Open Question: To all you TWILIGHT fans!!!!?
if you have not read all four of the Twilight Sega Books i strongly recommend that you not read any longer because the question is tremendously revealing...... . . . . . . . . Okay, so here's the deal... I have read Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, and i am 3/4 done with Breaking Dawn! (almost done; YaY!) Anyway, I personally don't appeal to Jacob Black in the slightest...not even close to how i do I do to Edward Cullin (by the way, NOT AN OBSESSION!). I feel that Jacob is quite the obnoxious little Werewolf. The fact that he imprinted on Bella and Edward's daughter, Renesmee recently after putting Bella through so much agony, forcing her to betray Edward; when he kissed her, and being so quick to assume that she was turning into a "monster" as well as being the one of the two to blame for taking part in the creation of one, after all she's done for him...the many times she has sacrificed her well being and happiness to make sure that he had a smile on his face even after his rejection to any friendship with her while her beloved "bloodsucker" was present...numerous times causing her agonizing pain, and still he dares to claim one of the many things that were part of her life that he Absolutely disgusted! Ugh! That! That truly disgusting fact just adds more to that feeling of of "disgust" that I have for him. I apologize for my intolerance for his character's behavior. Anyway, my question is this...; -could you please write the name of the the character you favor the most (Edward-or-Jacob) and explain yourself, i swear I will not judge...this is actually more of an experimental survey rather than a simple question... if you feel as i do or even just a little, please express yourself! in your answer try not to reveal past the part where Irana returns and spots Jacob, Bella, and Renesmee in the clearing for a hunting trip; (chapter: 27. Travel Pass) thanks! moreOpen Question: Isn't Clinton's body count creepy?
Clinton Corpse Collection I've investigated a lot of crimes over the last 32 years, including murders. Any criminal investigator with the slightest bit of experience and training could easily see (and most have seen) the many flaws, holes and gaps in the so-called Vince Foster "murder" investigation by, of all the federal law enforcement agencies, the Park Police. But, when one does a little more checking into the past of Bill and Hillary Clinton, they will find a long path of former friends, associates and business partners of the Clinton's who have died young and under mysterious circumstances. The following is a partial list of those whose blood cries out for justice. Kevin Ives and Don Henry: Died August 1987. Reportedly, they had stumbled upon the Arkansas Mena Drug Operation (many stories and articles have been written about Clinton's affiliation with the Mena Mafia) It was first reported that these two young boys died as a result of falling asleep on a railroad track. It was later revealed that Ives had received a crushed skull prior to being placed on the tracks and Henry had been stabbed to death. The following 7 deaths were all of people who reportedly had knowledge and information concerning the mysterious, unsolved murders of Kevin Ives and Don Henry: Keith Coney:died July 1988 from injuries sustained from a motorcycle accident. Some reports indicated that he was being chased by an unidentified vehicle. Keith McKaskle: died Nov. 1988 from multiple stab wounds Greg Collins: died Jan. 1989 from a gunshot wound to the head. No suspect was ever found. Jeff Rhodes: died April 1989 from a gunshot wound to the head. His body was burned and thrown in a dumpster. James Milam: died 1989. His death was ruled as being from natural causes, until his head was later recovered from a trash bin! Richard Winters: died July 1990 from injuries sustained during a robbery attempt. He was a suspect in the death of Kevin Ives and Don Henry. Some reports claim the robbery was only a setup. Jordan Kettleson: died June 1990. He died from gunshot wounds and was found sitting in his truck. Suzanne Coleman: died when Clinton served as Arkansas Attorney General. She was alleged to have been "romantically" involved with Clinton. Although she died from a gunshot to the back of her head, the death was ruled a suicide! She was pregnant at the time of her death. Alan Sandorf:died 1991. Sandorf was an employee of NSA (National Security Agency). He was reportedly providing info. to Danny Casolaro, who was an independent reporter investigating the INSLAW case (INSLAW involved Justice Dept. theft, cover-ups, missing records, fraud and gov. corruption of all sorts) Sandorf's body was found in the back seat of a car at the Washington National Airport. Dennis Eisman: shot to death in 1991. Eisman was an attorney, who was also working on the INSLAW case. Danny Casolaro: found dead in a Virginia motel room in 1992. His arms had been slashed multiple times. Casolaro was an independent investigative reporter who had extensive files and information on the INSLAW case against the Justice Dept. and other "high