Open Question: first time going to europe 18yo girl from SF what to expect?
so i have a couple of questions, just respond to whichever you can easily answer. #1 so i heard that european men are very perverted especially in france. like they will just grab at you. now not to toot my own horn but i am attractive and tall but not blonde/blue eyed and i dont dress like most american girls. i have dark hair and with how i dress i would resemble a beatnik if only i had a beret (which i will have to pick up in paris haha) so is this true? should i not have too many problems since im more modest? also, will any european men be remotely interested? remotely is all i need, im single but i dont want to go crazy in europe although i look forward to flirting over good wine (who doesnt?) #2 what should i expect from EF COLLEGE BREAK tour? im doing west to east, london, paris, amsterdam, berlin (!!!!), prague, budapest, vienna, and munich. ALSO im from san francisco and when i youtubed ef college break i got a video of a bunch of suburban white kids being loud in italy or spain i cant remember at night im guessing going to a club. anyways this is NOT my idea of fun. or better these arent my types of peeps like im open to people i just dont want the majority of my group to be dumbasses who will rather club than go see where amelie was filmed and im left all alone. so what type of ppl were in your group and also what was your overall experience with EF? ANYTHING ELSE i should know????? this is my first time in europe and obviously i want to have the best time. moreResolved Question: Michael Jackson family OW?

If I won a million dollars I would be so very happy. The veery first thing I would do would be to buy a house for my mom... cash. no mortgage. It would'nt have to be a very big house, but it would have to have a lot of storgage for my mom and I have a lot of "stuff". There would be money left over. So I would buy a car for me. Not an expensive one but one that was in good shape. Maybe a VW convertible. The third thing would be to set money aside to pay the tuition so my mom could get her masters degree. i would want to also put money away in savings. I would have to bufget the money very carefull but I gurure I couold save at least half for a rainy day. The balance of the money would go to charity, perferable to a family with kids who need it. -------------------- I have had many perfect vacations and I would love to repeat them. I have eben to Hawaii, alaska, nw york, pennsylvania, the grand canyon, mexicon, sedona, florida and china. My next "perfect" vacation would be one of two places. Manhatton (new York) to see more broadway plays, and vistit the museums ( i was young when i was last there ) I love the city and would consider living there when I am older. and because I was born in germany, I ould like very much to spend a few week there. i would see the german hospital where I was born, visit the barn were my moms horse lived and dies, vista all teh places I visited when i was very little ( and now cant remeber). I would tour bamberg where my mom dad and I lived. I would also want to drive to prague since I was 2 the last time I was there and all i have are the pictures. I would like to also rent a car and drive on the autobahn, while visiting bambergs castles and churches. Thanks so much for your help. I will award 10 points for best answer. Glad to see he is more concerned about building up his European popularity while his budget tanks this nation into non-recoverable debt. Obama is planning to hold a town hall-style meeting at a sports arena in Strasbourg, France, European diplomatic officials said. And the White House is looking for a site in Prague for the first public foreign-policy speech of Mr. Obama's presidency, according to Petr Kolar, the Czech Republic's ambassador to the U.S. Turkish press reports say Mr. Obama's visit to Istanbul after the Prague summit will include a stop at the Hagia Sophia, a Byzantine-era church converted to a mosque under the Ottomans, and a stop at the national Sultan Ahmed Mosque. The emphasis on including public events, a deliberate nod to Mr. Obama's successful tour through Europe as a presidential candidate, stands in contrast to the divisions that have opened on policy since he took office. Czech Prime Minister Mirek Topolánek, who resigned on Thursday after an earlier parliamentary vote of no-confidence, this week called Mr. Obama's economic prescriptions "the road to hell." Paris and Berlin have been openly hostile to the U.S. president's calls for more fiscal stimulus. And his pleas for more troops for Afghanistan have given way to more modest calls for help in propping up Afghanistan and Pakistan's civilian governments.http://online.wsj.com/article/SB123811085174652889.html moreResolved Question: Holiday in West Coast Canada or Eastern Europe?

I plan on staying in mostly youth hostels or overnight on the train. I do know that it costs extra for a bed on the train too. Oh, and i'm under 25, so i get all the youth discounts on the eurorail pass and for museums and stuff. Ok, so i do realize that this itinerary was too much travelling. I think if i cut out Spain in general, Venice, Bern, Lausanne and Luzern and Cologne then it will be more reasonable. My friend that lives in Germany said that Cologne is worth visiting, but i dont know, perhaps i will cut out hamburg too. Also, i have been to europe b4. I actually just spent 3 weeks there last summer, so i think i do know how big it is. Also, my friend and I that are going arent big drinkers. I will probably go to clubs/bars twice a week or so. And when i was in europe last summer, half of the museums that i went to gave student discounts, and so does eurorail. I think its $200 cheaper if you under 26. I understand that my lodging budget it too low. But it seems like you can get a hostel for about 30 euros a night? moreResolved Question: Train from Prague to Vienna
I am going to Prague again for a few days in a couple of week with a friend, we are thinking of catching an early morning train at about 7am from Prague to Vienna. Has anyone done this journey? Its a few minutes over 4 hours and really inexpensive at about 40E. Also, as we will have limited time in Vienna, whats best to see? I was thinking maybe a city tour on an open bus or somethng to make the most of the time we have there?! Obama's Democrat crony Schumer throws millions ounder the bus (I mean tank) to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Prague uprising and the execution of Hungary's Imre Nagy: http://online.wsj.com/article/SB121245110938939473.html?mod=opinion_main_commentaries Obviously, Obama and Schumer do not care about voter intimidation, if the voters in question cannot help them to acheive power because they live in Europe: http://www.nytimes.com/cq/2007/01/31/cq_2213.html Obama's associates, one after another, make controversial statements for attention, so Obama can make big speeches to look like a "good guy." Are Schumer's surreal, outrageous comments ANOTHER way to stir up controversy, so Obama can play "Uniter," make stirring speeches during his European tour (announced today) & PRETEND to get rid of Schumer? Of course, there may be another reason Obama's political party is saying these things: http://www.senate.gov/~schumer/SchumerWebsite/pressroom/press_releases/PR02066.htmlAvner: perhaps, but not through the means proposed by the Democrats in these links, which would support the reinstatement of Russian dominance over its former satellites. Absolutely Unthinkable. moreResolved Question: Should we look for oil in ........?
Yalta? Good Cop / Bad Cop has worked for the "Democrats" in the US, so why not try it in the capitals of Europe? Democrat Obama crony Schumer throws millions under the bus (I mean tank) to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Prague uprising and the execution of Hungary's Imre Nagy: http://online.wsj.com/article/SB121245110938939473.html?mod=opinion_main_commentaries Obviously, Obama and Schumer are not as concerned about voter intimidation as long as the voters in question cannot help them to acheive power: http://www.nytimes.com/cq/2007/01/31/cq_2213.html Or are Schumer's surreal, outrageous comments merely ANOTHER means of stirring up controversy, so Obama the Uniter can make stirring speeches during his European tour (announced today), throwing Schumer under the bus? Of course, there may be another reason (Michael Moore didn't get around to this one): http://www.senate.gov/~schumer/SchumerWebsite/pressroom/press_releases/PR02066.htmlI am not a Bush supporter. I am neither a Republican nor a Democrat.Avner: perhaps, but not from another Yalta Conference! moreResolved Question: Looking for unique and original things to do while in Berlin, Vienna, Prague, Milan, Paris, or London!!?
