Voting Question: How Can I Change My Menstrual Cycle? (im on the pill)?
I am going on vacation soon , my cycle runs when the vacation begins, we will be scuba diving and doing other related water activities. Is there a way to change my cycle so that it does not interfere with my vacation. I can't use tampons they create pain for me. moreVoting Question: Where can i scuba dive for sunken treasure?
HI i want to go on vacation and scuba dive for sunken treasure, most likely found in old sunken ships or maybe just coins/objects laying on the ground floor. where can i go that i would be most likely to find something? moreResolved Question: Are all-inclusive resorts worth the price?
My family (2 adults, 2 teenage boys), are considering Beaches in Jamaica for our first-ever real vacation. We have only done weekend camping and weekend beach trips over the years. Beaches is expensive, but with the activities they offer (like scuba diving, water park) and the food and drinks being included, it might actually be a better deal than paying for all those things separately. Has anyone been to Beaches? Any input would be greatly appreciated. moreResolved Question: Is he an inconsiderate jerk, or is this all in my head? 10 points for any help :( ?
My boyfriend and I are in a long distance relationship since we both went back to our home states after meeting on vacation. I am deeply in love with him. Okay, here is the problem. Firstly, he always blows me off when I want to talk on the phone or skype. Always without fail. We talk on the phone maybe once every 6 weeks. Seriously. The rest of the time it's texts and facebook. I have not seen him for almost a year. I work constantly, but I always make time to talk to him. I never go out or get to have fun because I am working to save money to move for college, and also to visit him. He tells me he can't visit me because he has no money. We have been fighting a lot because of the distance, so I would say seeing one another is pretty important. So, following his speech to me about how he is mean to me (one thing we argue about) because he's under so much stress from not being able to afford school and not having the money to see me. Of course, I understand. Two weeks later, he enrolls in a $1,000 scuba driving course. I would understand this if perhaps scuba diving was a lifelong dream of his. But in the 4 years I have known him, he has never said anything about it. Never been to a body of water, hasn't even been in a pool. I take it in stride and I don't say anything. A month goes by, he is going to the swim shop every week buying gear and all kinds of stuff. He also buys concert tickets and things like that. I still say nothing. Then he and his friends go on a 2 day trip to some diving spot. I get peeved, say nothing. He just had a 4 day weekend off and spent 3 of those days on vacation 4 hours from his house (I live 8 hours from him) at another dive spot. I am mad and upset and I tell him everything I feel. He gets mad and defensive (like usual) and the conversation ends with him saying he will change. He doesn't. 3 days later, he has blown off another phone call, and as I just find out- he's going on an $800 dive trip to the Bahamas in October. Also- we were supposed to go to a concert together last year, and he promised he wouldnt go without me, but when I couldnt make it- he ignored me all day and then 5 minutes before it started he sent me a text that he went with his friend. He also once left me for his ex girlfriend. The list goes on and on. I want to dump him but I feel bad, because I love him so much, I feel a huge sense of loss about what might have been. What do I do? moreVoting Question: How do I confront my girlfriend about this?
My girlfriend and I have gotten back together after our first terrible relationship, let me say in the opening week of our new relationship I made more progress then in the 2 months we dated before, we clicked. We broke up at the end of February because we were not working out at all, so far our new relationship has lasted about 2 months and we are both happy and I fall in love with her a different way everyday But I cant get this memory out of my head: She went on vacation during the February break, we kept in touch via email, we talked for about 3 days and then she said "We have to talk" and she vanished from my life for a week and half. We were supposed to go to the movies when she got back, but she said "I don't feel like it" she acted strange for a while. Her friend was there with her when she was on vacation and she said she was with another guy, and they spent time together. She said they looked happier with him then with me, she said he kissed her on the cheek and they even went scuba diving. She then said my girlfriend acted depressed on the last day of her vacation for no reason. In a chat the other day she asked me "Why did you think I was avoiding you??" she asked this because I asked her why she was avoiding me because it sounded like she was, but really she was very busy. I said "We will talk about it later" she insists i call her soon and tell her whats wrong, she says she loves me and we cuddle all the time, I don't know how to tell her about my feelings I felt like she was avoiding me because of what happened on February break, I am at a loss of what to tell her, how should I tell her about this guy... should I just lie about it. I don't want to loose her so how should I tell her about this situation. moreVoting Question: To go or not go on vacation?