ranking" government officials. Even though his body was found, his files and documentations were said to have never been located! Victor Raiser II: died in 1992 from an unexplained airplane crash. He was co-chairman of the "Clinton for President" campaign. Montgomery Raiser, his son, also involved with the Clinton campaign was killed in the plane crash with his father and 5 other people. Ian Spiro: died in 1992. His wife and 3 children were found murdered in their home. They had been shot to death (execution style) Several days later Spiro's body was found in the Borego Desert. His autopsy revealed the cause of death as cyanide poisoning. He held files and evidence to produce before a grand jury in the INSLAW proceedings. Paul Tully: died 1992 from unknown causes. His body was found in a motel room in Little Rock Arkansas. He was supposedly one of Clinton's closest friends, and served as the National Democratic Committee Chairman. Jim Wilhite: died 1992 in a one person skiing accident. Wilhite had close ties to Clinton and was a former associate of Mack Mclarty (long time friend and counselor of Bill Clinton) Paula Gober: died 1992 from an unwitnessed one car accident. She traveled with Clinton and was his speech interpreter for the deaf for 4 years. Paul Wilcher: died 1993 from an "undetermined cause". He was a Washington attorney, who was investigating gov. corruption in the Mena Arkansas drug running organization and the BATF assault in the Waco ordeal. He had turned in a lengthy affidavit to Janet Reno only 3 weeks prior to his mysterious death! His body was found in a Washington apartment. His reports and documents have never been released. Robert Williams, Todd McKeehan, Conway LeBleau and Steve Willis: all died in 1993 from identical gunshot wounds to their left temples. They were the only Oh, Bush has one too. I am writing an article for Journalism where I compare slang from my high school in Syracuse to other areas of NY, the US, and other countries. She abandoned me 22 years ago on a train because she thought it was for the best. She travelled for two weeks to leave me in a good country which turned out to be the UK. She abandoned me on a train and only left with a letter and apparently an ear infection - it hadn't been seen to for a while and it's left me partly deaf in one ear. Today I got a letter off her because I've been looking for her. She's back in Iraq and she wants to meet me as she is seeking to live in the UK permanently. In her letter she said she doesn't want me to be angry with her that she left me. She's also expecting me to be Muslim, wear the Hajib even though when I wrote to her I told her I wasn't religious, I'm not a muslim and I don't wear a hajib and that she probably wouldn't accept my fiance. I want to meet her when she comes to England but do I have the right to be angry with her? Because she abandoned me and because she didn't get help before she abandoned I've been left partly deaf in one ear, I don't even know my actual date of birth. The date of birth I know is the date I was found. I was her third child. She gave me up because she didn't love me at the time. I apparently have a twin I never knew about as well and she kept my twin but not me. moreOpen Question: a confused kid's rant.. life, what the hell? ?
i realize this isn't really a question, but rather somewhat of a therapeuticc release for me. if you feel the urge to respond or even read the whole thing feel free, but i expect nothing. what are my ambitions in life? do i want to become a successful adult, making oodles of money at a job that i absolutely, fully enjoy? yes. do i want to not be slave to salary and truly find and accept myself for who i am without the influences of modern society molding me? yes. do i want to find a good guy who is "man-thick," not fat but "man-thick" who i can fall completely in love with and start a beautiful family and have little boys that i can teach how to be excellent basketball players? yes. do i want to break away from the evil curse of laziness that i suffer from and do something amazing with my life, create memories, have something to look back on and be proud of? yes. do i want to make something more of my existence and not be one of those persons that i always despised who looks back at high school as the glory days? yes. i want to do all these things, but how will i ever accomplish this? these goals are so lofty and seemingly unreachable. how will i find that perfect man who will accept me and love me? how do i make all the easy money fast so that i can travel and enjoy it now, when i am young? i have no idea. its apparent that there can be small steps made that will lead me in the direction that i want to go, but am i even sure of the direction that i want to follow? not at all. i simply want life to feel like it can be something more that just 80 years of merely existing and having really no significant impact on the world around me. i have completely no idea how to satisfy this never-ending urge i have. to create, to change, to learn, to be. do others suffer this ailment or am i in the minority. i understand that