Open Question: What does this dream mean?

I was seeing through the eyes of a girl. I was in a tour bus with a couple of other people that seemed to be friends with the person I portrayed. We were driving along, just talking about what was happening. I noticed that me and my friends had talents (like super powers and stuff). I had telekinesis and my friends powers were something like teleporting, healing, and becoming reading minds. Half way through the dream, the sky began to grow dark and the concrete under the wheels disappeared. We sailed in the ocean and I didn't do anything. Up in the horizon tall, towering tornadoes kissed the sea. I remember that there were also innocent people on the bus. All of them were frightened and I could only watch. The tornadoes came closer and thought me and my friends had the powers to save the others, we didn't. We just sat there watching and waiting for the moment of death. As the huge column of wind tore at the end of the bus (where I was sitting at) I woke up. It may not mean anything, but I feel like it does. To me my dream is telling me that something is horribly wrong in my life and even if I could fix it, I don't. more

Voting Question: It's insane how late people are with musical news?

I've had two people tell me this week that Nine Inch Nails "broke up/stop touring" and that actually kind of angered me because they're obviously my favourite band an I saw them twice on their last tour so obviously I know. Seriously, Trent was talking about the NIN/JA and Wave Goodbye tour around this time last year. That actually reminds me, the second time I saw NIN on there last time in Canada I went with the tool/poser and he was talking while "Something I Can Never Have" was playing, and apparently he didn't know I was that into it. Yeah, while I'm seeing my favourite band on their last tour. You know what else isridiculouss? The Tool/Poser was one of the people telling me about NIN's last tour. Not only that but when "Terrible Lie" was playing he was singing so loud I couldn't hear Trent and the poser/tool was singing the wrong lyrics. your thoughts? Resolved Question: Are Tornado Chasing Tours Worth The Money It Cost For Tourist?

I am looking to do something that I have never done before on my vacation. My last vacation I went parasailing which was something that I had never did and it was a relaxing-rush if that makes any sense. But now, I want another rush. So I chosen storm chasing. I have researched Cloud 9 tours and others but I wonder if its worth the money that they are asking for? I am not a millionare or making a six figure salary, so I would be so angry if I paid all that money and all I saw was a nice hail storm lol - j/k. Anybody else have experience with storm chasing or have done a storm chasing tour? more

I'm an adrenaline junkie and avid adventurer. You know those HUGE 60-meter ocean swells you see in movies like The Perfect Storm and Pirates of the Caribbean? I'd like to be right there in the midst of it all. How would I go about finding a person or company crazy enough to deliberately sail out into a category 5 hurricane? I'd like to board their ship and experience that which you can only see in movies and paintings. I'm thinking of purchasing a 'pre-made' home. You know the kind that are sitting on a lot and you can go in and tour it and then they will take it out to your land... Well anyway since I live in tornado alley I really need to have a basement. Can you have a basement made to fit a premade home, and how much extra work is it going to be to make an entrance to the basement area?Sorry! Just to clarify I would like to know how much work it is going to be to make the basement accessible from inside the house since they are not made to have basements. Resolved Question: What does this dream mean?

I'm sure people ask these questions a lot but I need clarification. My first dream, that for some reason stuck with me, I had several summer's ago… It begins with me lying on a couch in an underground cellar. I wake up in the dream and there are people all around me talking and holding champagne glasses, there is obviously some sort of celebration but I'm never aware of what it is. I have this "feeling" that this cellar holds everyone I have ever met in my life. I leave the cellar, walking past people as they glance or say hello to me, going back to they previous conversations with others. I walk up a small set of stairs to open the cellar doors which lay on angle against the ground, it's much like the cellar's you find on the side of farmhouses that are used as outdoor pantries or for shelter from tornadoes. I find myself in a large field, and it's very stormy, the wind is almost intolerable, but this soon goes away and the weather is pleasant. I'm on some sort of island, with a large Victorian house - a heritage home of sorts – that happens to be haunted by ghosts, although they are friendly. The island is rather large with varying cliffs and the weather is constantly flip-flopping from stormy to pleasant. There is a foreboding forest that encircles most of the island and I find myself strangely drawn to it, yet it scares me for some reason. I discover a tour guide talking about the islands history as others follow her to a nearby cliff side that encircles part of the island. I follow her and listen, though not completely paying attention, and we come to a singular tree at the bottom of the cliff. It seems important, she emphasizes something about it I can't recall, and I jump from the cliff into the water. At first everything is fine and I am swimming, but I slowly get tired and sort of fall asleep, drowning in the process Then, I find myself back in the forest on a park bench with my cousin and her best friends, and we are all cutting ourselves and draining our blood into ornate terra cotta pots This dream was re-occurring – I had it about three or four times in the span of two weeks. I should probably note that whenever I do dream there is almost always a ravine, forest, lake or something nature related involved, especially forests and ravines. There is also a ravine behind my house in real life. So, what does it all mean? more

