Basically I got a call saying they would like to invite me down to London for a free photoshoot to see if I had what it takes and was comfortable infront of the camera. They just asked for a deposit of £50 to be sure that I turned up, this is fully refundable on the day. If Im successful then I can buy my photographs to build up a portfolio but you're not obliged to do this, you can walk away if you want I've seen lots of people complaining online that it's a scam because you have to pay for the photos, but is this a rip-off if you don't have to buy them? You could just have a fun day and a free photoshoot...they also said they'll give me the contact details of agencies so I can submit my photos What do you think? Worth travelling down to London for? I'm planning to get away from vancouver during the busy olympic season and make use of the free period during post secondary break. So being a student with a part-time job and on budget, Thailand sounded good to me. We were scammed by Philippines travel agency, Islands Accommodations Online Service Inc (www.islandsaccommodations.com). Agency employee received our money via Western Union and sent booking confirmation for our 3 nights vacation in Bohol, Philippines. Upon arrival to Bohol from United States we learned that the agency never booked the vacation. We had to scramble to find something on our own during peak christmas season. After continuous calls to the agency asking for our money back and false promises by them, we still have not gotten the money back. Be aware, this agency is a BIG SCAM! more

I've been working for my uncles travel agency fo about four months now. Ts a computer and phone job and I really don't feel like I'm doing anything there. If anything, I let him take peaceful smoke breaks when his partner isn't there and when he has to work at his other job, I'm a lot more time reliable than his partner. All I do all day is go on facebook an watch movies online. I really feel like dead weight and he still pays me $70 a week. Which isn't much on it's own but I work only from 10-230. Then i go to his house and babysit his kid for $40 a week for a total of about $100-120 a week. Now a mutual friend has asked that I babysit her baby boy on weekday mornings fo $30 a day 3-4 days a week. I really feel like I'm stealing his money and I almost feel embarrasedwhen I go in. I rarely make sales or have clients. I usually just have either busy work or no work at all or take messages when he and his partner are busy. but he's still always saying that he's proud of my commitment, I'm always on time and all ther. What should I do? I don't want to just say hell yeah and go with the babysitting. I would still be able to babysit his kid because I would work from 8-2pm and I need to be with my cousin by 3. I bought a ticket like 5 months ago. My destination was Peru with many stops. In one of the stops I had to saty in Panama for one night (14 hours) when I bought the ticket all the itineraries were like that. There was not warning or any info about having to get a visa for those tickets. yesterday me and my daughter were at the airport when found out that we couldnt flight becasue we didnt have visa to be in panama. I dont know why they put those itineraries when we just want to go to peru. I have tried to make the purchase at the airlines ticket counter to no avail. Many travel agencies uses the DEBIT card as a credit card. Or say they use the airlines ticket system. I need to enter my PIN to make the purchase. No online purchases can be made supposedly. It declines authorization. Its an International Maestro Card, a division of Master Card. Able to use it at ATM's. But to pay for a ticket know will put me over my weekly CASH limit. Only through a merchant do I have a higher limit. I am running out of options. i don't think cebu pacific have a real customer service especially online customer service. I purchased my ticket last time thru online but decided later to reschedule it. I wen't many times to their office in Iloilo and they're always offline. As expiration of my ticket is near i decided to reschedule online and then print the ticket. Thinking that it would be safe to double check it i requested a travel agency to help me confirm only to find out that my rescheduling online was unsuccessful hence, i was no show in the airport during my first schedule. I then ask the travel agency to help me but they contact cebu pacific unsuccesfully for several days. I also called cebu pacific call center phone number only to be transfered to different people and to be hung up in the phone for several times. It was really a nightmare dealing with cebu pacific. I could not imagine how such big company have a very lousy service. I also purchased ticket for my mother last august only to find out that the schedule that we booked was no longer availabe. In short they totally changed the schedule without even informing me thru email, phone and mail even though the details when i purchased the ticket was completely filled up. They provided a phone of their agent and when i called them they said i have to call to manila for rebooking. I know exactly how it is to call their call center service. It is really a nightmare!!! You call and then for 2 or 3 seconds the line will hang up and then you dial again and start again narrating your problem only that after few seconds the line will be cut off again and you need to redial again and narrate your problem again. I think the phone bill is more expensive that the price of the ticket. They provided email of their customer service (customerservice@cebupacificair.com) but you know what i sent more thans 10 emails already yet i haven't receive a single reply. I don't know but dealing with cebu pacific is more or not just a simple nightmare but it would really put your life in HELL! more
