Open Question: Should I test his love and intentions?

This guy says he loves me and I told him I love him. We are sooo into each other. We are planning to make love and more when we meet. We are so open and so similar in many things. Okay, we will meet in Arizona but we are coming from different states. He said he will have offs from work on December and he will go to AZ for a family gathering. I don't really mind spending money to travel for the one that I love but I want to make sure that I am not being used. It was a good idea at first, but now I have second thoughts....it seems unfair that I will meet him there and he's going there, he would meet his family and he would have me in the package as well. I am an old fashioned gal so I'd rather him visit me in my state of Texas so I don't have to spend for travel....then if I am sure that he is sincere with me, we can go any place even if I have to spend. So what do you think? Should I cancel our agreement and tell him I am not coming-----to test what he's gonna do? I fell in love with my first husband the first day I saw him and we lived together the next day and our love grew for the next years and never failed to say "I love you" to each other everyday in all those years but he died...so I mean, I have no terms or time fram in love but I want to know for sure with this guy.... Open Question: Does any one know of any ways to calm a dog down for a roadtrip?

My mom has a fox terrier and he normally isn't a nervous dog but every time we travel with him in the car he totally freaks out. We take a 6 hour trip to Texas every year for Christmas to see the family and that trip is nearing. Please please please share any healthy ways to help my moms dog relax on the trip and not stress out. I have heard about Rescue Remedy for pets....does that help? We let him ride up front and we make frequent stops. But that doesn't help. He just gets really bad anxeity when we stop anywhere. he shakes and whines. more

For the holidays I will be traveling from Florida to Texas. I want to bring along my Playstation 3 so my family and I have something to play with. In the past I had a slim Playstation 2 that was small enough to fit in my carry-on, but because the new system is considerably bigger, it must be placed in my suitcase. Here are some problems I face: Will it break if handled by airline staff? Will it be stolen? What measures should I take to ensure it safe travel? I heard wrapping the console in bubble-wrap lessens the risk for damage. more

Resolved Question: Travel Expenses related to child visitation...?

Until recently, I lived in Texas just 10 minutes from my son who lives with his mother. But, I was laid off and ended up finding work out of state. I already pay quite a bit in child support and have spent all my savings getting moved. So, money is pretty tight and I would like to get my son here with me for the holidays. Should my ex-wife be responsible to contribute to the cost of flying my son here, or could I at least reduce my child support payments to her to accommodate for the additional expense I will incur flying him here every couple of months? I can appreciate that you all may "assume" I'm some typical man who would like to pay as little as possible. That is not the case, however. I have always gone over and above the court ordered child support when my ex has needed help with her bills, within reason. I still expect her to be responsible with her money and not assume I will always bail her out. Now, some of you may have missed the fact that I did not "choose" to move away. I was laid-off after my company went bankrupt and spent 3 months searching locally for comparable employment. I would have rather stayed there, trust me. But, in order for me to be able to continue making child support, I had to get work which I could only find out of state. I exhausted nearly all of my savings paying child support (and my own bills for that matter) for 3 months without an income. Anyway, I was just asking the question, not looking to get jumped on by all of you... O.K. Not "all" of you. Just the first few. Hi I am in need of major help!! You see I was 15 yrs old who had a child at 15 and ended getting involved with a guy that was 8 yrs older the me ( he was 24) . No my parents were not aware of it and I was no longer residing with them @ that time. Anyhow we lasted for 16 yrs together. Which I am now 33 yrs old now. Through out my 16 yrs with him my relationship has been ROCKY. He has been verbally,physically,emotionally, & mentally abusive. There were several times I have tried to move on but end up back ... I came to realize it was all a pattern. I have two girls with him besides the one I had at age 15 . In Oct.1999 we purchased a home which he is in delinquency several thousand dollars behind as we speak . I know he is going to loose the home .. Which I can not afford a foreclosure on my credit...So what can I do on that? I am no longer with him I been away from him for 8 months now. Now my thing is I am ready to move on with my life but he can not get the picture . He harasses me @ work and tends to stock me . I now lost my job and my apt .. NOT THINKING WHAT HARM HE WAS DOING TO ME AND OUR CHILDREN!! Well since he was not occupying our home I went ahead and moved back in to try to get back on feet to move out again before he decides to come back !! He tends to travel a lot for work. During the time of harassing I would call the cops but they wouldn't do a thing for me . I even told my parents that if anything had happen to me to sue cause I was doing all I could.. for my safety. He even found out where I lived before I lost my apt. So My questions are what do I need to do . 1} I don't want anything to with the house I can not afford a foreclosure on my credit? Can I sign and have it notarize give up all my rights to clear away from it a.s.a.p? Also I was told I needed to file a divorce ? But we were never married, But we would file married /joint it was advice to me it was the proper way to do our taxes. Or could I just file single this coming tax season? Will it dissolve my relationship with him? Now He is paying me child support. I just want out a.s.a.p I have suffered enough with him and so have my children. Also my car is under both of our names what can I do to get him off my car note. Cause I asked the people that we are buying it from and she that I couldn't do anything til the car was paid off completely and then if he was willing to sign it over!! So what can I do..? more