this stage in my life is the appropriate time to be thinking about these things and to be ultimately and utterly confused. i am not a patient person. i want life to be figured out for me now. i feel as if there isn't enough time to get anything done and therefore nothing gets done. i hear stories and watch movies of people who have had numerous life experiences, have lived in several states, have found there way and reached the destination. they have worked in the fertile fields plowing hay, they have taken crazy, spontaneous road trips across the country, they have lived with the longhorns in texas, they have spent months backpacking across a foreign land. i want to be one of those. i want to just pick up and go. meet someone new. make lasting friends. move to india. but this will inevitably never happen. i am not brave enough to leave the comfort of my life now. i mean, i have liked the same guy since the third grade and have done nothing about it. what does that say about me? i went to college after high school and i couldn't even survive a year in a city, not even a big city, just an average, small city. i made no friends. i had to lie to everyone because that is not supposed to be me. i am supposed to be the one that can jump right in and get along with people and continue to flourish and succeed. but people don't understand who i really am. i am a dancing queen, an all-star basketball player, a brain, polite. but what else do people see in me. at first glance they are hesitant. is he... no wait she! but why? lesbian? no, i am not a lesbian. i suppose it is the true reflection of who i am. a chicken. lots of girls go through the tomboy stage, most grow out of it. but i was too afraid to change. afraid of what others would think or would say. i was good at hanging with the boys, playing football, and i liked doing those things, but i also like girl talk and gossiping. i even feel embarrassed to have written that because the reputation i currently uphold does not portray that. but because of the other half of me, girls typically don't let me into that circle. sure, i have some really great friends on the basketball team who have really accepted me and invited me in, and i am extremely grateful and love to hang out with them, but where will they be in two years? it feels good to get this out. moreOpen Question: 2. x2-18x-144 3. 3x(x-5)(3x+5) 4. x2+12x+27 5. Few months ago I purchased Netgear ReadyNAS Duo as for my home web server so that I can share photos and videos clips with my sisters who are living in different states. I have just learned how to write some simple web pages and setup my first web server for access. When I try to access my web pages locally (within the same city), I can see everything correctly; web pages/photos/video clips all show up fast. Until last Christmas when I traveled to adjacent state to visit one of my sisters, I tried to access my web pages and found out that all my photos/video clips are taking forever to load. I understand server-client distance is longer now so is there any way I can improve the performance so that my sisters (from different states) can see the photos/videos? How come other web servers (such as Flickr/YouTube) can host photos/videos (with larger file size and longer distance) without performance problem like I do? Actually I have 10m/2m (down/up) speed (tested) with Verizon Fios internet connection so i think my internet speed is not a problem. In addition, i already tested web pages/photos/video clips locally so there is no problem on the hardware side either. I am just wondering why my photos/video clips can not travel longer distance. moreOpen Question: why am i so angry all the time please help me?

Elijah was lifted up [ as the birds fly or as in a modern day helicopter ], and was taken to a safe place, he had to be able to write, as the king got a letter from him 4 years later, after he was taken up, 2Chr.21:5,12-18. I just can not rule out that Elijah had to have recorded [ in writing ], what he and Elisha did, as I can't figure who else could have done it, does any one else share this point of view? For those that think Elijah or Enoch went to heaven, John 3:13-15, does not agree, and the fact that none are raised up until Satan has a short time down [ in the time of the end with Michael ], and unholy angels with him, under their feet, Rom.16:20, John 6:39,40,44, 14:3 [ with Satan and unholy angels down a place is prepared Heb.1:1-13 enemies down ]; Michael gives Satan his time down Rev.12:7-12 [ Dan. 12:1-13 ]; Michael is there to the last 1Thes.4:15-17. So Elijah lifted up was not to go to heaven, for if he did, Elisha [ with a double portion of spirit ], should have gone to heaven also, 2 Ki.13:20,21; Matt.27:27:52 And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose, 27:53 And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many. THESE DID NOT GO TO HEAVEN BUT LIKE LAZARUS THEY MAY HAVE BEEN AT PENTECOST TO REVEIVE THE ANOINTING TO GO WHEN THE TIME COMES TO GO DURING SATAN SHORT TIME DOWN IN THE TIME OF THE END WITH MICHAEL. moreOpen Question: Ideas for a Travel Essay?