I have three This one was 2 days ago- I dreamed that I was on a school trip traveling across Canada. Only there was no bus, We had to go across Canada riding Blow-up bikes. We traveled in groups of 3 and I had like one of those wagon things with a person in it (I was pulling them) and then I got tired so he like took over. Only the guy in the wagon was the guy from the OC. He was really cute too :) and then as were riding through some random town my 5th grade teacher who was fat came riding on her blow up bike with like 60 kids following her. She laughed at me. This one was last night Me and my cousin were in Florida and we were going on this tour where you look at the weather. haha I no. First it got really really really hot. Then it started raining like litterly peeing cats and dogs :P, then there was an earthquake and me and my cousin are like sitting there like what the hell. The earthquake like ruinned the van so we had to get out. Then there was a tsiumi (like the big wave that ruinned everything in 2005) and then my daddy showed up in a mini-van and told us to get in and then he drove right into the tornado. It was crazier in my head :) ♥ The last one was a loooooooooooooooooooooooong time ago. I dream marchians (aliens) were having a fire in our van. They looked like ompa loopas. I have done a lot of stupid things in my life. I thought it would be a good idea to wear my favorite jean capris and a lacy peasant top to the outdoor concert Warped Tour. Four hundred pounds of secondhand-pot smoke, the contagious BO of adolescent boys stuck in jeans so tight they were second skins, and a minor disturbance in the form of a stormy tornado later, I would have sold my soul to the bearded man shrieking about the impending apocalypse by the Katy Perry Tent for a shower. Another brilliant thought? In the sixth grade I thought that the bucket was an underappreciated accessory. I began carrying a pink one instead of a backpack. It was all going good until a boy called me ugly and I hit him over the head. My bucket got taken away for fear I’d assault another small child with it. In hindsight, he was kind of right; tightly crimped hair that resembled a blonde fro probably wasn’t fashion-forward. Especially with thick, horn-rimmed glasses. But all of this stupidity pales in comparison with what I did about a month ago. more

Hey there, my husband is currently in Korea Area1, unacp. Tour so in the next few month we need to come up with 3 Choices where we would like to go! Currently we stationed at Ft.Sill OK and we truly want to leave this place ASAP...it sucks BAD...for the past 3 years over here we split our heads on what to do as a family and this is not the place we want to spend another year if we cant come up with 3 Choices. Well he is 13B so we are somewhat limited...he talked already with his RT Guy and he was like WELL LET ME KNOW WHERE U WANNA GO...and hubby was like okay i dont wanna put anything in where there are no slots open for my MOS or Rank and he was like WELL, but u gotta choose,..however long story short: 1st Choice is: Germany ( we were stationed there 5 years and loved it) 2nd: DUNNO 3rd: DUNNO We just want nice surroundings, low crime, outdoor activity and i dont mean hunting or fishing, and far away from Tornado Alley ....lol .. just a place where a family can be active and has option and somewhat open minded community... Resolved Question: All my children casting rumor Rebecca Budig? Soap tv?

