 2–1 take away the clay and Fed leads 5-4.. And in defence of federer..Sampras weakness on clay was never improved unlike Federer who has been consistent on every surface...Laver played most Slams on grass... So the question of debate whether Federer may be the GOAT....well i think the question answers itself....but maybe the question you should be really asking is is Nadal really the the GROAT?? He is the first one to decline from the pair of top two players....LLook at Nadal's condition after all he's been through just to be on the same level as Federer (Injuries, confidence troubles) Quoting Joe Frazier's comment about Ali ,his greatest rival with whom he lost two out of three fights they had....Ali now suffering from Parkinson's disease " "Look at him now and look at me and tell me who really won those three fights," Frazier said." So ....The simple fact is, it's not easy to keep up with Roger Federer. It has caused truly exceptional athletes to push themselves to their physical limits and beyond. Novak Djokovic, Andy Roddick and Juan Martin del Potro have all struggled with injuries, including at the 2010 Australian Open. Nadal, just a couple of days after declaring that he was in excellent condition and had no lingering pain in his knees, defaulted mid-match against Andy Murray in the quarterfinals. Now he's going to be out of action for four weeks, and observers increasingly wonder if he'll ever again reach his 2008 level of play. Federer, meanwhile, floats on from major to major, unimpeded by physical problems despite having to lift up all those heavy trophies. Sixteen major titles; eight straight major finals; 23 consecutive major semifinals. Yes, Federer is 2-5 in Grand Slam finals against Nadal. But look at Nadal now and look at Federer and tell me who really won those seven matches.Haha(No harm intended) But I stand firm with my decision that Federer IS the GOAT and Nadal is the GROAT!!! I’m sure you all want to know what I’m talking about right? I’ve gotten you interested. Gossip gossip gossip! Everyone loves it! It puts you on the edge of your seat. Weather its reading it in a magazine such as US Weekly, watching it on The Insider, reading about it on perezhitlon.com a top ranked gossip site or even an educational newspaper, the enquirer, us as humans are fueled by gossip. Statistics have shown that it would take only 30 minutes to sell the amount of magazine needed to cover a complete football pitch. What is gossip and why do we love it so much? Is there any real truth in gossip? Gossip gives eyes and voice to everything. Weather it about Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt or the now infamous Tiger Woods. Today I will narrow the topic of gossip down towards gossip towards top athletes. Because of intense media and public interest in the private lives of sports celebrities, these talented athletes must constantly be on guard so as not to be exploited by tabloid journalism. Famous athletes strive for greatness. Famous athletes reach for perfection. Famous athletes are determined to win the race, to sink the winning shot, to hit the home run. However, once they reach the top, once they achieve hero status, top athletes often abuse their greatness. Numerous top athletes nowadays have allowed fame to get to their heads, and believe they can do anything because they are “indestructible” or invincible and above the law. For example, the popular Tiger Woods. Tiger Woods is an American professional golfer whose achievements to date rank him among the most successful golfers of all time. Currently the number one in the world, he was the highest-paid professional athlete in 2008, having earned an about $110 million from winnings and endorsements. All that fame must have gone to his head in one way or another. Right? For instance I’m sure you’ve all heard that he cheated on his wife. It’s not my place to judge, because most relationships go through some sort of problems and most men go through a bit of temptation, but it seems like Tiger has become a bit of a “cheetah.” It seems like he had a tad more than a bit of temptation when he had sexual relationships with over 17 different women. Still in no position to judge, because that is his own personal life and non of our business. WAIT. It is our business. Because of Tigers position, its quite our business indeed. If I know that Woods has won 14 professional major gold champions, and is the second highest of any male player. I am constantly notified that Tiger is the youngest player to achieve the career Grand Slam, and the youngest and fastest to win 50 tournaments on tour. If I can know all of that and praise him for it, I have the right to know the negativity as well. Fame is powerful, but can hurt you. Fame for athletes is like a double edge sword, one side is fame and glory and the other side is a ticket for the press to leak all the gossip. Tiger Woods and most top