My husband and I have been married for 22 years and we always take some sort of vacation. We are also scuba divers. Our scuba shop planned a bus trip to a great location. It is a very long drive but we are going on a charted bus. He is less then enthusiastic about it. At first he said no then he said yes and we paid for our trip. Now at the last minute he tells me he is not going. The money from this is non-refundable and I really want to go. I know several people on this trip and I would be perfectly safe going without him but he don't do so good while I am away. He goes as he please but he is not that genius to me. I never nag or complain when he wants to go on a little short trip. He says he will not mind if I go. I am just afraid if I go he will be well lets just say less then happy when I come back. Sooo should I go or not. I have never been diving without him but like I said I can team up with one of the other girls and be fine.Well if he has other motives to stay at home I hope she can convince him to go live with her he is a diffcult man to live with lol. moreResolved Question: Any precautions I should take while vacationing in Mexico this summer (in case I am newly pregnant)?

Annnnyyy suggestions?? :) moreVoting Question: Please Translate into spanish...10 Points!?
Tourism in the Caribbean is a major part of all of its islands economics and income. Without the foreign contribution many Caribbeaners might starve. Most of the Caribbean is made up of poor countries with little money and by allowing foreign people to vacation; thousands of jobs are created in the process. These jobs in turn help to fuel a global economy and stimulate spending in other places. Additionally, vacations reduce stress which can cause heart attacks or strokes which are bad. Very bad. Instead of stroking out, perhaps maybe we should all take a nice long vacation and see how we feel after we return! Luckily, there are an untold number of things to do while in the Caribbean. Diving, swimming, eating local foods, and fishing are just a few of the wonders one may find in the tropical environment of the Caribbean. There is a lot of fun to be had! Because of how diverse the islands are you can usually find an activity that fits you just right. The abundance of fish makes fishing a popular activity, even among the native population. Diving is extremely popular. Because of the reef system which surrounds the islands there is by no means a lack of amusingly colored fish to gaze at. The reefs are actually one of the main “selling points” of the islands. There isn’t a much better place to do snorkeling of scuba diving than in the Caribbean (caribbeandiving.com). Local cuisine differs from island to island but wherever you’re at there is always something delicious. On the island of Jamaica habanera peppers are used a lot in food and the food is extremely spicy. On large the food found in the Caribbean has a strong African and Hispanic background. This is because during the age of slaves, Puerto Rico and Spain used much of the Caribbean to farm things like sugar cane and the such. The occupation left an impact though. One can hardly go anywhere without seeing the something that is representative of the culture. Marijuana in the islands is still illegal. However in most parts of the Caribbean, smoking pot is nearly decriminalized. In the US Virgin Islands, it is not uncommon to see people smoking marijuana in the middle of town with police officers in easy distance. Some police officers attempt to enforce it, but it is hardly ever done (rollitup.org). Weddings in the Caribbean are EXTREMELY popular. The gorgeous scenery and beautiful ocean make the Caribbean a must have destination for many young (and old) women seeking to find a perfect marriage location. Vacations in the Caribbean aren’t necessarily cheap, but considering the global economic climate, the islands of the Atlantic offer a wonderful deal. A “basic plan” trip to the Caribbean will cost you around $984 per person plus around $100 per person for the actual flight (SFGate.com). moreResolved Question: I am thinking about going on a cruise and have never been but not sure. Can you give me any hints?
