Open Question: My husband wont listen to me and always annoys me..?

ok, I have been married to my husban for 2 and half years now, known him for 3 yrs..he had no visa before the marriage so i helped him and sacrified a lot to apply for him the spouse visa while he stayed in his country waitiing for the court dicision, and i was pregnant by that time with his first son (second son for me) and after one year they accepted him and he came back 6 months after my birth, so yes he never attend my labour and have not seen me during my last semmester of my pregnancy. Anyway, this is not the problem, the problem is my husband, is very useless, lazy, and jobless he jump from one job to another....has very unstable mind and always needy, everytime he comes up with new ideas, one time he wants to travel to the us and work there, another time he wants to open a business (he doesnt even have the money to do that) but never does anything of what he says!!!! he's been wanting a new provisional license for the past 10 months and never did anything about it I realy dont know what to do!!!!!!! i always encourage him and stand behind him,i talk to him a lot and i even found jobs for him but nothing worked, he quit jobs easily giving excuses that the employers were bad to him and stuff like that, he has no education, also he is toooooo neeedy either tooo touchy and cuddly or rude he never compromise he shout, screams and verbally abuse!!!!!!???? he uses swearing when he is angry!!!??? he stays at home most of the times annoying and nagging about little thing!!!!?? uses the tv and never let me watch anything i like!!!!!??? but i also go out to avoid arguments cus we argue litrally everyday!!! well he start by nagging and talking loud and shout abou anything, when i tell him to stop raising his voice he does worse until i leave the house !!!!! am so tired he is irresponsible and act immature, although i know he loves me but thats cuz he is very needy person!!!! he loves to take more than give, but he always think that he gives more thantakes. I am not working at the moment as I am physicaly ill, and had back surgery 9 months ago, i get housing benefits, so he only pays elecricity bill every 3 months, we dnt even have bt and we both spend £30-£50 on grociries every 7-10 days and i spend on my boys more than he does from the saving i have since my last job and i get help from my family. Plz help me what should i do with him to make him realise his mistakes? I dont want to think of divorce now as i was already divorced once, i just want to try first and help him be responsible? Open Question: I want to teach English in Chengdu, China. I have some questions?

My senior year is coming up and I think I've pretty much decided on Chengdu to travel. At the very most I'd consider moving within Sichuan. Problem is I don't have friends who are familiar with Chengdu, they are all mostly northern. So I was wondering if anyone knew which schools had decent english teaching programs/internships? My main objective for going abroad is to reinforce my mandarin major and make connections to potentially assist my secondary objective which was to gain experience and knowledge connected to international business. I'm still a college student but I'm going to be a senior by the time of travel. I've got a split major of Business Management and Mandarin language. I'm aiming for fall and winter semesters. I'm looking for a place that can do 6 month or shorter contracts. I'd be open to teaching any age, though I have experience teaching children 5yrs and younger. A program/internship that offers a place to stay is required (or at least the means to get a place) A contract completion bonus for travel costs would be a plus but it's not required. And yup, there it is. Any help that could be offered would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.Misconceptions? Not really. I've done a fair share of investigation the topic and depending on where you teach there is a contract completion bonus in some cases. I heard net profit at about 50 million dollars each year. Mostly through travel agencies and local businesses. Are the Saudi "kings" making this sacred ritual...a booming profitable business for saudi economy? Hajj cost is ridiculously rising day by day. Each and every muslim around the world should think...am i spending my own hard earned money to fullfill my responsibility towards Allâh or to fully fill the pocket and for the lavish lifestyle of saudi people(specially the "royal" family)? Hajj pilgrimage is one of the five pillars of Islam. And of course it will cost money. But this hajj money certainly in no way should provide a saudi an extravagant lifestyle. Every year many hajis die because of stampede or fire or flood or any other disaster or accident. I think the money should only be spend for: ....only in construction and maintenance of religious site and structures, maintenance and safety of the hajj pilgrims. I think there should be a separation of religious tourism economy from the mainstream saudi economy. What do you think? more

Open Question: Nonimmigrant visa to US?

