Open Question: How often does this happen?

I had my back pack stolen a few years ago while it a sports practice. I ended up calling my phone, that was stolen in my backpack, over and over again until the guy texted me back telling me shut up. Any way I got online and saw that he had been using my phone to make calls so I texted him back telling him I was going to give the police the numbers he was calling. (Yes I had already filed a report and no there was no way of doing this without my phone or until the end of the month when the numbers came). Anyway it worked and he said he would return the stuff to my school the next day. To my utter surprise he left it in a trail about a mile from my school, texted me the location and I got most of my stuff back. I say most because he kept the phone (cancelled the sim card the next day) and had kept or sold my mp3 player and obviously the cash that was inside. The thing I thought was strange is that he left an ipod shuffle and the first version of the ipod (like I said a long time ago) I'm guessing to make up for the theft. So my question after all this story is one: How often do people actually get their stuff back after such a theft? and two: have they EVER tried to recompense like mine did? more

My problem currently is: I just signed up for a new account, downloaded Fiesta, was able to download some albums, but now I cannot get anything to download. The site is up! I click on the album I want to download, then I get a message saying "the album you selected is ready for download", but then nothing happens. It doesnt go into my download page and it doesnt start downloading in Fiesta like it did before. Just nothing. I have 2 e-mails in to customer service, but nothing yet. This was since this morning. It is now almost 4PM. I guess I am just not too impressed with the "Priority Customer Service" that is supposed to come with their GOLD UNLIMITED account. more

Open Question: I have a problem with my MP3 player and playing my downloads, can anyone please help?

I downloaded about 128 different tunes on to my Curtis MP3 player from my CDs loaded on to my PC. This worked fine for a while until I discovered that it was only playing about 30 of the tunes and then starting over. I took the MP3 and plugged it back into my PC via USB and tried to download and sync them all again but the PC kept telling me that the tunes were "already on the device". Now my MP3 says it has no files and I am unable to download anything on to it. Can anyone please help or should I just buy a new MP3? more

Open Question: Why are my garageband files that are almost empty take up so much space (over 100mb)?

I have garageband files saved that have absolutely nothing recorded onto it that take up tons of space and then i have actual complete songs with multiple tracks that take up less space. This is annoying because some songs that i want to send through email are too large and i want to send the garageband file, (not an mp3) so the person can edit the music on there. I have a 3 minute song that is about 800 KB and i can send it fine, but then ill edit it a little bit and it became over 40 mb. What determines the file size of a garageband file and how can i make it large files smaller? more

Open Question: I need help with my computer!?

When i plug a device in the two usb hub's in the front of my computer like my camera my mp3 etc, they are not being recognized, now they have always worked and been recognized until now. I have gone into the device manager scanned it tried updating it and even uninstalled it. I have restarted my computer with the device in the usb port and i have tried the back usb ports, but the back usb ports are not recognizing my camera and mp3 , my keyboard and mouse still work its just other devices don't. In the device manager it lists my camera and my mp3 when i plug it in but for some odd reason my folders and my computer it's self just doesn't recognize it to where i can't transfer my pictures or sync my music to my mp3, ive also tried uninstalling the software for my camera and it still isn't working, my mp3 never needed a disk or any sort of software to be installed, help? more

I had two sets of speakers (front left/right and surround sound) working on my sound card for a while and then I added a third set and my sound stopped working. I went back to just one of the speakers and can't get the sound to come back. My sound card's driver is updated and the description says everything is working fine. I bought a creative Zen MP3 player a year ago and now it is messing up bit time. Sometimes when i play a song the screen goes black. If i connect it and try to add anything the whole screen slowly turns white. The player constantly thinks that the switch is in the locked position even when it's not is there a way I can just disable the lock feature?
