Orlando Timeshare Tours Questions asked
Resolved Question: Are theme park tickets in exchange for timeshare tours legitimate?
I just came back from a vacation in Orlando, FL. and seen the glorified Highway 192 hot air balloon clutter about deep discounts on popular attractions in the Orlando area (mainly Universal Studios, Sea World and of course Disney World) only to find out that everyone of them would have a different story as why NOT to buy tickets from any of the other "hot air balloon" dealers and why their tickets are safe, legitimate, inexpensive, etc. We also were around to see angry vacationers demanding refunds claiming that they drove all the way to the park of choice with the tickets, only to be turned away at the door. On top of that, about half of the times we entered or reentered theme parks, we seen folks being turned away because of such tickets. However, for a mere few hours of our time, we could sit through various 'timeshare tours" and be granted multiple, multi-day passes upon completing the required "tours". My question is this: if we were to sit through one of these presentations on our next vacation, would we indeed be granted the tickets of our choice for the price stated, or is it just another scam with bogus or expired tickets to be had? Has anyone done the tours and saved a good amount of money AND working, glitch free tickets?

moreResolved Question: Will I have problems canceling a Westgate Orlando timeshare tour?
I booked a 4 night stay for 159 at Westgate Town Center earlier this year. I've decided to cancel and go with a better offer that includes free disney tickets. Do you think they will hassle me about canceling?
moreResolved Question: What is the best way to give away free vacations to Las Vegas and Orlando? Timeshare presentation is required.
I want to give away at least 100 free vacations each month to Las Vegas and another 50 each month to Orlando. This would be part of a timeshare promotion. The guests must meet minimum age and income qualifications and attend a resort tour.
Craigslist will not allow these postings; Kiiji will not allow these postings; ebay requirements are too strict. By too strict, I mean that the reservations are going to vary from hotel to hotel in each vacation destination. Ebay claims this is a violation of their rules since they require each auction/offering to have just one hotel or resort room description per listing. I am not permitted to use "Jockey Club or similar accommodations."
I am willing to invest some money (up to $1,000.00) in a broad advertising campaign but what is the best resource? I have tried USA Today (Friday Travel Section classifieds). Out of nationwide coverage, I received 1 booking!
Does anyone here have a real idea that can help me promote these free vacations?
moreResolved Question: Does getting people to visit a timeshare resort while they are on their vacation, pay off the books?
Everytime I go to Orlando, there are people behind these booths in stores encouraging me to go to a 90 minute timeshare presention. They offer you free tickets to the theme parks, or $100 cash or $100 on a credit card, which they call (GIFTS).. You have to give them $20, as a deposit which will be returned to you along with your gift, after you take your tour..
Do the people who take your $20 and make your appointment with the resort, get to keep that money, and is that off the books?

moreResolved Question: Can you suggest an inexpensive nice family hotel in Orlando?
My husband and I are visiting Florida sometime this summer with our 7 yr old daughter. We will be staying with my parents for a week but want to break away on our own for a few days and enjoy some quiet time together. We're easy to please. We're looking for a nice place preferably with a decent kids pool, kids activities would be nice but not necessary. We are not planning on doing theme parks but would love tips on fun local attractions. We want to keep this trip relaxing an lowkey. We can afford up to $120/night. Any good deals you know of where we can just get away for a while and not break the bank? I don't mind doing a timeshare tour if they are not too aggressive. If you know of any nice things to do there for kids other than theme parks, I'd love to hear about it. We did Wonderworks once..that was fun. We want to do a couple of small low stress things and avoid the major parks. I'd love any suggestions. Thanks so much!!
moreResolved Question: How can we best offer discounted Disney World tickets to someone willing to attend a timeshare presentation?
We are a very small start-up company trying to reach people so they can get free stuff for taking a timeshare tour. The places we offer tours include: Branson, MO; Gatlinburg, TN; Orlando, FL; Hilton Head, SC, and Williamburg, VA. Married couples (and couples who live together) who are at least 25 years of age and have an income of over $50,000.00 can take a 90 minute tours and receive Dixie Stampede Dinner Show tickets whereever Dixie Stampede is located, or they can receive cash in Branson ($150.00 CASH); or 2 Disney World, 2 Universal Studios, or 2 SeaWorld tickets in Orlando; or a motel room and 2 rounds of golf in Hilton Head. Our question is probably the one every new business owner wants to ask: How can we best reach our potential customers? We believe our potential customers are those who do not yet know they can receive these valuable gifts for attending a timeshare presentation. We have tried eBay. Is there anyone who can offer us advice on cheap marketing strategies? Thanks!
moreResolved Question: Do timeshares ask for proof of income.?
Secondly, My mother is 60 and I am 24. We live in the same home. She is divorced. Can we qualify as combined income to take the tour and receive free tickets. (in Orlando)
No sarcastic answers, please.
moreResolved Question: What are the eligibility requirements for a timeshare tour?
I live in Orlando and would like to get free tickets to Disney or at least Universal Studios, or even cash for going on one of those timeshare tours I have read so much about. So I spent a long time doing online research but for some reason there is no clear answer to this question. Specifically, will they let Florida residents go on the tour or is it only for out of state people who are on vacation? Also, do they do anything to actually verify that you meet the minimum income level?
