Open Question: Is it worth it ?
I'm a dancer (as you may or may not know.. either way, you do now) And I don't know if im going to like, do it when i get older.. take it seriously, i mean. I have lots of really amazing opportunities with dance, this summer i could do a workshop in italy, i might tour china for an international ballet festival thing, and i could sign up for a big school in san francisco after i move there. the thing is, i don't know if i want to. Because If I continue with it and stop after high school, its just a huge wasted effort (imo) if i stop now, im just useless because I don't do anything else well. opinions? Im lost..Every time i go to dance though, it feels like a chore... so thats why i dont know what to do. i enjoy dance but its not something im 100% committed to moreOpen Question: first time going to europe 18yo girl from SF what to expect?
so i have a couple of questions, just respond to whichever you can easily answer. #1 so i heard that european men are very perverted especially in france. like they will just grab at you. now not to toot my own horn but i am attractive and tall but not blonde/blue eyed and i dont dress like most american girls. i have dark hair and with how i dress i would resemble a beatnik if only i had a beret (which i will have to pick up in paris haha) so is this true? should i not have too many problems since im more modest? also, will any european men be remotely interested? remotely is all i need, im single but i dont want to go crazy in europe although i look forward to flirting over good wine (who doesnt?) #2 what should i expect from EF COLLEGE BREAK tour? im doing west to east, london, paris, amsterdam, berlin (!!!!), prague, budapest, vienna, and munich. ALSO im from san francisco and when i youtubed ef college break i got a video of a bunch of suburban white kids being loud in italy or spain i cant remember at night im guessing going to a club. anyways this is NOT my idea of fun. or better these arent my types of peeps like im open to people i just dont want the majority of my group to be dumbasses who will rather club than go see where amelie was filmed and im left all alone. so what type of ppl were in your group and also what was your overall experience with EF? ANYTHING ELSE i should know????? this is my first time in europe and obviously i want to have the best time. moreOpen Question: HELP WARPED TOUR! :D?

Its my first time for this matter. I've never rode one before. I am gonna take my gf on our anniversary day. So, when I buy the ticket online, do they ship the tickets to home? Also, where do you start your tour? You can start at any stop? Do you need to show the tickets to the driver any time you go into the bus, like taking MUNI bus? Please help me from your previous experience. moreResolved Question: How can I hook up with Fobby Asian chicks?
Call it what you will, but I have a huge thing for Asian chicks, particularly Fobby (fresh off the boat from the Asia) Asian chicks in the U.S. They're simpy gorgeous: size 00 skinny, smooth skin, small firm breasts, tight flat butts, big brown eyes, long black hair, sweet angel faces! And they're even more attractive because of their modesty in their great looks -- it's such a turn on when I meet a shy Asian girl wearing baggy, unconventional clothes and discover because closed doors that she has an incredible model-quality body underneath! I'm a fairly good looking, well-endowed white guy, so I'd think that I'd be pretty attractive mate for these women, but I'm a little uncomfortable trying to hook up with them because of language and cultural differences. What can I do to facilitate meeting and hooking up with Fobby Asian girls? BTW, I live in San Francisco. BTW, I don't want to hear from any smart a*ses that I should see an Asian prostitute or go on an Asian sex tour! I'm serious with this question, and I think I could give these girls something in the bedroom they couldn't get in Asia (which will help them get used to American men!). There must be other guys on this site who similarly lust after these little goddesses, so let's hear from you!I've tricked no Asian girls? they seemed pretty into me and admitted that they had better sex with me than they could get in Asia. Looks like they won't want to be going back when they see how much more fun they have with white guys than Asian boys behind closed doors! I think the language barrier is a little tough. I can say a couple things in Asian, like "neehow maw" and "wow hun how," which is a nice conversation starter, but I can't say much more than that. The girls says that I have a good Asian accent, so I think that's ok, but vocabulary is my problem. Anyone know how hard it is to learn Asian? Half a billion gorgeous women in Asia... How can get more of them over? moreResolved Question: Schengen Visa from German Embassy?