I was pretty surprised to see sooo many of the people, Christian people, make the assumption that the Quran is actually quoted of made up from the Bible. I think it's clear and in no need of further discussion that the Bible has been written and rewritten and rewritten. Whereas the Quran has stayed, miraculously, in its original text. However I have come across many people still posting this like this, and have come across many article by Professor Dr. Ibrahim Khalil http://www.streetdirectory.com/travel_guide/45979/bodybuilding/what_does_break_a_bone_in_bible_versus_quran.html and for more... http://www.streetdirectory.com/travel_guide/main/hobbies_interests/cat/religion/ can anyone still say that the Quran has been taken from the Bible? There is clear evidence that the Quran is the Truth from God. Has anyone ever tried to INTELLIGENTLY prove vice versa? LOL, first I'd like to know if ANYone has actually read the links and all of my question.... =The Cynic__ Agreed; some verses dunno. However the 'people' mentioned in both scriptures can be said as identical, however stories themselves are little off when compared. TO answer your qs; If he could not protect them, how can he protect the quran? It's known that first came the Torah, then the Bible. Now ofcourse God knows all, He is All-Knowing, All-Wise. So He intrusted the previous scripts to the rabbis and preist to preserve it. However, it's clear they've failed since there are different Bibles used by many Christians, and it's like they're competing to get the latest edition out... The Prophet Jesus (AS) and Moses (AS) received many miracles along with their scripts. The Prophet Muhammed (PBUH) did receive some miracles but the greatest one was the Quran. That which God Himself declares to preserve this text for all of mankind. =Jim___ I am not quite sure to whom you are referring to but FYI, the Muslims Holy Book is the Quran, revealed from God to the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) by the Angel Gabriel (AS). "He was raised illiterate, unable to read or write, and remained so till his death. His people, before his mission as a prophet, were ignorant of science and most of them were illiterate. As he grew up, he became known to be truthful, honest, trustworthy, generous, and sincere. He was so trustworthy that they called him the Trustworthy. " "Waraqah ibn Nawfal was a Christian living in Mecca, and had knowledge of the the previous scriptures. When told of Muhammad's first revelation (when he received the first five verses of surat Al-Alaq), he immediately recognised him as a prophet." =Sisyphus___ here is a very detailed article concerning your comment http://www.islam-guide.com/bqs/16creation.htm#The%20Six%20Periods%20of%20the%20Creation so in the quran it's 'ayyam' which is actually periods not days =Derik __ I wont say much to you... I think we've all played that game in elementary school. We all sit in a circle and one person starts, whispers a sentence in to the next guys ear, like oh, I saw a cool new game out yesterday, and by the time it gets through 20 kids ears and comes back to him it's something more like, Ice cream cones are cooler than that day. I'll take the Ramayana example; Pretty close to what happened with the Bible. There is an original out there, but look how many versions they made out of it now... =Mystery__ You lack to understand definition of INTELLIGENT. You didn't mention one proof, rather you've added more fairy tales... No the Quran wasn't assembled straight away. Rather the revelations continued for twenty-three years. The compilation of the Quran is a whole other story, the first complete text was compiled during the Caliphate of Abu Bakr: (Sahih Al-Bukhari, Volume 6, Book 60, Number 201) btw for those who are Einstein lovers, http://www.miracles http://www.miraclesofthequran.com/scientific_33.html =God's Hitman__ i spent a good time thinking whether or not i should even comment on your post... You've ranted on, proving yourself wrong and (sorry) ignorant... =prince_2b_princess__ I never said anything about the torah. I think everyone knows it came before the bible (duh). Otherwise your statement (if one can call it that) is rather disappointing to the whole INTELLIGENTLY word i used... nationaldrivee i ignored all the arrogant remarks until 'but since you said "intelligently"' 1. God didn't write the Quran, He revealed it to His chosen Messenager, Muhammad (PBUH) by his angel Gabriel. 