i mean i went to mexico last summer (for first time!) and i think is great, in the hotel i made a lot of friends who are from DF (or something like that) and they were awesome, they told me mexico's got like two kind of people, the we-all-know illegally immigrants(guess what, they also hate them), and the other kind of people who actually have money and live in nice places(and they know how to speak english perfectly, at least i couldn't tell the difference). They didn't looked like the classical mexican juanita (lol), the guys were actually blond and the girls were soooo sexy. also Los Cabos is a VERY beautiful place. So I think they are nice people, but they are wrongly known for the stupid immigrants. what do you think?oh oh, i'm not racist and if someone get offended i'm Sorry! i say the mexicans-are-also-blonde because i guess many people (i was included) think mexicans are only brown little guys, with sombreros and a big mustache and they're not!, maybe u think i'm kind of obsessed or something but it was like a big boom in my life going to mexico, i've been kind of hating mexico for the things we hear in the news about drugs and gangs and immigrants and stuff, but when i went to mexico it was like WOOW! it's an awesome place and WOOW mexicans are actually nice people! SKELETORBUGZAPPER (aka snowman...): i think we all know immigrants of all nations are hardworking people. ohhh and i almost forgot it, I made a google search of all your spanish words and it seems they're colloquialisms, it's pretty obvious you're mexican, so stop bothering... guess no one is wondering why you get banned... Thanks all you guys for answering! moreResolved Question: Los Cabos Vacation Package!?!?!?

My sister, mom and i are going to Los Cabos, Mexico over spring break. We're staying at a hotel in San Jose Del Cabo. It's nice and all inclusive. We were wondering what the shopping is like in town, and any good snorkel companies that are like under $50? We heard that's it's cheaper to book when we're actually in town and we can speak Spanish so we're going to wait until we get there to actually book. Any tips or anything you can give us about Los Cabos/San Jose Del Cabo would be wonderful! Thanks so much:) moreResolved Question: Need local seafood suggestions for picky eater in Cabo San Lucas?
I am a really picky eater (especially when it comes to meat) who will be traveling to Cabo in the coming weeks. I've been there many times, and I've enjoyed amazing Mexican/Italian/American food, but I've never ordered any seafood there because I don't want to waste money on food I might not like. In recent months, I've been trying to expand my horizons and incorporate fish into my diet, and I'm hoping to take advantage of the world-class fishing in Los Cabos. I'd love some recommendations for fresh seafood in the area that has a very un-fishy flavor and texture and no bones. I enjoy tuna sandwiches and tilapia when properly sauced and/or seasoned, if that helps give some direction. Shrimp is a no-go (texture issues), and I find lobster in-shell unappetizing (I need my food to bear no resemblance to the animal it once was). I wish I didn't have the palate of a first-grader, but I do. So, I guess what I'm asking is: what's local/fresh and likely to be recommended to a six-year-old? moreResolved Question: I found a message on my boyfriends cell phone don't know what to do.?
I checked my boyfriend's cell phone's outbox and I found a message that said you look delicious and very handsome we owe eachother pictures (naked pictures???). Of course I didn't tell him I went through his cell phone but he has been acting strange and I needed answers he would not give me. I moved states for him followed him from Mexico City to Los Cabos and everything seems to be so different now that we live together and have been dating for over a year, I am now confused and do not know what to do. BTW we are a gay couple moreResolved Question: Looking for a music video that features a black man in white posing like statue in rio, and saving a turtle.?

We will be vacationing soon in Mexico at the all inclusive resort Barcelos Los Cabos. Our only other experience at an all inclusive was a Sandals in Jamaica in the employees can be fired for accepting a gratuity. The Barcelo is an all inclusive where gratuities are supposed to be included, but I've read other so called "all inclusives" where the staff constantly has their hand out waiting for a tip. I was just wondering if anyone has stayed at this hotel and know if the staff there will be expecting a tip. I wasn't planning on bringing much cash with me since I didn't spend any in Jamaica, but would be embarrassed if they are standing there with their hands out. I am currently in Los Cabos, Mexico and due to a chronic pain issue and some complicatons, I need to get Fioranol or Fioricet. My wife & I have booked a trip to Los Cabos, Mexico for our Honeymoon on Oct 14th 2009, however recent developments in the weather have us VERY concerned as a direct Catagory 5 Hurricane is going directly to our destination on Sunday/Monday the 19th of 2009, causing us to cancel our hotel reservations in Los Cabos , MEX. Hotels.com would not give us a full refund and we lost close to a thousand dollars. I spoke with 5 travel assistants and a manager. They kept on giving me the run arounds. Hi there! I've never been on a cruise or even really been anywhere outside of BC before. I have no idea how much I will end up spending on the cruise.. it's an Norwegian Star, if that helps.. freestyle. It's a week long and starts in LA. It makes 3 stops in Mexico.. Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlan, and Los Cabos san Lucas or something. I don't know if I want to do much off the ship.. but I am doing an excursion. (Basically already paid for.) So, having said all that, how much will I likely spend on the ship and how much American money should I take out for visits off ship in Mexico? Thanks!Did you spend much on the extra specialty restaurants? Did you buy souvenirs? Were they expensive? How much extra do the special restaurants cost? And how much extra does alcohol cost? Do you have to pay for all non-alcoholic beverages drinks? Lol. A lot of questions, i know. DO your best and most informative gets 10. First answer has done a good job so far.Timetraveler: Thanks for your input. I do know that my credit card will be used, I just want to know much much I will use on it. The booklet said nothing about prices for restaurants, but your estimate was all I was really looking for anyways. Thanks! moreResolved Question: Can I buy a prepaid SIM card for Mexico in the U.S.?
I am traveling to Mexico and I would like to buy a prepaid cellular SIM card for use in my iPhone while I'm in Los Cabos in October. I've posted this question a couple of times over the past couple of years, and the only response I ever get is to buy one at the airport. That ended in disaster last year. Unfortunately, when I arrived in Cancun, the arrival and departure sides where completely separate and there wasn't a single gift shop in the arrival side. Not having a SIM card was a nightmare as our driver didn't show up and there were no phones. I had to buy a $25 calling card just to make a single call to our hotel! It cost me $25 and more than an hour of searching for a solution. It was the same in Venice and Cabo -- we could not find SIM cards in either airport. In London the shops were closed and we had to once again make expensive calls when we missed our connecting flight to Scotland. The "buy one at the airport" tact is too hit or miss -- mostly miss. Last year when I posted this question I just received answers like "buy one when you get there" or I was given links to the mexican phone company's website (which was Spanish only). Neither was very helpful, and not having a SIM card on me cost me a lot of money and frustration, not to mention provided a crappy start to my trip. This year I don't want to take any chances. I want a Mexican SIM card in my hand before I leave the US. I've looked all over, including ebay and the Mexican phone cell phone companies websites, but because I don't speak (or read) Spanish, I can't find what I'm looking for at either. Does someone out there have any real and useful advice on how to get a card before I leave? I would be VERY grateful for the peace of mind it will provide. Thanks, JoeThanks joe. This is exactly the kind of useless BS answers I got last year.Sorry, I meant Will, not Joe moreResolved Question: Staying at the Riu Palace resort, are the any ATM machines in Cabo?