I am not really one that is much of a sightseer and dont enjoy being stuck in one spot all the time as I get bored very easily. When we normally go on vacation we go to interactice museums, sports games, theme parks, mini golfing,go cart tracks etc. The point is that I am always on the go. I am afriad that a cruise I would get very bored very easily and feel as though I wasted my money. I swim just well enough to get by and typically dont enjoy the beaches much. So scuba diving is out of the question for me and anything of that sort.I also have a 5 year old daughter and my girlfriend that would be coming with me so I want to include them into any activities that we do and it seems that there are no true family excursions or activities.Am I looking at this all wrong or would there really be things there that can keep me occupied and busy enough to not be bored? Any help would be appreciated. moreResolved Question: i want adventure! and recommendations?

So... I haven't taken a vacation in almost 5 years and cant seem to decide between Bahamas or Puerto Rico; Im seeking some friendly advice. Which place would be better for two single, young professionals? We are both of Latin decent and love to dance! So, with that being said, and if that was all we were in to, the choice would be clear (Puerto Rico). BUT we are also looking to make the best of our vacation doing some scuba diving or snorkeling, water sports, nature hiking and some site seeing. *The most important "thing" for us is the beach! Which place has the prettiest beach? Clean water, white sand or soft sand, and lots of interesting people? The over all experience? Please be courteous with your advise; where would you suggest and why? moreResolved Question: Looking for a tropical vacation spot in an all inclusive resort on or near a white sand beach with clear blue?
water. Also access to good shopping, waterfalls, horseback riding, hiking, good food, good tours, scuba diving, sight seeing all for a great reasonable price for 2 people on a midlife honeymoon. Can anyone reccommend a resort and or place to go. Preferably from experience please. moreResolved Question: obeese friendly vacations/honeymoons?
I am 250 lbs and my fiance is 350. We live in NJ and are thinking of vacations - maybe something for our honeymoon with activities for us. It doesn't even have to be on the mainland of the US. Maybe we'll go to an island resort or a cruise. Any suggestions are welcome. My only thing is that I don't care about just laying in the sand sunning for a week. I want to DO things. Such as snorkeling/scuba diving, but will they have suites big enough for us? Would a massage on a massage table be uncomfortable? Would dune buggy's/ATV's be uncomfortable? Are we too heavy for a zip line? What about water/jet skiing? I would like to hear what great vacations plus size people have taken to help me decide where I'm going to go. Anything rude will be reported. moreResolved Question: family of 5, where can we take a vacation please help!!!!!?

We live in North Carolina. We will be spending our summer in Hawaii. Every two years we spend our whole summer in a few places. The other years- We stay home, we go one 1 vacation (small one), we go to places in the area and we play outside. This year- It is the summer where we spend time at a place for the whole summer. I am marrying this wonderful man who is 30. I am 26. He has two daughters ages 11 and 5. We are doing this- (EDIT: We will have another vacation, but it is split into two parts. We will spend Spring Break in Orlando doing nothing. We will miss one school week in May to go to amusement parks and different places. It is technically NOT our summer vacation.) This summer we are spending it in Hawaii. Except we will take tiny steps to get to each place at a time. We will be driving in a "fancy" bus to Tennessee. Nashville to be exact. We leave on June 10th. We will spend 5 days in Nashville. Getting horse back riding lessons, going to a dude ranch, going to a rodeo. It will be fun, especially the shopping. We will also drive to Pigeon Forge and go to Dolly World and one of those shows. And relax for 5 days before the big trip to California. Then on June 20th, we will ride to Oklahoma to go to an airport in the same bus. The bus is not like a school bus. It is like a tour bus, with comfy seats and lots of space. We will leave at around 4 in the morning and arrive at about 10 pm at night. We will spend 2 days at a hotel and rest, rest and rest. June 22, we will be flying to California. San Diego, to be exact. We will go to Sea World, Disney Land, Lego Land, and to the beaches. We will also spend 3 days in Los Angeles. We will go star hunting, go to the Chinese Theater and the walk of fame, we will go to the beaches. Then we will drive back to San Diego airport. June 30th- We will go to Hawaii. Maui. We will fly from San Diego, to there. We will arrive in Hawaii and settle in a hotel. In Hawaii we will go swimming, go to the beaches, get Hula Lessons, go to the spa, go scuba diving and everything in Maui. Even ziplining and going to a Luau. August 1- We will leave Hawaii. We will fly back to Mississippi and drive back. We will have our family car transported there. We will spend the rest of the summer going to different local places. How is this summer vacation? moreResolved Question: Best vacation spot in the Caribbean?