2. Lol, seriously if anyone gave you a picture with god holding the Quran or whatever silly request you made, do you seriously think you would believe it was god? Grow up, get a brain, learn to use it, then MAKE INTELLIGENT REMARKS. *how can an illiterate man have knowledge of the unseen? http://www.mohammad-pbuh.com/3/unseen.htm =bluetightsman20___ Good, actually i think your the first intelligent one whose ACTUALLY somewhat answered my question!!! Ha, looks like best answer so far... - though questionable whether or not you read links, all of it... anyway; Thanks for your input. = * * SkepDoc 2.0 and bluetightsman20 and others i guess only have this one point of needing proof that it's "Truth from God" How many proofs will be enough? What will satisfy your question? What proof are you looking for? Again i ask you to read the links i sent and if still nothing please e-mail me and perhaps i can try to help you out =agreed witnessofJesus___ If all the trees on earth were pens, and the ocean (were ink), replenished by seven more oceans, (the writing of) Allah's words would not be exhausted; surely Allah is Mighty, Wise.(Chapter 31,"Luqman", 26) Tell them: "If the ocean were ink with which to write the Words of my Lord, the ocean would surely be consumed before the words of my Lord are finished, even if We bought similar quantity to replenish it.(Chapter 18, "The Cave", 109) I think we can both agree this is the Truth =Maurog II___ I've read some of your comment and again all it PROVES is that christians really BELIEVE the Quran came from the Bible... again please, read my links (as i've done yours)! Just because (as we've mentioned earlier) there are same 'people' or characters or whatever you wish to refer to them as, doesn't mean that they came after another. * Perhaps * it means these actually did occur and this is the same God retelling the story to mankind because 1. Muhammad (PBUH) was illiterate, as most Arabs at that time (again please read the addition remarks i made up there) 2. Previous scriptures already 'edit' the stories ~_-_-_~ also look at http://bible.islamicweb.com/ What All Christians and Jews MUST Know About the Bible ah =djmantx__ Read these, do you agree or not? http://www.godandscience.org/apologetics/bibleorg.html http://www.godandscience.org/apologetics/bibleorigin.html These are two links that PROVE the Bible has been written and retranslated and translated again. WE ALL know that when something keeps getting translated from one language to another, (ie. Hebrew & Aramaic to Greek to Old Latin to Syriac to etc... actually first ENGLISH translation was in 1380 AD... SO since (say Dead Sea Scrolls) 200 BC-70 AD or do wish for more recent?! :p AND let's face it... the more versions that come out, the more you've either added or taken away... Face it, common sense! As for your comment on the Qur'an being assembled after the death, that's already well-known and I've already mentioned that in the ADDITIONAL INFO for Mystery. If you'd like I can provide for you the hadith and tell you how it was put together. More links http://www.islamreligion.com/category/123/ (cont.) http://www.islamreligion.com/articles/18/ http://www.albalagh.net/kids/history/quran_compilation.shtml "He followed four steps. 1.First he verified the verse with his own memory. 2.Sayyidna Umar, Radi-Allahu anhu, who was a Hafiz, was also in charge of the project and he verified it, too. 3.Then, before the verse could be accepted, the two reliable witnesses had to testify that it was written in the presence of Prophet Muhammad Sall-Allahu alayhi wa sallam. 4.After that, written verses were collated with the collections of different Companions. Assuming those, it's understandable that if they did find any Quran after that that didn't match the true orignal ones, they would destroy it in order to preserve the originals. (BTW the Quran (Word of God) should not be trashed, either shredded or burned.) "Your Qu'ran itself testifies to the Bible as uncorrupted so if the Bible was corrupt the Qu'ran would be a lie." The Scripture that God revealed to Jesus, Injeel, is uncorrupted. However we've already established this no longer exists!!! "No Indeed the Qu'ran is not from the Bible." All you had to say =) Wonder will you still stick with that edit, or really expecting me to comment on that... =Sinnner___ (hope that's actually not what you like to do :p) I've already established this