Open Question: Lady GaGa fans: question?
Okay its inevitable that Lady GaGa has changed so much since she first became famous. Am i the only one that misses her "the fame-esque" persona? Her new tours, interviews, performances etc. are just sooo different than the kinds i fell in love with. When i first became a fan of her, she was soooo mysterious and edgy and she left me with my jaw dropped wanting more- The paparazzi video for example and the shy, reserved, flat attitude interviews that made me think WHO IS THIS WOMAN AND HOW CAN I GET MORE?! Now, her hair is yellow, she died her eye brows back to brown, and it looks like her face has been tightened back. liked her more here: http://cdn.buzznet.com/assets/users16/ladygaga/default/lady-gaga-live-san-diego--large-msg-123696748349.jpg and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=18VqtBifjPo (ahhhh i love this) than here: http://cdn.buzznet.com/media-cdn/jj1/headlines/2009/11/lady-gaga-the-fame-monster.jpg i dunno, i just dont want to see this woman lose her mystery if that makes since to anyone. i mean, weirdness is expected, and i know she is different than any other performer. I just don't want to see her fall to what the public wants her to be (role model for children, perfect, diva-ish etc.) because that is what i am starting to see... :( moreOpen Question: I'm going on a road trip from Kennewick, WA to San Diego, CA. I would love to see as many beautiful attractions and places as I can from the tri-cities in WA to Southern California, I need to start mapping out the road trip soon. So, I would be more than happy to hear as many ideas for places that I see and tour along the way. It doesn't matter where it is in Oregon and CA, I just need alot of ideas and would love to hear your opinion! Thank you!!! moreOpen Question: What pier in San Fransisco has the place where you can have a tour of Alcatraz?

I have enough money to take a somewhat decent trip every couple of years. I can buy a $600 plane ticket (give or take) and stay in modest but comfortable accommodations for about a week. I feel like I'm a pretty typical traveler in that way. In the past few years, I've been to Puerto Rico, Montreal, and Spain (Madrid and Barcelona). I enjoyed my trips to varying degrees, but often, I felt stumped as to how to make the most of each trip. I loved Montreal because it was peaceful and pretty, and we lucked into perfect weather. I hated my trip to Puerto Rico because after one historical tour of San Juan and a trip to a modest rain forest, I was totally out of things to do. (No offense if you're from Puerto Rico; I don't mean it was an awful place. I just hated my trip.) Spain was in the middle. I enjoyed touring the royal palace and exploring Toledo as a day trip, but I got very tired of walking around trying to think of things to do in Barcelona. Please note that I am presuming that the problem is largely with me, not with the places I'm mentioning. I want to be one of those people who gushes, "I LOVE travel," or at least, if I am going to travel, I want to get as much out of it as I possibly can. What do you suggest? I like (but don't love) museums, I have a decent appreciation for great weather and natural scenery, and I like trying new restaurants, but I get tired of paying so much money for food by the end of a week. Tell me how I can pimp my trips a little? (You know, as in "pimp my ride." I mean, make the most out of them. :-)) moreResolved Question: Why is Lady Gaga never in Texas?
Ok, so has anyone ever noticed that Gaga has had 2 tours so far, yet she never comes to Texas. No Dallas, San Antonio, Austin...not even Houston (which btw are the 8th, 7th, 15th, and 4th biggest cities in the US respectively)? Does anyone know why? Because I would love to see her, but Im not traveling out of state though. moreResolved Question: Is it worth it ?
I'm a dancer (as you may or may not know.. either way, you do now) And I don't know if im going to like, do it when i get older.. take it seriously, i mean. I have lots of really amazing opportunities with dance, this summer i could do a workshop in italy, i might tour china for an international ballet festival thing, and i could sign up for a big school in san francisco after i move there. the thing is, i don't know if i want to. Because If I continue with it and stop after high school, its just a huge wasted effort (imo) if i stop now, im just useless because I don't do anything else well. opinions? Im lost..Every time i go to dance though, it feels like a chore... so thats why i dont know what to do. i enjoy dance but its not something im 100% committed to moreResolved Question: A question about the college Cal Poly San Luis Obispo?

This is really important to me. moreResolved Question: first time going to europe 18yo girl from SF what to expect?
so i have a couple of questions, just respond to whichever you can easily answer. #1 so i heard that european men are very perverted especially in france. like they will just grab at you. now not to toot my own horn but i am attractive and tall but not blonde/blue eyed and i dont dress like most american girls. i have dark hair and with how i dress i would resemble a beatnik if only i had a beret (which i will have to pick up in paris haha) so is this true? should i not have too many problems since im more modest? also, will any european men be remotely interested? remotely is all i need, im single but i dont want to go crazy in europe although i look forward to flirting over good wine (who doesnt?) #2 what should i expect from EF COLLEGE BREAK tour? im doing west to east, london, paris, amsterdam, berlin (!!!!), prague, budapest, vienna, and munich. ALSO im from san francisco and when i youtubed ef college break i got a video of a bunch of suburban white kids being loud in italy or spain i cant remember at night im guessing going to a club. anyways this is NOT my idea of fun. or better these arent my types of peeps like im open to people i just dont want the majority of my group to be dumbasses who will rather club than go see where amelie was filmed and im left all alone. so what type of ppl were in your group and also what was your overall experience with EF? ANYTHING ELSE i should know????? this is my first time in europe and obviously i want to have the best time. moreVoting Question: HELP WARPED TOUR! :D?

