She was all excited, but then i informed things like this can often be scams, and that she should have asked more questions. But anyways, anyone know about this company? It's All Dream Vacations, the site is the following www.tratocorp.com She supposedly won a trip to Disneyland 4 days 3 nights, with hotel and i'm not sure what else. They charged 284 dollars to her account already. Just wondering if anyone knows about this, or if someone has been scammed by this company? Resolved Question: my dog isnt acting normal today?

i have a 5month old bichon frise. he had all 4 shots and rabies. today he wasnt acting normal. all he wanted to do is sleep. he ate in the morning and thats all. i offered him food plenty of times after that but he just wont eat it. he drinks normally,pees and poops normally. yesterday we were at our cousins and he acted normal. he is also teething. he lost all his front teath so now is back teeth are coming out. i tried to soften his food. he would put it in his mouth and spit it out. i gave him a little soft cheese and he ate it. but 5 min later he threw that up. oh and he did throw up like 4 times today:( i cant take him to the vets right now. were going on a vacation to disneyland for a few days and were leaving tonight. so my cousins will take care of him.the question is why is he acting like this?good news! i let him rest with cage alone for like 20 min. i took him out. rubed some water on his belly. 5 min later he ate his food and drank water:) and he went to the bathroom too. hes back to normal:) more

I'm 17 going to be 18 in October, I have a friend that I've known about a year that she has gotten to known. My friend Liz is 21, she doesn't party she doesn't do drugs, nothing like that. Her and I are very close. She always tells me that she is like the little sister she never had. We live about an hour away from each other, so every weekend she comes down and stays with me at my house. I'm on vacation in Orlando, Kissimmee, with my family and my cousin.. We went to Disneyland yesterday, and after about 5 minutes me and my cousin were asked by a group of Mexican school-girls if they could take a picture with us (we're both 16).. I really enjoyed the walk around the lake.. Speaking Spanish in Mexico, Danish in Norway and German in Germany, and of course English in USA/England.. It was amazing to have the chance to speak all my 4 languages at the same place =D more

Resolved Question: Overheating Radiator family vacation problem with car?

Hello there, I am stranded at a hotel right now, my car started smoking on our family vacation, it was driving fine, it has run a temperature before but I thought it would be fine.. Anyways on our way to disneyland my wife noticed steam coming from the Radiator so I pulled over. By this time the steam is billowing out and so I open the hood, I notice there is a coolant everywhere(dripping from the hood and pool on the ground.) Is there a way I can patch this up or at least make it the rest of the way (we're 50 miles away and I can't leave my car.) Any help would be great as I don't have great mechanical skills I'm going to look at the hoses hopefully one of them broke off. more

Resolved Question: Should I cancel my vacation?

I have planned to go to California to see my nephew and go to Disneyland, Hollywood, etc. But trouble keeps happening. I have been waiting on settlement money for 3 months, but weird things keep preventing it from being placed in my hands. First the hospitals drag on for almost 3 months figuring out what they want, then the computers go down, then the insurance company sends a bad check (Progressive), then they send another bad check, then my nephew's GF has her purse stolen (with the money he was going to spend in it), then they send the check to the lawyer after 5 pm and it takes several days to get deposited, and many other little things (working hard to prevent screw ups at work and they STILL happen, etc.). My nephew starts a job the 18th, so time is limited, so it is now or do another time. Also, now because of further delays I cannot have a mechanic look at my car before I go. I finally told my boss "Forget it" I canceled my vacation and said I'll go some other time when things get better. Experience has taught me that when something is that much trouble, don't push it or you will regret it. Would you do the same? more