fact (read djmantx's additional info) When things get translated, it often happens to get misinterpreted also, which alongside continues to get translated and again later on misinterpreted, etc... That is a problem. Agreed? Think so... Trying to say the same thing but said differently = DIFFERENT VERSIONS. DIFFERENT MESSAGES. A) I ran after my cat. B) My cat ran away from me. pretty much same message right? cat does running, i do chasing. BUT B can refer to also cat ran away as in lost? correct? just a quick example of dangers in this and this is WHY Quran is ONLY in ARABIC el Mubeen (the clear)language. AGAIN... (hopefully for the last time) IF you read my links THIS would prove exactly what your telling me (it's not repeated rather... ah just read the links) =GRUFF___ I'm sorry you think that way... =mjda1st___ I wonder why you think their different? She experiences visions and senses prescenses of demensions and beings that no one but her can sense. One day in a near fatal car accident Jess see's her friend James appearing out of no where and pushing the car away from a drunk driver. She realizes she can speak telepathically to him and asks about his supernatueral power. James doesnt answer but promises to tell her later. A few weeks pass and Jess is sleeping with a violent fever and James teleports to her room. James tells her she's not a normal mortal but a soul reader. (Basically a person who decided in their premortal life to keep the abilities of their souls at the price of pain and lonliness. They can read minds, see the future, have visions, die and come back to life when he or she wants, fly, time travel, and travel to other demensions, ect.....) He also tells her mortals are blind and they can't see the true realities. James teaches Jess to shift (die, go to the spirit world and come back) Jess is temporaily healed of her mortal ailments and learns from the spirit counsel she must fight the soul reapers (people who chose to use their powers to drain the postive energy from people.) The counsel also tells her all mortals are soul readers but they can't use their abilities until they die. Jess comes back and meets Jim (a Japanese exchange student) and finds out he is a soul reader. Jim And Jess fall in love and defend the helpless mortals from the soul reapers while keeping their powers a secret. They shift whenever they want to to be together. I have reached a writers block at that point. moreOpen Question: my second writing poem :)?
sometimes we look back, and realize the great things we've missed. We realize that they're great after we lose them. sometimes we lose the people we love, because of some stupid words that comes out of our mouth, that meant the world to them. sometimes we cry until our heart falls apart we can fill an ocean with our tears we can fill a lake with our tears we can fill the World with our tears. sometimes we just start praying to get back the person we love, and start crying without realizing that there's no use of crying and filling pain in our heart. sometimes we look in the news, and feel sorry for the people that are dying, while we go partying. why is it so easy for us to eat while other people beg for food? why is it so easy for us to travel around the world, while other people cannot even move? why is it so easy for us to take from our parents money while other people beg for one cent? why is life so unfair ? but in the end,we all know no one is perfect. moreOpen Question: A Christmas Carol Wealth and Poverty. Hi everyone Im writing a lab report and Im wondering if in my abstract I started to get off topic. What can I do to improve it or should I even be talking about my solutions yet? In this lab, our Biology class used eggs to obtain a further understanding of diffusion and osmosis. This experiment was also conducted to help introduce hypotonic and hypertonic solutions in cells. The difference between hypotonic and hypertonic solutions is the direction in which water travels. When a cell like an egg is placed in a higher concentration of substances or in this case, vinegar, water diffuses into the egg through a process called osmosis. This process causes the egg to swell and is called a hypotonic solution. However when the higher concentration of solute is on the inside of the cell, water leaves the cell and causes it to shrink. This is known as a hypertonic solution. moreOpen Question: Please help, world history questionsss DDDD:?

