Hey guys, i'll start by saying i really appreciate the help. I've just dealt with Microsofts customer service, and was really.. really unimpressed. So they're going to be repairing my system, or just replacing it. (i'll see when it gets here) Anyway, i'd like to sell it and get a PS3. My first thought was to take my whole package down to Gamestop, but i'm thinking their may be a better way to go about it. Ebay maybe? I honestly have no clue what it would all be worth. I know its no where near worth what i've paid, but probably worth more than the 2 bucks a game that a store offers. Here's what i've got Xbox 360 Arcade The Power cord (No AVI cables. They broke so i've been using HDMI. I will be staying in Salzburg, (not too sure where exactly yet). My tour offers a skiing excursion for around 80 Euro, however i'm looking around at prices and I'm seeing half-day or day passes for much cheaper. My question is, how much roughly would it cost (including equipment hire, transport, half-day/day pass, and possibly a lesson because i've never been skiing before) if I was to do it alone. If I find out this amount of money, I can ask my tour if their cost includes only the pass and transport or the whole package and make my decision to go it alone or not. I'm taking my 9 year old boys on a cruise in June and would like to know if anyone has gone on any of the shore excursions I'm about to mention. I've done a little research and even asked a very, well-traveled friend and he gave me the options offered by Carnival. I'm also looking into other options offered by a company called ShoreTrips. We are looking for recommended hotels from those who have ACTUALLY stayed in them, so please describe your experience and why you recommend it. (Or why you don't recommend it.) We've been googling like crazy and all we can find are horrifyingly expensive rates ($600 USD a night!!!) or very, very cheesy packages like those found at www.honeymoonthailand.com. Here is what we are looking for: (it doesn't have to have everything on the list) - $100 USD or LESS per night. - Honeymoon benefits (free massage, free breakfast, anything) - Intimate/quaint! Non-commercials hotels/inns/bed&breakfast are great if you can recommend. - Locations are negotiable since we want to see a lot of Thailand. Bangkok and Phuket for sure, even though they are so far from each other. Something in between might be nice. - 14 nights most likely, so any deals surrounding that are great too - Split nights between multiple hotels okay, if we can get some good recommendations - Private tours are a plus! - Pool or hot tub is a plus, but not required. - Airport pick-up/drop-off a plus. My wife and I are planning a 10 day trip to Costa Rica with our 18 month son. We have traveled but never done any of those packaged tours as we find them a bit restricting to what they want you to see and do. Most of what I see online for Costa Rica is referenced to packaged tours. Can one just buy air tickets, book hotels, rent a car, grab a good guide book (The New Key to Costa Rica) and be able to find canopy tours or other activities on their own once they arrive in Costa Rica? Or is it better to go with a packaged tour to ease the travel with an infant/toddler? We’d like to spend a few days each at Arenal, Monteverde and Caribbean coast (may be Limon/Tortuguero). more

Hi! I will be traveling to Hobart this coming weekend, and only have two full days in Tassie. I've never been to Tasmania before and will be going by myself, so I'm planning on joining a full-on packaged tour for the second day before I fly out because my flight into Tas comes in after most tour groups leave (800). I was planning on wandering Hobart on the first day, including the pub tour if it is available on a Sunday, but I haven't quite decided on which tour to go to for Monday. My flight out is at 930 pm, and the Freycinet tour ends at 7pm, the Mt Field and Port Arthur at 5pm. All three places sound really good to visit, but I can only pick one to go to. Which one is the best thing to see, for a first time visitor, that will showcase Tassie in a day? Please help! more