Me and a couple of friends are planning on a vacation to Puerto Rico for 6 days. We are having troubles in planning a itinerary. Anybody who lives there or has been on a vacation and can give a real good idea would be greatly appreciated. moreResolved Question: Romantic vacations spots in the US!!?
I want to send my parents on a romantic getaway for their 25 anniversary. I want to send them somewhere they can experience new things and just spend time together. Somewhere they can go scuba diving, something with animal or something like that. Something that isn't outrageously expensive too. moreResolved Question: I don't know what to do about my parents and me?
Ok to start I should say that financially we're ok. By no means rich, but definetly not poor. Middle class, maybe the lower tier of upper middle class. So I'm 17, and all along since I when I was younger, I would hear stories of my friends going to different states, or countries, or even just camping out. I have lived in California and Washington, and the only place I have gone on vacation was to Vegas for two or three days with my dad (in retrospect a horrible idea. I got sick and it wasn;t very fun. What idiot dad has a 9 year old choose a vacation destination, and then later act like it was the best thing ever?). Or how their parents would have a really cool skill or interest, like skiing or running, soccer, scuba diving, etc, and my friends/their parents could bond over that. My parents and I have not gone on any vacations together, let alone a camping trip, and my parents don't have any interests....at all. Basically all they care about is the life/day to day crap and our dog. So I've been able to deal with this, but now it's break and pretty much all of my friends are going on some cool vacation....and I'm not. I asked my dad once why we never went ANYWHERE and he said "I've already done that", and then I asked him why we've never been on a roadtrip or camping or anything, and he answered "I went camping once before"....that was for a cubscout trip that we went one of three days for. He never answered the roadtrip. And then I continued to look at my friends. Maybe this is self defending, but I am very intelligent, tons of people come to me for help/school work and for intellectual conversation, but I have a much lower GPA than all of them. And then I looked and their relationship with their parents.....all of their parents had some kind of bonding activity with them, or were a big part of their lives, and then me......I have nothing. Even kids who I know are lower income than me had a better relationship with their parents. Everyone who excels at something or is smarter, seems to have been helped by their parents in some way. And that makes me envious and angry at the same time, because my parents have NEVER tried to do anything of the sort. My mom is slightly better than my dad. She used to drive us to amusment parks and the such. But that wasn't exactly mentally stimulating, and it hasn't helped to sculpt me into anything worth while. My dad does no housework, doesn't drive us, all he does is walk our dog twice a day. He doesn't cook or clean or anything. So here I am now, admittedly in teenage angst, but I think I am justified. My parents have never made it a goal to mentally stimulate or nurture, or physically nurture me. It honestly seems to me as if they thought parenting just meant keeping a kid alive....honestly, they've raised our damn dogs better than me, they often drive it with them because it "likes to go on rides", or "walk it because he's bored", and I can't even fathom how much money they've spend on medical stuff for them....where as for me it's been basic shots and stuff, and one issue where I needed three stitches. So basically here I am, a rather unfullfilled 17 year old with only so much to offer. I have not traveled outside the country, or outside the west coast. My family has never taken a single vacation together, my mom/sister went on one to Italy together, and my dad/I went to vegas. We are far from poor, and I know the issue has not been money, because we've had enough money to buy new appliances, get a yard which goes unused for my dog, medical bills for said dog, etc. And then my parents have really not cared about my grades, or outside school life. Basically I have parents who help me sustain life, but take absolutely no interest in generating bonds or a relationship.Oh yes, also recently I was really depressed about this. My mom wanted to go get something, and I just said no/that she could go. So then she said "it has to be done" (referring to the task), punch me on the left side of my face, and called me a loser/said I had to friends.......and she was yelling a fair amount and then said our dog didn't like to hear yelling. And my dad is pretty volatile too. Once when I asked if I could go on some trip he said he'd never spend that much/it was stupid, then I said he spent that much on my sister's trip and he said an explitive to me. Then my mom said something, he got up as if he was about to hit her (later he said he was just going to get in her face), I defended her my throwing my foot in front of me, he then jumped on top of me and tried to smother me or something. After he said he'd "hit me when she wasn't around". And he has yelled alot too, and hit my sister a few times (pushing and the such, nothing horrible, but nonetheless).Ok, this also seems to be some confusion so I'll clear this up. I wouldn't care if my parents took me to Europe, or took me to some nearby national park, the point is they blatantly refuse to do anything to try to bring us together, because we are pretty damn disfunctional. I submitted a poem before for a scholarship, and my mom accused me of plagerizing it. I of course didn't, and when I got the scholarship she asked what it was for, and she still thought I stole it. My dad has always refused to do anything with us, whether it's going to disneyland when I was young, or whatever, it's nothing new. And when I've asked him to go to a football game or a college game, he's said no. And he likes football/sports. And I've asked them to try all kinds of new things, all have been met with "I;m too busy", or just straight no.... moreVoting Question: Why doesn't Conservatives helps poor people get richer?