I am a Indian national with a multiple entry non immigrant visa of type B1/B2 valid till 2014 to visit USA. This was issued about 6 years ago when I was working for US based multinational company. I had held another 10 year multiple entry visa before that and obtained it while working for a Indian corporate. I have visited USA on business many times (7 or 8) using these. Every time I traveled I had a specific letter of invitation from my hosts for my visit. I have attained the age of 60 and retired from corporate service. I intend to undertake yet another visit to USA now. This will be primarily personal to spend some time with my Son. I expect my son to take care of me during my stay. What is the procedure to be followed? Should my son extend an invitation? Should I seek any prior permission in India before undertaking the travel? I am doing some freelance consulting now. I would like to take this opportunity to promote my consulting business among many potential customers in US. This is a marketing effort as an individual consultant. I have no specific customer identified yet. This is to be done after visiting USA. Since I have a B1/B2 visa can I indulge in such business promotion even if I am invited by my son for pleasure?George, Thanks for the fast response. I read somewhere that visa issued at the country of issue is not really permission to stay, and only I-94 issued in the port of entry is the valid permission. It also said when my employment status changes the visa validity may also change. Hence my query.Despite such a valid visa, my employers formally invited me every time I had to visit. Apparently this was to assure that they take responsibility for my expenses etc. To apply for a fresh visa such a invitation is normally sought. Multiple entry seems to be the reason for repeatedly asking for this support related evidence every time. more

Open Question: What should I do if my mom is having an affair?

So I feel like I've had this bottled up in me for the last 24 hours and I really just don't know what to do. I suspected for quite some time that my mom was having an affair, and today I figured out that I was completely right. In fact, I got home early and happened to catch her. So, she did tell me that she is having an affair, but that she's not ashamed of it and that she doesn't want to divorce my father because I do have a few much younger siblings who would probably be crushed by it. So for now, she's asking for my silence. There are a few things though: My dad works a lot and is probably gone for 90% of the time traveling abroad on business (for all I know he's also having an affair). My dad is pretty violent and I know my mom wouldn't want to instigate anything. My dad is pretty much the financial supporter of the family and I think another reason my mom doesn't want to divorce him is that because he works abroad, it would be pretty easy for him to 'hide' his money in an offshore account (I think he actually does have one). I think my dad would be humiliated by this if he ever found out. I know my parents aren't in love (they've confided this to me separately). I guess I just don't know what to do. I have so much that I need to be focusing on right now and this is just completely dominating my thoughts. I guess I can understand why my mom's having an affair and had suspected it, but now that it's actually been brought out and made real, I feel so crushed. I want my mom to be happy because my parents haven't been happy with each other for such a long time, but I feel like such an incredible burden has been placed on me. Open Question: I'm 29 and can't travel because of my mother's over protection?

So here's the deal, I'm 29, married with a new baby son. I live with my parents because my dad, who is 92 needs full time care. I work for the family business and make a great living (130k a year) I want to travel to ROme in November and my mother is giving me a guilt trip. When I first told her, she told me I have a new son and couldn't afford it, I proved that I could. Ah told me any money I had should go to my son, obviously that's silly, people enjoy themselves when they become parents. She then broke down and said she feared my getting on a plane, she feared me being in Europe with my wife and son, she fears everything basically. I know one answer will be "GROW SOME BALLS! Be a man and just go, you pussy." But that is not the case. Hell I could get up and go, sure, but I don't want to be a dick to my mom. I trip to ROme is not worth hurting her feelings by saying "Leave me alone I'm going." esp. when she's just concerned for me. Resolved Question: looking for a full irish weekend?

Hello, I'm travelling for business to the UK and decided to spend 1 weekend on Ireland, there is something that amaze me of this country and its culture. So I am going to be there from friday 6 pm until sunday 8 pm and if possible I want to have an experience of this country as full as I can and not waste a single minute. I decided to travel by my own and rent my own car so I can go wherever I want and not waiting for anyone, I already reserved the 2 nights on a good hostel in dublin. I am probably short on days to cover that many but that is what I got. I'd like to experience AUTHENTIC irish dance, music, pubs, beer, food, nature, people... I may say that what I am afraid is to run into places that are all touristic with a lot of publicity and all but are not that authentic, just what most tourist would prefer. I am from Mexico and I know since Mexico a touristic country some of the well known touristic places like Cancun are not the real deal just a Americanized-Europeanized Mexico if you know what I mean. With all these details explained comes the question to my irish friends and people who has the same admiration and amusement as I. Where do you recommend to go? My plan is to stay half or a little less of my time in doublin, the rest I can spend it by car I wanted to do something like go to Cliffs of Moher and in the road stay some time in one authentic town even if is not exactly on the way, kind of like that not that I will actually go to CoM, was just using an example. I've already checked webpages and they look nice and all, they always do but which places to choose? I may also note that I can go to sleep very late and wake up very early, as long as I can have more time to experience. and I dont care to drive long distances. Resolved Question: How much do hotel front desk clerks make?