o.k guys check this out! The other day I made bacon, like 5 days ago or so. I left the pan on the oven the rest of the day and at night I put it IN the oven, then the next morning (my daughter was home with me and I wanted to make us eggs. So, I was debating whether or not to make more bacon since I had eaten so much the day before then I figured, "either way, I still need the pan" So, I opened the oven, took it out and kinda freaked out! The bacon fat, (which was in solid form all the time except right after I had cooked the bacon) was what looked like, kinda "licked off" about 1/4th of the area that was originally there the last time I had seen. So I yelled at my daughter to come upstairs cuz i really was freaked out! Well she comes up and I show it to her and I ask her, "babe, check this out, did you do that?" She looks at me like all teens do when they think you've lost your marbles, and says sarcastically, "yeah sure mom I did that!" I tell her "no wait, hold on, for real, I put this in the oven last night and this is what is looks like now, come here, look at it, doesn't it look weird?" She says gross mom it looks like the the cat or dog was licking it off. I said, yeah I know right! but it was IN the oven! she shook her head and traveled back down stairs. Well, needless to say, I scraped the rest out into the trash, washed the pan with hot water and soap, got the other half of yesterdays raw bacon, cooked it and all was well. THEN, it was the holiday, so of course my daughter and I went out of the city to relatives, ate and she stayed there and I went to my b.f's house over night and now its tonight and I am home and the dirty pan caught my eye on the stove and I looked at it and took a double take and was shocked! The same markings were in the pan again!!! This time it was left outside on top of the oven so I'm examining it all up close and freaked out again and guys,,,,,, I REALLY want to know, WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK IT WAS??? Am I just trippn? I dont think so! Im not the type of person who sees, hears, or imagines stuff that isn't really there. You kno what I mean? Now let me give you just a little back ground about my place: Have you ever seen Bird on a Wire? Its with Goldie Hon (sp) and Mel Gibson (I think) and they are running away from??? any way, they rent this dive motel place to stay one night and while she is in the shower, she looks up at the shower head and this huge bug the size of an egg falls on her. Well any way, Its very very odd (I think) (cuz I grew up here in this state and I never saw those bugs here but had read about them and learned that they are a roach from texas or florida or something and sometimes they get so big they fly! Well like I said I did not think those were in my state but, they ARE cuz I have seen them around my house crawling around it out side and inside too but only in the basement, (or downstairs). Well any way, now that its winter, sometimes we might get a mouse or two but I have a cat and a mouser dog and I just dont think they make it too far around here cuz I have never SEEN any with my own eyes here at this house...... SO..... Im wondering,,,,, WHAT DO you guys think happened to the bacon grease that I left in the pan on those two separate occasions???? There are no tracks in or out of the pan and when you look at the pan up close, it does look like it could have even been finger prints kinda, or something but its so freaking gross, freaky, and ODD, I just cant believe it! I even started think'n "who's got a video recorder I can borrow so I can catch it in the act?" But there is no one. I want to melt down the rest of the fat that is left in the pan, let it get hard again and leave it there one more night after i kick my cat out for the night and check it again tomorrow but really, AM I just weirding out or what???? PLEASE AS STUPID or FUNNY or GROSS AS THIS MIGHT SOUND, try not to be too rude or anything and (please) tell me, what do you think it was or IS??? Thanks guys! I am currently a senior in high school. I will be enrolling in college this January (2009) at Texas Tech University. I plan on getting a degree in Computer Science, however I have a few questions: 1) I would like to freelance (travel and fulfill short-term contracts). What is the BEST work area in computers to freelance with (travel) and make good money ($300 + a day)? 2) If it is software engineering, should I pursue my Masters in Software Engineering or should I go for certifications? 