When Will God’s Kingdom Come? “LORD, are you restoring the kingdom to Israel at this time?” (Acts 1:6) The apostles were eager to know when Jesus would establish his Kingdom. Today, some 2,000 years later, people are still eager to know: When will God’s Kingdom come? Since Jesus made the Kingdom the theme of his preaching, you might expect that he discussed this question. And indeed he did! He spoke extensively about a marked period of time that he called his “presence.” (Matthew 24:37) That presence is closely tied to the establishment of the Messianic Kingdom. What is this presence? Let us consider four truths the Bible reveals about the presence of Christ. 1. Christ’s presence would begin a long time after his death. Jesus gave an illustration in which he likened himself to a man who “traveled to a distant land to secure kingly power,” or to “secure a kingdom.” (Luke 19:12; footnote) How was that prophetic illustration fulfilled? Well, Jesus died and was resurrected; then he traveled to the “distant land,” that is, heaven. As Jesus foretold in a similar illustration, his return in kingly power would come only “after a long time.”—Matthew 25:19. Some years after Jesus ascended to heaven, the apostle Paul wrote: “This man [Jesus] offered one sacrifice for sins perpetually and sat down at the right hand of God, from then on awaiting until his enemies should be placed as a stool for his feet.” (Hebrews 10:12, 13) So a lengthy period of waiting followed Jesus’ arrival in heaven. The wait finally ended when Jehovah God made his Son the King of the long-promised Messianic Kingdom. That was when Christ’s presence began. Would humans on earth see this momentous event? There is not a shred of legitimate historical evidence anywhere that the Jesus Story originated as the biography of a man named Jesus, and quite a lot of evidence that it did not. The basic plot of the Jesus Story, including the motif of a crucified savior, already existed in many other religions long prior to the alleged time of Jesus. What we do find if we study into these areas is that the "Jesus Story" is actually an allegory for what would naturally be the oldest and most important story humans would notice and write down, that of the annual passage of the seasons of the year as the Sun travels through the 12 Houses of the Zodiac. Quote: There are those who do find a "historical Jesus" however but not the one in the time frame depicted by the New Testament. To them this "Jesus" seems to have been a trained Essene initiate, who lived most of his life in Egypt's western desert, and was markedly influenced by the Egyptian mystery tradition. According to Talmudic sources, his surname was Pandera, meaning "panther," so that he was known as Joshua, son of the Panther. This may be a clue to his association with the Egyptian priesthood. In Egypt, as throughout Africa, the badge of priesthood was the panther skin. Esoterically, the priests were all panthers, the panther representing the sun-by-night; thus, Jesus by being, "the son of the Panther," according to the Talmudists, may well have been a "son" of the Egyptian priesthood (Massey, Ancient Egypt: The Light of the World). moreResolved Question: what can go wrong in a submarine?

The young man paused on the street, shook his head, and kept walking. He was dressed quite plainly – loose, well worn jeans held up by a cracking belt, a white polo t shirt, and a baseball cap. His face was quiet and simple, dark eyes, and small smile of slight amusement always on his lips. He was taking a break from work – a lunch break. His job didn't pay much. Just minimum wage, and he only worked five days a week. But he didn't mind. He was getting by, and that was all he cared about. As long as he had a place to live, and food to eat, he was fine. Besides, he had some money on the side from painting and selling pictures. He biked and walked everywhere, and he enjoyed the fresh air. He had a good humor, and saw good in practically everything. The one thing that amused him the most was the gas prices. Those were always crazy, and they always had something changing in them that the people didn't like. No matter what it was, people were not happy with how they were. He remembered when they had been at least $1.99. Now they were rapidly climbing. Up to four dollars a gallon. The economy stopped almost immediately. With the prices rising as they were, people stopped going places. Less shopping, less time at friend's. Less time with everything. People began to pinch pennies, and save dimes. Each life was a struggle, except, of course, for the people who owned the gas, but he tried not to think of them. They were one of the things that didn't amuse him, or put him in good humor. So with no one buying anything, the stores started to go out of business, and people started to lose jobs, so even less money was going around. America was coming to a halt, and people almost thought that it wasn't going to start again. But then he also remembered when they were $1.99, people were complaining about how expensive it was. “When I was a kid . . .” That's what everyone said. They remembered when gas was just a nickel. But then as the prices rose, they realized that $1.99 really wasn't that expensive, and they wanted it back. As they struggled to pay for their gas bills, they glared at the price charts, and gritted their teeth. They vowed that if the prices dropped, they would never complain again. But then the prices dropped again. Quickly – faster than anyone had ever seen them do. They didn't drop as far as $1.99 but they dropped nonetheless. At first, of course, there's a critical relief; a loosening of the hold on money, travel started up again. Everyone started to breathe again, and be thankful. Every trip was made in thankfulness to the cheap gas, and they kept their vow. For a little while. As the initial rejoicing and relief faded, questions came up. “Why are the prices dropping? What is going on? What if this is just a bluff? Is the prices falling a curse instead of a blessing?” Now, instead of being grateful, they were becoming worried, and some even angry. “What are they trying to do to us?” was their question. They wanted to know if they were just being played with, to gain their trust, and catch them unawares. Their hands tightened again, and with every step, decided that they would be careful. With a wary eye on the prices, and light hand at the pump, they wait for the outcome . . .waiting . . . The young man had to laugh. No matter what the price was, they worried. What was the use of even trying to please them? He shook his head again, and moved on. What a world to live in. moreResolved Question: How come I'm not mad at him anymore?