athletes are put on a pedestal, and fame does not make them indestructible. It’s quite the opposite actually: their job puts them in the public eye for everyone to enjoy, and that is just something they have to deal with. Fame with athletes is difficult. It seems as though athletes ignorantly seem to think that fame means that you can get away with anything and everything. They seem to think they are on top of the world and are simply indestructible. (Show Poster Of Famous Athlete Mug Shots) It doesn’t seem like any of these famous athletes are indestructible. I’ll leave it up to you for the judging because these pictures are just flooding around everywhere because these athletes are constantly in the public viewing of everyone. But if you look at this top picture here, of OJ Simpson a former football player who murdered his ex-wife and her best friend, you forget that he was the first NFL player to rush for more than 2,000 yards in a season. Or Kobe Bryant a former basketball player who sexually assaulted a 19 year old, you forget that he was the same person that scored the second highest number of points in a single game in NBA history. The only thing I think about is how stupid these people are for ruining their future, but thats just my opinion. Many opinions are flooded around about these people because they are constantly in the pubic eye. I came across a word that describes this situation with the utmost accuracy. Schadenfreude. Schadenfreude by definition means satisfaction or pleasure felt at someone else's misfortune. And isn’t that what happens. How many people here laugh iif their friends when they fall? Now, how many hate drama yet love spreading gossip? We’re only human. Now, imagine a famous person, lets say Michael Phelps for example, an Olympic winning swimmer, falls, or perhaps smokes weed and gossip spreads. We can’t help ourselves but run to the excitement and listen to what’s going on. Athletes have to watch themselves. It is unethical for athletes to behave in certain ways because their job puts them in the public eye. Since they are constantly in public view it is a necessity to be ethical and smart in the choices they make. In Conclusion a top athlete has a lot for a person to admire, strength, ambition and talent. They get idolized, and put on a pedestal as someone special because of their skills. But because of this, they have to be safe in their actions since they are viewed as such superior people. THANKS! I was looking for Grand Slam Tennis for the Wii that came with wii motion plus and i found it on tesco. But the really weird thing is that the game by itself is dearer than if it comes with wii motion plus. And why are the images of the two front covers different? I was wondering whether they are both the same games and if they are both compatible with wii motion plus because on one of the covers it doesn't have the little wii motion plus sign in the corner? I have added the links so you know what im talking about. http://www.tescoentertainment.com/store/games/-ea-sports-grand-slam-tennis-with-wii-motion-plus/8%3a610242/ http://www.tescoentertainment.com/store/games/-grand-slam-tennis/8%3a161298/ Thanks. moreVoting Question: Who win the most grand slam?

so i took a test this morning, and its positive!!! i took a second just to reassure myself before i got too excited. ive been waiting so long :) anyways. i know valentines day is coming up really soon, and i wanna surprise my boyfriend with the good news. as said before in my previous questions, my boyfriend may/maynot have a baby with his ex, but we are still waiting to take the paternity test as there is not much funding for the test until he comes home from training with his grand slam bonus :) his ex sprung the pregnancy on him after she was already 61/2 months pregnant, he just got thrown into the situation and we have only recieved 4 phone calls since then, odd? anyways, the baby was born the beginning of february, and we just recieved pictures of him the other day. since he was just thrown into this pregnancy and had no part in it what so ever, i wanted to make this special for him. i wanted to announce it in a very cute and creative way, something he will deffinately remember, and i dont know if i can even make it until valentines day!! i was thinking buying a chocolate candy heart box, and buying a baby camo onsie that says daddys little solider or something like that since he is in the army and sticking it in the chocolate box instead of the candy.. but then he may think its for his other son, so i was also thinking putting the pregnancy test under the onsie so he will know for deffinate. any other ideas? or stories of how you/wife told the good news to your babys dad/you? i love hearing about them :) & thank you again in advance! moreResolved Question: Has Larry Elder done a fantastic job showing the intellectual dishonesty of leftist hero Paul Krugman?