I have an interview today and Im dreading the question "And what type of salary are you looking for?" Its for a front desk position at this very nice hotel, its not a chain but its waterfront and pretty upscale, just to give you an idea they offer each guest a complimentary bottle of wine upon their arrival and their rooms are really condominiums with 2 floors and they are not cheap. I'll have to travel about 20-25min. and pay for parking. I'll have my associates degree in business this spring and I have 2 years office experience yet no hotel experience. I've tried the different salary calculators online but the amount varies so much. Can anyone point me in a good direction? Thanks more

Dear Sir or Madam, I am Evelina and I come from Latvia and currently I am living in the UK. I graduated from the gymnasium last year. I have heard a lot about Scotland, its culture and traditions. Some of my friends, who study there, have told me many interesting things about this part of England. Having read some articles and heard some reviews from others, I decided that Scotland is the best option for me. Since I love geography and traveling, I would like to be in touch with English culture, its architecture, lifestyle, interesting people, and find myself there. I have always been interested in business, administration and IT. That is why I have chosen Scotland as a place where I can study it. And therefore, this is the best place for me to find myself in this sphere, because I am an enthusiastic, with a love of people and a determination to succeed. I imagine a career which is: fast moving, gives me the opportunity for rapid promotion, is logical and practical, provides the chance to work wherever I want.I have always enjoyed learning about business. I found it fascinating. So it is quite easy for me to talk about my career ambitions (business) and what I want to do (be employed in the field of business and IT). What concerns my traits, I suppose that I am very well prepared for business and administration. To my mind, a business background is an excellent way to a good career. I have took a gap year after school and moved to United Kingdom for understanding myself – what I really want to do in my life, to improve my English skills and gain some work and life experience ,to meet new people as well. When I was at school, I worked as a secretary in the office one of my summer holiday in Czech Republic and I liked that job more rather than my current job (general assistant at the hotel). I would like to mention my achievements in mathematics and drawing while I was at school. I am really good at problem-solving and figuring things out, at logic and analyses. I am engaged in plotting and drawing at school and also at the art school. And once, my figure has been noted at an exhibition in Macedonia. I am a good PC user (Excel, MS-Office) as well. I think, my decision to study this particular course, was affected by my father who worked both as a construction superintendent, and an engineer. He drew and designed a lot, work on the computer, communicated with people, and was responsible for many projects. I have always watched and listened carefully to how he did his job, and have learnt a lot from him. I think I got my drawing skills, my responsibility, my logical and analytical mind and the ability to come up with fast and right decisions, from my father. I played a lot of sports as a kid. This is where I have learned the values of teamwork, how to win, how to work hard, how to focus and concentrate, and how to find a balance between my time and priorities. And I suppose that the gained experience will be quite valuable for my future life and career. To sum up, I think to study abroad is an excellent way to broaden my horizons, to make new friends, to get not only theoretical but and practical knowledge. It is wonderful starting to communicate with international people and without recognition beginning to look at world a little bit differ. In my opinion, Scotland can provide a lot of opportunities for my future career. It’s the best place to study, live and work. Studying in Scotland would be a great experience for me. I am between a rock and a hard place. I have gone through a very serious financial season in my life, to the point of counting pennies just to put gas in my car. I have practically raised my two grandsons, my daughter works full time and I also take care of my mother who cannot cook for herself. I have taken upon me all this responsibility for over 5 years and it has taken a toll on my career and finances since I stopped traveling (work related) and working full time at my profession. I have been offered a business opportunity which will get me out of my financial chaos but it entails lots of hours and concentration. My grandsons are used to my caring and so is my mom and I just hate to just leave them and let another person take care of them. Should I sacrifice myself until my grandsons are grown, or should I go after my dream. I feel I am being selfish but my life right now is just my dedication to them without a future. Open Question: I have a husband thing... little confused ? and upset?

he travels all over the world .. round the year. i too go once for a "holiday" for 10-12 days. he goes to good places when on business but its stressing..like 1 day Chicago next day is grand rapids etc etc its been TEN years and iv been telling him to give me a chance to atleast go once with him ... but he never agrees ... he says its going to be to stressing for me . besides i said we can enjoy on weekends and he could extend 4 days extra and we can actually have a small holiday w/o specially going again on holiday. he does not agree . also its not fixed at what time of the year he goes ...at times its March ..or Dec or say May/ September . i again had an argument with him about it ... im just too tired of trying to convince him of things and convince myself of things .... i dunno how to deal with this . plz help. more