So I'm trying to look into colleges that are friendly or specializing in arts [fine art to be exact], I have toured the Academy of Art University in San Francisco twice, but I feel like its all a sham, I've heard of people really liking it there, and others hating it and dropping out. So I was wondering what reputable arts colleges are there in the Los Angeles, San Francisco, or NYC area? MEXICO CITY – Mexico City enacted Latin America's first law recognizing gay marriage Tuesday and said it hopes to attract same-sex couples from around the world to wed. The law, approved by city legislators on Dec. 21, was published in Mexico City's official register Tuesday and will take effect in March. It will allow same-sex couples to adopt children and municipal officials say it will make Mexico's capital a "vanguard city" — and attract extra tourism revenues. "Mexico City will become a center, where (gay) people from all over the world will be able to come and have their wedding, and then spend their honeymoon here," said Alejandro Rojas, the city tourism secretary. "We are already in talks with some travel agencies that are planning to offer package tours that include flights, hotels, guides, and everything they need for the wedding, like banquets," said Rojas. "We are going to become a city on a par with Venice or San Francisco" — the current leader in the gay travel market segment. The annual economic impact of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender travelers is about $70 billion in the United States alone, according to Community Marketing Inc., a tourism research company that specializes in gay and lesbian consumers. Gay marriages of foreigners in Mexico City would presumably only be recognized by countries and states that also have legalized same-sex marriage. An exception is New York State, which doesn't allow same-sex marriages but which recognizes those which were performed legally in other jurisdictions. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20091229/ap_on_re_la_am_ca/lt_mexico_gay_marriage moreResolved Question: is justin bieber gonna announce more 2010 tour dates?

A guide at Windsor Castle was struggling to make herself heard over the roar of low flying aircraft coming into land at nearby Heathrow. She was interrupted by a tourist who demanded what was wrong with the town planners, and why had they built the castle so close to the airport. The highlight of a cruise liner's visit to the Alaskan port of Valdez was a guided tour of the southern end of the great 800 mile pipeline through which, the guide informed them, some 1.3 million barrels of oil came daily from Prudoe Bay in the north. When he asked if there were any questions, someone solemnly enquired, `How do they get all those empty barrels back up to Prudoe Bay?' `Good home wanted for year-old Basset bitch. Understands every word I say, but ignores it.' Card in Portsmouth shop window. A group of tourists escorted around the British Houses of Parliament suddenly found themselves in the presence of the then Lord Chancellor, Lord Hailsham, resplendent in full wig and gown. Spying behind the group the figure of Neil Marten MP, the Lord Chancellor called out in greeting.`Neil' with dignified vigour. And all the tourists did. A tourist, on a driving holiday in Britain was reported to have been overcome by the Cotswolds but astonished at the number of villages with the same name. `After Chipping Sodbury,' he said, `there were three villages in a row called Loose Chippings.' An English classics scholar, trying to impress his tour party colleagues on holiday in Athens, offered to converse in Greek with the local ferry officers at the docks to enquire about departure times. The locals, after recovering from fits of laughter, then revealed to the rest of the group, in perfect English, the scholar's question: When do the galleys sail for the Isle of Aegina, O sailors?' In 1981, fifty San Francisco nudists arrived in Miami for a national convention to find their airline had lost all their luggage, including their clothes. The 1982 Association of British Travel Agents conference in Phoenix, Arizona, had to change its venue at the last moment when it discovered that its original hotel had been double booked. The story is told, apocryphal no doubt, of the DJ working on a small and remote radio station in Scotland midway through his programme late at night on 1 October 1977. News came to the station that Bing Crosby had died (the station producer happened to be on the phone to the States and picked the word up almost as it occurred). The DJ thought he could possibly be the first person in the UK to publicly announce the death, so he put on a long track and rushed off to record library to get an old recording to play. Upon returning, nervously excited by now, he put the first record onto the turntable without looking at it and broke into the record then playing with a sombre voice: 'I am deeply sorry to have to inform' you listeners that I have just received news from America of a great tragedy. The legendary Bing Crosby is dead. As a humble tribute, I would like to play one of his songs,' and as he switched over to his Crosby 'selection', the melody was beamed out, 'Heaven . . . I'm in Heaven...' BEWARE OF TRAINS GOING BOTH WAYS AT ONCE. - Notice at Durham level crossing moreResolved Question: how to go santa clara to san francisco day tour by bus ? and from where?

Hi. Next year we are doing a three-month tour of the USA (as part of a round-the-world trip). We are from the UK. We are arriving into San Francisco and driving all the way across to Boston, Massachusetts. At first we considered renting an RV, but the cost was astronomical for that length of time. So then we downsized to a car, and this is also very expensive when you add in the one-way fees and fuel costs. So are current idea is the greyhound buses for most of the trip, with a car rental for one week for the old "route 66" bit between Flagstaff and Oklahoma City. Also there are several stretches on the Greyhound buses that are overnight, so we would save money on hotels for a few nights. What do you think of this method, what are the Greyhound buses like? Does anyone have any other ideas of how we might travel? Thanks! moreResolved Question: Colleges in the San Francisco bay area?