3) If I get the degree(s) and/or certification(s) needed to freelance, is it very easy to find contracts right when you get out of college or do most of them want a lot of experience? I always want to witness their humble tradition and culture in my own eyes, to taste those SO popular ramen that everyone seems so crazy over, those insane print clubs(purikura xD) that everyone does all the hamming & CRAZY poses on the camera, AND offcourse ALL those vibrant women on kimonos... Ahh! Yeah babyyyy I'm IN LOVE... in JAPAN xD!. Well for me travel is like a romance and adventure rolled into one. There is something breathtaking about stepping onto a plane in a modern city of skyscrapers and freeways and stepping off mere hours later into a city of ancient cathedrals, narrow cobblestone roads, steamy crowded markets and tiny theaters. While I love a white sandy beach at an all-inclusive resort, the real adventure for me is exploring places that your average tourist passes up. Well I'm a selfish prick, A hot, pampered intellectual w/ a big dick and a witty tongue. I'm young enough to do it often and old enough to do it right. I don't have time for petty drama or emotional hysterics. I do what I want, when I want. I've build a lifestyle that allows me to experience some fantastic things. I've also been blessed to have had some great people in my life. If we compliment each other well, the possibilities are endless. This has been a fantastic year of self realization and growth. I love Las Pinas but do miss my friends back in the Philippines... hanging out in my best friend's back yard, throwing pillows at each other after tournaments of x-men games, listening to music, and talking about where we wanted our lives to take us... We hang out as 4 groups and we are inseparable --- there's a time where our teacher make the class group together to perform in stage on Christmas. We wrote our songs at my apartment(I'm the vocalist), I was so scared ~ back then since at that time I was very shy guy and NEVER perform in front of a crowd before w/ any activity but I still persist to join in since I'm together w/ my friend supporting me (and I like the part of the song where I bust the ball of my friend of having his mustache grow too much.) I remember stepping off the plane in New York and into the crazy pink and blue neon lights of Times Square reflecting off crowded rainy streets... and the exciting noises of the crowd everywhere. But what drive me crazy is trying to figure out a way to "sneak out" at night (I promise the girl I like back then I was going to buy her a really cool present) because I'm expecting my parents not to let me go outside since Times Square big enough people will tend to get lost BUT I can't afford NOT to buy one for her even if it means sneaking out the 50th floor hotel window using curtain as a rope to go to the hallway floor below. Fortunately I've been allowed to go out, I started the search right away for the princess, get bumped by the crowds then and there. Even though I'm w/ my sister, I almost still got lost because I keep running in every store I see. In the end I saw a gazillion souvenirs that I like and the next thing I know... I ended up buying souvenirs for the rest of my friends. xD Who I'd like to meet This Clyde is looking for a cute, fast & furious Bonnie to rob his savings back from those nasty Icelandic banks while our currency is still alive. I asked a question about a week ago, and have been going through different channels and still can't get a straight answer on this. My wife and child traveled home to Texas (from Germany) back in September while I was still deployed. When they returned in early October, she lost the passports. We reapplied after I got back from deployment in mid-October, but still haven't received them yet (I know, it takes 4-6 wks and maybe longer). Now, I've talked to the passport office here, border control back in Texas where we're planning to fly into, the state department, etc, and have gotten about ten different answers. I've been told that it's possible for them to fly with me on my DA 31 (leave form) with the proper identification, i.e. government issued photo ID, birth certificate for the infant, etc. Can anyone tell me if it's true that she can travel with me with proper ID without a passport to get back into the states? One more thing, we have a red cross message from my mother (who is pretty damned sickly) that she will be having surgery possibly next week, the Red Cross has verified the message and told us they were sending it to my chain of command. What I need to know is, will that be enough to get her and my child into the states for my leave? Im stressing because for Thanksgiving my hubby invited his family over because we just bought a new house.