I have an idea to help poor people get richer and live better. The best way to about this is to tax wealthier people more so that there is more Government money to redistribute to poor people, making poor people richer. Another idea I had is we would take 8,000 homeless people, allow them to live on an island, build them castles on the island, give these homeless people their own airplanes and airline service and servant pilots, give them free medicine, give them free education, give them free vacations all over the world, give them scuba diving lessons. Give them free Yoga classes. Give them free movies, free ipods, free iPads, free digital cameras....free laptops..... Give them free EVERYTHING! It would be a utopia.... Now the issue is how to pay for all this.....if we tax the rich corporations, we could then redistribute the tax money to this Welfare Island. This would be a tropical island where welfare benefits would fund pretty much everything. the poor people can choose to work if they want to....but they won't necessarily have to...they will receive free distributionsand you could live there and snorkel and scuba dive every day..... Drink rum every night....sing songs....just sit on the beach..... you wouldn't need to leave it because you're getting welfare distributions....and people would work there to serve these people moreResolved Question: English to Spanish translation?
Dear Alyssa, I am very happy we chose to go to Mexico for vacation! I hope we stay here for two weeks. Although I doubt we will. We’ll probably only stay for a week. As soon as we have checked into our hotel and have unpacked, we are going to the beach! I’m very excited. After that, we are going out to eat. A man at the hotel recommended a few restaurants he thinks are very good. The weather right now is wonderful. It's warm with a light breeze. My parents said that we might go scuba diving while we’re here. I couldn’t believe it at first. Later, when we go to the beach, will be the first time I’ve even see the ocean in person. I hope you’re doing well. Maybe you can come along the next time we visit Mexico. I’ll write you again later this week. Your friend, Leanne Thank you! oh, and please don't use an online translator. moreResolved Question: Were should I go on Vacation ?

So a few friends and I are looking into going on a tropical type vacation near the end of this year. None of us have ever gone anywhere before so we all have ideas of where we should go. Here's a list of what we are looking for: beach, all inclusive package (if possible), activities like scenic hikes, scuba diving, etc...and if possible someplace with a interesting history. We are students so nothing extremely extravagant resort wise, we also want someplace with a nightlife so we can have a little fun too. As you can see its a fairly tall list, we want to be busy but enjoy some luxury too. Does anyone know of or has been to any where like this. Or any ideas of a good area of the world to start looking? (also we are coming from canada) Thank you in advance!!! moreResolved Question: Vacation destination?

We are mostly looking to go somewhere with great beaches and snorkelling or scuba diving opportunities, a very active nightlife, reasonably affordable flights and hotels, beautiful people, etc. Does anyone have any suggestions or advice as to where we should go? p.s. we would really like to go somewhere that is pretty safe because it will just be us two girls and we're both able to speak spanish so that isn't an issue if we go somewhere with limited English. moreVoting Question: What's your bucket list?