I'm traveling from Australia to San Francisco later this November for 13 days and i found out that the people that i was thinking of staying with didn't really have much accessible public transport to San Francisco as they live just far out enough. I really would love to discover SF and sites such as the Golden Gate Bridge and Muir woods. I love beautiful scenery and am interested in the bay cruise too. Yosemite is another beautiful place. Because i don't want to spend 13 days in a nearly excluded area, i was wondering if there are any tours that are around 7-10 days or so, even if they explore San Francisco and surrounding areas in California, as long as the final destination is SF. Thanks for any help. moreResolved Question: Urgent help traveling to California?
I am travelingto San Francisco late November and i need some help on my travel plans. I don't want to stay in San Francisco alone, but i have extended family East of Los Angeles. I really would love to tour some of the attractions in SF such as the Golden Gate and Alcatraz, or even Yosemite national park but would also love to spend most of my time with my family up in LA. I'm ttravelingfrom Australia, so i don't want to spend more on airfare tickets. I was thinking of either taking a one way tour by train or bus up to LA and then stay with my family for a while and come back to SF by just a normal bus/train ride or vice versa. Any guidance in a couple days tour or suggestions on ttravelingto and from LA while still being able to see and stop and beautiful sites would be greatly appreciated. I'm also on a tight budget, so i'm flexible to options by bus or train.I can't drive due to a medical condition, so cars are out of the option.I really prefer SF over LA, it's more my style, but the main problem is that i'm travelling alone and finding somewhere to stay alone isn't that safe. I am looking for a newly started micro-brewery in San Francisco Bay area that would be willing to host my group of University of Michigan Students for a tour. This should not be a scripted tour from one of the big well established microbreweries, but rather a tour from a brewery that is a new up and coming establishment. These students are entrepreneurs and are looking to learn a little bit while at this micro brewery. Any Help is appreciated! moreResolved Question: is Tokio Hotel really coming to north caronlina?

Okay I'm a senior in HS, I graduate in May 2010. I live in CA. My current gpa up to junior year is 2.93 unweighed and 3.03 for CSUs/UCs.I used to attend a charter school and had NO honors classes up unitl junior year when i transferred schools and got honors + sports. I play soccer and used to volunteer at the zoo. I'm having a very difficult time deciding where I want to go and if I can even get in. When i was younger I dreamed about getting into NYU but obviously I have little chances to get in. plus my dad is forcing me to stay in CA, since he's paying for everything, he wants me nearby in case of "an emergency" blah blah. I would love to go to a UC but i doubt I can get in, so now I'm stuck looking at CSU's even though I don't want to go to a CSU. I haven't toured ANY colleges yet. No one is helping me decide. -SF state ( i love san francisco!) -Chico state (my dad wants me to go here + parties + it's nearby) -San Diego state (hard to get in, it's in socal so my dad doesn't want me to go) -CSUMB (heard it's boring and my dad wants me to go there so he can visit all the time, but monterey IS pretty) -Northern Arizona U (heard flagstaff is pretty, but it's in arizona, it seems nice. -UC Santa Barabara (good area + it's a UC) -UC santa cruz (why not?) -UC san diego (way too hard to get in, for now) I am looking forward dearly to college so I can finally start to have a "life" etc. Please helllp! I also got 1480/2400 on my SAT's, i could retake it in december but idk. moreResolved Question: I am looking for a Micro Brewery in San Franscisco Bay Area?
I am planning a trip for a group of Entrepreneurs from the University of Michigan to the San Francisco Bay area and was hoping that someone could help me find a suitable micro brewery to give us a tour/host us for maybe half of a day. I am looking for a micro brewery with a young owner who could speak to us about the his business. I think that the students would be very interested in learning about the owner's challenges and success in his business. Please let me know if you know of a brewery like this and who I could contact about setting up a tour / hosting? Thanks! moreResolved Question: Is my donation request alright?
Dear Hyland Family Bicycles, My name is Chris Chan. My friend and I are sophomores in high school and we are founders of a group called Ride Against Cancer. By cycling to different parts of the country, we hope to make a difference by helping spread cancer awareness to our community and the world, as well as raising money for cancer research Our first bike tour will be next year, from San Francisco, CA to Crescent City, CA. It is a 820 mile trip that will last about 2 weeks. The money we raise will go to the National Foundation for Cancer Research, and this years goal is to raise $5,000. I am asking you to help us reach our goal by donating to the National Foundation for Cancer Research on behalf of Ride Against Cancer. Any donation amount is always welcomed. Each dollar will help us move one step forward in finding the cure to cancer. We thank you for your time and consideration. If you require additional information about Ride Against Cancer, please contact me and I'll be happy to answer any questions you may have. Family of four (parents plus 2 girls aged 12 & 8) will be visiting US September 2010 for 4 weeks. We want to visit LA, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Grand Canyon, New York, Niagara Falls (yes we know its in Canada) and Disney Land in Florida. Can anyone give us any advice about this trip? What type of accommodation can we expect - thinking mid range motels (not five star or trailer park) and how much will it cost. Should we try and organise our own sight seeing or should we go on organised tours? Should we drive from LA to San Francisco - is driving easy or is it too easy to get lost or better to take a bus? Any other places that we should see? Any advice would be appreciated! moreResolved Question: What is your favorite event or festival to attend in the San Francisco bay area?