I'm 14 and a freshmen in highschool. All of my friends and everyone that I talk to already know what college they want to get into, what they want to do, and pretty much have their whole life planned out for them! I'll start by telling you a little about myself.. I have a 3.67 GPA, and my strong places in school are math, world history, and digital photo right now. I'm okay in English, I have a pretty bad teacher and my class is going to slow, and it's too late to switch out so I don't really know where I am compared to the other students. My weakest subject is science. I have only taken Physics and I got a B- in that class and a D- on my mid term. It's really the only class that I "suck" at. I haven't taken CHemistry or Biology get so I don't know how I am in those subjects. I have intrests in fish, not big ones, but ones that are in the sea. Like the colorful ones. PLEASE PLEASE give me suggestions. All I really want to do in life is travel, I love visiting places and writing a little about them so that I can always remember it. I don't know any "good" jobs that I can travel in. I was thinking about business, some sort of international business but I don't have a clue in that kind of stuff! I am one of those indecisive college students who is unsure of what they what to do with their life. As in, I'm still figuring out what I love. I recently worked at Starbucks for a part time job and I fell in love with "making the perfect drink" and identifying different coffee beans, the environment, the "regulars"... I also love love going to local places and drinking really amazing coffee...I think I want to major in some kind of international or cultural studies, and then go to business school (and culinary/coffee classes would be taken as well). I want to open my own small, local shop, and travel the world to select the perfect beans.. What can I do to reach this goal? I have a small in home party business.I am filing my taxes for this business and my accountant is telling me I am taking a business loss of around $3000. Is this a good thing or a bad thing? Resolved Question: What is the possibility of getting a temporary a canadian PR card while in another country?

My husband is a permanent resident in Canada, but he is outside of the country and has been for a few months now. His card has expired along with that his visa has expired as well. The canadians are aware with the fact his visa will expire during the process of getting a temporary PR card to travel back to Canada. But it's been 2 weeks, they said 6-10 business days. Still the canadians have given no response. Everything has been submitted. So even if they do give him the temporary PR card so that will he be able to travel with an expired visa? the canadians knew beforehand but are taking so long. will they even consider giving it to him? he is from south asia (nationality) but currently he is in another country. i'm assuming they just wanna give a hard time. of course if it was some european they'd give it in 2 days...michael c. u wont understand the frustration. u never went through that in ur entire life. when u have to wait, and u dont know if the answer is yes or no. when some1 else has control over u, and they decide and take as long as they want. more

At 40 I am making a caeer change but it is so hard to decide I have taken numerous career tests and they all come back to what I have done and burned out. my likes are travel, working by myself, My start time my dislikes are manual labor, being tied to the same spot all day everyday I am a restless person, I am likeable person.Office politics get on my nerves and the people are so fake. i can't do it anymore. In the manual labor field, people have no amition and try to one up everybody else and expect you to believe they slept with 10 girls the night before and smoked a pile of weed 3 feet high. You raise your hand to go to the restroom like a child. A buzzer rings when you stop and start work like robots. my history of employment includes- Air traffic controller (US Navy) after i got out I worked foundries and steel mills went to school for drafting all of these I did not like. Went back to school again for Computer science/technician did this for years working my way up the ranks doing field service repair to small to medium sized business networks. I moved on to Network Administrator to director of MIS. Career was going great I was the boss controlled 4 locations then September 11th happened the company I was at went out of business in the wake of this. A felony record of mine from years before for an assault popped only had probation never jail. This conviction never bothered me in the past, I had changed my ways and went to college in the mean time. Searching for employment I was turned down many times with my salary was to high I would never be happy at what they could give me, or the worst one my assault conviction. Seems I am blacklisted from working for anybody. So I decided to go get my CDL until things could change and I could support my family. I wrecked my semi and decided that wasnt the best career goal for me, so I decided to go back to information technology. no one was raising their hand to hire me so I started contracting and after about a year of this I found a good steady contract. I loved it!!! I did Field Service repair in Hospitals. The only downfall it was 24/7 work but I didnt mind I was paid extremely well. I got to travel some to take care of other territories for other workers. I did this job for a few years until the recession hit and my contract was cut. I went back to school again, this time for motorcycle repair. Year long school figured I could do it until the economy picked up. I didnt really like the motorcycle work and decided i would go back to IT again after graduation with an added skill of motorcycle repair so I could work on my own bike and maybe a few others for extra money. The day i graduated I had a heart attack, it was diagnosed as stress related so now I have to find something not hard work low stress and getting to travel some (field service fly somewhere fix a project fly home) preferrably a home office set my own schedule type of work. more