Hi, I've booked a hotel in the downtown Los Angeles and would like to know what's the best way to commute from the LAX Airport to the downtown hotel besides taking the cab or the Flyaway bus to union station? Also, after my Los Angeles land trip, I'll be joining the cruise tour and the embarkation pier is located in San Pedro - World Cruise centre. I would like to know how to commute from the Downtown Hotel to San Pedro? Are there any public transit or metro line that runs on this route? Thanks! Thanks travelmaster for answering my question. I'll be staying at the Millennium Biltmore Hotel in downtown. As I'll be going with my mom and she cannot carry heavy luggage, that's why I want to know the best and inexpensive route to commute from LAX to the hotel. I heard from some forum that there's shuttle offering in LAX where they'll take you to the hotel and it's share ride. Is that expensive? Or else, maybe I can take the flyaway bus to the union station and take the cab? Would want to know which method is more economical. ---------------------------------------------- As for the San Pedro, the 445 direct express sounds good, is luggage allow on the bus? And around how long is the commute time? Thanks very much!!Thanks so much! I think I'll take the METRO EXPRESS LINE 445 to San Pedro , as I realized that the walking distance from the hotel to the closest bus stop (Flower & 7th St) is around 10 mins. walking time. However, I have doubts as to which stop I should take off in San Pedro which is closest to the World Cruise Center (Berth 93, San Pedro, CA 90731) and is it within walking distance? My boyfriend and I will be spending 5 days in Puerto Rico next month and would like to make the most out of our short vacation. Hello folks, I have put together a rough sketch of my itinerary for my trip through Italy. I'm going this March over spring break. I plan on visiting Rome and Italy. It's a little rushed, but I honestly am a little more fast-paced than most people, so I wouldn't mind being kind of rushed. I mainly want to make sure that the places I want to see are feasible to visit and in similar parts of town. Just a note: I cannot change the day that I land in Rome (Saturday at 18hr) or the day that I leave (Sunday at 4hr). I cannot change the location where I land. I'm aware that I'd save time if my flight schedule was different, but at this point I cannot change it. The flight and three nights in a Roman hostel are the only reservations that I have paid for though, so everything else is flexible. What do you think? Saturday: Land in Rome at 6 p.m., check into my hostel. Sunday: Cappuchin Crypt - Museum of Rome - Borghese Gallery - Appian Way - Travastere walk (North City Center of Rome) Monday: Colosseum, Forums, Palatine Hill, Pantheon. Pub crawl. Tuesday: Castel Sant'Angelo - Ponte Sant'Angelo - Catacombs of Priscilla Wednesday: Audience with the pope (I have a letter from the Vatican saying I can get tickets!), Sistine Chapel - St. Peter's basilica - Vatican museum -- At 22 pm--get on a train to to Venice Thursday 6 am Hop off the train at San Lucia, arrive in Venice 9 am Walk from St. Mark's Square to Frari Church (self-guided St. Marks to Rialto Walk chapter). Call it what you will, but I have a huge thing for Asian chicks, particularly Fobby (fresh off the boat from the Asia) Asian chicks in the U.S. They're simpy gorgeous: size 00 skinny, smooth skin, small firm breasts, tight flat butts, big brown eyes, long black hair, sweet angel faces! And they're even more attractive because of their modesty in their great looks -- it's such a turn on when I meet a shy Asian girl wearing baggy, unconventional clothes and discover because closed doors that she has an incredible model-quality body underneath! I'm a fairly good looking, well-endowed white guy, so I'd think that I'd be pretty attractive mate for these women, but I'm a little uncomfortable trying to hook up with them because of language and cultural differences. What can I do to facilitate meeting and hooking up with Fobby Asian girls? BTW, I live in San Francisco. BTW, I don't want to hear from any smart a*ses that I should see an Asian prostitute or go on an Asian sex tour! I'm serious with this question, and I think I could give these girls something in the bedroom they couldn't get in Asia (which will help them get used to American men!). There must be other guys on this site who similarly lust after these little goddesses, so let's hear from you!I've tricked no Asian girls? they seemed pretty into me and admitted that they had better sex with me than they could get in Asia. Looks like they won't want to be going back when they see how much more fun they have with white guys than Asian boys behind closed doors! I think the language barrier is a little tough. I can say a couple things in Asian, like "neehow maw" and "wow hun how," which is a nice conversation starter, but I can't say much more than that. The girls says that I have a good Asian accent, so I think that's ok, but vocabulary is my problem. Anyone know how hard it is to learn Asian? Half a billion gorgeous women in Asia... How can get more of them over? moreResolved Question: What is the best San Diego Harbor boat Tour?