I wrote off a friend the other day saying that I am mad at him for treating me like a heinous criminal after I told him I liked him(that's all I did!) or a whore. And that I'll never be able to forgive him and I don't want to be his friend anymore. I demanded an apology but never got one.(I said this over email because he travels a lot) Since I wrote that email, I'm not mad at him anymore and forgiven him. Why? moreResolved Question: where would be the worst fictional place to visit?

Due to the situation I have caused, and due to the small community we live in, I have nobody to talk to, and would like some advice from people who have experienced something like this. My husband works as an ex-pat in Africa and myself and our two children (aged 7 and 5) have moved here with him. The living arrangements are as such that we stay on a small compound / community, where all people living here are co-workers and everyone seems to be friends with everyone - a close, but small community. Well, as for my problem, it happened when we were all having a fun day in the pool, everyone enjoying a few drinks, laughing etc... I was attracting alot of attention from two of the married guys, and there was alot of mutual flirtation going on. Not once in all the time I was in the pool did my husband approach me, or come over and hold me and share a conversation with me. Well, later that evening, having had too much to drink, one of the men grabbed and kissed me and led me to the male bathroom where the other man was waiting. I did not have sex with them, we were kissing, they were fondling my breasts and I gave them hand jobs (no bj's either). I had my period at the time so I did not take my panties off at all, and no penetrative sex took place. After the affair, I went home and realized that I forgot my I-pod at the pool and proceeded back to find it. In the time that I went back to look for my I-pod, my husband got a phone call from a friend giving him a tip-off to go and look for me. When he got to the pool, he was so angry, he then hit me (for the suspicion that I may have lied about going to the pool to find my I-pod). He believes that I made up the story of my I-pod, so that I could have a valid reason to go back to the pool, to meet the guys there, and have sex with them. He apparently noticed (after his friend told him) how we were flirting all day, but never once mentioned it to me or asked me to get out of the pool. After confrontation etc, I told my husband the whole truth (it did take a week to tell him the whole truth, as his father was here visiting for the festive season and it was difficult to have a proper confession session without him getting wind of the situation or making him feel uncomfortable). Anyway, point is, I have now told him the whole truth and he still does not want to believe me. He says that I have taken too long to come out with the truth, but our situation with the visitor did not allow immediate confrontation. I know that what I did was very wrong, and I do not want to lose my marriage or my children through this mistake (although I fear it may already be too late). My husband keeps asking me "why" I did this to him and "how could I have done this"... I cannot answer him as I too do not know why I did it. I don't want to look like someone trying to justify my actions by blaming someone else for their actions, however, I do feel that since my husband has been playing online poker, for the last year (maybe longer), that he hasn't been paying much attention to anything or anyone else. He seems to have taken to it very well. He is progressing nicely and has become rather "addicted" to it. I honestly feel that he has become too comfortable with our marriage, and maybe feels that he does not need to work at it on an ongoing basis - needless to say the relationship he has with our children has been on a downward spiral too. Our sex life has started to suffer due to it, and I have gone to bed alone, almost every night. Once a week, maybe, he would come to bed when I went to bed, and even then, it didn’t feel as though we were connecting. He was not paying me any attention at all, there was no more nice talk about - "how was your day" - "how are the kids doing with school" – “you look pretty today” – “your hair looks good that way” – nothing!! It was all about poker, poker and poker... even the children talk about it to everyone, and when writing essays at school, they would write about the way daddy plays poker all day long... We have a very comfortable and blessed lifestyle whereby we can travel on holiday internationally every 3 months - and the last trip we went on holiday, he spent his days playing online poker and leaving myself and the children to our own devices. Now I do not, in any way, want to place the blame of my infidelity on him, he is a good man, with a loving heart; he spoils me and buys me anything I ask for. We live a good life and I love him very much. However, I am also a woman who enjoys attention and my husband says I flirt alot. Well, when I got a bit of attention (first time in a long time) from two other men, it made me feel wanted and special again. It also made me feel sick to think that I did what did, and I regret every moment of it. Now my husband and I are at the crossroads where he feels he cannot trust me anymore and can’t go on, and that I have lied to him. In fact, I have told him the whole truth, down to the most painful detail. moreOpen Question: A little help with literature please?