Apologies in advance for the length. I originally asked this in another section but wanted some parents perspective. Maybe I'm overreacting. When I moved overseas with my husband 4 years ago, I dreamed of us taking wonderful vacations through Europe. Since moving here though, I feel like I'm married to my in-laws (two individuals that, although not easy, I've learned to deal with for the most part), and with both me and my husband working so much and on different schedules, we barely have private time together. Whenever we plan a vacation, my in-laws try to come. Each year, they take a fantastic one of their own together and when me and my husband plan our one and only vacation for the year, they want to tag along. My husband, daughter and I have yet to take a vacation alone together. These vacations with the in-laws are not ideal for me and the whole time I'm uncomfortable and having to explain everything I choose to do to the in-laws. I feel like we're constantly catering to them, waiting on them and having to do what they want to do. Tomorrow, we were to leave very early in the morning (originally planned for 4am but being so excited, we were really hoping to go to sleep 3 hours ago so that we could leave at 2am) to go on a much anticipated camping trip to Italy and France. This was the dream vacation I have been waiting for and I was so excited. There were no plans for the in-laws to come along. A while ago, they had said they would meet us on the way back in Paris and when we insisted we were not changing our plans to go to Disneyland Paris, they said they were going to pass and had planned their own trip down to Tuscany later in August. Fine. Good. An hour before wanting to go to bed today, we receive a text from my father in law saying that they booked at our first campsite, and would be seeing us the day we arrived. ???What??? My husband, who wanted this vacation to be just the 3 of us too called his father to find out what their plans were.... "Oh, we'll just follow you guys whereever you want to go." My husband said that, it's fine if they meet us at our first destination but that we really wanted to go off on our own for the rest. My father-in-law felt insulted, got mad, told my husband to have a nice vacation and hung up on him. We were both quite upset and the excitement we had been feeling for ages completely deflated. Wanting to clear things up and explain our desire to have a spontaneous vacation where we only had to worry about ourselves, my husband called his father back to explain. He seemed to understand but my mother in law was screaming in the back ground, basically writing my husband and me off, saying that she wished our daughter a nice vacation but not us. I feel awful about this whole thing and at the same time, am extremely angry that they would put us in this position just before we planned to leave. We ask and take nothing from them. I'm incredibly homesick and needed this time for me, my husband and daughter. I'm not excited anymore and am disappointed about the whole thing. How would you deal with this situation?I should add that in small doses, I don't mind spending the time with them. I know that they like to spend time with us and our daughter. In March I invited and paid for a mini break for all of us so that they could have some special time, especially with their grand daughter.... but.... do they have to come everytime we go away?Is it normal for in-laws to expect this and is it wrong for us to want to spend our family vacation alone? more

(I asked this in "Singles and Relationships" but I didn't get an answer :/) So my boyfriend and I have been together for 5 months. This past June, I wasn't being very nice to him (I'm not sure why), but like he took offense to it. He then told me this past Monday that he was thinking about breaking up with me because I wasn't being very nice, but he wasn't going to. He came over 2 days ago and he was being really nice to me Before he left to go home two nights ago, he noticed I was being sad, but I told him that I don't want to break up at all and I'm worried that he will, which is then when he took my head and brought it close to kiss me. At 11:30 PM the night he came over, he called me (randomly) and we were on the phone for 1 hour and when we got off the phone, he said he wanted to talk to me because he missed me already. He texted me yesterday saying that he's "not ready to break up with me yet" because I make him happy. They "yet" part kind of threw me off Also: Starting July 10th-August 9th I'm not seeing him because our vacations conflict... He told me that he doesn't want our "relationship to die" (but we'll be talking every day), and he said he doesn't think it will because he wants to be with me on my birthday (September 5th) And we were supposed to go to Disneyland tomorrow (we've been planning to go together for 2 weeks) and then on Friday, he went to EDC (Electric Daisy Carnival) and he met these two 16 year old guys and he told me that he's going to Universal Studios tomorrow with them so they can hang out before they go back up to Washington............ I wanted to go to Disneyland with him but then he totally changed our plans just so he can hang out with these two guys he doesn't even know. And then I said "well I wanted to go to Disneyland with just us 2....." and he's like "Ya I know, but I wanted to hang out with these guys before they go back up to Washington... but I want you to come".... I mean, I'm going... But still.... But last night, we were on the phone for 3 hours and for like 2 hours of it, he was playing video games so he wasn't even paying attention...I like this category anyways btw hahaI'm still going to Universal with him tomorrow..... But like I was crying on the phone but I wouldn't tell him that I was and he asked if I was and I told him no... And then he got off the phone and then I told him I was crying and then he cancelled his plans with his friends on a Saturday night to talk to meLike he still treats me like I'm the best thing in the world more

