Open Question: Resorts in South Africa with children's club?

Me and my husband are thinking of going on holiday to South Africa. We would fly into Cape Town and ideally not travel more than a few hundred kms from there once we've arrived. We are looking for resort style accomodation that has some sort of child care - such as a Children's Club or a creche so that we can have a few hours peace while we are away! I've been looking around accomodation online but it all seems to be posh hotels or self-catering villas. Does anyone know of any resorts which might be suitable? Thanks! Thanks Anyone Know. Please help. I'm not married a wet week and i am already screwing around. I'm 24 and come from a really poor background, think inner city council estates. My storys a bit of a fairlytail really. I worked as a lapdancer in a topless club. My current husband, son of a multi millionaire walked in. Aswell has having the t.ts, I have the face so we got chatting. We fell in love, i got whisked into the sunset and now live in a 10 bed sprawling country mansion. HOwever my husband travels to the middle east where they own several businesses so he is gone every second week at least. Hi everyone, Happy new years btw. First of all I will provide a little background information about myself; ok im 23 years old, come from the "land downunder", have a bachelor degree, good job etc. I guess im an ok looking guy, i like to take care of myself. Im clean, tidy, honest, caring, slightly shy but outgoing as well when i want to be. I dont smoke, i drink a little on occasion, not into clubbing but would rather go out and eat, see a movie, take a walk or anything realy! Im my spare time i like to be at the beach, i love the sand, sun and swimming, i surf, and body board in summer, snowboard in winter. I like cars, computers and technology and sports in general. One of my biggest passions right now is traveling, i recently returned home from the United States and Canada after almost 2 years traveling... in fact im planning on being back in America in May this year. Now my question is what am I doing wrong, like why can I not get a girl friend. Im a really nice, caring guy! I see couples out there sometimes see really nice girls out there with boy friends who are complete douche bags, I just don't get it. Why do nice guys finish last? I want to go to either UCSD or UCLA. I have a 4.0 gpa, have been class president for two years and I am involved with many clubs, like international club where we traveled to Australia and New Zealand. I am quite successful with volleyball and basketball. Two years in a row I have made 1st team all-star (I am only a junior) and in basketball I made athlete of the week in my county (which includes 16 different schools). I don't live in California; I live in New York...Will this affect my chances of getting accepted? Accepting all critique don't be shy. And this is for the "what interests you " part: I believe that ambition should drive a human being to his goal. I myself believe that and apply to what ever I have my mind set on. As a child my main goal was to be a tennis player. From a young age I would practice tennis 4-6 hours a week. Now I'm part of the USTA (United States Tennis Association) winning many tennis tournaments. As I grew and more responsibilities came, I set more goals for myself. I wanted to be part of our prestigious school soccer team and a soccer club. After 1 year of intense soccer practices and trainers I became part of the soccer team scoring several goals this season. I also was admitted into the soccer club know as “Vickings.” In order to be more physically fit I also decided to be part of “Tae Kwon Do.” This is a form a Korean Martial Arts. I did Tae Kwon Do for five to six years. During this time I Earned a Second Degree Black Belt, a belt that displays a high level fighter. Aside from obtaining better physical health I also obtained better self-discipline and better self-control. To be academically prominent, I have join many clubs such as an environmental club called "Global Care," I was part of Brain Busters where only the top 5 students in the grade can be part of, and lastly I'm part of "MI" (Multiple Intelligence) where we constantly work on new projects to test our math capacity. In MI we have done projects such as a scaled down model of the solar system, calculating our schools carbon foot-print, and recently started computer programming. Aside from that I also have a strong dedication to our musical program. I have been part of it for 5 years starting at 4th grade and continuing till now. I have always been interested with business. When I would visit my uncle, a business man, and hear of all the places that business took him and the variety of people he met I was astonished. Then I began to learn the about the stock market with my father. There my father taught me how he invests in the stock market and how the stock market works. Soon my father and I began to collaborate together on which stocks to invest in. Today my father and I nearly everyday talk about the economy and its crisis. Another interest of mine is world languages. I always thought of learning multiple languages as useful, especially in business. I believe that my interest in world languages would drive me to a better business career. I have been learning two foreign languages, Hindi and Spanish, for many years. Lastly, I find learning other cultures and exploring new places interesting. I feel that when I peruse a career in business I would be able to travel around the world and learn more about international culture. more

Open Question: what can I do now to combat my boredom?

I am not a well person, don't get out much due to health. I get bored so fast as not enough to do according to what I can manage. You can only watch so many movies,so much t.v., play so much on computer. I love scrapping, but cant get enough photos, I have taken up card making, but you can only do so many. I cant run a business as not well enough to work. I cant cook or do anything for others, I find it difficult enough doing my own chores. I sleep a lot due to pain and tiredness. Most people spend time with family, and all mine are overseas, and my friends can't always spend time with me as they have their own families. Some have moved away as well and I am not well enough to travel long distances to visit. I have no more room to start anything else so need things to do. I do not want to join clubs as not well enough. any suggestions please? I have even written stories for kids. I can not exercise as I get too exhausted just trying to get around with stiff legs that wont go. I hate being around people who do not have the same interest as me because they have nothing in common. I have 2 budgies, and an aquarium. I enjoy being on my own, but I do prefer to do things interesting. I would rather go out bush walking than reading, but I am not able to do that. The worst of it all is not one Dr can tell me why I have gone like this. I had two mechanical heart valves put in in 2005, and ever since then I have gone downhill. I used to walk everywhere once and I luved getting out, but I cannot do it any more. more

My Mum is running a travel club at her primary school next year, and she's looking for short (approximately 15-minute) videos of each country she's going to do, which are: France, Germany, USA, Italy, China, Spain, and India. I was wondering if anyone at all knows of videos for any of these countries either on YouTube or one that she could buy, e.g. off amazon or eBay. Resolved Question: How far would you drive for a garage sale?