Does he like me back? Or did I just miss him too much?
So on the Saturday January 30th I went to San Fransisco to see my good friend Nick's last show of his concert tour. I've known Nick for maybe a little over 3 years now. When I saw him we hugged and talked. Then after the concert was done we went to a little shop down in Berkley and were looking at retro clothes it was me, him, his band mates, crew, and our other friends. We were trying on these funky hats and I took a picture of us. He hugged me and all of a sudden I wanted to cry (i didn't let anyone see) it was just a tear or two. I figured that I just didn't realize how much I missed him at that point. So without thinking while he hugged me I gave him a kiss on the cheek. to my surprise he gave me one back (he is very conservative when it comes to that). Well the night was fun and everything because I got to hang out backstage and it was nice seeing him because I only see him maybe 3 times a year. But that Night when I got home I had a dream: Here was my Dream: It was basically what happened that day except he told me he loved me (we both love eachother like family but I mean like he said he was "in love" with me) I need help because he wants me to fly out and see him soon but I don't want to act different. I just want to know why I had this dream so i can get closure from it or consider other possiblities. All opinons are welcome! Thanks! moreResolved Question: I need a dream decode? Was it what happened that made me dream this?
I'd like to do some comparison shopping. We're looking for a good day trip tour out of San Francisco- preferably with hotel pickup, that will take us to Muir woods and wine tasting. moreResolved Question: need help finding art colleges?
So I'm trying to look into colleges that are friendly or specializing in arts [fine art to be exact], I have toured the Academy of Art University in San Francisco twice, but I feel like its all a sham, I've heard of people really liking it there, and others hating it and dropping out. So I was wondering what reputable arts colleges are there in the Los Angeles, San Francisco, or NYC area? Also, i am in an AVID class which helps set you up and prepare for college, and my teacher told me that art colleges are over priced and not worth it, is this true? thanks :) moreVoting Question: What is the best way to travel USA and Toronto in 4 Weeks?
My partner and I are getting married in September and want to have our Honeymoon in December for 4 weeks. I really want to travel the west LA, San Diego, San Fransisco, Vegas, a nice island or beach in the west if we have time and maybe Seattle if we can get a reasonable flight. My partner wants to travel the East, Boston, New York, Jersey, Philidelphia. His dream is to have christmas in new york so we are going to work around that. We are also considered having a couple of days in Hawaii but don't know what the weather is that time of the year. How far is it to travel from New York or Boston over the border to Toronto? I was thinking we could fly into LA (cheapest place to fly into from Aus) Spend a week and a half in the west, fly to new york a week before christmas and explore the east (and canada if time permits) Spend Christmas New York and then fly back LA, perhaps then to Hawaii or other island in the west for a couple of days, back to LA and travel to Vegas for New Year and then fly back to Australia from LA. I know it is alot to fit in 4 weeks but we really want to make the most of this trip as we have been wanting to travel to the US for so long. Unfortunately we can't get more than 4 weeks off work so we have to work with what we've got. Any suggestions for an itinerary? Should we be doing things like Contiki tours or doing it on our own? What is the best way to travel the West and East? Bus, Rail? We don't really want to drive. moreResolved Question: Any hotels/motels near UCSD?

I am going to San Francisco on a first date and it's going to be RAINING! Ideas for fun activities?
So I'm going on a first date with a guy and we are spending the day in San Francisco because he has never been there. Unfortunately it is going to be raining and windy, so we won't be able to walk around the city much or on the Golden Gate, or hike at Muir woods like we wanted to (we prefer outdoor activities). It looks like the Exploratorium is an option, and maybe a closed bus tour of the city, but what are some other ideas for other fun things to do? HELP!!!!!!!! Thanks!!!! moreResolved Question: Best way to do a tour of the USA? Have considered renting a car, Greyhound buses....?
Hi. Next year we are doing a three-month tour of the USA (as part of a round-the-world trip). We are from the UK. We are arriving into San Francisco and driving all the way across to Boston, Massachusetts. At first we considered renting an RV, but the cost was astronomical for that length of time. So then we downsized to a car, and this is also very expensive when you add in the one-way fees and fuel costs. So are current idea is the greyhound buses for most of the trip, with a car rental for one week for the old "route 66" bit between Flagstaff and Oklahoma City. Also there are several stretches on the Greyhound buses that are overnight, so we would save money on hotels for a few nights. What do you think of this method, what are the Greyhound buses like? Does anyone have any other ideas of how we might travel? Thanks! moreTop San Tour Links