So i came back from vacation in Vegas and yeah i will tell you about it. So my friends took me to vegas and lucky for us we stayed at the hardrock hotel and we stayed in a villa. The first thing we did was we checked out the hotel room. It was so cool! I ran and jumped onto my bed and i was screaming and said I LOVE VACATION! So my friends were jumping on my bed and kept yelling VEGAS!!!!! Then i jumped into the bathtub and i hurt but i didn't give a crap. Then we went down to the restaurant and the food sounded so fancy. The food was so good and after that my friend Angel had a late arrival so i had to get her and when i got her she kept screaming and hugging me. After that we went to a concert and i haven't been tot one since ever and we saw offspring. The next day we went to the spa and then we went shopping and i got a hat with lots of bling on it. Next we went down to the down to the pool and we got a V.I.P cabana. The pool there was awesome i had this huge slide there. Next we went to this fancy restaurant then we went dancing at this night club called vanity and i got so drunk i thought a toliet was talking. Then the next day my friends took me to disneyland. But I think it's so weird how they try to make everything talk. A thing that creeped me out there was that me and my friends were going on this rollercoaster ride and the workers looked like they didn't know what they were doing. It was weird but i hate to admit but i had fun. expect for the 3D Michael Jackson movie. I didn't said it because since it was 3D i thought he was gonna choke me. I am going down to Florida for Vacation. I am leaving Maryland Monday, and it'll take a while to get there. I know it's going to be hot as hell down there, and not only that, rainy. My family is going on vacation and we will be in the Los Angeles area for about 5 days. One of these days we are going to Magic Mountain, so we actually have about 4 days to fill. My family consists of two teenage girls and one 11 year old boy (who is used to being dragged to see places that he really could care less about). We have been to LA twice before, but both of these times were more to visit family than actually see the sights. However, we have been to Disneyland, Universal Studios, Venice Beach, the Chinese Theater, Olvera Street, and walked through some of Hollywood. The Getty Museum and the Museum of Wax are also not possibilities. So I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions? Other museums? Anything science-related? Historical buildings? Places to shop? I am probably going to get my period somewhere between the 5th-7th on July. We are planning to go the Disneyland and surrounding parks from the the 5th until the 11th - most of which will be the duration of my period. I'm really miserable thinking about having to deal with the low energy, icky sticky feeling, and worrying about stains. I wear pads and I cannot wear tampons (I am not allowed and it's not an option). So do you have any tips for me to be able to enjoy my vacation and go on all the rides? I begged my mom to postpone the vacation since we haven't booked the flight, but we can't... I can't take birth control pills to skip it, so don't suggest that. Hi! I'm a huge Disney Parks fanatic and I go to Disneyland more than Disney World, so I'm really excited for my vacation this summer. This time, I'm finally old enough (I'm turning 17) to go on one of the backstage tours, and it's my one birthday gift from my parents, but I'm not sure which one is more worth the time and money. I'm trying to decide between the Keys to the Kingdom or Backstage Magic Tour. I know the Keys to the Kingdom is less in depth, but it's cheaper, takes up less park time, and you get to go on a couple rides while on the tour. The Backstage one sounds cool because of all the different places you get to visit, but I'm concerned that 7 hours will take up my park time, is it worth it? Also, does one offer more backstage (like in the utilidors) time than others? I really want to be an actress at Disney one day, and I think it would be cool to spend time in the places where the actors and cast members go. Thanks so much! -Emily more

I live in Florida until I was 14 and then I moved... Im 17 now. I went last summer because airfare was super cheep. Now for this summer... So my moms best friend is moving soon she is the one I would stay with so my mom would send me soon. Also I would like o see old friends/ family friends/ my dads family. Now because it is soon airfare is expensive! We dont have a lot of money like most people these days haha. Mom mom said I had to pay $100 and my Grandpa in chipping in $100 as a birthday gift. But the rest my mom will have to pay $250 and then she will be in debt. Now we dont have a lot of debt and Its not the much but I dont want to cause a problem and have it stress her out. The rest of my family just went to Disneyland though so we still have to pay some of that off thats like $600. I would so next year or later this summer but I want to stay with her and my mom agrees. My mom is already stessing about me going just looking at airfare. She wont give me an answer as to whether she wants me to go. She likes that I will have a lot to do though so Its not a waist. My friend promised me a LONG time ago that when she would go to Disneyland, she would get me a little gift or something, not too expensive. But she e-mailed me saying she couldn't because she got snacks and gifts for HERSELF. And when I went on vacation I got her a gift! Should I be mad at her for getting things only for herself and not others? But the thing is she promised me so long ago. And EVERY time I go on vacation I get her gifts!