We live about 7 miles out of town (from a large suburb, of a major city). Only a couple turns off of an interstate highway. I would like to have a garage sale this spring. The suburb we are near has a city-wide garage sale sponsored by the Lion's club every Mother's day weekend - people will travel from out of town to go to this thing. I plan to advertise in Craig's List. I'm hoping to get in the book that the Lions sell, but not sure if I can get in as I'm not actually a resident. I would include/advertise that we are getting rid of many baby items, including toys, clothes and "stuff" (like our bumbo seat, a baby swing, excersaucer, etc) Do you think people would drive for it? more

Voting Question: seeking female advice?

I've known this girl for almost 2 years now, but i would say in the past 6 months though she given me signs such as... - she calls my cell phone out of the blue - she really wants to know what im doing - she'll talk to me on the phone for hrs even if shes tired - shes asked me to go out with her for dinner/movie - she even said shes head over heels for me - gave me her facebook & msn password But here's the thing, the reason why nothing happened was 6months ago it was the summer. I was testing her to see if this wasn't a fling-thing because from the time she told me she liked me in June she mentioned her ex b/f til now. She still calls me, txts me, and says wants me to chill with her. But recently I went to buy her a christmas present and flowers so I could show her how much I did care for her but before I gave it she told me she loves him. Let me add by the way, this ex b/f physically hit her, raped her and treats her like ****. Why is it that girls are attracted to jerks! Resolved Question: Friends from Europe or those who have traveled there...?

I need some help...so earlier I put this question into the travel section but I find that non gay people can be sooooo....rude!!! (I'm generalizing, I realize that not all straight people are this way) Anyways, my New Year's resolution was to travel to England, France and Egypt this year but I have changed it and this is what I am sticking to. I am going to travel to England, Scotland and Ireland! I am fascinated by the culture, the people and their way of life compared to ours here in America. For me, since I was very very little...like 4, I used to tell my mom, "When I grow up I'm going to move to England and marry an English person and live happily ever after" Well despite the marrying and happily ever afters, I still have this insane passion for England. When I see movies that are filmed there or hear an English accent I literally get goose bumps. It feels so very familiar regardless if I have ever been or not. I know I am completely off the subject...so here is my question. In England, Scotland and Ireland where are some really great places to go? What kind of things could I do with or without my 8 and 6 year old children? I am NOT a club kind of girl, I am more a person who loves scenery and architecture. I love to get hands on in a community, trying new foods, looking in local boutiques and things of that nature! I am a picture freak so taking photos and having great photo opps would be fantastic. I love land marks and historical markers as well. If anyone has the time, I would really appreciate any advice. Thanks a bunch :) ohhh also just a side note, does anyone else love accents? I feel like I must annoy the hell out of Non Americans! LOL....I met this guy once doing a March of Dimes walk. My New Years resolution this year is to mainly travel to England. It is a place that I have always wanted to go but for one reason or another I have put it off. I think English people are fascinating and could honestly listen to them talk all day...I love their accent. I also would love to see Ireland and Scotland while I am out and about! So due to the lack of that stamp which i did not procure from AKC registrar we have thus been held hostage at the Bali International Airport in our attempt to spend our holiday with my husband in Cameroon by the custom officials because of the lack of the stamp from the Kennel registrar. I have been told that the puppy cant enter Cameroon unless i present the AKC stamp from the American Kennel Club Registrar.It thus mean that if i have to do all this,i will have to go back to the USA and that will mean a lot of money. So i have been given 2 options either to repatriate the puppy back to USA,OR he will be qurantined here in Cameroon.it sounds so disturbing hearing that our much cherished baby await to be quarantined. I'm a 16-year- old junior from Texas. I'm homeschooled but have taken 4 classes at my local community college and will take 12 next year. I hope to take 5 ap tests this summer. I have not taken any subject tests yet but I plan to take some this Spring. I have a 2250 on the SAT (I just got my scores back). I have a 4.0 GPA from my co-op (where a lot of homeschoolers come together to learn from homeschool moms who are educated on the subject they teach) and a 4.0 from the community college, having taken arabic 1 & 2, algebra, and US history. I got a 214 on the PSAT so I might also be a national merit scholar. I'm in the homeschool national honor society (Eta Sigma Aplha) and I hope to become the Community Service Organizer. I'm trying to earn the congressional bronze medal. I am the co-president of my debate team and mentor newbie debaters. I also am a regional champion in debate. I participate in the Model UN, specifically the Harvard Model UN and the Texas Model UN, as the president of the homeschool UN club. I participate in boy scouts and hope to get eagle. I have been a scribe and a patrol leader, having won best booth in show at a scout show and wining the national honor patrol award and the troop honor patrol award. I play varsity tennis. I am the editor of my troop's newsletter. I am in my church's choir and am president of the boy's choir. I am the founder and editor of my co-ops yearbook with around 200 kids. I am also the president of my co-ops model congress club. During the summer, I participate in debate camp, boy scout camp, my church's vbs, and i travel alot, usually to egypt to immerse myself in arabic. Do they all travel to space at a young age? do most have club and hoods? are the americans really cheerful? I watched high school musical and spiderman an it showed me only the good side of america. is this the real america or the media just lies? Is america totally safe or what even is america? is it just only texas, washinton,california or are there more?