What do you think about this. For awhile there have been rumors circulating that Rebecca Budig, a.k.a. Greenlee Smythe on "All My Children," will be leaving the show. Rebecca, who originated the role of Greenlee in 1999 and played her until 2006, returned in January of this year amidst much hoopla. A few weeks ago news started circulating that Rebecca would be leaving the show early next year. Rebecca and ABC have not jointly confirmed, nor has Rebecca spoken out, about it. Until now. "It's true," Rebecca said with a little bit of sadness. "I'll be leaving 'All My Children.'" When asked why, Rebecca explained, "Well, my life is in California (where she relocated after leaving "AMC" in '06). I had hoped it would be a lot easier than it was to live bi-coastally. But it's really tough -- our (she and husband Bob Guiney) life is enmeshed there. We put down roots there." We're totally bummed, but you've gotta respect Rebecca's decision to leave. Seriously, can you imagine trying to juggle a bicoastal life? Like, when my pharmacy moved uptown it gave me issues, so 3,000 miles is extreme. How much longer will she be in Pine Valley? "I'll be on until early spring. It's a really, really great exit. The story is amazing. Chuck has done some incredibly stuff so far [like the recent tornado]." Whew. We have a good number of months left with Rebecca. And the nice part is you have the opportunity to see Rebecca in person at Super Soap Weekend this year. "I'm really looking forward to Super Soap. This year is going to be really special. I think it's going to be the best yet, actually." That's not all. Rebecca has been just announced as one of the talent participating in the "Rock the Soap" event in March, which is part of the Soap Nation 2009 tour (think of it as a Super Soap's successor). It's a star-studded cruise filled with daytime stars. "That's going to be so much fun. Fans can sing Karaoke with me. I love Karaoke. I may not be able to sing well, but it's fun," she laughs. "Plus I like to rap. So people better be ready to get their rap on." On the possibility of coming back to the show, Rebecca said "Never say never. I really want to get back to NYC. I told Bob, I'm a New Yorker at heart." She added, "I'm going to miss everyone at 'All My Children'" They are seriously the best group of people. Everyone's there to put on a good show, you know? It's been so great to be back. I'm really also thankful for everything Brian [Frons, President ABC Daytime] and Julie [Carruthers, "AMC's" Executive Producer] have done for me." In Flames was great now is okay and ATG was great but just got back together for a tour. Sorry this thing took forever to type with one hand because i have had a nose bleed all day on and off. They just resheduled my date for the Honda Civic tour to the Masquerade Music park because the Tabernacle was hit by the tornado. Has anyone ever been here? I'm driving in from out of town the day of the show so what time would be good for me to get there so I can get some good spots to stand? Also, is it a fairly large place? As far as I've heard they had to combine the two shows they were playing for the same night, but from the picture I saw that it was pretty small. There's also another show in the Masquerade that same night. Will there be enough room for everyone and is it in a good enough place where I can stay with my best friend by myself while the others that are coming with us go drop our stuff off at the hotel. more

I know this may be a touchy subject for many...so if you post to this question please be respectful to folks that may have lost a loved one to a hurricane(s). I have never lived in a hurricane prone area until my husband went into the military in 1989 and his first duty station was in Hawaii. I am originally from KS. and have never been through a tornado, so I've felt pretty lucky about that until our last year of our tour. On Sep 11, 1992 a Hurricane named Iniki (E-Nee-Kee) was coming towards the island and I was terrified! But by the time my husband got home we could not leave to go to a shelter and had to take refuge in our home. The radio said Iniki was heading right toward our side of Oahu, until it vered off and continued it's path and damaged the island of Kaua'i the worst killing 6 people. Hurricane Iniki was scaled at a catagory 4 hurricane and struck just weeks after Hurricane Andrew affected the east coast of the US. more

Well, now she’s angry. She opens her purse and takes out the gun. But as she does so, she is overcome with grief and points the gun at her own head. The boyfriend yells, "No, honey, don’t do it." Resolved Question: Seriously, should Michelle Wie stick to LPGA until she wins a tournament or two?

Let's face facts ... right now Michelle Wie doesn't have what it takes to win in a PGA event. Yes she's extremely talented for her age and is going to come into her own like a tornado, but for right now it's unrealistic to think she can be competitive in the PGA. All she's doing is diminishing her accomplishments on the LPGA, where she's come close to victory (one 2nd place finish, 3 3rd place finishes and 1 4th place finish). Ever wonder why Anika Sorenstam doesn't dip into the PGA tour that often? Because to go 3 or more events without making the cut on the mens PGA would diminish her accomplishments on the LPGA. It's the same reason why the WNBA championship team will never play against their male counterparts. Michell Wie's manager, swing coach and manager need to point out the reality to her before she stumbles her way into disgrace. more
